Talk about a hole in the wall. Just one table of 4 in the center a seafood type Market most people I sexy coming through or taking out but we are eating here . They have the best fried fish in Fresno. For rock bottom prices you can get a whole combo for 12.99 and have enough to eat for 2 days. Their coconut shrimp @7.99 (6 large) is amazing as well as their salt and pepper shrimp you get to opt for cornbread or tempura battering. They also have specialty Dynamite mussels and a mussel stir fry. Their coleslaw is a bit meh, but has good flavor. You can opt for regular or spicy on just about everything. You will not be impressed as you walk through the door but don’t let that fool you. They also have great collection of Frozen Seafood which I cannot vouch for but I did purchase some surf clams which are not readily available anywhere else that I know. Plus they have boxes of calamari Frozen and pounded and ready to prepare for $23 for a whole case I believe approximately 12 fillets. It’s a bit out of the way but worth the trip.

Versaggi Shrimp Co – Menu with Prices – 2633 Causeway Blvd, Tampa

There is nothing better than being able to go down to the water where the shrimp boats come in and be able to buy shrimp right there! Last week we went to Superior Seafood but didn’t buy anything because the smallest amount you could buy was 5lbs. Way too much for two seniors like us. But here they had 2lb bags of shrimp, perfect. The cost for 21/25 shrimp was $10 a lb. the size was perfect for the Pasta Primavera hubby made for dinner. The shrimp here is flash frozen on the ship as they are caught, so technically they are not fresh, even though they insist they are fresh. I must admit they had a nice snap when you bit into them. No fishy taste at all, no odor, very good. This is a cash only establishment so be prepared for that. They also have crab claws, super jumbo size for $105 for a 5lb box. They also had lobster tails and scallops, all frozen. No fish. I love buying seafood like this, right off the boats. It was a common occurrence when I lived in RI. Live lobsters right off the boats…. for cheap!! Sure do miss that. If you are a shrimp lover, this is the place for you. Nothing fancy, just a warehouse of shrimp. But you will learn a ton from the gentleman there, and it’s awesome to see someone so proud of his work! Give them a try!!

Pescaderia En Mesa | Pesaderia de Guaymas – Menu with Prices – 811 W University Dr #102, Mesa

This is a relatively new fish market. It is of Mexican origin. I have been watching this location for the last 1.5 months since I saw the sign when driving by on University Drive, wondering when they will open. Well, they are open now. My wife, of Vietnamese origin, and I decided to see what was up. We went in on 01/14/2017. It is a small fish market. The staff was friendly. It was a man and woman. They had some various fresh seafood and fish (octopus, snails/caracol, shrimp, and others). A lot of it looked fresh. It even impressed my wife, who knows fresh fish and seafood, coming from Vietnam. She almost wanted to purchase some of their jumbo shrimp, but decided not to. We have too much seafood at home to eat through, and now space in our fridge. We will be coming back, and this time to buy some of the shrimp if they are good. It will save us the trip to Rocky Point in Mexico. We wish this business well. We definitely want them to thrive and be successful. One of the attendants gave me their card, and told me that if we desired some kind of seafood that was not displayed, to contact them. They may have it in storage, or they can order it for us. I will consider it. Perhaps, they will eventually have more choices. Otherwise, it will be difficult competing with the Asian markets on Dobson Road, and also on Broadway Road, with their huge seafood departments. I wish them well. That shopping strip they are in never has seemed to quite recover since the Fry’s Supermarket there closed. That location needs more successes.

Los Plebes ” Tacos & Mariscos ” Menu with Prices 9830 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge

If I could give this good truck more than 5 stars I would. I drive all the way to austin from Baton Rouge specifically to go eat at food trucks. This one is by far one of the best food trucks I’ve ever eaten at. Not only is their food GORGEOUS and not sloppy, but it’s priced right and it’s super tasty! It’s mainly seafood items, (mariscos = seafood in Spanish) but they have some of the best carne asada street tacos EVER. Holy cow. If you love spicy food, Mexican food, and seafood….. you gotta check this truck out! I had the Mitotera (shrimp, calamari, scallop, octopus in a spicy sauce… basically a spicy seafood ceviche!) and carne asada tacos and shrimp tacos. They gave us 4 diff types of salsa, all of which were some of the best salsas I’ve ever had!

