I guess my last review was too much for this business because it was removed soon after it was written. I can’t help the fact that I’m brutally honest!!! That’s why I have a huge Yelp following now, with 30 followers!!! And why would a business hire someone who looks like the wait staff here??!?!? I had heard about this place for a while but never got a chance to check it out!!! That changed when a friend of mine decided to throw a birthday pool party here. I didn’t know what to expect but there still is a lot to be desired from the place. First walking in, there was a weird swinging door to the entrance. I didn’t know whether to push or pull. I ended up pushing. I don’t understand how they close up for the night with that type of door as the main entrance. Secondly, the stench of the restrooms filled the entrance and that’s not a good thing. It smelled as if someone tried to mask funk coming from the restrooms. I didn’t stay on the inside that long. I made my way to the outside through a rickety steel door with missing paint and rust revealing its age. The outside of this place is quite beautiful. And I was quite surprised since the inside was kind of shabby. There was a grill, bar, benches, tables, and several lounging chairs around the pool. The pool was sparkling clean and quite beautiful. I didn’t plan on swimming so I didn’t dress for swimming but I did stick my feet in the water and it was extremely cold but I guess that’s a good thing during the Georgia summer months. There was a lady who was I guess the wait staff/lifeguard. She came around and asked if we wanted anything and brought it to us. But I don’t think she should be serving drinks or in any type of job where she interacts with the public. Her appearance is not up to par to be any kind of public servant. She would be great at stocking or something that requires her to stay out of sight!!! There was also a Dj playing great music, I think his name was Steve and people were saying he never played music like he played that day!!! I guess he was catering to the crowd that came for the party. That is always a plus when it comes to djing, cater to whatever audience is in attendance that day. There was food there provided by my friend. It was grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, with all the fixing and chips. I’m not a drinker so I decided to walk to the convenience store adjacent to this bar. I purchased 2 32oz fountain drinks for $0.99. And walked back to the bar. They made a big hoopla about you couldn’t bring outside drinks inside. I didn’t understand that since there was food there and not everybody drinks alcohol, and why would I pay $3.00 for a soda that wasn’t even a third of the drink I purchased from the store. This put a very bad taste in my mouth. No pun intended!!! This made me reevaluate ever coming to this place again. I see if it was alcohol but it was Cherry Fanta and a Coke in a styrofoam cup!! I’m still up in the air about that decision right now, but I did enjoy myself outside in the pool area!!!

Wind Creek Montgomery – Menu with Prices – 1801 Eddie L Tullis Rd, Montgomery

This was my 1st time coming here 1st off I self park at an entrance I came in with my luggage security immediately stop and said I have to walk to the other entrance. So I started walking which I felt was kinda rude considering she didn’t call up someone to pick me up in a cart. So I disregard that incident. They had so much security that I started to feel uncomfortable like shouldn’t they have loss prevention…the eye in the sky…well I guess after they had a heist last year they decided not to trust anyone. So now things are adding up this was probably the reason why I had to go through the other entrance. They might as well have metal detectors Anyway I slept in room 237 this room was horrible it was trucks outside the window . I guess this was thier loading dock. When I tell you it sound like I was on the side of a factory omg and to top it off thier was a loud noise like pipes rumbling on the third floor maybe it was thier pool but I didn’t care I wanted my rest. This was not a resort I felt like I was in the city. Early check out is a must! I dont want to change rooms because when I pack up Im leaving. Oh and I almost forgot the gift shop was a complete joke over priced flea market items. Looking like a yard sale clothes all outside hanging on a rack on a floor for 10.00 seem like they dont sell at 70.00 dollars and this is where I invest my money into. Never again. They need to get it together.

