So I just celebrated 20 yrs with my company and with my anniversary my company gives us a “luncheon” basically a budget to spend of food to celebrate. I decided to order bbq from Kinder’s. So I called and spoke to Jerry who was kind enough to take my special order and allow for my boss to pay for it over the phone using the company card and to also save her a trip of coming all the way down to pay for it in person. Jerry was the BEST! He was so accommodating and friendly!! The entire experience was so simple and quick! The day of pick up Jerry calls me to ask if I can call my boss because the cc code is missing a digit .. she paid with a American Express card. So I send her a text to let her know that with American Express credit cards the security code is 4 digits and it’s on the front of the card instead of the back of the card. She never replied back to me. So a couple hours pass and I call Jerry to just make sure he got what he needed and he said he did get the code but that my boss was very rude to him! I felt so embarrassed. He said he didn’t understand why she was getting upset with him and that she insisted it’s a 3 digit code and that she gave it to him that he must not have been paying attention. Smh. She was wrong. It is indeed a 4 digit code. I apologized to jerry and he said it wasn’t my fault. He still treated me so kindly and just was so nice! I will definitely be calling Kinder’s again in the future for all our bbq needs! Jerry and the guys at the shop were the absolute best!

Empire Bagels – Menu with Prices – 3101 Westchester Ave, The Bronx

Placed a catering order for a school event with Empire Bagels and it was such a hassle to 1. Place an order and 2. Get an invoice from them. It’s a good thing I know Spanish because that was the only way I was able to even place a catering order (just saying if you needed to place a catering order, get someone who speaks Spanish). At first, the phone kept getting passed around from employee to employee, to someone who could understand that I wanted to place a catering order. After I got through to someone, they finally told me to call the next morning, to talk to the boss. I called the next morning and the boss wasn’t there, I was told that catering orders should be placed the day before or 2 days before the event. I understood and agreed to call the following week.

Red Crab Juicy Seafood – Menu with Prices – 204 E 9 Mile Rd, Pensacola

I found this location on Yelp during my vacation to Pensacola. I ordered takeout for my mother and grandmother and the loved every second of their order. Upon entering, I was greeted by a young employee that appeared to be new. I explained I would like to order takeout and told him what I wanted. The explained that that item was not on the menu, however, I called minutes before arriving and was told they had the item and even gave me a price. However, Jerry came over to save the day. Jerry rung me up and told me the wait would be a few minutes. I decided to go sit in my car until my food was ready. Next thing I know, Jerry is walking toward my car with my order. Can you say OUTSTANDING customer service. Great job Jerry! — Because of my experience with Jerry, I decided to bring my mom here for dinner. We had a waitress who was OK. She was soo fast moving, I forgot to use my Yelp coupon which was disappointing. I explained the situation to the manager and they were not accommodating

Tai Chi Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 5414 Walnut Ave, Irvine

The worst service experience I have never had before!!!! Tonight, I was going to Taichi to buy their Wonton soup which was today’s special dish offer. When I gave them my credit card to pay the order, the male cashier Wang said: ” We do NOT accept credit cards under $20, especially your order is a dinner special.” What!? Why was I DISCRIMINATED against because of ordering a dinner special and pay by credit card??????? Then, I went to check my purse if I had enough cash, but I did not find any. So, I told them I did not have cash, and when your restaurant posted menu in group, you guys did not mention do not accept credit card under $ 20 anywhere, even in the front desk of the restaurant, there is nowhere customers can find this notice. Unfortunately, this cashier Huang did not explain anything to me. Instead, he said Impatiently and Rude: ” It is COMMON SENSE in American like you go to the 99 Ranch market, they won’t accept, either.” What the Heck!? Then, he started to service other customers who were behind me and just IGNORED me. After I stood there embarrassed about 3 mins, he asked me to transfer the amount to his BOA account by Zelle. Finally, I got my food which was needed to bring to church. Actually, I hate spreading negative inform and rarely give a bad review. However, the cashier in Taichi made it! Good job cashier Wang! (1) If you think people who order today’s special dish are cheap, no cash in pocket and have to pay by credit card even under $20, please mention it early or do not offer today’s special, I won’t be angry (2) If you are afraid the bank will charge your boss the transaction fee by using a credit card, I am willing to pay that several cents for my order. Customers going to your restaurant is for service and pay for it, not for being charged!

