We stayed at the AC Hotel for 8 nights in June 2019. I was worried about such a long stay at a hotel with limited service (the hotel has no restaurant), but it was not a problem. As a Marriott titanium member, I received free breakfasts for myself and my husband each day, and the breakfasts were very good. In addition to warm quiche and hot oatmeal on the buffet, each breakfast included cooked-to-order eggs. Fresh sliced prosciutto was a nice substitute for bacon (and was almost always available) The croissants and coffee cake slices were excellent. There was always some fresh fruit and artisan bread, sausage, cheese, and hard boiled eggs.We asked for and received a microwave for the week, which, paired with the refrigerator, allowed some shopping at the nearby Safeway. There was some bar food and a nice barbecue available each night, but really, you will want to eat at some the many good restaurants within walking distance. We did not have a car – our business appointments were very close – so the valet parking and fee were not relevant. We took the corner room upgrade for an extra $10/night, and were glad for the extra space and light from two angles. But our windows were disappointingly small and there was not much of a view. However, we found the furniture quite comfortable and were able to use the small open closet and drawers for some clothes; our suitcases sat nicely on the bench for the week. The bed was comfortable – typical of all Marriott’s.The bathroom was spacious; it had a large walk-in shower with nice fixtures. It took three days to get the shower door fixed – it did not close tight and water escaped to the floor unless the door was propped closed. We also ran out of toilet paper once and low a second time. The hotel is new and some of its responses to problems could have been better. All-in-all, we would certainly stay there again, if for nothing else, then for the really good breakfasts.

WXYZ Lounge Chesapeake – Menu with Prices – 1454 Crossways Blvd, Chesapeake

Overall, I really like this hotel. The modern look, clean lines, and minimalistic rooms are perfect for people who are tired of the other hotel chains. The room was absolutely stunning. We had a king bed with two desks on either side of a wall-mounted TV. It would have been nice to have 2 desk chairs instead of just one, but that’s just being picky. The room feels very spacious because there isn’t unnecessary furniture like big dressers and tv stands. This may sound silly, but I really like the color scheme; bright and vibrant, but not too over the top. BEST PART OF THE ROOM has got to be the number of outlets! I’m not even kidding you; there’s one on each desk (one that has 2 USB ports), one on each night stand, one on each wall on the side of the bed, and then one in the bathroom. These guys really know that people have multiple devices and that in other hotels, the struggle is real. The bathroom is laid out very nicely with a sliding door to give the toilet and shower privacy from the sink. The shower had very good water pressure and hot water so that’s always a plus too. The seal on the door for the shower isn’t the greatest so it allows a lot of water to spray out so make sure you’re careful when getting out. In that same area is the “closet” but it’s situated weird: only has room for 4 hangers (see attached picture). Also, there’s a weird shelf that doesn’t seem practical for anything other that skinny alcohol bottles (see attached picture). There’s a pretty chill area near the lobby with a pool table, rocking chairs, and a nice bar as well (called w xyz). Another cool thing is that they also have nightly entertainment starting at 8pm. It’s nice to go down and chill, but on the downside, you can also hear it in your room as well; not really that great if you’re trying to watch something on the tv or trying to concentrate while doing work. Another plus a of the hotel is that it is dog friendly. I sometimes need to bring my dog with me during work travel, so it’s really nice they have that. There is plenty of grass around the property (even though you’re surrounded by parking lot) to walk Fido. If you book ahead, be sure to try to get ground level to make it easier on yourself: we booked last-minute and we on the second floor so it was just a short elevator ride away. The on-site gym is always a nice plus even though equipment is minimal; at least it is clean. They have a few yoga mats, treadmills, bicycles, ellipticals, and free weights as well as a machine that allows you to select different configurations. There is also a water cooler there too. The indoor pool area seems nice enough but didn’t look like anything to write home about. All in all, I would love to stay here again if I’m in the area. The staff was very nice and accommodating and seemed very professional.

