A food truck that reiterates that their customers are family is the most heart warming thing a customer can hear. I came here opening day and have been back too many times that I’ve lost count. And with every experience it gets better and better! The burgers and hot dogs are colosal and flavorful with every bite! I order a beef burger with everything on it and all the flavors blend harmoniously. If it’s raining, they have tents set up. If it’s really raining, you can order your food for pick up! Located behind the shell gas station, the word Tinker brightens up your drive as you come across it on Archer Road. And they most certainly brighten up my day and belly each time! They recently added Nutella tequeños and Chicha (a rice pudding drink) to their menu and wow these are must try and order when you have a sweet tooth! Prices are all less than $10. The owners are actually related to the owner of Arepas Milko. Tinker creates a family friendly life of the party vibe with its Hispanic music blaring out loud. If you want a break from Arepas, definitely give Venezuelan burgers and hot dogs a try. You will not be disappointed. They are also active on their Instagram account! Side note: they also sell small arepas if you decide to get a craving for them right then and there. I encourage you to come try out Tinker and who knows maybe you’ll become family too!

Reina Pepiada Menu with Prices 603 W Live Oak St, Austin

Finally! A good Venezuelan food truck south of the river that meets my expectations! ? I know there’s several Venezuelan food trucks in town but I haven’t liked any one of them except for the one by 5000 Burnet in North Austin, or points even further north. This truck, the Reina Pepiada (Curvy Queen) gets my repeat visits and dollars south of Downtown. The arepas taste great, with authentic and home-style flavors. I’m even able to customize my arepas to get the rare (but delicious) offering of the arepa llanera (steak, cheese, avocado and tomato). Prices are also very reasonable and the arepas are a good size. The menu is large and features some typical Venezuelan fast food burgers and hot dogs (also hard to find south of the river). There’s only very few staples missing, such as the mandocas (plantain fried fritters), chupes, etc – and I can see the menu needing vegetarian and even vegan options to get more South Austin love for the many vegan friends living in the area. Few other things I would like to see fixed – but they’re not food related. I would like to see less use of plastic and styrofoam. But that’s me being eco-friebdlu I’ll be back for sure, and sampling even more things. Note: As of April 2019, Yelp still hasn’t fixed the hours of operations. Call the business before going.

Tractor Brewing Co Menu with Prices 118 Tulane Dr SE, Albuquerque

To start, great prices. You can have a long fun night here and not be shocked by your tab. The flavors are all really great too. One thing I didn’t care for: the dogs. I don’t hate dogs, I actually really appreciate business like this that are dog friendly. But when you allow dogs inside and you allow people to get drunk and not handle their dogs properly, that’s an issue. Each time I’ve been here that has been a unruly dog that I wish the staff would have said something to the owner or perhaps asked the owner to enjoy his drinks on the (spacious) outside patio with his dog.

La Tiendita – Menu with Prices – 1900 Chapel Hill Rd, Durham

The bar has officially been set: nothing can possibly top this!! Trust me, you too will agree after you’ve had cheese and green chili arepas lovingly handmade to order (entirely from scratch) and brought to your table by the extremely sweet and kind lady who makes them, plus a side of the masterfully crafted hot sauce made by the friendly gentleman at the cash. If you are not sure what to eat, that’s ok: you cannot make a wrong choice here. Plus they are always happy to help guide you through the menu or suggest things based on your craving that day (just make sure you get that hot sauce, it goes so good especially with the arepas and tacos). I want this family to adopt me so I can learn their delicious ways; until then, I will be back again and again!

Gazali’s Mediterranean Grill – Menu with Prices – 1205 25th St, Des Moines

Street-side parking. Good selection of food, good prices. The owner is so friendly, my friend had her dog with her and he asked to pet her. Her dog is a little shy but he was extremely good with her and brought lots of treats. Then he asked if she would like some water and brought out a bowl of water for her. He came out a couple more times throughout our stay. He chatted with us, and gave the dog several more treats. Anyone who is friendly with dogs and makes an effort to befriend the dog is awesome in my book. On top of that, the FOOD WAS AMAZING. Everyone in my party ordered something different and all agreed the food was delicious and amazing. What with the food being outstanding and the owner being so friendly to humans and dogs, I will definitely be coming back.