Color Digit – Menu with Prices – 2990 Airway Ave Suite A, Costa Mesa

Color Digit, in my opinion, is one of the best commercial printers in OC. I used to work for a company that did all our print projects with the dig and I know they do great work. I’m no print/ paper expert but their equipment is top notch, everything is super high quality. This is not a bargain basement printer, this is where you go when you want your project to dazzle. Also, a bit of insider information … I have it on good authority that some other printers outsource their higher end projects to Color Digit, no surprise there. And here’s a quick story about a personal experience I had with them … a few months ago I had a baby and wanted to get some self-designed birth announcements made. I called several small print shops and no one wanted to help me, so I called Color Digit, thinking they wouldn’t do such a small job, but to my surprise, they did! When I went to pick up the cards they weren’t ready and I was pretty disappointed because going anywhere with a newborn is a challenge. Later that day the owner called and apologized and he even sent his delivery truck to my house to bring lil’ ol’ me 60 postcards!! Now that’s customer service!!

Indianapolis Marriott Downtown – Menu with Prices – 350 W Maryland St, Indianapolis

The Good: Location is convenient. Walking distance downtown, there are lots of food and bar choices, Mass Ave food and drinks, Fountain Sq. food and drinks, the Cultural Trail, IN government, monuments, the canal, State Museum, Eiteljorg museum, and the Zoo. The Bad: It’s hot as sweaty balls in the middle of July in Indiana. The Marriott Downtown is expensive. Rate, the food, and anything you buy within the hotel. $2.43 USD for a 2 pack of 100 mg Advil gel caps. $4.09 for a 16 oz Pepsi bottle. Pro Tip: Walk 10 mins to the mall and stock up on supplies. Pepsi and bottled water are $1.50. The Ugly: Is a long story… I don’t typically stay at the Marriott, but for some reason my professional organization has an arrangement with them. My big complaint this stay is the gross miscommunication I have experienced with this staff. Part 1 – Day 1 check in around 7pm. Stay paid for by company credit card. Go out for dinner, come back to my room and I have a VM from the front desk that says my company credit card was declined. I call and to find out what’s up but the girl I talk to sounds unsure and says I should definitely resolve this by checkout. Okay fine. Just to be sure I go down to the front desk to get some clarification. They don’t know what is wrong, the cc just declined authorization, even thought I have a printout of the authorization form, they say oh this is not the form we use, you’ll need to submit a new one. But its an official Marriott form, so wtf… let me talk to the manager, okay we don’t know, just send us a new cc authorization, I can’t do this, its a company card you need to talk to my office admin here is the contact info. I ask him what happens if we don’t resolve this tonight, he says its okay this should be fine we will resolve it before checkout. I also email my office admin with the hotel manager’s contact info so that she can reach out to them… Day 2, I run upstairs at the conference lunch break 12pm EST and 9 am PST, and lo… I’m locked out of my room. SO back at the front desk, they’re like ya… your credit card declined so we can’t let you into the room. No one contacted my admin, they don’t have her information, and my admin hadn’t been able to get a hold of the manager yet cuz she’s on the Pacific Coast… The manager still doesn’t know what’s wrong. The card went through for my boss’s room but not mine. I’m pissed and embarrassed. Front desk and manager are not helpful. I’m like well what happens if this isn’t resolved by today? Can I get my stuff out of the room? I cannot do anything to resolve this and you have to talk to my admin… and I still need to get into the room. Okay we will send a security person up to let you in the room to organize your stuff while we wait. 30 mins later, no one shows up. I go back to the front desk. Still not helpful. In the end my boss had to call our purchasing department to figure it out. Marriott was using the wrong expiration date. They had the card info in writing… as well as the credit authorization… so with barely an apology from the manager I get access to my room 2 hours later. Everyone at the front desk seems new and unfamiliar with how things work. Part 2 – Day 2 : I wake up with a REALLY bad headache. I usually get a little headache because A/C doesn’t agree with me but this is BAD. I think okay, remember to turn the A/C all the way off tonight. Day 2/3: 3am. I wake up with a head splitting headache. Anvils and hammers are squishing my brain. I have the A/C completely turned off. Nothing is open I have no Advil. Day 3: I’m out of commission or most of the morning after I pay almost 3 dollars for 2 Advil gel caps. I start feeling better around 11 am and I go down to the front desk to ask if they can check on anything in my room. I tell them it might be a ventilation issue and that I am sensitive to mol

