The counter girl was friendly but the other male guy working the counter was a real prick. After paying for my coffee and donuts (and tipping, which turned out to be a mistake I wont repeat if I ever return) I got to the creamer counter and the half and half was out. So I bring the canister up to the counter and Mr. Prick made it very clear he did not give a shit about me and put me off with an annoyed, “Hold on.” I waited a few minutes for him to acknowledge my presence and then gave him the creamer canister. He screwed open the lid, looked inside, rolled his eyes, looked at me and goes, “Um there’s creamer in here.” As if I am the biggest idiot on the planet. I peered inside and THERE WAS MAYBE ENOUGH CREAMER TO COVER THE BOTTOM OF THE CANISTER. THAT’S IT. That .still qualifies as out/empty/in need of a refill/whatever you want to call it. And for him to bitchily point this back in my face like I’m the asshole! So he wasted my time on a work morning and then gave me attitude. At this point I was done having anything more to do with him so I snatched back the creamer and sarcastically told him, “Thank you SO much for your help, that totally solves my problem,” and sloshed whatever was left of the creamer at, not in, my coffee. Some of it even made it in my cup, but most of it spilled all over the counter.

The Dapper Doughnut – Central Dallas – Menu with Prices – 13350 Dallas Pkwy #500, Dallas

I work at the Juice Zone right next so I went ahead and stopped by just to try the coffee from Dapper Donuts. I typically get their Nutella dream but I was eating so many I had to refrain from it and stop getting them :(. Anyways, I’m the type of individual who loves creamer and sugar but I took a sip just to see how the coffee was without it and IT WAS AMAZING. I’ve never drunk coffee without sugar or creamer but I gulped down this cup. It was amazing. Tasted better than any coffee I’ve ever tried. Recommend 100%. The owner is also a really nice guy and he has a big heart for customers from what I’ve learned speaking to him. If you’re craving donuts this location is amazinggggggg!

D’s Doughnuts – Menu with Prices – 4300 Green River Rd, Corona

Weak. The other day went in for a coffee, noticed the coffee tasted burnt and noticed two coffee pots on the burners, one full and one close to empty. Asked her which one she gave and she said the empty pot. Told her that it was burnt and would appreciate it if I get coffee from the fresh pot, she gave me a huff and puff, rolled her eyes and gave me a fresh cup. On other occasions I’ve seen her dump the stale coffee pot into the freh pot. Cheap ass. Never going back again, should have stuck to dunkin donuts.

Peach’s Restaurant – Bee Ridge – Menu with Prices – 4292 Bee Ridge Rd, Sarasota

My companion and I stopped here on the recommendation of some friends. It was mid morning and it was not very busy inside. We were seated in a table in the center of the room and after that we were basically forgotten. Our server seemed very rushed and impatient for our order. He checked on us one other time after that. I was given one cup of coffee and never asked for a refill, my Eggs Benedict were served withe the yolks nearly solid and the Hollandaise sauce was so bitter I could only eat one. My friend and I timed this next one. He sat his empty drink glass on the edge of the table. It sat there for 11 minutes before another server noticed it. She said she would be right back with his tea. It didn’t happen. Our server finally brought his refill with our check. I mentioned this to the hostess/cashier and she seemed as if she could care less. P.S. We have had better experiences at Waffle House ?

Caffe Umbria – Menu with Prices – 710 SW Madison St, Portland

I’ve had coffee here before and it’s pretty good. But, there are lots of options for coffee in Portland. Service is what sets them apart. I came in today for a short latte. I stood at the counter waiting for service. I wasn’t sure if I was standing in the right spot because none the 3 employees would assist me. There was only one other couple at the end of the counter buying bulk coffee. I stood in front of the espresso machine and looked the woman in the eye. I leaned forward trying to make eye contact. She looked to the left of me. She looked to the right of me. She looked above me. Another employee came in from the back. She made herself very busy for an empty coffee shop. I looked to her and she looked everywhere but at me. She rushed away to clear a couple of tables. I looked at my son and asked if he could see me thinking I had become invisible. He confirmed he could see me. I smelled my armpits and I think I was doing OK. I checked my nose and nothing was dripping. I leaned forward again right in front of the employee and she made herself very busy cleaning the espresso machine. Finally, I grabbed my son’s hand and walked out into the cold. I realize we all miss the obvious, but like I said there are a lot of places to buy coffee in Portland. I suggest wearing safety orange or chartreuse if you head into this place. Maybe start disrobing or singing off tune and you might get service.

