THIS PLACE! I love the name, the logo, the cupcakes! We chatted up the owner Kim- who’s dedication and passion for her shop simply shine through! I was guessing cakes in the case- pretty thoroughly I might add. I ended up with the white-chocolate raspberry cupcake & hubby tried the limited time offer- German chocolate cupcake. We both were in cake and icing bliss. Gimme some sugar is the best cupcake I’ve had in a while! Try them out! And enjoy the photography art throughout the cupcake gallery!

We end up coming here pretty often. The owners are great and very friendly and I appreciate that they let me use their bathroom. This place specializes in build-your-own cupcakes. You can mix and match any base flavor with any cream and top it with a number of fun toppings. My favorite base is the strawberry one and the pineapple one because they have little bits of their respective fruit mixed into the batter and it’s always a delight when I get a bite of one. I’ve tried a bunch of random combinations but my favorite thing to do is to ask them what they think goes well with what I’ve chosen. Sometimes it works out and sometimes I have to adjust it later but I usually leave with an awesome cupcake that is at least enjoyable, even if not my all-time favorite. They are also very accommodating here. They will add sparkles, color, and chocolate or caramel syrup for free. The sparkles are really popular with the people I have brought with me to visit. The large comes with one free topping, otherwise all toppings are .50 each. They have a rack to the side of discount cupcakes you can buy. They’re on sale because they were made the previous day. I usually check what they have there first. Oh, don’t forget to come in on your birthday for a free cupcake! Smallcakes Cupcakery – Menu with Prices – 2400 S Marion Rd Suite 130, Sioux Falls

So while I was sneaking out around the lake in front of Hobby Lobby I found this little store called Smallcakes. It might as well have been called “get in here now” the cupcakery. My kids and I each devoured one cupcake and then we loaded up with 12 more before heading home. My favorite was the carrot cake cupcake, my least favorite was a breakfast themed cupcake with a little pancake & waffle. But even that one would have gotten a 3 star review. Pricing is inline with every other cupcake shop I have been to, perhaps even a little less than some. Plus I don’t remember any of them also having ice cream so that seems like a bonus. We stop in at one of Smallcakes competitors every time we are in town, now we will be changing it up from time to time giving them both an opportunity to keeping winning our cupcake business.

Sweetness Desserts – Menu with Prices – 2034 N Valley Mills Dr, Waco

What a lovely shop! The ladies are very nice, too. We live several hours away, but when in town, we eat at a restaurant nearby. The sign and front windows drew me in, but the cupcakes will have us return every time we visit Waco! The shop is absolutely charming, the dessert displays are enticing, and the free samples are a wonderful way to “preview” the cupcake flavors. One sample of strawberry cupcake and I was hooked!!!! All the desserts are beautiful, but the strawberry cupcake is made in beautiful colors, and the icing, made with real berries, is incredible. It even has some sparkle!!! The cookies looked delicious, and all the desserts were artfully made. A sample of the fudge cupcake was very good, but their strawberry (one) is the best cupcake I have ever eaten!!!!

Do you know of anyone who says â??I just donâ??t like cupcakesâ? and wonder how they rest comfortably at night? Well, I too, used to worry about those people, because I am a tried and true CUPCAKE ADDICT, so of course my (now) hubby and I opted for cupcakes for our recent nuptials. I knew not everyone in attendance was a sweet treat fan, but yeah, 7 dozen minis for 30 guests? I could sit down with about 5 of them and knock that out. However, to my delight and surprise, these cupcakes were enjoyed by all, even people who hadnâ??t had a cupcake in over a year was munching down on the tasty bites. Did we have cupcake toasts instead of the traditional bubbly? Yes we did, and that just got everyone excited for their next flavor! Thank you Smallcakes for putting the awesome SWEET touch on a day I will never forget. You have a life-long fan in not just myself, but 29 other people who will have a new standard for their cupcake eats!

Foodelicious Mediterranean restaurant – Menu with Prices – 14845 Mack Ave, Detroit

Just ordered delivery from Foodelicious after getting a menu in the mail. The beef shawarma wrap was just as good, if not better than Bucharest Grill. Don’t even get me started on the hummus. I hope you guys sell it in tubs. Will be coming back here for sure. Thanks for the great food.

Smallcakes: Cupcakery & Creamery – Menu with Prices – 2132 Skibo Rd #114, Fayetteville

A very clean shop with pleasant staff;the atmosphere is very welcoming, and the soft music in the backgound is a nice touch. The cupcakes are delicious! The price is around what you would expect to pay for a cupcake, but I appreciate how they don’t skimp on the cake or frosting. Some cupcakery’s have decreased the size of the cup cake, but not the price. At Small Cakes, you get a nice size, pretty looking cupcake in a cute little box designed to hold cupcakes. It’s the attention to detail and presentation that makes this place a favorite of mine too. ON my last visit I had the ket lime cupcake…yes! I have also had the carrot cake cupcake and it is yum too; an added bonus,is it has no raisins in it. Anyhow, the Red Velvet, Wedding, and plain Chocolate are great too!