Cue’s Billiards – Menu with Prices – 3354 Canton Rd #140, Marietta

Beer and pool. Pool is free with lunch Lunch is terrible. Only thing worse is dinner. I imagine the cook is either an 8 year old, or a blind homeless man who burnt his tastebuds off quite a while back. Only the finest of ingredients were purchased in the clearance / manager mark downs section of the save a lot. The crapshoot of bartenders is entertaining enough to become a regular. The roll of the dice to find out if you’ll have a cute one with good service but weak drinks or a ditzy one with horrible service and strong drinks, or a stoner that gets lost for long periods but forgets to add drinks in POS, and everything in between. Smoking inside- of course that sucks you know for your lungs and skin and such but great for attracting the kind of crowd you wanna party with, the kind you want to pull an all nighter with. It’s the kind of place you’re either desperate looking for or vehemently avoid, depending on your poison. If you’re the kind of person who takes pictures of there meal, or needs to post any Instagram shots for your followers , or want to pick up a clean attractive person, or have a quiet place to relax this is not your place. If you want to avoid the yuppies, the go-getters, the ITP rat racers, the social media narcissists, and the gimmicks- and just get drunk or party , or even just play pool with the plebs and the peons -this is your place

Beach City Provisions – Menu with Prices – 17851 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach

This place is cool. Their regular hours on a Saturday is 10am, but they also have a sign that says if their door is open, then they’re open. So it was before 10 and their door was open so I walked in. I purchased some snacks and a beer. They have a rule that any alcohol purchased must be consumed on the patio area. So instead of buying 2 beers I bought 1, lol. They also offer you free pretzels if you purchase any alcoholic beverages. Outside it looks like they sell other hot food and cinnamon rolls. The people here are really nice and it’s a chill spot to hangout at.

Jester Club Menu with Prices 7809 Jester Blvd, Austin

Nice shady park and popular pool. The playground is good for very young up to elementary school age kids. There is an old school wood and tire fort, zip line, swings, and other toys. The pool is very nice with a kid pool, main pool, and swim lanes for lap swimming. There are changing rooms/restrooms. Residents only, requires keyed access as there is a membership fee since the HOA doesn’t cover it.

Tibet Bowl & Sushi – Menu with Prices – 50 Main St, Salt Lake City

Sad to say this place is pretty terrible, i love nepalese food especially momo, unfortunately every component of the momo was bad, the dumpling shell was too thick and bread-y tasting, the meat filling had an offputting old tinge taste to it, and the sauce although it smelled excellent didnt have much flavor to it at all and was kinda creamy like tikka masala sauce or something, i didnt try the sushi but that should have been the red flag from the get go, sushi and nepalese food do not go together just like sushi and chinese food dont go together how do people not understand this!!!

American Legion – Menu with Prices – 1108 Bull St, Savannah

Absolutely disgusted by the service here this evening! As a Park Ave resident we come here quite often. We have been warned about terrible service but had never experienced it first hand until tonight! When we arrived at the door we were rudely told we needed to leave our drinks outside. This makes sense, as the Legion is outside of the designated drinking zone but a simple “hi you need to finish your drinks and leave them out here” would have been sufficient. I wish we had just stopped there and not gone in! We were carded inside (totally fine and legal obviously) but the bouncer was extremely rude, reiterating how young we all looked (all between the ages of 26-29) and basically wanting us to thank him for letting us in…we ordered drinks and went into the pool table area where the same bouncer asked me specifically for my ID. I kid you not, it had been maybe 5 minutes since I last showed him my ID, which by the way shows my address on Park Ave about 100 yds from the Legion. I was particularly mad at him for asking me again, but my friends thought it was such a ridiculous gesture that it must be a joke. I gave him my ID, he approved me AGAIN and we started a game of pool. At this point we had also purchased an order of fries from Betty Bombers next door which we frequent often and love! About 20 mins into our game, the same rude bouncer came in and asked us to turn down our music. We complied immediately and then he told us he didn’t like our attitudes and we needed to leave immediately. We were completely shocked! Of course it’s st pats and we had all been drinking but from the moment we stepped into the bar we did nothing that a normal bar goer wouldn’t do! As I said before, we come here all the time, and I left tonight infuriated and embarrassed that our out of town guests were treated so poorly for simply coming into a bar, listening to music, ordering food and drinks and playing pool. I would like to reiterate that no one in our group was even close to being out of hand, rude, etc. I’m still in shock really and I can promise you I will never ever ever be back!

