This place is inside the Holiday Inn in Fullerton, California. My wife had to work a couple of days in town, so I tagged along. First night we had an awesome bartender. We got in late so were able to get dinner at the bar just before they closed. Next day I was sitting in the bar area, reading some emails at about noon. The Food and Beverage Manager came in to do something (The place dosen’t open until 3PM I think). He actually got me a beer. I had the breakfast buffet in the restaurant. It was not unlike others I have had. The only draw-back at the bar is that it closes at 9PM.

Valentino’s – Menu with Prices – 2701 S 70th St, Lincoln

We arrived at the restaurant about 2:30 on a Sunday and were told that on Sunday’s they serve breakfast buffet and dinner buffet but no lunch buffet. We were also told that the breakfast buffet had ended so we paid $31 for two dinner buffets. All we really got was the leftover food from breakfast/lunch. The pizza was cold. The pastas were cold. The gravy had a crust on it. The hot desserts were all almost gone and not very warm. Even the cinnamon twists were cold and hard. I would not recommend going to this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. We may go back and try it sometime for dinner…but maybe not!

River Cree Resort & Casino – Menu with Prices – 300 E Lapotac Blvd, Edmonton

So I am making a review for the buffet at the river cree casino, first time ever going was yesterday..so I had my Hope’s set a bit high ..my fault..I was expecting a way better buffet since I have heard how amazing this place was…the people I must have been talking to must have been drunk because from the food to service to how clean the restaurant was I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody just the buffet.. I cant talk about the rest of the place, the service was horrible, to get a refill it must come out of the waitresses tips, to get a dirty plate removed is almost impossible, yet they look at you from there little table acting like they are watching out for you when they are not!, and the host guy is super awkward and so is the manager I am guessing, Best buffet in Edmonton is buffet royal. Again if you want a buffet you have the whole city of Edmonton to pick from avoid this place so you wont be disappointed!

Preston’s Market – Menu with Prices – 1601 Collins Ave, Miami Beach

Convenience factor of this restaurant: 100%. It’s located inside the LOEWS Miami beach hotel on the ground level, a few steps past the hotel’s open wall cocktail lounge. With the ordeal of Miami taxi transportation or getting a good dose of humidity as you walk to your restaurant destination; this spot saves a serious amount of time. However, this place is arguably pricey and some of the staff are negligent. For the breakfast buffet, it will set you back $30 per person. The buffet options were basic – not as ample or varied as you might find at a Vegas breakfast buffet. I was taken by surprise with how mediocre, oily, stale or dry everything tasted. Their juice bar is the only thing to write home about. There was also a DIY bagel bar, simple muffin and bread selection, some dried out lox, basic omelette bar, cereal, oatmeal, fresh berries, yogurt, an array of pre-cooked items sitting under a heat warmer: dry mini pancakes, dry waffles, dry French toast, bacon, super oily sausages, stale fries, eggs Benedict somewhat dried out and hard, and also scrambled eggs on the verge of being over cooked and dry. You have the option to sit on their outdoor patio overlooking the pool with the tiniest view of the ocean, or you can sit inside, protected from the extreme humidity and heat elements. We decided to sit inside. Our server was enthusiastic and helpful, but I had an unfortunate run in with a very agitated buffet line worker. I had decided on their fresh pressed juices since it was available with our $30 buffet purchase and looked better than their other offerings (plus, I needed a serious detox from all of the late Miami nights and early mornings!) however, I wasn’t informed that the juice bar closes down in the middle of breakfast buffet service once they start to run out of ingredients and produce. Ready to order my juice, I was told they were closed, which had me frustrated since that was why I agreed to do the breakfast buffet in the first place. After pleading to her that I was not informed about the juice bar operations she rolled her eyes and told me she will make anything that does not have green produce since she’s “all out of that”. Her body language and tone said it all. I said that’s totally fine! And I ordered a few carrot, citrus and juices with spices. The juices tasted decent, but I was really offended by her initial “I’m closed and I don’t want to help you attitude” so the whole juice bar ordeal put a major negative experience at this restaurant. If you choose to dine here, just make sure you get all the information you need to know about the buffet operations and take a tour of the food first.

