Terrible parking here. Especially since they only have about 6 handicapped spots and they’re always almost always taken. It is quite the hike to get into where we have to be so it makes it even more frustrating when you have to walk almost and entire 1/4 of a mile to get where you’re going.

Miller’s Ale House – Columbus Easton – Menu with Prices – 3884 Morse Rd, Columbus

First time at this place. Went with a group of 6 other women for lunch. There was only about 4 other tables that had people at them. There was a lot of outdoor seating and there were several people out there. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE HANDICAPPED unless someone can drop you off at the front door! The front doors face east and just to the right(north) of the front door are THREE parking spaces for carry out plus 2 regular spaces. If you need to park in a handicap space, you have to park all the way at the other end of the building. My mother had to stop 3 times to rest before she got to the table, which was one table away from the north wall of the restaurant. So she had to walk the WHOLE length of the restaurant to be seated. If I sound a bit perturbed, it’s bc I AM! I saw the manager walk by and motioned him over and told him that I had a complaint about the handicapped spaces being at the opposite end of the restaurant. He said the City of Columbus was the one who chose where to put the handicapped spaces. Frankly, I don’t think the City would do that but he said they did. Will I be calling the City to register a complaint? You bet I will!! It’s terrible to have to watch your handicapped mother struggle to walk all that way!! It’s hard to believe that the 3 closest spots aren’t for the handicapped but for carry out orders. Now for the food. They have a daily special, Monday thru Friday, one for lunch and one for dinner. They also have a nice lunch menu with items that you can order any day, not just specific days. I ordered a half a flatbread & house salad combo which was only $5.99, which I thought was a great deal. The salad had lettuce, cheese, diced tomatoes, and purple onion. I had their spicy ranch which was not very spicy. The salad was decent. The flatbread had shrimp, andouille sausage, corn, scallions, and roasted red peppers. I opted to go for no red peppers bc they don’t like me. Everyone had received their food except me and our server said they had made mine w the red peppers and they caught it & were remaking it. I thought that reflected well on our server for catching it before he brought it out. They asked if I wanted my salad & I said yes (rather than sitting there with nothing while everyone else ate). I was about 1/2 way thru my salad when they finally did bring my 1/2 flatbread. I’m including pics of it. I thot the toppings were pretty skimpy. It tasted ok but I sure wouldn’t order it again. 3 people ordered the lunch fish & chips. 1 person loved it, 1 thot it was just ok &1 thot it tasted ok but was very greasy. 1 person received 3 pieces and the other 2 received 4 pieces but all pieces were about the same size. I could understand the 1 person only getting 3 if they were larger pieces but they weren’t. The service was just above average I’m not really sure if I would go here again. I had heard not great things about it but that didn’t deter me from going bc I like to make up my own mind. Gonna have to think about if they deserve my business. VERY Disappointed!

blank coffee | food – Menu with Prices – 600 S 21st St Suite 150, Colorado Springs

After a long hike, day at the dog park or excursion on the west end, I really love popping into Blank. I’m not trying to throw shade at other coffee spots, but it’s refreshing to finally walk into a well designed space. They even have charging outlets at nearly every table so I come often with friends to get work done. And whenever my friends visit from Denver or NYC, this is the place that makes the Springs look a bit less lame, while having damn good coffee. Oat milk is where it’s at! Someone said their new outdoor seating is dog friendly, so I’m excited to take advantage of that. Coffee with your pups and some Mountain views. What could be better? Anyway, highly recommend!

Bent Creek Bistro Menu with Prices 100 Frederick Law Olmsted Way, Asheville

My gal, our dog and I have been here twice so far this summer. We start out in mid-morning with a good 3 mile walk/hike, arrive for lunch around 1pm, eat outside and then check out the exhibits in the afternoon. Having this lovely food option right on campus allows us to spend all our time surrounded by all the Arboretum has to offer. So far we have had the local version of the ruben, portobello mushroom sandwich, brisket plate and an incredible watermelon cold soup. Once one orders at the indoor walk-up window, your food will be delivered to your table. The staff works hard especially cooking in the summer heat. Heading back today (8/27) to explore more of their menu.

