This is the BEST poke I have had the pleasure of consuming, hands down. I love the ability to order the “half and half” to create my own sashimi salad! I’ve been to other establishments that serve poke and none offer the variety of fresh poke nestled on a bed of your favorite rice and an option to add a nice mixed leafy greens. You can choose from an assortment of menu sauces (or create your own blend) and finally, you can add toppings galore to round out your meal. * here’s the twist, I have the entire order mixed in a large bowl before serving. The staff is always friendly and outgoing. My fave: I dub it the “kitchen sink” Large bowl with 1 scoop each of blazing salmon, tuna luau and spicy tuna. I select the 50-50 mix of brown rice and leafy greens, add 2 scoops of avocado, house spicy sauce, all the toppings (except pineapple), don’t forget the crushed red peppers and dried onion.

Poke District – Menu with Prices – 1924 N Tustin St, Orange

This is the best poke I’ve ever had. My little brother and I came here right when they just opened the door. As soon as they opened, customers started coming in one by one. It was a steady flow coming in. My brother and I stood near the cashier, contemplating what to get since it was out first time here. I decided on getting the salmon bowl, with white rice, everything, and with the Jay-Yo-Lee sauce, which was a creamy mayo sauce. My little brother got the half and half bowl (half tuna and half salmon), brown rice, everything on top, and the Hot Lava Sauce (Spicy). We received our poke still hot and fresh. The second I took a bite out of the salmon, my mouth was watering! It was an amazing amount of flavor. The sauce was mixed evenly and there was an abundant amount of fish! Sad to say, I couldn’t finish my amount of fish… I know, shame on me… The rice was enough, the seaweed salad was enough, and the imitation crab was just right. No other poke place will be able to compete now !

Hi-5 Poke and Sushi – Menu with Prices – 5748 International Dr, Orlando

I ordered a make your own large bowl ($12) over Uber eats. This comes with three scoops of protein and quite a few options for toppings. Note: avocado is an extra $1. The bowl was aesthetically pleasing and I appreciated that they were able to do half salad/half brown rice as my base despite me doing a mobile order (you’d be surprised how often that gets messed up). My three protein scoops were the shrimp, tuna, and salmon. I thought the shrimp was pretty tasty and the tuna marinade was delicious, but the salmon (usually my favorite) was beyond sub par. It was chopped very small and had an almost hard texture. Definitely skip this one if you can. I also felt that my bowl came with a little too much sauce which distracted from the food I was eating, but that’s subjective to the foodie. Overall this satisfied my poke craving but I wouldn’t order from here again. I was between 3 and 4 stars for this review, but ultimately decided on 3 stars as the size of the poke scoops was smaller than most other poke places I frequent.

Ohana Poké – Menu with Prices – 320 S Tryon St Suite 114, Charlotte

Stopped in here for lunch since the line was long for sushi at another place. I was telling a friend how I was craving poke and we wandered into Latta Arcade and boom, Ohana Poke appeared. Win! You can choose a bowl or build your own. I built my own. First you start with a size, regular(16oz) for about $10 or large (32 oz) for about $12. You can choose white rice, brown rice, mixed greens or two things. I went with a regular size and brown rice and mixed greens. You can choose your protein which is marinated ahi tuna, salmon or tofu. They also have a plain cooked shrimp option. Then there’s a bunch of toppings. I got scallions, rice seasoning, jalapenos, cucumber, sweet onion, edamame and I sprung for the $1 avacado. The only extra cost toppings are the seaweed and avacado. And the avacado is half of an avacado. I saw them slice it while I was waiting. Well worth it!. They have a bunch of sauces. I did the ponzu, spicy aoioli, and eel sauce. Once you got through the line, the food was pretty fast. The line was out the door to order. They were giving out complimentary beverages today which was a plus. The only thing I disliked was that it was really warm inside of Latta Arcade making the restaurant warm. I felt like I was going to pass out, but that probably wasn’t their fault. Also, this is more of an in and out type of place. There’s maybe a couple of tables in the hallway if no one else is sitting there. The food was delicious and hit the spot. The veggies were crisp and fresh. The tuna was on point and full of flavor and rice was cooked perfectly. The sauces, especially the spicy aoioli added a creaminess that paired well with the marinade. Glad that this is an option now!