Tom’s Seafood Menu with Prices 6025 Greenwell St, Baton Rouge

Another stop via the recommendation of friends who used to frequent the establishment during her college years. The store had two lines to purchase plates of cooked seafood and BBQ as well as a fish/crawfish market which people were hauling the crawfish out by the bag full. Here, we tried fried shrimp, catfish, boudin poppers (crawfish/shrimp and regular). The crawfish/shrimp ones were good and seasoned nicely! The fried shrimp and catfish plates were good and had just the right amount of seasoning with two sides. Establishment was visited by what seemed to be locals and people passing through which is always a good sign! I’d definitely visit again when back in the Baton Rouge area!

Mr. Clamato Menu with Prices Corner of Niles and, Isabell Rd, Bakersfield

– There’s been a lot of hype about this place omg Snapchat and instagram so finally now that one has moved to niles I just happen to want shrimp & bam it was right there . So I stopped , I told the guy it was my first time but I just wanted shrimp . 28$ for too not bad because I’ve heard so much about it I even gave 15% time on my card . Well now when I got it I was automatically not happy . Let’s start with the -PROS Flavor from the juice Is Delicious & that is the only good thing about it . -CONS FROZEN SHRIMP!!! (Are you freakin kidding me ? && JUST cucumbers? NO onion No cilantro No Avocado NO tomato , But frozen shrimp and cucumbers in a cup . SMH lol ANYONE who makes shrimp cocktail knows this is ridiculous, after all the hype ? The shrimp tasted like nothing. Anyone who has eaten some frozen shrimp knows some have no taste and that’s exactly what I got . NO TASTE only thing that gives it taste is the juice and that barely helps . Honestly it’s not even worth the price & I don’t mind paying money for good food . But this CRAP is complete disappointment. && after I posted it on snap everyone said the same thing , STARTED out good & NOW it’s CRAP! The mix is & probably wouldn’t be so upset & probably would taste better WITHOUT FROZEN SHRIMP ! && I had to use the cheater Mr. Clamato because niles isn’t on there

Lek’s Taste of Thailand – Menu with Prices – 5421 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery

My father and I were driving through town and stopped in due to their high reviews. We absolutely enjoyed everything. The restaurant was full and looked like they had quite a few regulars. Service was prompt and wait staff were very friendly. We ordered and the food was brought to the table quickly. I ordered the red curry, medium spicy with chicken and Thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The chicken was very tender and I was impressed with how large the chunks of white meat were. My father had the basil with beef and very much enjoyed the flavor and consistency of the brown sauce. We also ordered two cups of the coconut soup with shrimp and were so impressed at the freshness of the shrimp. The soup had amazing tangy flavor and each cup came with three large shrimp! Worth the money for sure. 10/10 would recommend.

T’s Seafood – Menu with Prices – 3200 Tait Terrace, Norfolk

I was wandering around norfolk with a crazy hankering for steamed shrimp & stumbled across Ts! It’s a basic takeout seafood market, I came in ordered a 1/2 lb of steamed. I almost said “heavy seasoning” but stopped myself for some reason & im glad I did bc the shrimp was (imo) super spicy! I’ve never had steamed shrimp with that much KICK! I really enjoyed it & the shrimp were super plump! If you’re not a fan of spicy food I would definitely let them know to go ez on the seasoning prior to completing the order.

