I can’t believe it took me this long to find this gem. This Teaspot is THE spot that I’ll be marking down as my go-to place when I need to get my productivity up. I love the nice bright and earthy ambience of the place. The huge selection of tea along with a personal kettle at the table are also helpful in making sure that I don’t snooze off too soon before getting my work done. With the free WiFi and friendly service, I can’t see how anyone could have anything less than a superb experience here. Also, I’m not sure if this is usually part of the tea place, but there was even a friendly doggo that roams around while I was there. As an animal lover, that certainly is a huge plus for me. With all the wonderful features of this place, perhaps the only downside is the parking situation. Since the tea house doesn’t have its own parking lot, you can only park on the side of the street. I went there on a weekday and had minor difficulties in finding one, but it might be a lot harder on the weekend to score a good spot.

Olgaâ??s Deli & Catering – Menu with Prices – 588 Bank St, Ottawa

This adorable little Glebe spot is right at Srathcona and Bank. I walked in with an armful of one-year old and a three year-old tagging along. I immediately like this place – the decor features open, Industrial ceilings, bright art and a slew of tables and chairs. The big deli counter is old school and wonderful, and I love that you can see all the business behind the counter. The menu features traditional deli goods, and I decided to order a turkey sandwich for myself and grilled cheese for the little ones. We also picked up a cheeseburger for their mama which looked UNREAL and she said tasted great. Everything was super fresh – the turkey was the freshest I think I’ve ever had and it was so smokey an wonderful. The kaiser bun was perfect. While we were waiting for our food (which only took about 10-15 minutes), a lovely older lady come up to me and gave the little ones a free cookie (which was SO good – I may have snuck a bite!). She was so sweet, and I assume this was Olga. I really want to head back here and try more of their menu. The staff were so lovely and the place has a great vibe.I bet it’s an awesome spot for lunch if you live or work in the area.

The Teahouse Tapioca & Tea- Rice Village Location – Menu with Prices – 2518 Rice Boulevard B, Houston

Lots of different options for tea flavors! I’m a huge fan of ginger tea and they had one that doesn’t have caffeine. Perfect before bed. During these hot summer days I definitely prefer more of the fruit based flavors. Lots of choices for add ins like tapioca, baby tapioca, and flavored agar based shapes. I love that they offer agar and tapioca instead of just gelatin. As a vegetarian I can’t eat gelatin because it is made out of animal bones and hooves. As far as food goes it is all greasy and fried stuff. I do get the seasoned french fries from time to time. Lots of fried animal things, not a lot of vegetarian options. There is a points and rewards program, but I’m not sure what it does except collect my phone number and tell me my points for the order. The restaurant is kind of hidden. It is located in a tight corner of a shopping center next to a jeweler. The parking lot is big, but the spaces are painted really small so you will park really close to people and may have trouble getting in and out of some of the spaces. Not a lot of spots are really close and the close spots say short term parking for shopping.

Bekâ??s Nizza Pizza Menu with Prices 965 W Lamar Blvd, Arlington

I came here with a friend for the first time and we ordered 2 single slices each and 2 different salads. It was enough for both of us since the slices are huge. Pizza slices: supreme, cheese, veggie lover(2) Salad: house salad and Nizza salad What I can say about our first experience is this: -interior was very cute -owner is kind -price was very affordable-slices we’re big, NY style -salad had amazing house vinaigrette but I would go with the house salad-it has more variety. The Nizza salad had a whole lot of mushrooms and cheese -store has a lot of delivery/Togo orders 3stars: -supreme pizza did not taste like a supreme. It was salty and dry -salad was a little disappointing but I expected a lot more variety in the salad -I’ve tasted better pizza for the same price -I wouldn’t be back if I craved pizza

