Archie’s is the heart and soul of Boston. Seriously- in a city filled with average food and worse service, Archie’s is a beacon of light in the form of a yahoo sausage. They’re super quick and somehow manage to make my order right every single time (except once I got bacon instead of sausage but honestly I think I subconsciously needed the bacon that day so no worries there). I’m sad my office is moving and that they aren’t open on weekends but I will always have a little sandwich shaped hole in my heart from Archie’s.

Archie’s Place Menu with Prices 4409 Holmes St, Boise

If this is for the Archies Place Food Truck… Absolutely stop and get a sandwich when you see this around ghetto valley. I’ve been fortunate enough to eat here 4 or 5 times now and it’s always incredible. Today I had a Mediterranean steak sandwich that was heaven on a caibatta roll. Happy to see the food truck scene growing in Boise and these guys are top notch!

Venezia Cafe – Menu with Prices – 8503 Arlington Blvd # 160, Fairfax

Wife had to come to the neighboring office building for a Dr. appointment. Decided to check out this place for a quick bite rather than go to a franchised restaurant. Service and scene was nice. Ordered a BLT and a coffee. I knew something was off when I picked up the wrapped sandwich, and it felt like 2 pieces of bread wrapped in a napkin. I opened the sandwich and knew my prediction was correct. This bot was basically bread, lettuce, and tomato with a small side of bacon. I’m talking two strips that were broken in half. For 6 bucks. Everyone knows that a good BLT needs to be dominated by bacon crunchiness and chewiness. There was no crunch or chew to be found. The chicken sandwich was basically the same price for a full patty. This was like bacon flavored bread. I mentioned to my wife that I would still be hungry after only consuming half of the sandwich. Finished it starving. I can’t attest to the other offerings, but the blt was either overpriced or under filled.

Puff Daddy’s Sandwich Shop – Menu with Prices – 325 N Maryland Ave, Wilmington

This place is awesome. Doesn’t look like much, but the food is excellent. Breakfast sandwich features sausage that is Delaware’s best, without having to drive to Smyrna. Don’t expect them to get there right at 7:00, but once they get there and get the flat top fired up, you can expect the best breakfast sandwich in Wilmington. Take it to the office and eat it in front of your coworkers!!

Kanters Deli Menu with Prices 196 Lark St, Albany

Overall the food here is pretty good. Dave, their cook does a great job (though I overheard he’s looking for a different job.) The problem for me is price inconsistency. First time I went there (I work in the building next door) I ordered a breakfast sandwich – sausage, bacon and cheese (no egg) on a hard roll. The price for the default sandwich (bacon or sausage or ham and egg and cheese) is $3.75. At the first order, the guy behind the counter wasn’t sure how to charge it as what I wanted was different than normal. The lady who owns the business said “make it the same as a regular breakfast sandwich.” I went back several times more and the price was the same. Then another lady charged me $4.50 and the owner said the same thing as she previously said. Today I go and get the same thing and the price is now $5.00. I said “it keeps changing.” She then asked if it was fair from a business standpoint that I get double meat and ask for a discount… I didn’t ask for one. I asked for consistency regarding pricing that she herself had set. Is it fair to keep changing your pricing, and then put the onus on the customer for questioning the change? I liked Kanter’s but I think they can do with one less customer at this point.

Shabro Hot Pot Shabu Shabu – Menu with Prices – 9144 Prestmont Pl #200, Frisco

MY love. MY heart. MY soul. You do not deserve these shameless reviews, let me save you. This place is absolutely everything I needed in a hot pot place. Here’s the thing – I’m a cheap person. And when I see a lunch special price like this, it warms my heart. When I find out the hot pots are INDIVIDUAL, I get happy. You get to choose between multiple different broths (Chicken, Seafood, Miso, and the Chinese kind) and have the option to make any of them spicy. Even though you request it, it honestly doesn’t make a difference since I barely tasted any spice. They have a huge selection of different veggies from broccoli, corn, cabbage, mushrooms – to different seafood like mussels, crawfish, and more. Eggs, rice balls, kimchi, gyozas are available. For their lunch special I believe you get the choice between 5 different meats and you get one order at a time. The meat plates are pretty generous and they are unlimited. I will say, one thing that lacks sadly is the attentiveness of the staff. Plenty of times I would be left with no meat or no water and I would have to waive them down. Nonetheless, it is still my all time favorite hot pot place as of current. Lunch prices are available daily , even weekends! However, not on holidays.

William J. Walter Hochelaga – Saucissier / Bières de microbrasserie / Bar laitier – Menu with Prices – 5 Simon-Valois Pl, Montreal

SAWSAGE! Who doesn’t like tasty sausages? Well vegans and vegetarians probably..but OH WELL. The black Swiss sausage is my favourite, which funny enough was our “one free sausage” the first time we went here…we bought it in bulk on our next visit. They also have a nice selection of local beer, but since HoMa has so many great beer stores that doesn’t really matter much…it’s all about the cylinder shaped meat contraptions. SAWSAGE!

