They have a nice bottled beer selection. I had a Luponic Distortion; my wife had a Lagunitas IPA. The newly remodeled restrooms look great and are well maintained. Our bartender was attentive and friendly. There was some great (and some not-so-great) 80s music playing on the Touch Tunes jukebox. There was some league play (this was on Saturday afternoon), so it was busy, but not crowded and everyone seemed generally friendly and considerate. The only negative is that it was hot. Not unbearable, but we only stayed an hour. My wife would have stayed and kicked my arse at 9-ball all afternoon had it been a little cooler. As it was, we played a race to 4 and she took the match 4-1. Admittedly, It was a 100+ degree day in Fresno, but we have at least a month of those a year, so that could use some work.

Jukebox Ice Cream Parlor – Menu with Prices – 1937 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne

Came into town for a couple days and this happens to be the best hangout during our stay. It was horribly hot and what better way to cool down with ice cream right? Well, this little shop had the creamiest ice cream and more. Apparently they serve hot dogs, chips, root beer and coffee as well. Cold brew was outstanding and all their prices are reasonable. It’s more like a little café rather than just an ice cream shop. The staff was super friendly and they tell me that they rotate menu items and ice cream flavors, so next week they’re serving Italian beef sandwiches. We ended up spending a couple hours here to snack and rest from the heat. It wasn’t busy cuz it was a Tuesday afternoon so I whipped out the laptop and my little girl played with a ball from their toy machine while listening to jukebox music. She had so much fun I’m sure I would’ve been kicked out elsewhere. I would be back to sit in their front patio with sandwiches if I could. As far as ice cream, rush hour is my favorite cuz it’s got those chocolate covered cocoa beans and I got it on top of an upside down pineapple cake. Yes, that’s right. Not just the option of your typical banana split. Isnt that awesome?

Spare Time Chattanooga – Menu with Prices – 5518 Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga

This is a typical arcade nowadays where you load a card with money and swipe the card at the machine to play a game. (what happened to playing with quarters??) Most games are about 1.25 a play except for skee-ball which is 50 cents. The air hockey game played for about a minute, if that, and cut off. The second time we tried playing the puck kept getting stuck in the goal slot. And the game was still going on so we knew it wasn’t that it was over. One of the skee-ball machines wasn’t releasing the balls but it sure took your money from your card. We played Luigi’s haunted mansion and it completely shut off in the middle of the game. The staff member that was there restarted the machine and swiped her card so we can play again so that was nice. The basket ball game had two different scores on each side so that was weird. Couldn’t tell if I kicked my husband’s butt in that game or not lol. The prize room opened later and half the prizes didn’t have the ticket amount on them and the girl at the counter was too busy flirting with some guy to pay attention to anything going on. . There was also bowling but we didn’t play. Maybe that would have had less quirks.

Black Sheep On Broadway – Menu with Prices – 128 SW Broadway St #1139, Ocala

My girlfriend and I went here for a Sunday afternoon date to check out what they had to offer. We were pleasantly surprised to see they had all the NFL games on. There were plenty of tvs and the music they played was a great mix that was very fitting. We both ordered a draft beer and we ordered the crab cakes for an app. The service was fast and friendly and the beer selection was awesome. The crab cakes were absolutely amazing! I ordered a pork fritter sandwich with fries and my girlfriend got two sliders, the fries green tomato one and the beef tenderloin one. We both shared bits of everything to get a good sample of the menu. My favorite thing by far were the crab cakes. After we ate I looked at the available bottled beers and went with a local craft bottled beer. Their selection was pretty broad and I can see myself going back to try the rest of the menu and a few more of the beer selections. Overall a great experience and I would recommend to anyone looking for some great food and drinks in a fun atmosphere!