Poke Burri Raleigh – Menu with Prices – 6613 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh

This was my second visit to Poke Burri. My first was a Yelp event, but I wanted to experience Poke Burri as a customer. First, I am addicted to Poke. It is a yummy treat that is somewhat healthy (depending on what you add/choose). Poke Burri is like many other Poke restaurants where they have some standard bowls or you can create your own. Of course, I prefer to create my own; Poke Burri allows you to select 1 protein, 3 veggies, 2 sauces and a topping. This seems very limited to me. There are other restaurants that offer a lot more for the same price (more sauces and a lot more toppings); some offer 2-3 scoops of protein (any combination) rather than just 1. I opted for spicy tuna (which TRULY lives up to its name), edamame, avocado, cucumber, 2 sauces (don’t remember which) and seaweed salad. Unlike most poke restaurants, the bowl isn’t prepared in front of you. It only took a few minutes to be done, but I am used to the bowl being created as I place my order. Not a biggie, just something to be aware of. Unfortunately, they don’t appear to have many topping options which I truly enjoy. The bowl was good, but it was SPICY. I prefer a zing rather than a burn, but I did enjoy the power of their spicy tuna. Not sure it is enough to bring me back, but I wanted to share my thoughts.

Choppa Poke – Menu with Prices – 716 State St, Santa Barbara

I was actually on my way to a different poke place when I found out that was closed/under construction. I was sad until I turned around and happened to see Choppa Poke right there! Made me so happy that I was still going to be having poke bowl tonight for dinner. I walked in and it was super clean. Really neat set up because they have rolled ice cream on one side and poke bowls on the other side. I have always wanted to try the rolled ice cream but I was only focused on dinner first so I will have to come back another time. Poke bowl was delicious. I had a small bowl, which is 2 protein scoops. The medium is 3 scoops and the large is 4. Just $2.00 extra for each additional scoop/size larger. I personally had spicy tuna and ahi tuna for my two protein scoops mixed with spicy garlic and spicy (something else) sauce (sorry I forget the names). I chose the “sushi rice” as I love sticky rice. Then I added on fried garlic, avocado, seaweed salad, edamame, and imitation crab. It was nice of the staff member to offer suggestions for toppings because I was not sure what sounded the best to put on it! There are plenty of spots to sit inside, or take it to go. Looks like you can also order takeout and get it delivered.

Poké Poké – Menu with Prices – 600 Williamson St k3, Madison

Delicious poke with large variety of toppings and great portions! Service was typical for fast casual-setting. I chose to order the “create your own poke”. I selected brown rice, a mix of ahi tuna and salmon along with a variety of toppings (a few highlights of toppings I haven’t seen at other local poke shops included pickled radish, tobiko). Avocado cost extra but my order literally came with half of an avocado on top of my poke, so I ended up sharing some of my avocado with my family members who didn’t order avocado. For sauce, I chose the wasabi mayo sauce and chose to have it on the side so I could dress my poke to taste. I was really impressed by the poke bowl – fresh ingredients, good value for portion size, delicious sauce. They also have a great self-serve condiment bar (including wasabi, white and pink ginger, selection of furikake [japanese rice seasoning]) as well as complimentary self-serve beverages (tea and lemon-infused water — though of note, there was no water available when we visited due to issues with water pipes according to the owner, so he offered us complimentary bottled water).