Krazy Buffet – Menu with Prices – 8095 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas

The food is not WONDERFUL but for the price $10/adult it is not bad. Plus you get to have a little bit of everything including dessert. The only thing I hate is service here. Yeah I get it’s a buffet and it’s self serving restaurant but at least keep up with refilling my water!! This happens ALL THE TIME! I’ve came so many times and yet, they always fail to refill water. I have to wave at them to get their attention from just standing there talking to their co workers. Last time I came, the lady gave us our check when we were in the MIDDLE of eating our dinner. We were not even close to being done but we gave her the card anyway. She took the check and gave us the receipt. We always leave cash for tip so my husband just signed the receipt without tipping on his card. The lady comes back quickly to take the check and pauses as she saw that he didn’t leave any tip and looked at him. From that awkward pause, my husband looked at the server and told her that we will leave cash tip. After that, she literally stood so close to our table and stared at us until we left… I made eye contacts with her so many times from how much she was staring down at us… she was so quick about the check but why did she not feel the need to refill the drinks?! It was completely empty lol. I kept on pouring my OWN water to my husbands cup who drinks more than I do.. If it was me, I wouldn’t have left much tip but my husband left her 20% tip. Of course as soon as we stood up to leave, she came by to pick up the cash. I don’t think she deserved it though.. she didn’t do anything but to make us feel like we need to leave the restaurant ASAP lol

America’s Cup Coffee Shop Menu with Prices 2627 S Harbor Loop Dr, Bellingham

I was looking for a cup of coffee in the afternoon, and was relieved to find “America’s Cup” coffee shop, in plenty of time before they were due to close–it was 3:35 pm and they were closing at 4 pm, so almost half an hour from closing. I asked the girl behind the counter for coffee, and she just shrugged and said their coffee was all out, and it was too late to make any more. She pointed over at the empty coffee maker, and it was not even a large commercial device, in was just a cheap, 10-cup Mr. Coffee style drip machine. I pleaded, “But you’re a coffee shop!!”. “Too late, I’d have to make a pot, then I’d have to clean out the coffee maker again.”, she replied. Wow, okay. (Fortunately, I headed a couple doors down to Nicki’s restaurant for good coffee good service.) A morning shortly after that, since it was the only coffee shop within literally a mile and I was stuck on the dock, I grudgingly went back there to get my morning brew. The guy behind the counter (owner, I believe) said that he was just about to make a fresh pot. Okay, great! I thought, fresh coffee, five minutes, no problem! I was stunned when within just one minute he already handed me my large coffee, and I glanced over at the Mr. Coffee, and sure enough, it was still percolating through. He had poured for me the very first amount that had dripped through, so what he handed me basically was a 16 ounce expresso which was totally undrinkable (and I like strong coffee) and he also ruined the rest of the pot since most of the flavor (and caffeine) are extracted in the first half of the extraction, leaving the second half of the pot as a weak, pale brown water with little flavor (or caffeine) for the next customer. The name implies that this is a coffee shop, but it is not. Morning or afternoon, coffee or not, it does come with an attitude.

Taco Del Mar Menu with Prices 2258 E Gowen Rd, Boise

Stopped for lunch two days ago. What a mistake. Ordered a taco/enchilada platter. I noticed the rice container was nearly empty and the rice on the bottom looked burned. I said something to the young guy preparing my plate. He said “oh, we have more rice” as he scraped the bottom of the pan to put a spoonful on my plate. I also noticed the pinto bean container was nearly empty and the remaining beans looked burned. I opted for the refried beans. As he continued making my plate, the taco looked just like the enchilada. I asked the young guy (who was sleeping his way through the preparation) what the difference in a taco and enchilada was. “Oh, I put red sauce on it”. Never mind I said and just took the plate as is. My first bite of rice crunched on my teeth. I thought of going back and asking for fresh rice, but during the plate preparation, the owner/manager stood behind the young guy rolling her eyes as she overheard my concerns. I figured it was my loss. I noticed the owner weighing out the chips for anyone ordering chips and salsa. A side of rice/beans is the same price as a small bag of chips. Who weighs chips (which are an inexpensive side)? The final straw is when I went to the drink machine for a refill. The young guy and female owner were standing/walking on a wet dirty floor as they continued serving customers. Something was either leaking or had spilled and neither stopped to clean it up. I about chucked up my rock hard rice. Needless to say, I’ll never be back. Lousy food, high prices, dirty environment. Ada County Health Department needs to pay them a visit.