Sagamore Pendry Baltimore Menu with Prices 1715 Thames St, Baltimore

Many claim the Pendry is a gem. That wasnâ??t the case for me, although there were many positives, such as never having to wait for the elevator. However, after exiting the elevator to walk to my room, I had to pass a utility closet that was open, exposing buckets and ladders, etc. What an eyesore. Why didnâ??t housekeeping close the door? . . I appreciated getting a cold bottle of water upon check in. The room had a mini bar but there was no price list. . . There was plenty of storage space, which I didnâ??t use for my one-night stay. I didnâ??t find a safe but was told upon checkout that it was hidden in a bureau drawer. . . The description of my room read â??Deluxe Harbor Room 1 King Balcony Prime Harbor View Sitting Area Work Space Com WiFi 340 Sqft.â? The balcony and view were attractive. In the room, there was a comfortable wingback chair, but a photo on the website pictures a sofa at the foot of the bed. There was no desk. After departing I was informed that there is a tray under the TV that pulls out and I could call reception to have a chair delivered. That would have been a tight squeeze, and advertised â??work spaceâ? shouldnâ??t require such effort on the part of a guest. . . Other issues: . â?¢When I called the front desk, I had to hold for 18 rings. . â?¢The floor of the room was sticky but I was there for such a short time, I didnâ??t report it. . â?¢The toilet was in its own alcove. The bathroom had one sink and a shower. You need to know how to turn the spouts of the soap and shampoo dispensers to get the liquid to flow. . â?¢The only place to hang bath towels was on the handle to the shower. . â?¢For a room costing over $600 a night, I expected plusher toilet paper. . â?¢The pool was lovely but there was no changing room. I felt uncomfortable walking through the hotel wrapped in the bathrobe that was provided.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Corpus Christi – Menu with Prices – 5213 Oakhurst Dr, Corpus Christi

New, CLEAN, well-maintained, modern hotel. King-sized room had a good layout, tasteful decor and high ceilings. The room had everything you could want – love seat, writing desk, refrigerator (nice size, not the really small one), microwave and in-room coffee. The mattress was a little firmer than some, but I found it comfortable. The bathroom had a nice vanity with shelves where you could put your things and granite counter tops. The shower faucet was actually normal (seems like hotel shower faucets are always so difficult to use). The bathroom was stocked with plenty of thick, thirsty towels. A fairly substantial hot breakfast was served which included eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, a pancake machine, yogurt, fruit, cereals, cinnamon rolls, muffins, etc. Coffee/tea was available 24/7 in the breakfast room and there was a refrigerator in the lobby with additional food items for sale. The staff was very helpful. All in all an excellent hotel experience. The only drawback was the location. It was off the frontage road near Outback Steakhouse, two other hotels and right behind a sleazy-looking bar. I stayed on a Friday night and was a bit worried that there would be noise, but there wasn’t enough to bother me. However, someone who is a light sleeper might not be comfortable. Maybe asking for a room on the front side of the hotel would be the answer. I’d give the hotel itself a 5, but the location knocks it down a bit, hence the 4.

Aloft Raleigh-Durham Airport Brier Creek – Menu with Prices – 10020 Sellona St, Raleigh

I stayed at this property during a quick work trip. It’s very close to the Raleigh airport, and the property looks exactly like the pictures on the website (most hotels DO NOT). The staff was extremely friendly, and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I’m not sure if the hotel is new or not, but the restaurant menus are VERY SLIM….especially after 10 PM. I understand having a reduced menu, but for people who stay longer than 2 days, there’s gotta be more than salad, hot wings, and hamburgers to eat. Also, the breakfast menu might as well not exist. It’s very “trendy” food, but nothing you would actually associate with breakfast. And there are no additions/changes. You get what you get! As for the sleeping rooms, they are very nice, and the beds are super comfortable. I got a double room (requested a King), but the bathroom was very nice and the water was super hot (also a rarity for hotels). The one thing that struck me as odd is that there are all these advertisements on the property about “keyless entry” and using the mobile app to unlock your door, but the property isn’t equipped for that (at the time of my stay). And while this has nothing to do with the hotel, the location is NOT great for having food delivered either. Overall, I’m not sure if I would stay here again. It wasn’t a bad stay at all, but it also didn’t make me want to stay here again. Happy Traveling!

Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino – Menu with Prices – 5040 Wild Horse Pass Blvd, Chandler

We had a south corner balcony suite, on the 2nd floor of the hotel (all the balcony rooms are on 2). It was very comfortable and convenient, as the gym and coffee shop were on the same level, and we could take the escalator or stairs down one level to the main lobby, restaurants, casino, etc. without waiting for elevators. The balcony overlooks the pool, and though it was very hot, it was nice to be able to step outside, and in the early morning or evening, it was pleasant to sit out there. One thing I did forget was the prevalence of crickets in this areaâ?¦saw one on the balcony, and a couple of them got inside. So, if you are phobic about critters, maybe select a room without a balcony.. . The suite itself was quite spacious. Thereâ??s a full kitchen, but oddly, not a single dish or utensil (what are all those cabinets for?). I suppose they might be available on request, but we ended up not using it so didnâ??t ask. There was a Keurig coffee maker. The bathroom had a huge long counter with dual sinks, and a toilet and shower room separated by a glass door. The shower had a handheld in addition to the rain shower head. However, no one thought to provide a soap dish or shelf â?? toiletries had to be placed on the floor, and we precariously balanced the bar of soap on the handheld shower bracket. Really annoying when they overlook small but essential details like that. The bed was comfortable, good lighting and plenty of bedside electrical outlets. Appreciated the plentiful drawer and closet space.. . The pool area was nice and uncrowded during our stay, particularly on weekdays. There are lots of umbrellas among the lounge chairs, and attentive service from the bar/restaurant. They play music at the pool and different music at the bar, loudly â?? so if you sit anywhere near that end of the pool, youâ??re listening to both of them compete, and they refuse to turn either one down/off. We moved to the other end of the pool, problem solved â?? but really, why?. . The onsite restaurants are decent, and they have gelato in the coffee shop. Valet parking was quick to retrieve our car and have it waiting by the time we got downstairs, air conditioning on, and offered us cold bottled water too.. . We were there for a concert; we didn’t gamble so can’t comment on the casino. There’s a small outlet mall just down the road, the hotel offers a free shuttle and it would be walkable if the weather is right. Other than that, there’s nothing in the immediate area.

Curtiss Hotel – Menu with Prices – 210 Franklin St, Buffalo

Very pretty hotel but…checked in very late on Friday night and the hotel was party city with large groups of people all over. Got to my room on the second floor, crawled into bed exhausted only to find loud party goers in the hall till nearly 5 am. I could also hear every conversation through the walls from my neighbors, loud music from other rooms and babies crying. Am I in Motel 6?? On my last night someone ran up and down the halls at midnight screaming and crying. What the heck. I just want to ad that although my room was “pretty” there was not a comfortable chair in the room. There was a hard chair at the desk in front of the tv, a hard stool in front of the vanity in the bathroom and other than the bed there was not a soft comfortable chair in the room. So if you wish to read it’s the bed or nothing. It would be better to have a comfortable reading chair and ottoman in a corner of the room in which to read or relax. So for me, as I said, it’s a pretty hotel but it needs a lot of upgrades for the ratings it has. Because of the expense to stay here my traveling companions chose to stay in another hotel a block away. Honestly, their room was very user friendly and comfortable. But you make your own choice and gather your own opinions. I just know I will never stay here again.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Little Rock – Menu with Prices – 424 W Markham St, Little Rock

So far, I am extremely disappointed with this hotel. I normally love all of the Hilton honors hotels but after an extremely long wait to check-in due to another guest having issues, (not the hotels fault) I get to my room and all I want to do shower and get to bed. Unfortunately, the toilet in my bathroom is broken, and there is no hot water in my shower or sink. Okay I get it, stuff happens. I call the front desk to get a new room, they don’t have any comparable rooms available, or upgrades, so I get a downgraded room and the hotel staff aren’t yet able to add extra points to my account or otherwise compensate me for a completely disrupted night. Hopefully tomorrow this will be rectified, if it is, I will certainly change this review to reflect that but as it stands I’m very dissatisfied. EDIT: Day two of my business travels and this hotel has handled the issues that were present wonderfully. The staff here tended to my needs, kept me Informed about the process and decisions, and more than compensated for my troubles. I’m quite pleased with how the staff handled the adversity and will more than likely stay here the next time I’m in town.