Subway Restaurants – Menu with Prices – 7494 Creedmoor Rd, Raleigh

I eat here once a week for lunch along with many employees in my office. The visit today will be my last. The short guy with thinning black hair is rude. The credit card machine malfunctioned and he mumbled “you broke my machine”. All I did was insert my card like the machine said. It could not read the chip, so it asked my to slide my card. When I slid my card it malfunctioned. He asked me to slide my card again, but slowly. Ok no problem. I slid my card slowly, but the machine asked me to insert my card. I inserted my card and the guy said something under his breath, but I didnt think much of it. Then the machine asked me to slide my card again and I did. It went through this time. As this guy handed me my receipt he said something to the effect of “why dont people understand how to use credit cards” under his breath. When I called him out on it he got quiet and started with his fake smiling.

Maine Lobster Direct – Menu with Prices – 48 Union Wharf, Portland

So I would like to thank everyone who helped get our order to us. We ordered two 2.5 lobsters to be sent from Portland Maine to Portland Oregon. We placed this order to be shipped to our home the Friday before Christmas and due to circumstances beyond this organizations control, the order arrived a day late and we were unable to enjoy our meal as expected. When I called to report this issue, the woman who helped me was so empathetic and understanding to our situation. We rescheduled the delivery and we chose to wait a couple weeks after the holiday to ensure no shipping issues arose again. I cannot express the professional and personal service that was given to us especially when we had to call with concerns about our order. Calling to complain or express dissatisfaction is always uncomfortable but everyone I interacted with was very helpful and professional. The customer service I received shapes my opinion of this company and I look forward to ordering from them again. Speaking to the quality of the Lobsters: they were packed really well and obviously handled with care. The company sends along a cook book with many recipes to help the novice lobster cook navigate cooking a lobster for the first time, and I’m sure this information also provides the experienced cook alternative cooking options. The lobsters turned out wonderful and I appreciated the additional information they sent with our order. The price was very fair, for the quality of lobster they send. In conclusion, I will absolutely purchase lobsters from this company again!! Thank you to everyone who helped get our order to us!

Betterday Coffee – Menu with Prices – 905 W Alameda St, Santa Fe

My name is Crystal Nieto. I am Native American born and raised in New Mexico. I’ve been working at the Betterday for over 2 years. Even after all this time I still love my job. But the reason I decided to write today was because of the recent accusations against my boss being racist. My boss is NOT RACIST! If he was I would not be working there. I’ve experienced many jobs where I actually had to deal with racism. At one point I was told not to speak my language to my fellow co-worker who was also Native. The betterday is the first job I’ve ever had that I haven’t had to deal with any type of racism towards me which is why I appreciate this job very much. My boss has always treated me and my beliefs with respect. Not once has it ever crossed my mind that he was racist. I’ve never felt discriminated or shamed for being who I am. So I would deeply appreciate it if everyone would stop accusing my boss and the rest of the staff of racism. Black, brown, or white it doesn’t matter what color you are, you are all welcomed to stop by anytime. Thank you

