I love this place as I’ve been a loyal customer for years at another location and since we moved, I’ve been coming to this location for two months now. The staff have been amazing and friendly until this morning. Young gal took my order and I usually order breakfast and lunch so i don’t have to leave on lunch. Why don’t they have their soup “at temp” by the time they open?! First time for this! It’s been an hour since they’ve opened for the day, so I didn’t get soup :(. So I ordered my usually salad, NO bacon and add chicken, a breakfast parfait and cold brew coffee. Came up to window and she handed me salad with tons of bacon & i said I asked for NO bacon & handed back to her. She looked at it disgustingly and super annoyed that she had to make another one. Then she handed me everything else and i asked for a spoon in addition to the fork she handed me. That was a total inconvenience i guess. I suppose I was to use the fork for both the salad and parfait?? Then i drove off, almost to the stoplight down the street, I noticed she didn’t hand me a straw! Grrrr! I have a long drive to downtown phx and I had to turn around, get out of the car and walk up to the window and ask for a straw. Super annoyed at this point but honestly, advice to “young gal”, leave your crappy attitude at home if you dislike dealing with customers. You’re tainting the friendly atmosphere of Gilbert! Customer service is HUGE, so get with the program or stay home!!!

Rheas Hot Links – Menu with Prices – 201-229 South Oakland Avenue, 204 S Fannin Ave, Tyler

Well today, I went to hot link place for my husband to take to his job. Normally the ladies are great always. But, we have noticed the last 3 visits havnt been that plesant from just (1) employee. But, we will still speak but her attitude us nonchalant. Anyway, today she came to window, didnt speak, and I ordered. Then came back gave me price and I gave her my card. Told her the chip doesn’t work as I handed to her. She looked at me, and still took it. About 5mins later, she comes back and says, my card dont work. Well, 1st of all, it works fine but the reason I told her in advance is for her to do it as credit or without chip usage. Anyway, i told her, I will give her cash. She handed her hand out for my cash, but still had my debit card. I told her to give my card 1st, then I gave her a $50 bill. She took a min and came back with $26 change. I looked at her funny and asked where my receipt she said since I didnt pay with card, I cant get a receipt. I asked how much was it again, she looked at me with a attitude and said, its right. $13 from $50 is $26 and I told her its incorrect and then she shut window on me and started talking to other worker. I bought 14 links, which she gave him the smallest links in there and a strawberry fanta, no ice. Maybe she gaving a bad day. But, lately she has acted this way. Idk way, i haven’t done anything to her and idk her either well. I drove around to front door, went in with food and money. Told the smaller dark lady, who is always sweet and she asked what i bought, told her and still that lady tried to say, 50-13=26, and thats what i gave you. Well, im not dumb, but I know how to count. So instead of arguing, i pulled out my phn to calculator, then she hurried up and said, or yea..I owe you $10. Laid it on counter and walked away. I told my hubby when i took him the food and he tut old me to report it. He said, he was proud of me, cause normally i goes off about my money. But, I have grown alot and tries to be better. She still had a attutude, vut you tried to CHEAT ME, but mad at me. I dont get that. How many people does, she do like this daily that she THINKS, DONT COUNT THEIR MONEY. My husband is bad about not counting his, but I DONT PLAY LIKE THAT. He eats at Rheas at least weekly, and before he had his seizures last yr. He ate 3 times a week faithfully on lunch break of after work. Smh at her.