Sourdough and Co Broadway – Menu with Prices – 1601 Broadway # 200, Sacramento

The sourdough bread makes the sandwich! Delicious! Outdoor seating on Broadway is shady & cool. Indoor seating nice & cool too. Parking your vehicle can be a challenge. Parking lot has very limited spots. The parking lot is shared with Noah’s Bagels and Chipotle patrons. Parking in the street is limited. The area can get congested with Willie’s Burgers & Chase Bank next door and being near a very busy intersection- Broadway & 16th /Land Park. Tip: If you live in the neighborhood, walk! Or park down the street and walk. Tip: Take home a hot Sourdough & Co baguette. You can take and bake a baguette at home but why heat up your house during these 100% plus summer days.

Taqueria Maravatio – Menu with Prices – 2618 W 59th St, Chicago

i honestly used to come here all the time their food is delicious but i must say, lately the service has been horrible. the girls there waitress and cashier have horrible attitudes. i understand we are human and sometimes we all have those bad days. but if youre going to work in a field in which you need to be a people person and have good customer service skills, you need to be able to put on a happy face when greeting a customer and serving them appropriately. not once did these girls come to our table to see if we needed anything. not once did they ask how our service was or our food. we had to get up 3 times walk to them to get something we needed utensils, a cup and our to go container. it also seemed as if they were rushing us out. when i got up to get a cup she handed me my receipt and total.. uummmm we werent done eating and she wanted me to pay already. they were speaking pretty loud to each other it was obvious they were speaking about us because they were cursing! so unprofessional. i honestly felt horrible because i took a friend with me and on the way i was telling her it was one of my favorite spots. we will not be returning. due to their unprofessional services and how disrespectful they were to us! i hope this review helps them realize they need to be equal to everyone when servicing them. polite and professional. instead of stocking the soda and cleaning out the coffee machine take a few minutes to walk to yiur customers table and ask how their food is. is there anything they need. and if there is something you didnt like about your customers save it until they are out the door. it makes you and the business look horrible.

SB Sunshine Cafe – Menu with Prices – 3514 State St, Santa Barbara

Ate there on 10-8-19, nice enough staff but the food was lousy. We were doing a hike afterwards and it was one of those things where we just joked and laughed about how bad the food was during most of the hike. We split a couple dishes, I order a stack of pancakes, the misses have huevos rancheros. The pancakes were terrible, the butter was weird and had no taste. What was weird was when I got to the bottom of the little butter holder they served me, it had some kind of weird gritty substance in the bottom of it, I guess (maybe) that’s how it gets when it got hot or cold or turned into due to where they had it stored. With the huevos the potatoes were bland, the whole dish had no flavor, overall it was a terrible experience. I tried to change my pancake order to blueberry pancakes but they had started it already so the waiter asked if i wanted some blueberries on top, I said sure. It turns out the guy charged me $3 for about 10 berries randomly scattered across the top of the pancakes, pretty crooked, it’s a nice hustle though, I guess. The sad part was that the berries were sour as were the orange slices that came with the dishes, I guess I shouldn’t be shocked given how bad the rest of the meal was. We won’t be back, it’s all good, there are lots of great reviews on here, I guess we got ‘punked’ by the kitchen staff because with the way our meal was, there clearly was no effort put into it, lesson learned!

Broiler Bay Hamburgers Menu with Prices 10636 Main St, Bellevue

I must admit I can not comment on the quality of food because the employee working chased us out the door before we could enter. With ZERO customers in the restaurant and every parking space open- including neighboring business spots, I was rudely confronted by the young employee and instructed to move my car to another lot, or to park again because it was taking up two spots. Once again, not a single customer at 4PM on a Monday and this employee was adamant to keep it that way. A note to the business owner, your employees should not chase away business before they walk in the door. You just missed out on a large order- burgers for an entire sports team. We will never visit this establishment again. Positive food reviews will not compensate for HORRIBLE customer service. Instead we took our business to an establishment that had TWO placards stating how important an experience is to a customer.

Prime Chophouse & Lounge Menu with Prices 9181 Town Square Blvd #1311, Amarillo

If you haven’t yet made your way to Prime, I can’t imagine you have an acceptable excuse. This place is amazing. Let’s start with the ambiance. Makes me feel like I am out of town. Because I love Amarillo, I suppose I should qualify this statement. We have all vacationed to that spot, with those people we love, where the weather is better, and the entire scene just feels impossible to replicate. You know what I am talking about. It makes me feel like that. Next let’s talk kitchen and staff. I grew up playing football and baseball, but I can spot a ballet a mile away. This team dances without stepping on one another’s toes, and the chef must do that “1,2,3,4 1!,2,34” cadence thing they did on the show Fame. Seems as if they have practiced together for years. While no one in reality is walking around on the tips of their toes, it truly is some kind of dance. Finally, the food. My wife and I have almost tried every item in the menu. Desserts and Apps included. We keep eagerly returning trying to find that one thing the chef doesn’t do well, but the strike outs keep adding up. K K K K K K K K. If great meals are strike outs, this guy is pitching a no hitter. Can’t say that about many spots in Amarillo. Kudos to this team, and thanks for blessing Amarillo.