Bark & Brew – Menu with Prices – 2310 Lineville Rd #100, Green Bay

The concept of this bar I think is great but the concept of this bar also creates some of the issues. First of all, there was no waiver to be signed when we entered. I thought that was weird but I guess if the owners don’t want anyone to sign off on liability that’s their business. There was no need to provide any vaccination records. I will honestly say that I didn’t find the atmosphere relaxing in the slightest. I was told by another couple to sit down and relax. That I couldn’t do because I wanted to keep any eye on my dog. Our puppy loves all people and dogs and is also unaware that he is 80+ lbs. My concern is not with him but other dogs. With him being completely unaware of his size I didn’t want him to knock over a kid. Dogs can roam freely from outside to the fenced in area. This is great but dogs who are not being watched are not cleaned up after. There was no one cleaning up waste in the yard while I was there and I cleaned up after multiple dogs who weren’t mine. The guy who was watching the front gate needs to be trained on how to approach dogs. I watched him for quite sometime and he used his hand to shoo them away but approached from above their head. Anyone who has gone to a dog training class will know that is a no no. An already stressed/scared dog could get aggressive. I saw multiple dogs react negatively to this but luckily there was no aggression.

The Creamery Cafe – Menu with Prices – 8678-8698 19th St, Rancho Cucamonga

Abundant life chiropractic is everything I could ask for! Dr. John and Cynthia the receptionist are extremely professional and friendly. The staff creates an atmosphere that makes you feel welcome and the organization of their office makes it easy and convenient for me with little to no wait and a quick in and out. I was recommended to abundant life chiropractic by a close friend and couldn’t be more happy with my experience so far. I have been going to Abundant Life Chiro for a little over three months now and I have experienced significant improvement in not only my problem area (lower back) but overall wellness in life. Something that sticks out to me with abundant life is that they don’t just treat you but they are dedicated to informing the patient on the importance of the spine and how it can affect our day to day lives. I personally can say I have a better understanding about the importance of spinal health now than I did prior to my appointments with Abundant Life. Thank you abundant life!!

Devil Dogs Gourmet Hot Dogs – Menu with Prices – 43810 Butterfield Stage Rd #102, Temecula

I WISH I had discovered this place sooner!!!!!! Where to begin?!?! First of all, the location is great, not too much traffic here, plenty of parking. You step through the doors and you smell the yummy aromas of grilled dogs, hear the friendly laughter of neighborhood friends enjoying a game or some Nascar in this case, some beer and a gourmet dog! Loved it. Loved the friendly customer service and to TOP IT ALL OFF, They have VEGAN veggie dogs and Impossible Burgers for me!!!!!! I want to hug the owner, thank you for offering a little something for us vegetarians / plant based Vegans! My kids had the Chicago Dog, the Nathan’s Build Your Own, and a Veggie Dog! The MOST important thing about this review:. You can afford to eat here OFTEN! It is just so affordable!!!! I recommend you get sides and drinks as well. I can’t wait to go back and try the Impossible Burger!!!