Cupcakin Bake Shop – Menu with Prices – 907 Washington St, Oakland

Y’all…have you ever in your life seen a cupcake with a buttery, graham cracker crust?! Me neither! This is so innovative. A complete game changer. Yesterday, I went for the second time to CBS (not the cable network). I needed something sweet after the fire chicken tacos I had at Cosecha. I’m off Keto this week and in the case were various flavors, including one I didn’t see the first time from going: the blessed lemon cream pie cupcake. What? I love lemon anything so of course I ordered. This is simply the best cupcake ever. Not overly sweet. Doesn’t taste artificial. Super moist cupcake with buttery graham cracker crust and a light lemon curd in the center topped with a perfect, fluffy frosting and a graham cracker crumble garnish with lemon zest. Darling AND delicious! The other cupcakes in my pic I ended up giving away because there is no contest at this point. Yes, initially I was going to binge eat 6 cupcakes over the weekend before starting Keto again but this cupcake changed me. Here’s the kicker: right before leaving work, I went back over there a second time to get 2 more. Yes, 2 more. One for dad who is also a lemon lover and who I know would agree this is the best cupcake of all time (and he did agree), and the second one for me. You counted correctly. I did in fact eat 2 lemon cream pie cupcakes in the same day. Need I say more? Back on Keto in a couple days. *cries in carbs*

Gigi’s Cupcakes – Menu with Prices – 621 Dunlop Ln #116, Clarksville

Not that good. Me and the fiancée were in town visiting and we had a sweet tooth so we stopped here. The shop is a cute shop, as it is very clean and has an area for the kiddos opposite regular sized tables. There is also outside seating that is shared space in the plaza. The prices are pretty steep at $3+ per cupcake and cheesecake. But for a boutique cupcake shop, the price is standard. We ordered the strawberry shortcake cupcake, the chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake, and the salted vanilla cheesecake. The cupcakes were okay. The strawberry shortcake had more icing than cake. It tasted good but not good enough to qualify as being a boutique cupcake because the flavor wasn’t very strong. The chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake was good and flavorful. The cheesecake was HORRIBLE. It was dry, not creamy, had no flavor, and didn’t have enough crust. It was hands down the worst cheesecake I’ve ever had. We should’ve saved the troubles and went to the grocery store because it just wasn’t worth the time, price, or disappointment.

I placed an order for a pacman cupcake cake this week for my 6 year old son’s birthday and without delay, Cíao Bakery’s response was accepting and super enthusiastic. The staff members are highly confident in their talents and time frames as they should be. I felt extra relaxed realizing that here is a business that is actually professional and definitely listens per our initial phone conversation. The layout once I arrived was immaculate and overall my experience is that these guys superseded the bar!!!! My son has autism and today his surprise pizza party at school was phenomenal. I can’t thank you enough for being a positive part of my family’s life. You are our official bakery now and yes I have been putting a bug in everyone’s ear to let you cater to their sweet tooth. P.S. The cupcake cake was super delicious and the kids wanted seconds!!! #BestInCentralPA

Slice Cake Shop – Menu with Prices – 4814 Paredes Line Rd, Brownsville

Cute little bake shop that’s been around Brownsville for a few years but recently moved to this location in September. They specialize in cupcakes, but they also do custom cakes with the various cupcake flavors that they have available (customer’s choice). One cupcake is $2.50, but you can get six for $12. The shop is still in its early phase; they are very pink but have a cute little bench/decorated wall made for people who want pictures with their cupcakes. The owner said she will be adding more seating/tables and coffee soon. I really enjoyed speaking with the owner; she is very nice and helpful and does great customer service. As for cupcakes, I got their best-selling one: Strawberry Cheesecake cupcake: Delicious! The cupcake is moist without being crumbly everywhere, and the frosting is a cream cheese frosting that gives it that cheesecake taste. It’s a little on the sweet side, but if you eat it with some milk, then its fantastic.

Cakes ‘n Things – Menu with Prices – 1 Sunny Dr, Harrisburg

Let me start out by saying, I love cupcakes. I’ve been to almost every bakery in and around central PA. I also make it a point to visit any bakeries that are near any of my vacation destinations throughout the US. Heather’s Cupcakes has the best cupcakes I have EVER eaten. I decided to stop there today because I noticed their storefront while I was driving to work one day. I looked them up online and it turns out they just opened in August. My fiancé and I shared the vanilla, double chocolate, snickers, and chocolate PB cupcake. Usually when I try a new cupcake/dessert place, I always have one favorite – but all of the cupcakes we tried today were so good, I can’t pick one that was better than the other. They were all fantastic. If you love cupcakes, I highly recommend this place!