Karmic Grounds – Menu with Prices – 3033 Ohio Dr Suite 1000, Frisco

Parking lot situation is a big mess. The last thing I want to do when I want to drop in for coffee is worry about if the small number of reserved spots will be taken up or not. If you’re thinking about dropping by during prime coffee drinking time, be ready to circle the parking lot a few times or park far away and walk. The person taking my order seemed agitated and annoyed to answer my questions about pricing. Definitely needs some better customer service training. As a small business owner myself, I always start with five stars and subtract for infractions. Minus one stars for terrible parking. Not an issue if you live around the place, but for people who need to park, expect to circle around a few times unless you go during off peak hours. Minus one star for value. The drinks are extremely overpriced for what they are. For $7, they need to step up their service. Minus one star for bad service. It’s a normal thing for customers to ask questions. No need to roll your eyes at me. Minus one star for quality. The coffee tasted absolutely awful. I tend to be easier on this kind of stuff as I worked as a barista all through college and I know how things get when its busy. However, this was unacceptable. This barista either had no idea what they were doing or just didn’t care. Definitely don’t see myself returning to this place any time soon. The decor is nice at first but I’m not here for the decor. Terrible parking, bad coffee, and bad service equals a one star rating. They may get their act together eventually, but there are plenty of other coffee shops that give you a better experience.

Fusion Lounge – Menu with Prices – 6915 Dixie Rd #4, Mississauga

My boyfriend & I have been regulars at fusion for quite sometime now, the staff is amazing. The service is even better. Ive been to the other sisha lounge in brampton just to see the difference and fusion was by far a better option, heck we left after 30 minutes & went to fusion instead. I was there about 2 weeks ago now & when we went to get up and pay I literally fainted and fell to the ground. The staff was awesome, the owner sat with me ans explained that it was ok and its happened before because of course I was embrassed. As soon as I woke up theyre was a pop in my face and the owner did not let us leave until he felt like I would be okay and I just wanted to give a huge thank you to the owner and the staff at fusion lounge for theyre outstanding service everytime. This is always my go to spot to hang out with friends. 10/10 recommended

Renaissance Asheville Hotel Menu with Prices 31 Woodfin St, Asheville

I loved the location of this hotel and that they allowed our pet to join us! It was easy to walk into downtown and there was a nice area to walk your pet. The decor was very modern and our room was clean. We had a nice view from our room and enjoyed having nice big windows. Go up to the top floor for an even better view. There is a nice outside patio seating that the hotel offers as well! The bed wasn’t comfortable for my husband and I. It was very soft and the mattress slept hot. It was also hard to regulate the temperature in our room. The bathroom was decent and had a good shower. The shower curtain was dirty and the toilet sprays water out when flushed. Also the toilet itself was old. We didn’t have very good hot water one day. The bathroom also had a sliding door that doesn’t offer a lot of privacy. There is ample parking here but some spaces require a hike. I didn’t mind that so much because it was nice to have free parking! I had pleasant experiences with the staff I interacted with.

PARADISE KITCHEN – Menu with Prices – 918 N Alma School Rd, Chandler

TERRIBLE I MEAN TERRIBLE FOOD EXPERIENCE Ordered Crab, Shrimp & Pineapple FRIED rice and I received An EXTREMELY SOUPY and OILY entree that messed up my entire night after looking forward to enjoying a great meal my whole idea had been crushed. Not only that but My Partner In Crime ordered Crab and Shrimp Pad Thai which was also extremely Oily and Soupy. We were extremely unpleased with the food and I mean I will say that there desserts were ok but not GOOD nor GREAT. It’s extremely FRUSTRATING because my HARD earned money went to waste. I had hoped for something decent and got a very bad experience. Do not go here with your HOPES up HIGH. When I called to complain the manager well the lady that claimed she was the manager didn’t offer to make things right at all and seemed unbothered. I’m someone who is not hard to please but also will speak when unpleased. It is SAFE to say IM very UNPLEASED. I mean this is something that not only will lose my business but will keep business away because I pride myself in spreading the word about places many others could potentially enjoy. 1 star because I had to.