Earth to Us – Menu with Prices – 1720 Guess Rd suite 18, Durham

“Excellent quality vegan food in assuming shop by Northgate Mall” I stumbled upon this on Yelp and had to check out this small vegan restaurant. We arrived on a Friday evening at 6pm. The restaurant is small (maybe 12 tables?), and it’s not clear what one should do when they enter. (Answer– get a menu from the back, order at the counter, then find a table to sit.) The menu has a mix of comfort food (e.g., mac & cheese, cauliflower “wings”), burgers (including both “Beyond” and “Impossible” burgers), and Latin American favorites (vegan chicken & rice, tacos, arepas, empanadas). My son and I opted for the two kinds of burgers and my wife got the arepas. Positives: + Friendly service. While we were confused initially, the staff member behind the counter was friendly and explained what to do. She offered suggestions when I seemed on the fence. They checked on us 1-2 times after we got our food (which was unexpected given the layout of the restaurant with ordering in the front). + Quality. The burgers were both EXCELLENT. And not just the patties but the preparation: perfect pretzel bun (not too firm but not squishy), perfect caramelized onions, good sauce, etc. My burger came with sweet potato fries, which were good. My son got the mac & cheese as his side, and didn’t really like the slight sweetness, but I thought it was alright. My wife’s arepa came with cole slaw that was absolutely delicious, and she was happy with her arepa. Overall, no complaints on quality whatsoever. + Location/ cleanliness. Easy place to go with accessible parking everywhere, and proximity to Northgate (which is right off I-85) makes this easy to get to without most traffic issues. I also did go to the restroom to wash my hands, and it was well maintained. Neutral: +/- Setting. It was a little loud when we were there, but not uncomfortably so. The place was a little bit dark too. I thought it was fine, but I imagine some people not being thrilled with the layout and fast-food-ish style (ordering/ paying at a counter). +/- Price. The Impossible Burger plus fries was $15 before tax and tip. The Beyond Burger was a little bit cheaper, but that’s still hefty for what amounts to a veggie burger and fries. Then again, I know those patties are expensive, and again, the preparation was really on-point. I think it was all alright for value, but I’d not try to argue that it was a “great price.” Synopsis: A welcome vegan addition to Durham’s scene, and my family and I are eager to come back to try more of their dishes! I’m a fan!

Burger Boys – Menu with Prices – 2400 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville

Went here after reading the good reviews on here, I have to say without a shadow of a doubt this was the worst hamburger I have ever had. while he was getting our hamburger ready, I saw he took them from underneath a pan on the grill, I asked him if those were fresh burgers, he replied absolutely. they were not fresh, ordered 2 burgers and needed to wash down with a drink they were so dry. I told him it was our first time here, why on earth would somebody not put their best foot forward to impress, all to pawn off dried up hamburgers and lose a new customer for life. he was very friendly food was just horrible, no flavor and dry as hell, I also think he dipped the fries in water also- soggy as hell, he didnt put the fries in the fryer till after he had completed the burgers???? seems out of order to me-lol would not recommend, at least he got rid of to horrible burgers and fries-wow

MAIZ colombian street food – Menu with Prices – 621 Forest Ave, Portland

Love Maiz. I’m thrilled they’re now located in Woodford’s Corner (which is becoming such a hip little local’s area, with something for everyone). This is my go-to spot in this neighborhood of Portland. It’s always blasting fun music, the staff is always super friendly, and the food? Out of this world. I get the vegan arepas (stuffed with mostly chickpeas, followed by onions, followed by cauliflower, followed by tomatoes; all topped with a thick pile of smashed-yet-chunky avocado. And the sauces? You HAVE to get both the cilantro (it’s like a creamy paste of cilantro and oil) AND the roja dulce (it’s tangy and spicy in the best way possible). YUM. They come in their own tiny containers, and while your arepa comes with one, you can buy additional sauces (I think they’re like $1.75 each which is a bit pricey, but worth it). Usually the arepas are overflowing, too, but I will say this: if they’re super busy, or it’s close to closing time, the arepas get a litttttttttle skimpy on fillings. I’ve been coming almost once a week since they opened, and I’ve noticed this happen a handful of times now. Also – unrelated – because they’re making your food to order, it takes a little bit for them to assemble your arepas (talk about fresh). Just a heads-up on both accounts! Love that there’s some adult beverages to choose from, wish there was some fried yucca without cheese to munch on (maybe there is, but it’s not on the menu and I’ve never asked), but all in all I haven’t felt this fondly about a place in a long time and hope they’re around to fill my belly for a while!

Wiener Works – Menu with Prices – 3402 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville

So my hubby decided he’d take me to Fayetteville from Fuquay Varina for a nice, relaxing ride to take me to one of my favorite eating spots when I lived there. I’m disabled & I can’t go into restaurants like we used to do when we’d go on date nights. So we ordered through the drive through window to bring home to eat. We had to park & wait a few minutes because most of the order was made fresh which was fine with us. We were hungry & decided to eat our hot dogs before hitting the road again, but were disappointed because although the Wiener Works cashier was really nice & the food, for the most part, was fresh, the hot dogs tasted like they’d been sitting in water a long time. However; the chili burgers, deluxe burgers & onion rings were fresh which is why I gave them a 4 rating. Otherwise, they would’ve gotten a 5. Still, one of my favorite spots!