Rumors Cabaret – Menu with Prices – 2306 Business Loop 70 E, Columbia

I wonder what’s preventing the owner of this place from including on his website the little fact that you can’t take alcohol into the strip club? Some ugly fat guy outside the bar pointed out for edification on Saturday night that “this side is the bar and this side is the strip club” as he waved to 2 separate entrances. The entrance to the bar had it’s door propped open making it easy to step in and take in the wonderful atmosphere of 4 brick walls and a little bity bar with but one drunk sitting at the bar. I turned around, walked back out and asked the little fat guy if you were suppose to buy your drinks in the bar and take them into the strip club and he responded in the negative. No drinks in the strip club. The wife and I were there together having just returned from L.A. and we can tell you from having been in clubs all across the country we never seen such a set-up as this mess was set to operate. We didn’t bother to go into the strip-club side, sans no drinks to enjoy ourselves with, thus depriving ourselves the opportunity of being asked to pay inside the door for admission. I don’t know if they do or not, but I wasn’t going to give them the pleasure of such a futile exercise in the event they did. But again, ownership obfuscates the issue and completely omits this information from their website. And the lot at 11 P.M. on a Saturday night wasn’t even half full. And that’s not saying much because the lot, like the bar, is a little bitty parking lot. What sealed the deal in my mind this was a low class establishment was there was a striper outside talking to friends and she was butt ugly too. Can’t imagine what waited inside but decided we’d seen enough.

Underground Niteclub – Menu with Prices – 274 Delaware Ave # 2, Buffalo

This place is awesome! The gay bartenders make great drinks that will sure to get you dancing by the middle of the night. I got a long island for about $8 but it was well worth it. It was a huge pint glass rather than the $8 small plastic cups in NYC. The card minimum is $10. So, drinks are relatively cheap and NOT watered down! =] woo hoo!! The bathrooms are separated between male & female but no one really cares to listen, I also see guys in the bathroom chatting it up or smoking in the girls bathroom. I think the 1st one is for guys and the 2nd room is for girls? Idn, I guess it might as well be unisex. I love going here for the “Radiation” parties which are goth & industrial themed nights. DJ ArcaTek plays goth, industrial, EBM, new wave, Harsh EBM, Indie Electro, and FuturePoP. I’ve never been here on a regular night so I can only assume there would be less straight people and maybe less gothy people on those nights. The gay guys are always eying my boyfriend so I have to keep watch on him. Also, another thing, for Radiation, there is NO COVER! =] Which is awesome cause in NYC goth parties can be anywhere from $8 – 15 plus coat check. Coat check here is FREE (inside the DJ booth there are hangers) which equals more $$ to spend on drinks!!! Dance floor is a little small but not many use it. Everyone is too busy getting drunk. There is also a pool table that is $1 to play. =] So if the night starts out kinda slow, you always could play a few games of pool while the alcohol seeps into your system. muhahahaha

