After we ordered and waited for our food an employee changed the food grade sign in the window from an A to a B. Huh. Welp, too late now. Lots of options here, though it felt like more of a to-go sort of place than one I’d usually want to hang out for any long period of time in. The one guy working the register would shout back through a tiny window to the kitchen to ask questions that we asked him. The food we got was good and they had some nice options for us that fit within our Whole 30 plan. The juice drink I had was outstanding. The bathrooms were a mess, no toilet paper, no paper towels, good thing I didn’t need one of those. When I went out to tell the guy who helped us I couldn’t find him and the place isn’t any bigger than my living room. So that was weird. We ate and left. No need to go back, but nothing was bad. Some of it was good! None of it was great (except that juice!).

Pure Water Ice & Tea Company – Menu with Prices – 404 Frankford Ave, Lubbock

I have been very disappointed in the upkeep of this location in the last month or two. Numerous times Iâ??ve visited and counters are dirty. The worst has been the bathroom. Have been in on more than one occasion that the toilet is disgusting. Thereâ??s been no soap and/or paper towels. Dead roaches on the floor. And today when my daughter went in there was no toilet paper to use; there were napkins though, so Iâ??ll at least give an â??Aâ?? for effort. I feel that what the public areas of a business look like show a lot about how they likely care about the back. Iâ??d really like to start seeing some improvement on the cleanliness or we will take our business elsewhere.

John’s Incredible Pizza – Modesto – Menu with Prices – 2225 Plaza Pkwy, Modesto

This place is over rated!!! We walk in & they have nothing made besides BBQ & Nacho pizza & what kid wants nacho pizza which is basically slices of jalapeños? Not mine. They didn’t even have breadsticks it was that lacking!!! The room we sat in looked like they didn’t have any body working because the whole time we were there almost every table was empty but full of empty plates/cups. We then go to the games & that’s even a bigger joke!!! Half the stuff is OUT OF ORDER or they all take your credits but don’t let you play! We scanned 3 different bowling lanes & it took out credits but didn’t let us play & it was 8 credits each time!!! We went for someone to help but it was a dead zone. Like they had a skeleton crew. 1 girl working everything it seemed. Needless to say NOBODY came to help us when we talked to an employee about several of the machines ripping us off. We waited 10minutes at the bowling area for someone before we gave up. I had gone & asked for help 3 times while waiting. This was by far the worst experience we have had at John’s! Oh lastly the women’s bathroom was atrocious! Couldn’t flush the large stalls toilet, there was toilet paper all over except where it should be in the toilet paper holders, the baby changer had crap all over it so it couldn’t even be used. This place was a hot mess!!!!! I don’t think we will be back. We might take our chances at Chuck E Cheese next time!!!!

Aria Hookah Lounge – Menu with Prices – 438 Main St #100, Huntington Beach

I wouldn’t come back here again. The meh: – The server was nice. – The tea was okay. – Only charged me for a refill when I had to switch tobacco flavors. The bad: Service was very slow and it never really got too busy. I only received one coal change for the first bowl. 2 for the second one. The restroom didn’t have paper towels and at no point were they restocked. There was an extra roll of toilet paper I guess for everyone to dry their hands. They ran out of mint so I had to switch flavors all together (I hate sweet, so my options were pretty non-existent). I asked for honey for my tea. I was given a large jar of honey with no lid instead of a dish or bowl. The jar of honey stayed on the table until we left. Ash from the hookahs being blown out definitely made it into the jar… and this place will probably hand it to someone like that again. Overall, it’s not the cleanest place to be.

Juicelation – Menu with Prices – 4947 Tamiami Trail N #104, Naples

I was told about this place by a friend after starting I wish Naples had more raw juice/food options. I had no idea Juicelation was even open or where it was. It’s easy to find, right off of 41, so I do pass other places from where I live to get here. Because of this I thought to myself “man this better be really great.” & it was..really good. It was quiet when I walked in and I really just got the impression it was more of a “grab your juice and go” kind of place, I didn’t feel warm & invited to stay and enjoy my drink. It’s small & clean & there are places to sit but when I walked in I didn’t see anyone, I walked a little and there is a window to order your juice(s) and that’s when I was greeted. I looked at the menu, asked for recommendations & went with the “King’s Juice” with less apple and extra lemon. It was delicious, I also had a shot of ginger & turmeric. There is a cooler where there are premade juices you can grab and go which is also convenient. I did mention to the employee the hours on google maps & the door varied but I don’t think they showed much interest. If this place was closer I would go more often. The juice is fresh & they have the right idea of what we need more of in naples. ?