Marquis at Stone Oak – Menu with Prices – 24345 Wilderness Oak, San Antonio

Where to begin??? From day 1 of living here til one year later moving out, I have been been over-charged for a cottage that other residents only pay $1900 for a year, I was charged $2300 every month. This was due the fact of new ownership taking over Marquis and for ONE MONTH I had no maintenance guys to come and fix my 2 cracked and broken toilets in the master and guest bath and the master shower not working and inconveniencing me for a month to have to walk across the cottage to use guest shower and half bath toilet at front door FOR A MONTH before they fixed it. Yes was real great, waking up at night to go pee and have to walk all the way from master bedroom in back to the front of the hour by door entry to go pee everyday and night! Next also, not even a month moving into the place mid July, hottest days (100’s) their old outdated AC unit goes out!!! I had just invested in a $150 platinum black air filter I purchased against allergies etc; they take out my brand-new filter throw it away and replace it with their cheap $2 plastic Walmart filter, thinking the filter was the issue. Still no AC this day, I have a service dog who is coming close from heat-stroke at this point with 87 degrees in my house and 100+ degrees outside! I had to purchase a Dyson air-fan for my bedroom for $500 just so I can breathe in my room, but still hot. The maintenance guy named Rick I believe could NOT figure out that the AC coil had a hole in it for the next 3-4 days until finally strapping duct-tape around the coil and the AC slowly started running again, but since it was not fixed correctly (not providing me a new coil) he instead duct-taped it and I was being charged $500+ a month for AC having to run extra hard to give air! (I live by myself and always have my air on 75 even in the summer) forward not even a year later, mid-June my AC goes out again in the hottest days that week (over 100+) they finally realized oh shoot “well maybe let’s just get a new AC unit since this one was kaputt.” It was Memorial Day weekend, so they had to order it and again another 4 days of no AC and this time it was so unbearable, my dog and I had to spend 4 nights in a hotel while waiting on new AC unit!!!! Mkk. That’s first, second WHILE living here I came home to my cottage being flooded 3 times!!!!! Not once, not twice, BUT 3 times!!! First one was the kitchen sink connector came out and destroyed ALL my cleaning products underneath sink, second the dishwasher broke and flooded entire kitchen, causing my I-robot to run through water and broke my $1,000 iRobot vacuum, they replaced the old dishwasher with a new one. Third and last Flood was the WORST, the water tank in my garage busted and I come home from working 18hrs in Austin to not only my garage flooded, but also my entire laundry room and into my kitchen and living room!!!!! I cried and cried! My LG washer and dryer $3k destroyed!!! A few weeks later I go into my coat closet which is directly behind the wall where water-tank exploded, water went through the walls and caused BLACK MOLD in my coat closet from water damage from water tank. So god knows how long my service dog and I have been inhaling black mold!!! At least 3 weeks, as it was summer time and didn’t touch my winter coat closet next to guest bathroom until I was looking for a blazer in there and then noticed the mold! You can see in the pictures that did not happen overnight from the water leak!!! With AC not functioning for 10+ days not working while I lived there, no rebates taking off my rent for one month no shower or toilet working in my master, not for AC not working (which is one of the emergency essentials of living somewhere) no rebates or deduction on my rent for having to purchase an air-fan for my bedroom, no deduction of my rent when I showed them my hotel bill I had to stay at, or my service dog would’ve overheated! No refund for my $150 brand-new allergen filter I bought, they threw it out and put a $2 cheap plastic Walmart filter on! Didn’t even have it for