Blue Ocean Poke Menu with Prices 2151 N Federal Hwy, Boca Raton

My friend and I try to get together at least 2 to 3 times a month for lunch to try new restaurants and different cuisines. This week was her turn and I have to admit she hit a homerun with Blue Ocean Poke. Tucked away in a shopping center on the southeast corner of Hillsboro and Federal is this 3 month old restaurant. From what I understand, poke originated Hawaii, made its way to California and then migrated east. The concept of creating your own poke bowl get your creative juices flowing and is a lot of fun. First, you choose your base of your bowl (brown rice, white rice, quinoa or lettuce). Then, you choose your protein (tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, shrimp or tofu). A small poke bowl is $9.99 and comes with one scoop of protein. I am a big eater and this was plenty for me. Once you have your base and protein chosen you delve into all of the sides and sauces they have to offer. I felt like I was going overboard, but the gentleman making my bowl kept shaking his head and telling me â??no, you get unlimited toppings and sauces.â? I canâ??t even remember all that I got but I know it was a base of white rice with spicy tuna. Then I added cucumbers, seaweed, jalapeños, radishes, spiral cut zucchini, eel sauce, spicy coconut sauce, fried shallots, crispy Nori and probably a few other things I forgot. My friend went with the salmon, brown rice and a multitude of other toppings and sauces. Both of us were very happy both with the company and our lunches. For first timers or those nervous about creating their own bowls, they do have three or four pre-designed bowls (Still made fresh to order though) that you can just order. I highly recommend a trip to Blue Ocean Poke and look forward to the opportunity for me to go visit again. Great job guys!

Ahi Hibachi and Poke Menu with Prices 489 E Clayton St, Athens

My absolute favorite poke spot in terms of quality and price! You just can’t beat it. My friend recommended me this place back in April and I think I’ve been here almost every week since! Food: Their poke bowl is so good!! I tend to get a large bowl with 3 proteins and fill up on toppings. Their salmon tastes fresh, and their shrimps are a good size! Their portions on their protein definitely is not as skimpy as some other places in Athens or Atlanta. Today I got a regular poke bowl though with salmon and shrimp. My toppings were masago, tempura flakes, avocado (extra $), and corn. Usually when I get a large bowl, I’ll add the ahi tuna. Their tuna does tend to taste a little frozen though, not as fresh. I also don’t recommend the spicy tuna but that’s more of a texture thing for me since the rice is already soft with the masago. I have had their hibachi before though and it’s subpar. I would dock a star for it but since I just go for their poke bowl, I kept it at 5. Price: I paid $9.99 for my regular bowl and I had leftovers. It normally would be less than ~$10 but I added avocado. Usually I get the large bowl and that totals out around ~$13 but I almost always never finish it in one sitting! For the price, the portions are generous and I usually have enough for later in the day or early tomorrow morning. Service: I fill out a little paper form for my poke bowl which I actually love that they do this. It lessens my anxiety and I know I’ll get it exactly how I want it since there’d be no miscommunication from having to yell over the counter. I don’t really interact with the workers outside of just handing them the paper and checking out. They don’t greet or say goodbye either when customers go in or out. I don’t really care about that though but I guess some people would. They always bring me my order when I’m waiting though even if it’s a to-go, so I appreciate that. Place: While it is good for group dining, it is humid inside and kind of hard to hear even when there’s no one inside due to the vents. I usually order to-go so it’s not a problem. Overall: I love this place and it is my go-to spot for dinner. I even order this on Postmates when I don’t feel like making the drive (which is a big deal considering it’s upcharged $4… but WORTH IT). Please go here and not the super expensive PokeBar all the way on Epps Bridge!

Poke Bistro – Menu with Prices – 2570 S Vineyard Ave B, Ontario

Had a chance to grab lunch here. Figured that poke bowls are keto but after eating I think I might have got some ingredients that got me out of ketosis because I could taste the sweetness such as in the seaweed salad, oh well. It’s not the greatest value here for the price you pay and what you get but haven’t compared it to other local poke spots. I just know you get way more food for the price in L.A. The concept is basic, select either burrito, regular (3 scoops poke), large (5 scoops) or Inari 3/3 fish toppings. Then Step 2 is to select a base with the following choices: o White rice o Brown rice o Rice amd salad o Salad Then you can get 1 of each the following: o Avocado $1 extra o Crab meat o Seaweed salad o Cucumber salad o Green onion o Ginger o Pineapple o Edemame o Jalapeño o Cilantro Step 4 is fish of choice: Salmon Spicy salmon Tuna Spicy tuna Cooked shrimp Octopus Crawfish Scallop Sauces are the added: Ponzu, sesame oil, spicy mayo, creamy lemon, eel sauce Step 6: Furikake, Nori, wasabi and masago Burrito is $7.99 Regular is $8.99 Large is $11.99 Inari is $8.99 Pretty good overall in taste and service is friendly. They have Happy Hour 3-5 pm Monday thru Friday when you can get free ramen or miso soup with a bowl purchase. A cup of Korean ramen bowl is $4.99 and Avocado Poke cups are $2.99. I’d come back if I’m in the area.