Frosty King Menu with Prices 10117 Rosedale Hwy, Bakersfield

This has one star because I could not give it a zero. I stopped by this place this afternoon because I was in that neighborhood and I had never eaten there before and I heard they used to have wonderful barbecue (they don’t have that anymore). While I waited for my order I went to use the restroom. I’ve never been so disgusted in my life. There was urine all over the floor, there was feces on the toilet seat, there was no soap and no towels. There was dust on everything; the top of the toilet, the top of the empty towel dispenser, and even on the sink. There was literally yellow urine all over the floor it was covered with dirty wads of toilet paper which I guess people have used to dry their hands. And it was absolutely filthy. I doubt it had ever been swept much less mopped. All I could think about was if this is the restroom that these people use I do not want to eat the food that I’m going to go back in and get because they can’t even wash their hands with soap. I went in and I told them that and she said “Oh well we don’t use that bathroom” and I said “well I suggest you go and look at it because it’s the most filthy disgusting thing I’ve ever seen. I’m supposed to eat lunch now without even being able to wash my hands after going to the bathroom in that filthy place.” She apologized and said she would go and look at it. So I took my food and I left. When I opened the bag there was a small hamburger with cheese and tomatoes on it when I had specifically requested no cheese and tomatoes, and the meet was very rare. Rare hamburger is not good for you and also was disgusting looking. So I paid nine dollars and something for a few boring French fries and a Pepsi. I will never never never come back to this place and I hope none of you do either. The health department should go out there. I don’t know if their kitchen looks like their bathroom did but if it does I couldn’t even eat the food. I drink my Pepsi and I’m headed somewhere else for lunch.

Compass Cove ® Myrtle Beach Resort – Menu with Prices – 2311 S Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. My husband and I stay for a week in the Pinnacle building room 660. I can’t speak for the other buildings but this one was clean, updated and convenient. I had read reviews before our trip but we did not experience anything negative. Check in was quick and even allowed us to check in early, thanks to Chris at the desk. (it may have helped that we arrived on a Friday) Our room was clean and the king bed was surprisingly very comfortable. Housekeeping came and inquired every day but Sunday. Trash was removed, toilet paper given, clean towels available and the requested blanket for the bed was received in a timely manner. Elevators (always working) and ice maker were right by our door and was a little worried about noise but it was never an issue. My husband was lucky every day once returning from playing golf and found a convenient parking spot adjacent to our building. I enjoyed the indoor pool, located in my same building each morning. It was always clean and towels seem to be replenished around 9:00 a.m. each day. Should we find ourselves coming back to Myrtle, we would definitely include Compass Cove in our choices.

Las Tapatias Mexican Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 4029 Melrose Ave NW, Roanoke

Used to love this place, however today was not good. The beer was good and the server gave us napkins which was great! However the food was not. We had tostadas de ceviche with shrimp (which is usually delicious) today the shrimp was dry and hard. I couldn’t take more than a few bites the shrimp was so bad. We got a sausage cheese dip and some steak/sausage tacos and the sausage was burnt in both dishes. They must have been super busy today because there was no toilet paper or paper towels. I hope this is not a trend. Never had a bad meal here before today and was one of my first choices in Salem to eat! I will update my review if things improve.

LOS TACOS DOÑA MARIA Menu with Prices 1223 Roberts Ln, Bakersfield

This place is hit and miss. I usually come through to order asada burritos, you’d think they’d be consistent. Nope. Sometimes they are like the burrito gods from heaven filled and rolled them. Perfect portions, no grease, wrapped perfectly, meat is delicious, beans are amazing, not too much beans, right amount of rice, no gross chucks of fat to contend with on the meat. Then there are days when they are okay … beans are a bit bland, a bit too much beans compared to other portions, but at least no fat chucks, and no grease. Then there are the days when I’m like, “WHY THE HECK DO I EAT AT THIS PLACE?!” The orange grease is already pooling in the plastic take out bag, I wipe it off with the few napkins they provide, thankful I’m at home and have a gob of paper towels to continue to wipe the grease away from the rest of the outside of the now stained with nasty grease burrito … but I’m usually STARVING, so I take the soaked paper they’ve wrapped it in off, wrapped it double with paper towels, and hope for the best … NOPE, grease starts out the inside of the burrito, dripping down my chin onto my clothing or onto the paper towels I’ve prepared my lap with. I’m grossed out by the orange disgusting fluid, dab dab dabbing away, but starving – so I eat the concoction inside, the mess of rice, beans and greasy meat along with soggy tortilla until I get to the bottom where the tortilla can no longer hold itself together, and I’m just over it, so I dump the insides into a bowl for my dog and throw the gross orange tainted tortilla into the trash. I really should consider just driving a little further … but like I said, some days it’s like heaven, and I guess I like playing Russian Roulette with my burritos.