The Whale :: A Craft Beer Collective – Menu with Prices – 1108 S Main St Suite #116, Greenville

So I was searching for a new Craft Beer place this week and started reading reviews of The Whale and my wife and I were excited to go there after seeing their pics and reading their story. The Whale is on the West End of Greenville ( this IS the up and coming area of Main St Greenville). We had the pleasure of talking Beer and being hosted by the Owner Jesse, intensely knowledgeable, friendly, genuine, welcoming… what can I say? The Beer selection almost makes your brain hurt there are SO many to choose from, both on Tap and in bottles and cans and from all OVER the world. Ambiance is great, bright with the huge windows, plenty of seating. Stayed for a couple hours. Fantastic afternoon stop to end the day. He even had a bottled beer from our hometown area of San Luis Obispo, CA. Great place, Great host and Owner Jesse, incredible beers . West End (for now) is quieter and off the beaten path which is a nice, refreshing short walk from the opposite end of Main Street GVL. We have a new friend, we have a new favorite place to relax and enjoy a beer or wine or Cider… now I know why I’ve always loved Whales… Prost!!

Eight Ball Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2727 Colby Ave, Everett

My wife and I stopped into Eight Ball for a couple beers and dinner. Free parking can be found on the street. Discover is an accepted form of payment. A small outdoor seating area is offered. Indoors one will find a full bar, mounted TVs and a bakery/deli case in the back. Happy Hour is offered on food Monday-Friday from 3pm-6pm. Eight Ball is trendy so the prices vs. quality shouldn’t come as a surprise. Be sure to review your receipt before cashing out. We were over-charged for our beers – prices charged of $6.50 didn’t match prices listed of $5.99. My wife and I each had a couple Irish Deaths for $6.49 and Silver City Tropic Haze IPA’s for $5.99 (over-charged on this beer). My wife ordered the Chicken Strips (qty 3) & Fries for $8 (hh): the chicken strips were the frozen variety. The house cut fries were soggy, greasy and tasteless. Disappointing meal choice here. My wife and I also shared the Potato Pizza (10″) for $12.99 + $1.49 up-charge for Pesto Sauce + $1.99 up-charge for bacon. Total cost was $16.47. The pizza had plenty of thinly sliced potatoes, zero sun-dried tomatoes as stated, maybe the roasted garlic was in the olive oil since I didn’t see any garlic bulbs, plenty of Pesto Sauce and barely visible bacon (maybe three crumbles). The pizza itself was an over-priced unsatisfying change from the normal pizza options. Our server was friendly and up-beat. Overall, Eight Ball is a one time only stop for us.

Buffet Royale Carvery – Menu with Prices – 17202 95 Ave NW, Edmonton

The food was decent with the exception of the corn on the cob. My issue was rhe lack of service. Not one time did any of the servers come to fill our drinks or see how the food was. When I went to pay our bill my wife had said out loud not to give a tip because of the poor service when the girl at the front counter heard this she started complaining that we were making her lose money by not tipping. My wife replied had we had good service she would be more then happy to tip. Then the girl said “Well, i may be loosing money from you but at least these other tables will tip. I had to walk away and let my wife finish paying as i was too angry by the negative attitude, and sheer rudeness of this cashier. Tipping is not a requirement, and certainly not for poor service! My family comes here once a month. I think i may have to find another place now.

The Book Shoppe and Coffee – Menu with Prices – 5330 Parkwood Blvd Suite 100, Frisco

This is a really neat place and I foresee spending much time here over the coming years. As a newcomer to Frisco, we had been hoping to find a place like this that was not too far from where we live. My wife and I drive by this location practically every Sunday on our way to church and finally decided to stop by and check it out. It is much bigger than it appears from the outside. We are not coffee drinkers, but there are plenty of other drink options beyond the assorted coffees that are offered. There are also plenty of food offerings, making this a great place to meet friends for lunch or bible study. I must confess, I often dreamed of opening a bookstore just like this one and felt like I was walking into my dream store. In my dream, however, I only played classical or other instrumental music in the background. The vocal music being played this afternoon was a little distracting for me as I read the book I had purchased. Anyway, I will be telling all of my friends about it and wish you great success.