Fresh n More Menu with Prices 600 100th Ave NE, Bellevue

I’m being generous because this is the first review. There is a conference at the Hyatt with 1500+ attendees and the conference includes no food. We are using meeting rooms on 1st, 2nd, 3rd floors and moving between these floors all day from 8a to 615pm. This is a captive audience and the conference runs from Fri-Mon with half or more of us also meeting Thurs. that is 5 days, 2 meals per day, 1500 people. Why would you NOT refill your buffet pans?!?? Do you know how much business you lost? I asked 2 different workers (I think they are the owners) if food was coming. They told me to use the salad bar. I don’t want salad. I want the hot buffet. Literally over half the trays were completely empty. Half of the remaining ones with food were nearly empty so these 2 kept pushing the plateful If food in these trays into a tiny pile in the middle of the tray. We don’t want a tiny mound of cabbage and gravy when it is marked Mongolian beef!!! Anyway, I waited 15 min while they kept topping off the cheap stuff like lettuce. I had already scooped brown rice into my container but there was nothing to eat with it. I finally took one of the 3 spring rolls remaining and one dried out fried dumpling, one piece of chicken teriyaki. That cost me $9+ and most of the weight was rice that I couldn’t eat. Really isn’t 3 stars but it’s a small business and I want them to realize they are not doing themselves any favors by not putting food out for us to buy. Lots of people looked at the empty trays and walked across to Needs. I should have done the same.

Thai Table Time – Menu with Prices – 1910 Oceanside Blvd, Oceanside

After a long two days taking the kids to legoland and shopping wife and I wanted to eat some Thai food. We looked around to see what might be a good place to eat on the way back home and found this hidden gem located in this small little shopping plaza. When we arrived we were treated by a gentlemen named Greg! To be honest this guy probably has the best service I have ever been to. Even at these Michelin Star restaurants. Ordered a couple dishes pad see ew, beef jerky, Tom yum soup, and pad prick khing. All dishes was phenomenal and so tasty. But when it came down to pad prick khing you get to choose your spicy level. A lot of places I went to always let’s me down when I ask for the spicy they can make it. But when I asked Greg to make a spicy he was like, “I got you, I’ll make it a level 15. Just the way my mom makes it for me. Now this dish would be made by someone that knows how to cook. (His mom).” When the dishes came out my mouth started drooling none stop. The food looked so amazing (refer to pictures attached). The taste looks just like the photo. This is going to be my main go to place before or after I come back from San Diego area. I have made a new friend Greg which I will support from here on out. Please please please come here to try this place out and give it a try. You will leave with a happy and full stomach.

Pho Viet Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 2011 Devine St, Columbia

Passing through with my family of 5 kids and two adults.. asked for 4 kids sweet tea and 1 kid coke which we received in styrofoam cups-half full and no ice.. hmm ok.. maybe because the tea was cool already because it was kept in the refrigerator? But the coke- draft and half full with no ice… ok that was fine.. kids didn’t complain.. We asked if there was a house special that they offered which is what we were used to at the Vietnamese restaurants in our town.. immediately she gave us a look and said “no. No house special”.. uh ok..? We weren’t asking for a discounted house price.. Then we proceeded to ask her if they serve fried crispy tofu separately. Then pointed to the number on the menu.. I then looked at her and asked her if the tofu were crispy and she responded “yes, but well together.” Ok so I placed an order for one.. received it and definitely wasn’t crispy fried but more of pan seared… Ordered pho for myself and kiddos.. flavor was bland and not much of a kick to the broth other than beef based (maybe because I’m a foodie..? And love food..?) husband had a platter that consisted of bbq pork, rice, shrimp.. he ate he pork but nothing else.. had to ask for more refill.. a young man gave us a refill with ice and a full cup, a female server refilled one cup half full still with no ice..overall visit was just not an experience that will make us want to come back. I’m a good tipper considering my kids are well behaved when we go Out to eat and does not mess much but it just wasn’t welcoming nor was the service impressive. Positive note: fresh spring rolls were delicious!

Country Boys Drive In – Menu with Prices – 2648 E Fremont St, Stockton

We weren’t sure what to expect from this small drive in. The interior is clean especially considering the age of the building. Music is loud enough to provide good ambience but not so loud as to be obtrusive. Staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is excellent. We had a Philly cheese steak omelette with English muffin, and a country fried steak with biscuits and gravy. Both meals came with hashbrowns and coffee, and the steak came with eggs as well. All of the food was tastefully seasoned but not overly so. They unfortunately do not have half& half, but they have coffee mate as an alternative to powdered creamer. Food was well priced, seating was comfortable, service was prompt, and we will definitely be back.

Bubblecup Tea Zone – Menu with Prices – 1101 Grindstone Pkwy Suite 107, Columbia

Very disappointed in the lack of knowledge the staff has. They have items labled as Non-Dairy. When I ordered my item the associate assured me no dairy products are used in making that tea. I ordered it and went about my way. Thirty minutes later while at work I begin to get an unsettling feeling in my stomach. I didn’t finish it but returned to the store and asked to see the ingredient list in their non-dairy creamer. I asked him to look for milk and Caseinate but he was hesitant. He showed me a bag of non dairy creamer used by the food section that had those two ingredients. He kept trying to tell me the tea isn’t made with that one. However, I went to the rest room area and noticed another creamer of another brand that also contained those two ingredients. Be careful and make sure you ask because it seems they are not aware what is contained in what they serve. Also, he was not all considered about me nor was he empathetic.