Luna Juice Bar – Menu with Prices – 1516 Austin Ave, Waco

This place is okay… incredibly overpriced for what they serve. I really wanted to LOVE it because I hear so many people rave about it, but it was just kind of “meh” I got the avocado toast without the cheese and it was pretty tasty and on the cheaper side. I would honestly go back for just that alone. I also got a premade drink in the cooler, it was kinda orange juice tasting with other flavors. It was okay, kinda small and like $4 for that tiny thing. I wanted to get a fresh made juice but could not justify the $7+ on top of what I was already spending. Lol.. my meal was $9 and some change for just a snack and a drink. The new building they are in is also soooo tiny. Thankfully I went on a random week day in the middle of the day, because I heard it gets crowded. Also, the woman who took our order was less than pleasant. She had an attitude and when I asked her if the salads were premade, she acted as if I was the biggest inconvenience to her life despite being the only person in line. She didn’t smile once, and she kinda just set our plates down really hard when she served it to us. Nothing was said either. And we didn’t get napkins other than the ones that come in the package that are as thin as one ply toilet paper. I did want to go back to try a fresh juice, but I’ll have to be convinced pretty hard just because of the terrible service.

Lolas Restaurant Menu with Prices 1061 Mettler Frontage Rd W, Bakersfield

The most unexpected gem ever: fresh, delicious Mexican food, cooked and served by two kindly abuelitas in the most run-down, depressing Valero gas station and store you ever saw. PROS: Fresh, spicy salsa, home-made chips and tortillas, and lean tender beef in the burritos. (I had shredded beef; mi amiga had carne asada—-we each pronounced our food excellent.). Reasonable prices and they do accept credit cards. CONS: Only Mexican beers and crappy American beers on sale in the store. NO TOILET PAPER OR PAPER TOWELS IN THE FILTHY RESTROOMS. But definitely a rustic and delicious experience! Joe Bob says check it out if you ever find yourself in this remote neck o’ the woods.

Wake Technical Community College – Menu with Prices – 9101 Fayetteville Rd, Raleigh

very annoying my spouse went in there 3 times for nothing. she just wanted general information regardinging certification classes. first time she went in there they said they needed her transcripts to he able to speak to somone like an advisor. second time they made her do an application and asked for more information she didnt have with her, why they didnt tell her in the first place is beyond me. third time she sits down with an advisor and they gave her price for a classes but couldnt give her details regarding the programs. throughout this whole process multiple people approached her as though they were selling off of commission. the advisor couldnt even tell her if the courses are for preparation for the certification, do get a certification with these courses and if they even offer the certification test? waste of time. period. and fyi if your going to have advisors and staff trying to sell students atleast have a better process as well as make sure they are prepared with information when questions are asked. Lastly, after all of this can you believe they enrolled her classes! the bs. i swear. not even telling her they enrolled her in classes for an associate’s program when she had informed everyone along the way that she has already graduated with a BBA. cant believe this.

Fresh Smoothies & Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2450 Creston Ave, The Bronx

I would like to think it was because I came in 15 min to closing but that shouldnt change the attitude that you have towards the customer. I walked in and the ladies were talking they looked at me and continued talking. Very disrespectful didnt get greeted or anything, so I said excuse me and asked for what I wanted. Then I told her ill buy an orange juice aswell only for the simple fact that I wanted to see the machine working she stated that the machine is off and the juice was premade that defeated the purpose of wanting the juice so I didnt get it, but They have a lil process that’s done to meet customers satisfaction they serve you an ounce or 2 of w.e. smoothie you ordered to taste for perfection incase you want to add anything or change anything but as I get my sample the lady started to pour it in the cup, didnt wait for my opinion. It wasnt as cold as I would have wanted it to be but didnt wanna start anything I just said it was fine. The one moping gets mad because my boots were dirty she told me to stand by the door and the other lady tells me to come over to the cashier to pay and the one mopping gets mad. I just think for a first time experience on a Friday night it should have been a little better.. I’ll come again another time maybe I’ll change my rating but as of now very disappointed