All About Poke – Menu with Prices – 1916 Colorado Blvd, Los Angeles

(+) Salmon My girlfriend was recommended to All About Poke by a coworker so we decided to stop by. This was my first experience with poke, and I was content with my first visit. Food: We both weren’t really hungry, so we shared a medium bowl, which comes with three scoops of fish, and as many toppings as you’d like. We ordered the house sauce, which is a soy sauce based sauce that wasn’t overpowering, but hit the spot. It wasn’t a thick sauce either. We also elected for the white rice, which was cooked a little on the hard side. The fish is good quality, but not the best salmon I’ve had. The tuna was also good. With all of the flavors and different toppings in the bowl, it is hard to determine what’s what and all gets mixed around anyways. Service: The employee welcomed us and was kind. She explained things to us kindly since it was our first time there. Atmosphere: It is more of a take out place and there were no other parties when we walked in. The tables and counters were clean and the restaurant is brightly lit. Parking: There is a parking lot; however, there are only two parking spaces that I saw that were designed for All about Poke. Seems like a low number to me, but that just shows that most people must grab their poke bowls and enjoy it at home. Overall, I was satisfied and content with my first poke bowl visit. I’m not a huge poke fan, but I would recommend it for their variety of options and the quality of their fish.

Fish Bowl Poke – Menu with Prices – 2330 Preston Rd Ste300, Frisco

My absolute favorite poke spot by far. Food: I haven’t tried their signature bowls yet because I really love my customized regular bowl which consists of half sushi rice, half salad, salmon, spicy tuna, tossed in spicy soy with crab meat, sweet onions, avocado, jalapenos, tempura flakes, sesame seeds, and green onions with spicy mayo and eel sauce on the side. Their fishes and toppings are always the freshest. Also, they don’t make their sauces really overwhelming in flavor to the point where it tastes artificial. Some people may think that $10.95 is ovepriced for a regular bowl of poke, but they don’t realize that other poke restaurants will charge you a few dollars for “special toppings” like masago, avocado, crab meat, etc. and it’ll come out to be about the same price if not even more. Environment: It’s nothing too special and pretty, but it is a nice place to stay a while and enjoy your meal. Very open; I believe there’s about 10 tables, but I’ve never seen this place packed like that for you not to find a spot for yourself. Service: I always order at the kiosk to avoid talking to anyone. When I pick up my food, the staff is really nice and make sure your food looks up to your standard, they also ask if you need any extra sauces, utensils, etc.

Glacier Bowl and Poke Menu with Prices 12100 Old Seward Hwy, Anchorage

I really want to like this place but it keeps disappointing me with its menu changes. The first time I went I wanted a salmon poke bowl, but they were out of salmon so I got tuna instead. I went there again after work today and the guy there told me they don’t even have salmon any more. Why have it on the menu then? Also, the first time I went you could choose either a teriyaki sauce or a spicy sauce to put on top of your poke. This time the guy just asked me if I wanted it spicy at all. The poke did have a good amount of spice, but the sauce they had was much better. Lastly, the first time I went there you got a little bit of their calamari salad (which I did really enjoy) with your poke, even if you ordered tuna or another item. This time, only the poke, seaweed salad, and some mashed up avocado/guacamole concoction. The food itself is pretty good, but the inconsistency in the menu makes me less inclined to come back. If they’re going to have such few options then I’d rather go elsewhere.
