Sorry. Only 74 reviews? Small portions of food and way too greasy. Way too many Asian places in Aurora other than Asian Fusion. Im new to Aurora and wanted to find a good Asian joint to eat close to home. Not impressed. No wonder their restaurant has no customers. Ill only go back for their wings and 1 of 3 beers on tap. Kind of pathetic. Great location but pretty terrible greasy food. Does the house salad have have a side of crisco instead or vinaigrette?. Ton of potential but ill maybe grab a beer in the future but the food is way too greasy for my liking. I screwed up and went with Mongolian beef. Go with their wings. My review isn’t all negative The owner is awesome but you need a shot of lipitor if you eat here. I dont think the chef knows he needs to drain the grease from the frying pan. Once again The owner is great but the food isnt worth serving to your dog unless he’s on lipitor. Sorry Mae.

Bento Box Sushi – Menu with Prices – 3284 Lancaster Dr NE, Salem

The family and I stopped in and sat down for an early dinner. We had been walking by after already picking up food from Little Caesers next door but were homesick for Asian food. We ordered the chicken teriyaki & beef stir fry dinner plate which comes with potstickers, also ordered fried shrimp and a plate of noodles (owner asked if we wanted it spicy or mild so we chose spicy). I have to mention that we walked in with cheesy bread and spicy BBQ wings thinking we were just going to place a take out order. Once we sat down, our famished kids started tearing into the pizza (I was embarrassed to have the gall to bring in “outside food” but the kids were starving!) The owner graciously didn’t blink an eye at our forbidden outside food. His only comment was that he was going to prepare a sample of his chicken wings so we could do a taste comparison. Gracious, I tell you! He whipped up a spicy teriyaki sweet chili dipping sauce for the wings which proved to be much better than Little Caesers wings! I have to add a star just for his graciousness alone. He provided the most friendly customer service ever.

Auggie’s Wings – Menu with Prices – 3A Cordova St, St. Augustine

The latest venture by Burger Bucket’s is Auggie’s Wings! What can I say? On my ‘great chicken wing’ hunt I have tried many and they range from awful to awesome. Auggie’s Wings ranks in the latter – because they are awesome – they should be called Auggie’s Awesome Wings! They have regular and boneless with all kinds of sauces. The wings are so good you will eat them until your stomach explodes – and still want more! But, the best part is – you can order them on bite squad and either pick them up or have them delivered – so you never even have to get off the couch (well, maybe to answer the door). Oh, and the Onion Rings and fries are the bomb.

Gold Rail Bar – Menu with Prices – 1114 N Pacific Ave, Glendale

OMG!!! My husband grew up in Glendale in the 50’s-70’s and had always said this place was a “dive bar”….NOT ANYMORE!! This place is awesome with 24 beer taps, 2 taps on Nitro, 2 wine taps! The part owner is very nice and very friendly (personality plus), which in my book is extra special! Came in for one beer each and ended up staying for two more beers each and a shot of tequila (which was an added surprise)! It was a very quiet night for a Tuesday (which is okay), hopefully more people will come in and check this place out! It’s a great place to hang out and talk about beer, tequila and growing up in Glendale!

Midori Express – Menu with Prices – 2421 Randleman Rd, Greensboro

I was going to this place for years despite how cold and rude the lady at the register is I always order a lot of food basically I spend a lot of money at that place yesterday I ordered a lot of food but when I got home I didn’t see my chicken wings so I called back to let the guy know that they forgot my chicken wings I get up to the store and the guy starts showing me on camera that he gave me the chicken wings and starts questioning me as if I’m lying saying we got cameras and that months ago I try to short change them for three dollars now this guy doesn’t even work there on a daily basis so I tell him the lady took my money and never gave me back the change why lie about receiving change for a transition that isnt even breaking my pocket anyways I get into an argument with the guy and basically let him know that I’m retired military and everybody black isnt trying to steal this place is racist they have poor customer service I later found the chicken wings and bought them back to the store he packed everything in one small bag so it was an honest mistake but the entire time they felt that I was a dishonest customer from the start why tell me to come back up to your store to get the wings but try to accuse me my stealing when I come there so much the lady at the register practically knows what my order is black people dont give your money to these racist people.