Heart & Seoul Karaoke – Menu with Prices – 67 W 100 S, Salt Lake City

PARTY THROWERS BEWARE. I cant speak for the smaller rooms. But I can speak for the party room. 0 stars. The party room is “nice”. Spacious..but could use more party lights, a dimmer for the center light, and a spotlight over the bar top where food would be placed while throwing a party. (Complete darkness, couldn’t even see the food) carpets could also be renovated lol. They allow you to bring in food with a $50 clean up charge. But you are NOT ALLOWED TO BRING IN DRINKS (not even your personal water bottle.) They force you to purchase bottled water for $1.75 each, while carbonated drinks in cans/bottles are $2.75+ and with a party of 30. That charge quickly would add up. On top of the cleaning charge, and food purchased for the party. –They have a liquor license, but VERY scarce selection(just beer.) To my knowledge, it is illegal for them to not provide tap water while having a liquor license and while serving food. I, and all of my guests will report this to the BBB, and also file an official complaint. Hopefully this will resolve that problem for future customers of this place. For the Karaoke, mic’s are garbage. I can deal with speakers not being that great, but when we walked into the rooms our mic’s were on the last bar of battery and kept dipping in and out from the speaker and shutting off…now why would they give us the room without even checking the mics?. When they did finally change the battery, mic was still dipping in and out of the speaker and randomly shutting off. Garbage. We could not play music, sing, or even use the mic’s to host our party for the entire night. Now imagine throwing a party in complete silence with no source of entertainment? They’re response to this was, whenever all of the rooms are used, this problem in the party room occurs. So why even continue to rent the room out KNOWINGLY of the issues that it has before resolving them? The entire 3 hours of technical issues, even when they told us the mic and tablet couldn’t be moved from ONE spot in the entire room.. No way to do karaoke or even have a party. And they still wanted me to pay! They only offered to extend the time, but why would we do that when we had 3 hours of issues? I’d understand still needing to pay for the cleaning fee, but still not even giving a gift card or any type of compensation..and STILL wanting $$? This is all this place is: (money face emoji) Now for the customer service. Collins had a lot of great reviews. I even was happy when I walked into the place and saw he was working the night. Collins was great in the beginning, but was terrible under pressure with all of the issues. He was very passive aggressive. The type that he’ll say something politely to your face but in his head he’s cussing you out. Just a forced politeness. Dont even get me started on the girl. Her name was Isla or something that started with an I. My mother-in-law told me she was VERY rude to her, and whenever I spoke to her she always was clueless about anything, or gave off a look that I was bugging her while trying to get the issues resolved. Collins had even snapped at my face to only speak to him about the issues and waved his finger at me. Zach was nice in person while resolving the issues, but kind of a jerk on the phone. I called in many times for questions and information for the party and you could tell after the first 2 calls of rounds of questions he began to get irritated and wanted to just hurry and answer questions and hang up. They also ask what occasion it is for the party your throwing while making the reservation, which I said was a wedding reception, and that info was forgotten. Now for the pricing. They offer pay-per-person for a party under 30, or a set fee per hour price. From the start, I requested to pay-per-person because I had a party under 30. But the entire time they kept trying to charge me per hour instead of per-person. I told them at reservation, at walk in, and before payment I wanted per person, for them to chan

WinCo Foods – Menu with Prices – 2245 S El Camino Real, Oceanside

I went grocery shopping tonight and I also got a pack of beers. When I was checking out, I handed my ID just like your suppose to when buying alcohol. Everything checks out with the cashier she saw I was 26 by the way. But just because my wife was there the cashier asked for her ID. My wife told the cashier that she wasn’t 21 and she is also pregnant. The alcohol was for me and not for her. But the cashier refused to sell me the alcohol, even tho I was purchasing the alcohol for me not my wife obviously. I’m very disappointed in the employee that refused to sell me the alcohol. They have no business asking someones wife for their ID. For example if I was with my parents and my siblings and we are shopping for a party and we get food and beers for the adults. What are they going to ask for everyones ID that is there.

Jersey Mike’s Subs – Menu with Prices – 2001 W Worley St Suite 100, Columbia

The service was quick. They were helpful in letting us know what options we had and to understand the menu since it was our first time. There is a variety of cold subs and several hot subs, mostly cheese stake variety with the option for chicken. They also have a Reuben in the hot section. They serve Pepsi fountain drinks, Suzanne iced tea, sweet and unsweetened. They have bottled sports drink and Buble. They have bag chips ( kettle, sun chips and other varieties.)and awesome looking chocolate chip cookies as well as large brownies. The facility is brand new with nice restrooms. The workers keep the tables clean quickly between visitors. They have the mini size on cold subs (about 5 inches), all subs have regular and giant sizes. Regular is about 8-9 inches. They said the giant is twice the Regular size. The quickest and easiest way to enter the parking lot is north bound on Stadium. There is an entrance right next to Jersey Mike’s. If you come off the highway and are heading south on Stadium, make a quick u turn on Worley and you’ll see the entrance on the right. I am excited to try another sub soon!

Whiteys Pool Hall – Menu with Prices – 3764 Derbigny St, Metairie

Great place to play pool or just have drink and talk! The pool and drinks are very fair prices. But it’s not an upscale place. It’s a locals bar you can actually have a conversation and better your pool game. If your looking for a place to play pool on good tables without a bunch of people crowding you while having a drink this is a great place! Great pool on decent tables paid by the hour and cheap drinks and a juke box!