Peach’s Restaurant – Creekwood – Menu with Prices – 7315 52nd Pl E, Bradenton

My wife and I and our 5 mo. old granddaughter visited Peaches for breakfast. The server Nicole, was excellent as usual. After our drinks were served, my wife asked if I would get her a straw (the restaurant was busy) and I asked a server standing by the cook’s window if I could get a straw, she gave me two. As I turned to go back to my table, I grabbed a bottle of Cholula for my egg white omelet. I heard someone from the cook’s window yell ‘GET OUT, YOU ARE GOING TO GET SUED (I thought he said shot) and I put my Cholula back and hurried to my table . My wife asked who was yelling at me (I discovered it was Eugene, the manager). I am a 75 year old man with high blood pressure, and needless to say, I was scared. I hope the owners will have a talk with Eugene. Incidentally my Casey Key omelet was filled with bacon chips (wonder If Eugene did that ! I will go back as I enjoy the food and service , ONE BAD EGG CAN SPOIL THINGS .

Scooter’s Coffee – Menu with Prices – 5 Old 63 S, Columbia

I usually go to Starbucks on Broadway which I hate becausr ya know so i made a point to go to scooters. I asked for a medium mocha, the drive thru girl asked if i wanted that hot or cold. In my head i remember thinking why do they even ask that when it’s -15 °F and told her hot. When i got to the window they handed me a cold mocha, which looked great but not what i asked for. Usually I would live with the mistake cause i HATE making service industry people do more work that necessary (im a waitress) but i decided I would be unhappy if i didnt voice the error because just to clarify, I really wanted a hot mocha. I say it in the nicest, shyest, we all make mistakes sorta way as to make sure she didnt get upset or annoyed. The drive thru window girl then proceeded to disagree with me I said cold, almost argue…which was just awkward and i tried to give the mocha back that i hadnt even pulled through my window and she refused which i understand for health code but i wasn’t trying to get a cold mocha so it makes sense I would try to give it back. Scooters then does remake the hot mocha, but they had the manager give it to me and nobody said youre welcome when i said thank you or sorry, just “yup”. Pretty rude and i wouldn’t go back because the Starbucks on Broadway weirdly goes out of their way to be extra friendly and accomodating. And the prices are the same but they arent rude, EVER and i consider this starbucks super superior to any ive been to. Scooters made their own coffee taste bad to me, bad enough to leave this review. And with Starbucks right their, a giant competitor, I would have thought harder about how to treat customers in that manner. Won’t be going back! Hope they dont make you feel like human trash for telling them of their own mistakes in the nicest way possible!

Subway Restaurants – Menu with Prices – Little Creek Shoppes, 3858 E Little Creek Rd Space 21, Norfolk

Hated it went in with a good mood left without it. I went to order my sandwich and asked for my spinage to be added before it gets toasted [i like the chesse melted on it] to which the lady with the noes ring rolled her eyes i was confused but didnt say anything about it. She walked off and finished another customers sandwhich and when she came and set mine up i mentioned “the spinage will need to be covered cause it will burn” after seeing she placed it on its own side rather then under the cheese she snaps at me saying she knows and they dont ussualy do it this way then picked up all the meat and cheese and flopped them on the spinage side. I have PTSD from a incident in my teen years and at that point her snapping at me made my heart rate increase and i cassualy asked my boyfriend for the car keys to “get my phone” wich was just so i could go outside for a sec to calm my heart rate. Went back in and luckily he was done with her and handed me my cup i went over and was annoyed again seeing no tea of any kind i dont drink soda and reluctantly got viatamin water. Went to sit and eat unhappily i came in excited and happy to eat before going to the garden nearby but left in a less then happy mood i get it was easter and she probbaly didnt want to be there but the way she acts was NOT acceptable and made me not only have a episode but wrened my day.