Cycle Pub Bend Menu with Prices 550 SW Industrial Way #105, Bend

I booked a tour yesterday for 6 of us. When we arrived there were no bikes available for our tour. They scrambled and we ended up taking the tour in the tuktuk. Zack was a wonderful guide. It was a disappointment, that we weren’t able to have the tour on the big bike. When we did a similar tour in Portland, we had 5 guests. The company we used were able to provide the tour with the big bike. They filled the bike with other guests totaling 10 people. We didn’t have to be a group of 8. I don’t understand why your company can’t provide this service. Your website, doesn’t give alerts when you register as a group less than 8. You don’t provide refunds when you’re not able to do the tour we thought we signed up for. I understand that you require a group of 8, but took our money and could’ve fulfill the reservation requested. And then couldn’t give us a bike for 6. Your website needs help. We are very disappointed. Your front desk person, told me that I had received a call confirming our reservation but again I never received a call, voicemail or email letting know that you weren’t able to provide the services paid for. On the return of our tour, he told me I actually didn’t get a call. A lot of miscommunication. Unfortunately, we won’t be using your company again. Needs help with website and front desk. My sister law in, celebrating her 80th, took a glass. She didn’t realize it was $10. She wouldn’t have taken it if she would have known. I believe after all the mixup we should at the very least be credited the $10. Rebecca Karver Sent from my iPhone

Sushi N Joy – Menu with Prices – 2530-J Vista Way, Oceanside

I called in a to go order Saturday night to the tune of $27. I finally get the opportunity to pay and the cashier, Biddy, runs my debit card and proceeds to tell me it’s declined very loudly. I know for a fact the account is not empty, but there’s a long line of people waiting to be seated and already embarrassed from her telling everybody in the establishment that my card was declined, I hand her a credit card. I get in the car and check my debit account and see that not only is there money in there, but that the card was in fact charged for $27. In addition to the credit card charge for $27. I go back inside and she insists that it was not charged, even after I pull up my bank account and show her. She says it’s pending and that if it’s still there on Monday to come back in. It’s Monday, and the charge has posted. I call and she tells me to come in and speak to the manager. It’s not necessarily a close drive and with a grumpy toddler to boot. I drive to the restaurant and am greeted by Biddy and the female manager. They have my credit card receipt printed out and insist that there is no payment from my debit card. I show them and they say they can’t trust that. And tell me to call my bank. This establishment is a satisfactory sushi joint on a good night. Prices are certainly not competitive with nearby spots. So please consider that by dining here, you run the risk of being charged twice for your meal. You will not be refunded. There will be no restitution for the meal you were charged. Biddy is frequently the only hostess/cashier. Due to being overburdened by tasks, she is not skilled at processing payments. You will be charged twice and management has no interest in rectifying the situation. If you’re looking for better fish and friendlier service, try Harney Sushi or Mikko.

Late Nite Macon – Menu with Prices – 420 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Macon

What ridiculousness is this… ???? Dress code is obviously incorrect on Facebook and Instagram. Was dressed accordingly to the “DRESS CODE” when my boyfriend and I entered the “club” I got turned away for not dressing to the dress code for that particular night (drag nite) was offered to buy one of these Salvation Army , dumpster diving collard shirts!!!! If I did the bouncer would let me in. Also said my pants aren’t up to dress code standards (ZARA DRESS PANTS) With a dressy (ZARA) sweater. What foolery If you are going to change your dress code at least post it on social media. As a downtown Macon resident, I would not recommend this place. Don’t waste your time. What is this Beverly Hills???

Crave Popcorn Co. – Menu with Prices – 4021 Preston Rd # 619, Plano

Just order for the first time as a holiday treat for my nephews. It went over as I expected and they love it. The only area for improvement is the ordering process. I found two area’s of improvement, the first is the site asked for my email address to receive 10% of my order, I entered my email and it provided a code to be used at checkout. At checkout there was no place to put the code, now mind you I was on an iPad so the issue may be that the site is not mobile friendly. I emailed the company regarding the issue and have not yet heard anything regarding the adjustment. The second issue is not being able to pick the actual delivery date, they just ship it when they get the order so you have no idea when it will arrive, in my case I ordered it on a Thursday night and it was delivered the following Monday. Minor issues but over all a good experience.