The Bodhi Tree Café – Menu with Prices – 1938 Adams Ln, Sarasota

What a cozy and unique little cafe! It’s pretty small but very charming and the ambiance is wonderful. They have both inside and outside seating and the outdoor patio looked really cool, it has a beautiful garden view and was very inviting overall. I’m definitely seating outside next time! The menu has some nice offerings, I really liked their panini and salad choices for lunch. I opted for fattoria panini with spinach instead of arugula and it was delicious. I also liked the choice between a little side salad or egg salad. I went with egg salad and it was yummy! The portion size is just right, I was full and didn’t have any leftovers. The service is great as well, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Carolina is incredibly sweet and always has a smile on her face! Looked like many people there were friends and regulars, they were exchanging hugs and the whole atmosphere just felt very warm and welcoming. The only downside is the parking, they have a very small parking lot, which gets full really fast. I had to cruise around for 10-15 mins before I found a spot on one of the side streets, but that’s obviously not restaurant’s fault plus it’s typical for that area, so just an FYI.

Bloom Tea House – Menu with Prices – 2850 Quimby Rd Suite #125, San Jose

This tea house is legit!! My family and I went to Di Lac for vegetarian food and ran into this brand new Bloom Tea House so thought we give it a try. When we first walked in, we noticed there’s a beautiful flower backdrop to the left. Came to find out it’s all handmade by the owner herself. Amazing. The music is not too loud here so it’s plus. It is relaxing atmosphere so you can really sit down enjoy your cup of tea. Those who knows me, I’m a boba tea lover and I think two important components that make or break the boba drinks are the boba and the tea of course. I ordered the jasmine milk tea with boba and the guava with boba, and for sure the owner definitely knows her tea. It was brew to perfection and you can really taste the tea flavor. They’re both so good and refreshing. The bobas were not soggy or powdery like other places either. It was just the right chewy texture. I couldn’t stop eating them. Not only the drinks are good but they are topped with the signature flower pedals. Makes them too pretty to drink. I came in when they’re busy and surprisingly the drinks came out fast. The gentleman that took my order was super friendly and he made sure to check my sweetness and ice level. He also gave recommendations so it made its much easier for me to chose from menu. Parking is huge so you don’t have to ever worry not finding one. Overall, this tea house deserves five stars and were definitely come back to try their other delicious drinks.

Little Sister Coffee Maker – Menu with Prices – 539 Osborne St, Winnipeg

The anticipated second location is now open! If you’re a lover of the tiny, quaint spot in the Village, this location will make your soul smile with double the space and triple the seating. A beautiful and accessible location with raised and lower level seating. Huge beautiful windows with a bar top facing out. You can still get your beloved espresso and a small variety of baked snacks. The other perk is that there is free parking on the street AND a handful of spots in behind the building.

World Tea House – Menu with Prices – 1592 Argyle St, Halifax

Honestly, I’ve never been to a better tea shop! I’ve been going to World Tea House whenever I’m in the area for a couple of years now and have always had a wonderful time! There are so many options for tea (black, green, white, oolong, herbal), as well as great concoctions using tea as an ingredient! The owner and staff are all knowledgeable and really helpful when it comes to helping you pick something you’ll like. You can either get some to drink there or buy some to go. The store sells a variety of cute tea accessories, teapots, books on tea, honey sticks and more. It’s a great spot to pick up something for the tea lover in your life (even if it’s just you!). Today I had the great luck of getting to sample a number of teas while there for the Yelp Halifax tea party. I also finally got the chance to try their Purple Haze, which is a tasty iced drink that includes rosehips, hibiscus and pineapple juice. I was worried it might be too sweet, but it was just the right mix of sweet and tart; plus, it changes colours as you mix it! I also bought some looseleaf tea – assam and the Egyptian camomile. The assam is the best black tea I’ve had in ages! There are baked goods available and I think I saw some vegan options, though I can’t remember re: gluten-free. If you want a meal, you should pop by somewhere else. If you want any espresso drinks, you’re out of luck because they only have drip coffee. This is a haven for tea lovers. There’s usually a few chairs outdoors for a patio, but this summer with the construction happening on Argyle, there is none. There are various table and chair combos indoors. I’ve done some work here in the past using the WiFi. Your best bet for parking is probably a parking garage (try the one by MEC). I know that in the past there has sometimes been someone in to read tea leaves, but I’m unsure if it’s still happening. There’s also a knitting group that meets there on Thursday evenings. World Tea House is really a special spot in Halifax and I hope to be able to drop by for years to come. If you enjoy tea, this place is a must-visit shop!