Copper River Grill – Menu with Prices – 775 Haywood Rd, Greenville

Seated promptly upon arrival, very little wait for server to take drink order.. Restaurant was clean and relatively quiet; table and silverware were also clean.. Drinks were as anticipated (really canâ??t mess up a bottled beer, (though Iâ??m sure some have tried…) and my wife had a martini with adequate alcohol (a martini can be really messed up…) and tasted as expected.. For appetizer we chose a cup of She Crab soup, which was heated perfectly, and tasted as expected.. I ordered a 10 oz Sirloin, my wife the Stuffed Flounder, accompanied by salad.. The salads were large, fresh and tasty.. My steak arrived not quite well done as ordered, but in the ball park (second level seating…). Heated correctly and accompanied by a large baked potato.. My wife Stuffed Flounder was as anticipated, heated appropriately and tasty.. So after finishing the steak, flounder, salads, baked potatoâ??s and soup, we knew Banana Pudding for dessert was the next challenge. The serving was more we could finish, we resigned to our fate, and so we took it with us, for later.. Our server was friendly and attentive.. So if you visit, expect very good service, very good drinks, larger than average portions, great taste, and an overall a very good dining experience

Sweet Tomatoes – Menu with Prices – 4928 S Power Rd, Gilbert

I generally love eating here. Their soups are usually pretty good but I don’t know what’s happened lately. Their French Onion soup from last month was nothing but salt. This month the Spicy Sriracha Udon soup is nothing but salt. Extremely salty. No other flavor in the broth could be tasted. This is the worst version of any Udon soup I’ve ever had compared to a Japanese restaurant. Sorry for all the bad news. For the good news, I love the fresh salads and homemade salad dressing. So yummy! Usually pretty good but on certain days they add a little too much salt to the Home Greek Dressing. Soups here are generally awesome in the past!! I would have given them 5-stars on many occasions. I don’t know what’s happened as of late. I hope they get their naturals flavors back.

Level Up Gaming – Menu with Prices – 1301 E University Dr #128, Tempe

Front desk guy, Asian with long hair in a pony tail and a mustache/goatee combo, was just rude and unpleasant. He didn’t say hi when I came in. I stood there for 2 minutes while he just quietly played Call of Duty. Once he didn’t he said “What’s up?” in a cold tone. I said that I would like to get an hour to play and asked about the first time free hour thing so I could get a total of two hours. He said “Yeah. That expired over a year ago.” Even though I saw a review on Google maps that said that you get an hour free for your first time just 2 months ago. Guy played video games instead of checking multiple different people in that came in. It was also 5 dollars for an hour instead of 3.50 like what other people said. I would much rather just go to Pure Esports in Gilbert. Better computers. Better peripherals. Friendlier staff. And MUCH better chairs. For just two bucks more. Edit: I can only assume that’s the owner, his family member or some other thing for him to not be fired yet. The place has multiple different bad reviews because of him on Google maps.

American Coffee Services – Menu with Prices – 6928 Carnegie Ave, Cleveland

This company is very helpful! Came here looking for something for my office and was in and out in under an hour. Not only was I able to get a beautiful coffee machine. But, I was able to get a water cooler as well. Very friendly staff and the customer service was great. If you’re looking for machines for the office, lobby, waiting room or just anything really. This is the place to go. Reasonably priced and honest about what’s good and what will waste your money.

Downbeat Coffee + Tea – Menu with Prices – 1200 W 39th St #2, Kansas City

We came here for the wife as she needed her coffee fix for the day. We walked by the place as we thought it was a house. Thank god I remembered in these pictures that the place was a old house or office but turned into a coffee shop. When you get to the shop, you need to walk upstairs. Then when you enter the front door, walk more stairs to the top floor. There you will be in for the coffee shop. We met the owner, she was a very hippy kinda person, sweet, nice and welcoming. She also had a year old puppy who was so cute and sweet and wanted you to just play with her. My wife ordered a cold coffee as I played with nelly. The inside of the shop is very colorful and cute. We would of stayed longer but the shop was closing soon and we didn’t want to be those people. We spoke for a bit with the owner as she gave some tips of where to go to. We would come back if we came back to Kansas City.