Hidden Valley Deli Menu with Prices 1750 112th Ave NE C34, Bellevue

Connie is the sweetest woman ever. She always says hi when you enter, and always knows what I want. For breakfast: Bacon breakfast burrito and a mocha. I don’t know what it is, it’s just eggs, cheese and bacon, but boy do I love that burrito. The mocha isn’t anything special. But $2.75 for a double shot 12 oz mocha really can’t be beat. The Croissant sandwiches are really good too, but lately I just can’t say no to the breakfast burritos. Lunch: -I love the chicken and wild rice soup she has on Monday’s. $3 for a filling 12 oz bowl of soup is really a great deal, that doesn’t leave me in a food coma for the rest of the day. -French Dip sandwich. I love French Dip sandwiches, and sadly, I doubt I have found any better in the area, especially for the price, which includes some surprisingly good potato salad. -The Zesty:Roast beef, bacon, cheddar cheese and mayo on toasted bread. So Tasty. -The Reuben. I know, it’s at a Deli in Bellevue made by a Korean woman, but it’s surprisingly good and consistent. Dessert: I Love, love, love the giant chocolate chip cookies. She always remembers little things about my orders too. No Salsa for my burrito. No mustard on my sandwiches. They turn out the food very quickly, even when they are busy. Get there early though, or else the daily hot special or the soup may be gone after 1pm. I’m personally not a fan of the teriyaki special, but the mac n cheese is good, and there is bimbibap, lasagna, chicken pot pie, etc. The only down side is that she charges .50 cents for credit cards for orders under $5. I understand, but it often deters me from getting a mocha in the morning, or soup for lunch, because I never have cash.

Pendleton Carryout Co. Menu with Prices 807 Pendleton St, Alexandria

really sad to be posting this because I loved all of their food offerings when they first opened. However, over the last few months the staff has changed, the hours have changed, and so has the food quality. My boyfriend and I loved coming in in the mornings for the breakfast sandwiches. Last week, the woman at the counter yelled at my boyfriend for walking into the open door at 10:55 am because they weren’t open for another five minutes, and then curtly told him they don’t have breakfast sandwiches in, speaking as if it was his fault that he had asked. today the people at the counter had their headphones in and didnt even fully take them out to take our order. Over the past month, they didn’t have the ingredients several times, and today they gave us a sandwich that not only didn’t have the fluffy scrambled eggs we were used to, but the egg was chopped up and not fully cooked through, the cheese wasn’t melted and they were overall soggy. As for the hours, they now dont open until 11, so for breakfast we’ve been hitting up McDonalds again, because in my book, 11am is a little for a breakfast sandwich and I dont want to be walking around midday to pick up lunch in 90 degree heat. Not going back here until they get their act together and turn back into the restaurant they were when they first opened.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 4511 Saufley Field Rd, Pensacola

I visited this new store on (12/14/18) around 9pm, when i arrived ,the line was around the building, after sitting there for 20 mins just to order my food. As i went to order.my food the person taking the order was rude over the intercom, and i had to repeat myself 3 timea because she was apparently talking to other employees instead of taking my order, after ordering i sat for another 10 mins watching 3 different cars infront of me leave. So after 15 total.mins i make it to the window. So i go to.pay for my food. There was 2 people on there phones walking around chit-chatting with eachother. So one girl come to the window and tells me its gonna be another 15 mins for my meal(which was suppost to be a 5 piece strip meal) and asked me if that was okay…No it wasnt but after a 10hr shift. I was hungry and just wanted my food. I WILL NEVER go to this store again. I didn’t leave out the drive thur till 10pm. Customer service was rude and i didnt even get what i ordered.i was given a 4 piece spicy mix box not strips. This store needs to fix there drive thur times.and get better employees.