Sherman Phoenix – Menu with Prices – 3536 W Fond Du Lac Ave, Milwaukee

This is a wonderful, joyful space that EVERYone in Milwaukee, and EVERYone who visits Milwaukee should experience! It’s right off Fond du Lac and 35th, and is a tiny bit tough to spot, but so worth it. First impression – ample parking, despite the crazy snowstorm we’d had the night before the visit. On entry, employees are quick to greet you and offer help in navigating the space. Immediately at the main entrance is a vegan BBQ spot and a Buffalo Wings spot – both local. Enter the main area, and you won’t know where to look first! Also, all of the food being prepared smells amazing. On your right, you can climb the stairs to a gallery showcasing a local artist’s work, a sometime paint/sip studio, that also offers open studio time for families and groups to come and create art in the space. Again, welcoming, friendly guides to orient you quickly! (follow Vibez art collective on Insta!) On the main floor is a pizza place, a spring rolls place, a gourmet popcorn shop, an artisanal candy/bakery counter and I think a clothing store (there was so much to see, that it’s already hard to remember). All locally owned, produced – no chains here! If you walk down the small hallway, there is a barber shop, and a homeopathic/health care/tea/crystal/sage/happiness shop. Also home to Shindig! coffee and juice – I had the blackberry detox lemonade – amazing. Free wifi, ample seating, and large glorious windows. The lower level features everything from a nail salon to mental health care to physical therapy. This is a wonderful collaborative effort, a jewel in the Sherman Park neighborhood – go here, eat lunch, get some work done, and appreciate what’s possible in our city.

CoMO Growlers & Pints – Menu with Prices – 1413 Grindstone Plaza Dr STE 107, Columbia

Amazing little place on the Southside. Always a great new selection of beer. Staff is really helpful and fun Prices are on average with occasional great deals Has two TV’s with sports on, some board games or just bring a pizza from next door in! Probably the nicest bathrooms you’ll find in a bar are found here Trivia done here is really fun! Can’t wait to do it again I guess for only downside is the seating area isn’t that huge so on a busy night it might be hard to find a spot Overall amazing hangout spot

Fat Cat Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2901 E Park Ave, Tallahassee

The Fat Cat Cafe was a genius idea. I am a huge lover of kitties, so to learn of a cafe where I can sit and give attention to 15+/- cats waiting for their next furever home, is just a fantastic idea of a great time. I have been to Fat Cat Cafe several times now. The owner, Melissa, has always been extremely friendly, as has her staff. Sarah, one of the staff members, is by far the sweetest and most caring person, especially when it comes to cats. Fat Cat Cafe has a variety of “Cat” merchandise when you walk in the front. Everything from sparkly t-shirts to handbags to jewelry and keychains. There are several beverage options to purchase, including Keurig cup coffee, and it is only $7 per hour to play with the kitties. The inside of the “cafe” is very wide open with a high ceiling and full of beautiful and sweet felines available for adoption. These babies are given a second, second chance by being removed from the animal shelter and placed in Fat Cat Cafe until they are adopted. Fat Cat Cafe also offers free wifi, yoga with cats, birthday parties, and movie nights as well. If you are looking for something to do and love feline friends, visit Fat Cat Cafe!

Isaac’s Coffee Wine & Dessert – Menu with Prices – 201 Commercial St NE, Salem

I love this place! This place is good for working, studying, or socializing. I brought a date here and we drank coffee and chatted for hours. The seating is very comfortable and there’s a lot of it. The music is just perfect. The service is fast and friendly. The establishment was clean and the workers were super happy which tells me the management is excellent and keeps employees happy. The coffee was really good too. They have a huge table good for large groups or sitting with others, making new friends. They have free WiFi and lots of power outlets to keep your laptop or other devices powered. I felt they had quite a few menus and I would love to see them better organized with them but overall this is an excellent spot and a good addition to Salem downtown. Parking can be a challenge as lots of competition and please remember what time you parked! 3 hour parking means they will ticket you if you overstay your spot! If you get a chance, read about the wonderful things the business owners contribute to the community.