Jtown Pizza Co. – Menu with Prices – 625 N 6th St, San Jose

I’m hesitating to give this 5-star review because I don’t want them to become super busy and packed all the time if they get great rating, but this place is the bomb and I have to give them some love. I live nearby in Mio Apartments and this place is your best option for a good beer nearby (Jack’s being the second, and not a bad choice, but it’s a very different atmosphere). [By the way the owner also owns Jack’s Bar and several other nearby shops/restaurants.] The draft beer selection is great and is constantly changing. They also have individual bottles that are rotating, and also allow for you to purchase some to take home with you (for a lower price, still slightly higher than a grocery store). They don’t fill growlers yet (I asked), but I hope they will in the future. They serve liquor drinks as well. The food is awesome. – Pizza: Great quality crust and you can tell all the ingredients they use are fresh. Sometimes the huge-meat or pesto/garlic-oil pizzas can be slightly greasy on the bottom, but it’s not that bad. – Chicken Wings: I worked in restaurant kitchens cooking all sorts of food growing up, and still cook my own chicken wings regularly. All I’ll say is that they are doing it proper. – Other stuff I’ve had has been great (salads, other appetizers) and I haven’t heard anyone complain about the food quality. Pros: – Great beer. – Great food. – Walking distance to a lot of available parking / nearby apartment complexes. – In Japantown so if you change your mind for food there are lots of options. – Friendly staff. – Lots of TVs (and upstairs they’ll let you turn the volume up some for a game, if you ask). – Arcade upstairs. – Dog friendly outdoor patios. – The previous owner (a Chinese noodle shop) spent $1 million on renovations. – They have one of those lift things to lift pizzas to the second floor for you. – More I’m missing. Cons: – Parking _close-by_ can be tricky in the area. Make sure you pay the meter to prevent ticketing. Also there have been some break-ins in the area recently, so hide your belongings. – Prices feel a bit high but they aren’t *that* bad. You pay $28 for a large pizza that will happily fill up 4 people. – They’re still in “soft opening” so they sometimes make mistakes or might take longer to take down your order due to the order station not having one of the toppings listed for them to input. – Buzzer system for grabbing food is kinda annoying and twice I’ve had an issue with my buzzer not going off.

Wings and Things – Menu with Prices – 2773 Bell Rd, Montgomery

I love this place . It’s a mix of American deli meets a Asian restaurant and I am here for it! My sister and I went because we was hungry and we left feeling good with our wallets still full. I bought the BBQ wings and the ranch was better than kraft . I believe it was house made . I always take a liking to house made instead of store bought . The atmosphere was very Olive Garden like and it was very comfortable. The man who owns it doesn’t speak much but I’m not really here to make friends but after I tasted the food I could understand if he said he let his food speak for him . Lol. I enjoyed it and I don’t usually enjoy wings from hole in the wall type places. I would encourage people to go out and check this place.

Bogey’s Bistro Inc. – Menu with Prices – 2300 Old Milburnie Rd, Raleigh

Hubby and I have been looking for a quaint local place for great people and food. We happened upon Bogeys Bistro about a mile from our subdivision on a golf course off Old Milburnie Rd. Owner was super friendly. Wings and hot dog was on point. Great food cheap Beer nice conversation. We say go ck out our local watering post. We need to support our community. (Overlook the initial vibe cause it’s a work in progress) but owner is awesome and very welcoming and kid friendly.

Hub City Wings 4th & Frankford – Menu with Prices – 417 Frankford Ave Suite 200, Lubbock

The room and decor were good, the bathrooms were good, but the service was terrible. We had a reserved table with only 9 people and I thought this experience reminded me of that show, Bar Rescue. We waited for a good 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us once we sat down and that only happened because one of the people with me was a regular there. Over the few hours we were there we started ordering 2 drinks at a time since we knew it would be a long time until our server came back. I had a $7.25 shot of Patron and I wish I could have measured that shot. It was served in a shot glass with a false bottom to make the shot look bigger than it is, I’ve never seen a fake out shot glass like that before but the fluid amount, I thought, was super small. My margarita was orange and I just felt that maybe there were new people working there. The wings were great, really enjoyed the Thai and Hot wings. At the end of the night the waitress was very nice and apologized for the “rocky start”, which was very sweet but then all of our tickets were all mixed up, but she promptly fixed them. This won’t be my last time here and I hope to update this review with 5 stars one day.

Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill – Menu with Prices – 6690 E State St, Rockford

Stopped into this location with my wife on a Monday night to try it out…. Looked cool from the front. We read a few of the mixed reviews and decided we would find out for ourselves. So glad we did because we were extremely blown away by just how awesome the smoked wings were and the service we recieved. Carmen our bartender was incredibly friendly, super passionate about the place, very knowledgeable about the menu and all the different whiskeys they offered. We were happy to get an opportunity to talk with her and ask her questions as this was our first time ever visiting a Smokey Bones. . We were very happy to find out that Mondays are all you can eat wings. So of course that is what we went with. We also tried several of their amazing sauces… Ohhh my word those wings are so good… Smoked perfectly! They had perfect seasoning, perfect color, just a tad of that smoky flavor goodness you want, and they were not dried out which is what is important to me. It showed that the kitchen knew what they were doing! We also tried the cornbread with praline pecan butter which was out of this world!. My wife and I both agreed that we will be back for sure. If not for the wings, maybe to try something else on the menu…. . I did try the maple smoked knob creek whiskey, which was my first time seeing it and drinking it. Delicious! Also they have a wonderful craft beer menu available on tap and in cans or bottle. Over all a wonderful experience! The place was really clean, had a modern hipster vibe, staff was all friendly, everyone was smiling and happy to be there. These little things will make this place a success along with awesome bartenders like Carmen! Keep up the great work and good luck in the future!

The Black Rabbit – Menu with Prices – 2353 Pacific Ave Ste B, Stockton

A decent place, but not quite as good as The Abbey it replaced. The beer selection and the food are each a bit below the Abbey. They are trying for small plate, tapas style, which isn’t bad per se, but it takes the right dishes to stand up to the beer. They don’t have it yet. I’m not sure who wants salads, avocado toasts, and raw beef tartare to go with rounds of beers, but it isn’t me or my friends. (BTW, I’m not eating raw beef tartare at any place less than 4 stars, but maybe that’s just me.) They need more substantial tapas, like: patatas brava, croquetas, arancini, a charcuterie plate, scotch egg, or even poutine. I mean fried food goes with beer like PB goes with J. The fried brussels sprouts are good, as are the chicharones/cracklins and the Polynesian wings (although the goop on the wings should be thinner, and pieces of chicken are small…it would take 2 orders to satisfy most…at $12 a pop). The service is really good. The owners are really nice, and in earnest about trying to get it right. So you gotta cheer for folks like that (but until they get the menu sorted out we won’t be regulars).

Chic N Fish – Menu with Prices – 954 J Clyde Morris Blvd, Newport News

I liked my experience here but the Momma forgot my French fries that I ordered and my butt was burning for the next few days when the chicken came out of me. LOL. I found this place on yelp and heard about it from others at my workplace. I was craving good wings and I love Korean fried wings! I ordered the 24 piece wings and got half hot and half Korean garlic. I also ordered kimchee, rice, and fries as it was my meal for lunch and dinner. I put in the phone order as the wings take about 30 minutes to make. I probably screwed the Momma up by ordering my sides once I got there. But she was a super nice lady. She scolded me for asking for blue cheese or ranch. She said these are Korean style wings so no need dipping sauce. She was right! The wings were very flavorful and delicious. I would have liked it a little more crispy but it was still very good. The rice and kimchee was good as was the pickled radish. I am sure my French fries would have been good to if I got it. It was actually my fault for not checking all my stuff before I left and also for forgetting that I even ordered the fries. Overall, I agree this is one of the best places for wings in the area and I enjoyed my conversation with the Momma of the restaurant!

Bamboo One Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 70 Colony Rd, Newport News

I came here with my family for a late lunch on a Monday. The restaurant was empty but I’ve been determined to find flavorful asian cuisine in Virginia. I ordered the Shrimp dumpling, pork shao-mai, BBQ Pork Bun, Sesame Rice Ball, Walnut Shrimp, Yanzhou Rice, and Grilled Beef over White rice(C2). Everything was amazing, the Yangzhou Rice was very authentic, as authentic as it can be considering we aren’t in Yangzhou. All the food tasted fresh and it was noticeable that the food was made to order based on temperature, presentation, and flavor. The Sesame Rice Ball was flavorful and the inside tasted great, the consistency of the inside was too sticky for my liking but it was tasteful nonetheless. In addition, the walnut shrimp was too saucy for my liking, however the sauce was so rich in flavor that it also overpowered the shrimp too much for my liking- Still a great dish. The BBQ Pork Bun and Pork Shao-Mai both came out steaming and were great! They reminded me of the restaurant back home. The only reason I gave this place four stars is due to the sanitation, it’s not dirty by any means but the restaurant could have a cleaner restroom. Don’t let this deter you because i’d definitely come back to this restaurant!