Hungry Indian Fine Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 821 Newark Ave, Jersey City

This place does not deserve a 1 star. We visited today and it was the worse experience ever. We will never come back to this restaurant ever again. Getting there, there was no food in the buffet and one of the foods in the buffet had gone bad (smelly). We told them about the buffet and they told us that the food was coming. We have been sitting at our table for 20 mins and the food still didnâ??t come. We proceeded to tell them that we are hungry and why the food is taking long. We even tried to resolve the problem by canceling our order and get something else, but the manager said no. The lady, I assume was the manager, began yelling at us and telling that nobody has problem with the food and all that nonsense. She had no respect and she didnâ??t even admit that they made a mistake and were not sorry or anything like that. The manager had the worst attitude and no manners. After a few seconds of yelling, she kicked us out of the restaurant, as we left the restaurant, she called us an idiot. After today, we will never come back and I hope everyone will see this and avoid this restaurant. Terrible service and the people have no respect for anyone. The lady has no respect for the elderly people as well, she yelled at my grandparents as well. Avoid this restaurant at all cost. We took a picture of the restaurant and will post this in the newspaper.

Sunbird Golf Resort – Menu with Prices – 6250 S Sunbird Blvd, Chandler

The Horizon Room at Sunbird Golf Resort is not a place I would recommend to anyone. The prices have risen, the menu selections have been reduced, and the quality of food is unacceptable. The only part of that restaurant that is good is the bar with two particular servers who are excellent! However, even bar hours have been cut…The Horizon Room closes at 2:00 pm on Sundays when they could be open for the football crowd. Maybe someone will read this and look directly at the Restaurant Manager for an explanation!

Pots N Pans – Menu with Prices – 1210 W Claude St, Tyler

I called in advance at 12:30 p.m. to ensure that when my group and I make the hour and 30 minute drive the restaurant would not be closed or there wouldn’t be any issues for the party of five that I was bringing. The restaurant states that it closes at 5 p.m. but they could not guarantee that they were going to have food when we arrived by 2:30 p.m. What is the point in having a restaurant state it is open until 5 if you’re not guarantee food at 3 p.m. I informed the manager that I was calling in advance because that’s a long drive to make and a restaurant wind up being closed or don’t have enough food. Her response was in a loud angry voice “baby if you come on you might get some it’s slow right now but I can’t guarantee it’s going to be some food when you get here”. My advice is if you don’t know how to speak to potential patrons in a professional manner, no matter how good your food is you would not be in business long, I will never patronize with this restaurant just based on the manager being unprofessional.

Caffè Nero – Porter Square – Menu with Prices – 1868 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge

So happy that there is finally an alternative to the Bourbon Cafe across the street in the Lesley University complex. I love the Bourbon Cafe, but it closes at the ridiculously early time of 8pm every night. Caffe Nero closes at 9…not a huge improvement, but I’ll take it. Wish somebody would open a late night or all-night cafe in this neighborhood…I would actually be happy to pay a cover charge for that! There’s the Panera Bread near Dunkin Donuts which closes at 10, but it’s a rather sterile/generic environment. Oh lawdy, when oh when will civilization ever come to ever-sleepy, yet ever-more-expensive, Camberville???

Boots & Brix – Menu with Prices – 701 E Campbell Rd, Richardson

I happen to be staying in the hotel where this restaurant is located. I get a free breakfast so I chose to eat here for my stay. It’s good, but not great. As I had the buffet, I noticed the place is clean, neat and organized. The staff is overly friendly and will accommodate almost any request. I am only giving 3 stars as for breakfast, $19 is a little high and if I were paying for it, I wouldn’t pay that high price. I think if they dropped the price to even $15, it would be better. I will say that even for a buffet, the food selection is great, lots to chose from! The coffee is so-so, but I am also a bit of a coffee expert. Unless you get the breakfast for free as part of your stay at the Hyatt, go somewhere else.