Montes De Oca – Menu with Prices – 455 Hialeah Dr, Hialeah

Let me start by this is my first review ever written. I have never been one to criticize but I actually felt like getting up and leaving in this place. It was a sunday noon time and the parking lot was totally full due to a large community church on the property which shares the tiny, crowded parking lot with montes de oca. It was a mission trying to enter the lot as the entrance is used as an exit by church members. The pizzeria actually keeps two spaces up front blocked with an orange cone for no reason. I got off my car and asked if I could park in one of those spaces as there lot was full and those were the only ones available. I was told NO, that those spaces are set aside by the owner.. “first no”. Ok so we waited and eventually we parked and entered the pizzeria. I walk in and I’m told “have a seat, any seat”. Great! I head over to a table away and I am told to move tables that I can’t sit by the window and I have to be moved to a table by the busy kitchen window. I asked to sit away from their busy kitchen window and I am given my “second NO”. I proceed to order a cheese soup with ham and ask for an additional order of Ham on the side. Again I am told NO, my “third NO”. At this point I want to get up and leave, I am told I can only have the soup if they throw the extra ham I am ordering into the soup. This is upsetting as I like to add my ham as I go and not have it get lost in the soup “Hence why I pay for additional Ham”. Service was obviously not what I expected. Food was great like always it’s pizza though. They were not accommodating at all. Customer service isn’t this establishments priority and they made that clear from their lack of empathy.

Dillas Quesadillas – Menu with Prices – 3930 Preston Rd #140, Frisco

Been eating at Dilla’s for a couple years now. Regularly. Over the last month the quality has taken a nose dive. My favorite menu item is the Buffalo Bacon. Today, was the final straw. It came out cold. There was not even enough cheese to hold the ingredients inside the tortilla (so when you pick it up everything spills out forcing you to eat your “quesadilla” with a fork like it’s a salad). There was barely any buffalo sauce, and the amount of bacon included felt purposely spiteful – like they know I love bacon and wanted to sprinkle enough to let me know that they didn’t forget to include it, but were only going to give me enough that it’s presence felt accidental. The jalepeno ranch was frozen. Literally. Half of it was a block. They don’t care about your food when you bring things to their attention, and contacting them online is a waste of time also. For over $10 for a tortilla, a little effort or the slightest care would be nice.

Subway Restaurants – Menu with Prices – 7494 Creedmoor Rd, Raleigh

I eat here once a week for lunch along with many employees in my office. The visit today will be my last. The short guy with thinning black hair is rude. The credit card machine malfunctioned and he mumbled “you broke my machine”. All I did was insert my card like the machine said. It could not read the chip, so it asked my to slide my card. When I slid my card it malfunctioned. He asked me to slide my card again, but slowly. Ok no problem. I slid my card slowly, but the machine asked me to insert my card. I inserted my card and the guy said something under his breath, but I didnt think much of it. Then the machine asked me to slide my card again and I did. It went through this time. As this guy handed me my receipt he said something to the effect of “why dont people understand how to use credit cards” under his breath. When I called him out on it he got quiet and started with his fake smiling.

Panda express – Menu with Prices – 935 W Southern Ave, Phoenix

I went around lunch time, and surprisingly, it wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be. My order was taken quickly and handed to me quickly. A separate woman (who was very nice) handed me back my change. I handed them a $10 after the woman at the window told me my total was $5 and some change. I didn’t check until I arrived back at work, but they had given me someone else’s receipt and the wrong change on top of that. I figured I’d be getting $4 something back– instead I got back 3 dollars, which I hadn’t realized because the change was handed back to be in a wad. Anyways, the receipt that was handed back to me implied I’d only get a few cents back in change. I was confused by the whole situation, and didn’t have time to drive back, as I was on lunch. Just another reminder that we, as customers, not only have to check our bags to make sure we have all our food, but we also have to start checking receipts apparently.

Downtown Deli & Eatery – Menu with Prices – 225 Market St # 1, Harrisburg

This place is unfortunately often an afterthought for many I know working downtown midweek. We need to change that! Located so conveniently to many office buildings, the deli serves breakfast and lunch at great prices and very promptly. I had lunch today well within my hour break. This is almost impossible except with fast food, and fast food doesn’t always offer a fresh, healthy variety. Two of us had cups of soup (cream of tomato and bean with bacon), a small chef salad, and a turkey, bacon, and provolone sandwich for under $18. The sandwich and salad were both full of good portions of meat and cheese. My salad container was similarly packed full. It was perfectly fresh with a variety of veggies including lettuce, tomato, carrot, cucumber, and green pepper. This place needs to get in my regular rotation.