Beechwood Hotel – Menu with Prices – 363 Plantation St, Worcester

We stayed in Beechwood hotel the night before we were moving into our new residence down the road. The signage is large and easy to spot. The outside looks very nice. We actually arrived at like 1:30am because we drove up from Philly the evening before and concierge was present and readily available at that time. We called to make sure that check in time would be acceptable and the staff member responded, “it’s your hotel room, you can check in whenever you’d like”. The guy who was checking us in was a little bit chatty for 1:30am after a long drive. He made fun of me slightly in a jovial way but I wasn’t particularly in the mood. Normally, I’m down for a good roast but I was tired and just wanted to go to sleep. He was friendly, and my companion who had escaped unscathed enjoyed it but I found it a bit irritating. The restaurant is very close by but breakfast is not free. Not that I care, but FYI for people that are interested in hotel breakfast. The inside of the hotel and the room itself is very regal in appearance. The little door hangers have been replaced by buttons on the wall to indicate your preference for cleaning. The room was extremely spacious, one of the largest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom itself was amazing. There were numerous, extremely soft towels. The shower water pressure was like a fire hose. Don’t even attempt to wash just your body with your hair in a bun because the power wash shower head will leave water ricocheting all over. This is not a complaint in any capacity, I love that shit. The bed itself was also very comfortable with cozy sheets. The bathroom has a NIGHTLIGHT. How many times have you been forced to leave the bathroom door closed with the bathroom light on to avoid bumping into shit and stubbing toes? I wish every place had a nightlight. Staying in this hotel has been a great experience! I would definitely recommend it.

Renaissance Asheville Hotel Menu with Prices 31 Woodfin St, Asheville

I loved the location of this hotel and that they allowed our pet to join us! It was easy to walk into downtown and there was a nice area to walk your pet. The decor was very modern and our room was clean. We had a nice view from our room and enjoyed having nice big windows. Go up to the top floor for an even better view. There is a nice outside patio seating that the hotel offers as well! The bed wasn’t comfortable for my husband and I. It was very soft and the mattress slept hot. It was also hard to regulate the temperature in our room. The bathroom was decent and had a good shower. The shower curtain was dirty and the toilet sprays water out when flushed. Also the toilet itself was old. We didn’t have very good hot water one day. The bathroom also had a sliding door that doesn’t offer a lot of privacy. There is ample parking here but some spaces require a hike. I didn’t mind that so much because it was nice to have free parking! I had pleasant experiences with the staff I interacted with.

Hotel at the Lafayette Trademark Collection by Wyndham – Menu with Prices – 391 Washington St, Buffalo

Stayed here for one night as a get-away to attend an event at nearby Canalside. We were so impressed with the restoration of this grand hotel. The attention to detail is outstanding. The lobby is gorgeous. We peeked into the banquet rooms and they are stunning. Would be beautiful for a wedding or event. Our room was the executive suite. tall ceilings, lots of windows, beautiful kitchenette, fireplace, flat screen TV’s. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was European style: open shower next to tub. Beautiful tile. We loved it. Had breakfast and coffee at Public on the first level-was absolutely delicious. Everything from scratch. We enjoyed some drinks in the tap room/restaurant, was great. Bar is historic and beautiful too. We were able to walk to Canalside and dinner. (Sato Brewpub, was amazing). We loved this hotel and would stay here again for sure.

Bespoke Inn Scottsdale – Menu with Prices – 3701 N Marshall Way, Scottsdale

I received a message to let me know that the office closed at 6 pm, with detailed instructions for entry into my room. Rather than risk the hassle after a 14 hour day, I arrived at 5:50 pm only to find the office closed. Disappointing, but they had provided all that I would need to enter, so not a big deal. The temperature that day was over 114 degrees, so I was wilting, and after about a half dozen attempts to enter using their fancy door lock, it was clear that I was not going to get in before I fainted. I sat down and called the number that they provided in the excellent instructions and was greeted by a friendly voice determined to get me into my room. The problem was a door that tends to stick, so the code and bolt wonâ??t work. She was aware of the problem. In such an otherwise pleasant hotel, I suggest that the door be fixed so guests are not left to fumble with a known problem. The suite was spacious and beautifully furnished. The bed was comfortable, and I seldom am comfortable in hotel beds. The bathroom has a slipper tub and a separate rain shower.I did not eat in the restaurant or look around the neighborhood as I was too tired.Unfortunately, at 7:30 am, I was jolted awake by loud workers around the outside area of the hotel. I hoped that it was rubbish collection and then it would become quiet again, but that was not the case. I am not sure what is going on in the vicinity but the guests should be warned when booking so that they can decide if this is suitable lodging for them, and given ear plugs on the bedside tables.I hope to return when the weather is cooler, and when the work is completed.