Four Seasons Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 10600 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach

We went on a week day and had a really good breakfast buffet. There was a good assortment of breakfast items on hand to choose from. The eggs and meats were as good as anywhere else we have eaten and the rest of the buffet was equally good. Plenty of coffee and juice was on also there.Well worth the price !

Break Fast Grill – Menu with Prices – 310 Polk Dr, Tallahassee

We were headed home this morning and I spotted the word Break on a sign set back from the main road. Curious if the rest of the sign said Fast, we turned around to check it out.It did say Break Fast. And Buffet. Since it was still morning and we hadn’t had breakfast, we had to try it.The restaurant was new. It’s been open about a week. The building is a bit run down but the interior looked clean. There were several two-top high tables along the windows as well as regular tables and chairs in the dining room. We first sat at a high table but when the server brought over the pancakes she suggested we might prefer a larger table. Good suggestion. For $7.97 you get an all you can eat breakfast. Coffee and drinks are extra. Eggs, pancakes and waffles are made to order. All the other items were on a serve yourself buffet. You can check the website to see all that’s on the menu. Salad items were available at breakfast. Ice cream is also available all the time. The two most interesting things to note is that the sausage gravy and grits were delicious. These are two of my least favourite breakfast foods at a restaurant but I always like to sample them at a new place. Their grits and sausage gravy were delicious. The grits didn’t taste like water and the gravy had big chunks of meat in it.The server came over to see if we wanted waffles and pancakes. I ordered a waffle, Walter ordered pancakes. They were perfect. The server was exceptionally friendly and almost mother-like as she kept insisting we needed to tell her to tell the chef to ‘drop some more pancakes.’ Cold cereal and fresh fruit were also available.I am looking forward to going back here to try their lunch buffet.

La Cocina Mexicana – Menu with Prices – 21718 Vermont Ave #2118, Torrance

I ate for the first time at this restaurant I usually use their other facility in Harbor city California. My wife and I decided to try their buffet we figured for $10 at sounded like a good deal. But to our surprise the buffet was limited on selection you can tell edit been there for quite some time everything was dried so we changed our mind and ordered from the menu as we did that they quickly cleaned the buffet out that upset us a little bit because they were willing to let us get the pickings before cleaning it up. The food from the menu of course was quite delicious as usual I believe this would not have happened at the other site this message will be to the management of that new facility open please do just as well as you do at your Harbor city site try not to squeeze everything you can out of your products when they get old or disgusting looking. The service was good but the buffet was a disaster. Thank you for your time in this matter.

The Audrey Kitchen + Bar – Menu with Prices – 9 E Wilson St, Madison

We stayed at the Madison Hilton Monona Terrace Friday night. Although we live fairly close to Madison we enjoy the Hilton and the very pleasant staff. We return because of the people. Now that the Chophouse has morphed into The Audrey, it is good that Boone has risen to manager there. He is a great addition. We particularly enjoy seeing Sherri and Zeny at the bar. And we always appreciate René, Logan and Tanner serving in the dining room and happy they are still there from the old Chophouse. Now for the menu. The food is better and the menu is ambitious. The small plates and salads all sound really good when the staff describe them We have tried only the Elotes Salad, the Fried Cauliflower, and the Hanger Steak. All were delicious and especially well presented. My only concern, and that is because we are mostly dinner and breakfast people, is that the “AFTER 5” entrées aren’t more prominent on the menu. The descriptions are great but barely do justice to the imagination that goes into the dishes. Breakfast at The Audrey is familiar from the Chophouse visits. We usually eat at the top floor buffet, but often as not prefer the lobby restaurant. We’ve checked into the Madison Hilton on Facebook more than thirty times as a lifetime Diamond Honors member. The desk assured me at check-in that we could have breakfast in The Audrey just as we had done in the Chophouse. However the hostess in the morning seemed less than pleased and tried to encourage us to go to the buffet upstairs. Not to blame her because probably she has been instructed to direct Gold and Diamond members to the other buffet. It was just a little uncomfortable. By the way, the new decor is beautiful and the room upgrades are spot on. We especially like the new showers.