Cozzie’s NY Deli – Menu with Prices – 3723 Fairview Industrial Dr SE #110, Salem

my boyfriend & i found this deli by chance. definitely a good spot to get a great sandwich! it’s a bit out of the way but nothing to worry about. be sure to order your sandwich in a wedge. the last time we were there, we tried their chicken cutlets finally after a while of them running out. surprisingly we weren’t that impressed & my boyfriend’s cutlets were a bit pink & squeaky- not a pleasant experience. however, we’ve never had a problem with any of our orders in the past. we’ll probably avoid ordering anything with chicken cutlets & we’d be good to go. my boyfriend is pretty much IN LOVE with their bleu ucello sandwich. their meatball sandwich is huge & delicious! be sure to give it a try. we definitely wish they were open on weekends!

New Yorker Deli & Pizzeria – Menu with Prices – 3001 E Cervantes St, Pensacola

First time at this deli. I ordered the BLT sandwich. They offer different types of bread and I chose regular white bread. The sandwich was very good wit a lot of bacon. I do splurge occassionally and eat bacon so this was a treat! All sandwiches come with chips and a pickle slice. They open at 11:00 a.m. There is somewhat limited parking so plan accordingly. It is a true deli atmosphere so if you are looking for a quiet place, this isn’t it. It’s not so noisy that can hear the people your own table though. They do have full meals as well if you want to go for dinner. I recommend giving it a try. You get a lot for your money and it’s very reasonably priced.

Jersey Mike’s Subs – Menu with Prices – 1101 Grindstone Pkwy Suite 105, Columbia

My chicken bacon ranch is missing the bacon. Had my wife do an online order she left contact info. How come she wasn’t contacted before someone went ahead and made the sandwich that’s missing a key ingredient? I could have just gotten a different sandwich with all its ingredients. But no I’m stuck with a chicken bacon ranch without the bacon. At least she got 2 free cookies for the trouble.psh! This was both of our first attempt at this place. Hers has jalapenos she didn’t order. Good luck with the repeat business.

Howard’s Donuts – Menu with Prices – 2666 Foothill Blvd, San Bernardino

Great donuts and sandwich shop. Been coming here for years, but decided to do a review on here. Their food is excellent. I always orders the philly cheesesteak, and their pastrami sandwich, but lately I’ve seen that they got a new menu too. I was there early one day and I noticed that people started to order their breakfast burrito, I figured that all their food are good and I was in the mood to try something new. So I opted to order the breakfast burrito, which come with harsh brown, eggs, cheese, and the choice of meats, including bacon, sausage, or ham. I chose to order the one with bacon and sausages. I’ll tell you that it really hit the spot!! It was big enough to satisfied my breakfast craving. Sure this place is not located in the best part of town, but than again this is San Bernardino, and the food and the service there was worth going in and they have many loyal customers just like myself.

Porchetta Roll – Menu with Prices – 4120 Dixie Rd Unit 2, Mississauga

Honestly so happy for yelp lol. I was in the area and was looking for a place to grab food, so I got out my yelp app and started searching. Then this place popped up, gave this place a try, and never looked back! I went here with my boyfriend and we got the Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich and the Shrimp Po’Boy. It was delicious! The portion was great however, maybe I was just a bit more hungry we ended up ordering an extra Smoked Veal Sausage sandwich, which we shared and that too was good! The price I thought was average not cheap and not too expensive. We added small fries and a small coleslaw. Everything came up to about $40. So to each your own. I will definitely be coming back and would like to try their meals. I keep seeing great reviews about their potatoes. That will be next on my “to try” list! NOTE: They’re not open late they close at 8pm on weekdays. And 7pm on Saturdays

Firenze: Italian Street Food – Menu with Prices – 131 N Clinton St, Chicago

Firenze you have my heart!! One of our kind new vendors catered a variety of sandwiches along with an awesome salad for the office today. “THIS IS SOOO AMAZING” is what I kept thinking as I was eating my caprese sandwich. This is hands down better than any sandwich I have ever had!! SO fresh! The bread is super unique, crispy but still a soft bite – it won’t tear your mouth up like you might think when you look at it. I’m not a big sandwich person, but oh my goodness I am now!! This was an unforgettable meal which consisted of: their homemade bread, pesto, roasted eggplant (so good), mozzarella and tomato. The salad was great too: chopped up romaine with roasted veggies mixed in. There was a bowl of diced chicken that came with, along with fresh shaved parmesan and balsamic – they thought of everything. I don’t eat meat so I loved that the chicken was on the side. Dear Firenze – You’re really super special, I wish you much success and I’m so glad you exist!! Go get a sandwich y’all!!!!