Pino’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 4112 Meadowdale Blvd, Richmond

Been awhile since I have been here. I was not very impressed by it. So I decided to give it one more try. Wait staff was very nice and friendly. But the food was not as good. They have great pizza but the rest was not. My husband had the spaghetti and meat balls the meat balls were bland and the pasta little over cooked, there was more sauce on the plate than anything else. The bread was good. The salads were just iceberg lettuce with one pice of tomato a few pieces of radish and a few pieces of carrots. Was also surprised they didn’t have a Cesar salad. I got the seafood platter, all fried, shrimp tasted frozen and the calamari was over cooked and fish was watery inside so I’m assuming that it was also frozen. I did not eat hardly any of it. I complained nicely about the calamari but the didn’t take anything of the check. We also had the mozzarella sticks they were okay. So out of everything the pizza was great. Gave it a second try and will be the last try.

Frank’s Deli – Menu with Prices – 1517 W 4th St, Wilmington

Tonight was my first time trying Franks Deli and I had the Seafood Platter with Crab Clusters, Corn, Shrimp, Potatoes and Broccoli. It was nothing less then AMAZING! I’ve heard nothing but good things about it but to experience it was next level! I don’t know that I’ve tasted any seafood more flavorful then what I just indulged in. If you haven’t been , you must go! $28 for the whole pannnnn ! I didn’t get a good enough picture because I was so hungry. So sorry ! Lol but please get there and get some! The area is a little rough, but this is the diamond. I’m all about good eats and this was just that! I’m not sure why other reviews aren’t this great , but I’m impressed and couldn’t help but share this seafood extravaganza with the worldddddd!!

Mission Crisp – Menu with Prices – 55 S Madison Ave, Pasadena

I’m sorry but the photos on the menu here on yelp and on Uber eats are very deceiving. We ordered the crispy chicken tenders with “spicy fries” and mission crisp “large” shrimp with regular fries. The crisp chicken tenders lacked seasoning. We pretty much dipped in sauce for flavor. The “spicy” fries were not really spicy, it seems like they just added seasoning salt. However, they were good. The crisp “large” shrimp was disappointing. The seasoning was good but the shrimps were very very small, they look nothing like the advertisement. The regular fries were very good as well. For the sides, we order cole slaw and a farmers salad. We never received the salad but were given green beans instead, not sure why. The cole slaw was good, it taste fresh.

Seafood Alley Fresh Seafood Market – Menu with Prices – 35 Spring St #A, Charleston

Dropped by one afternoon after work and brought some takeout home. After reading several reviews I decided to try this place out. Plus, it was right down the street from some of my favorites establishments including Tapio, Five Loaves, and Xiao Bao Biscuit just to name a few. Environment: I parked directly in font of the place and was surrounded by a lot of foot traffic. My first impressions were this was not a place if you have kids or I wouldn’t even have my wife go alone. Right across the street were several homeless guys sitting on the sidewalk and appeared like waiting for a bus or something. When I walked in, there were two other ladies waiting for takeout. There were no tables to eat at and mainly looked like a place you can buy fresh seafood to be prepared and cooked at home. There was a menu on the wall, along with several paper menus everywhere including the cashier counter. Service: I glanced at the menu and decided to go with an order of “Garlic Shrimp” for $15.99. There were no descriptions on there, just the fact that they came with approximately (12-16 count). The lady took my order, charged my card and told me that it would be like 15 minutes. After standing for that long with no available seating, I finally got my order. Food: After driving all the home, I finally was able to taste the seafood I was yearning and able to see what I ordered versus the box it was in. The shrimp tasted okay for me, however, my wife thought it was kind of too spicy for her taste. The shrimp was covered with crushed red pepper and had a strong salty flavor. After my wife’s comment, I realized the only thing I could really fast was the red pepper. We believe, without the red pepper, they may actually have a decent flavor. My suggestion to the place is either describe the dish on the menu for those who would not have ordered it if they knew how spicy it was. Price: On the high end for what you got. For $15.99 + tax, you could go to another seafood restaurant and get your seafood craving.
