My new fav find in Gainesville! I don’t usually crave burgers because they make me feel groggy afterwards, but I decided to try this place out because it was recommended by a friend. Luckily, I went during the afternoon and it was a short line because I’ve heard the lines can stretch all the way down the street. I was able to order right away but I didn’t know it was cash only, but they let me come back to get more cash and I ended up ordering more. I got a cheeseburger all the way, ham and cheese sandwich, fish sandwich, and fries. All were very delicious, but the burger was my favorite. It was better than I had expected and it was fairly cheap as well. I wish I had gotten more burgers, and I didn’t feel groggy afterwards because it wasn’t too greasy. Will go again soon!

Richee Freeze – Menu with Prices – 4405 Williamson Rd, Roanoke

Doesn’t get much better than this place! Great food at an affordable price, and the service is absolutely wonderful. the Super Cheeseburger is one of my most worth-it burgers I’ve ever had.. fresh tasting beef & vegetables, and huge portion for just a $3 cheeseburger. Add a side of onion rings or fries, you got yourself one delicious meal! If you’re a fan of the filet-o-fish from mcdonalds, I also highly recommend the FISH SANDWICH. It’s 50x better with a thick crispy fish patty that’s moist/flaky on the inside. Tip: ask for hot sauce to add as you take each bite. Don’t let the physical appearance of this place throw you off cause this is one of the best spots for a clean, all-american cheeseburger (or hot dog or sandwich). You can tell the owners truly care about their customers and how much they love them back, just by seeing all the smiles & hearing their conversations as they order/pay for their meals. One last thing, don’t leave without getting some soft-serve! Vanilla, chocolate, or swirl… the ice cream is so thick & creamy.. you won’t regret ending your meal with a cone or cup!

Burger Barn – Menu with Prices – 11787 International Dr Suite 118, Orlando

5 stars for delicious burgers, fries, Mac and cheese, and milkshakes! This place is great and I would definitely recommend it BUT I wouldn’t go for a specialty burger. Ok let me explain… so I’ve been to this place twice. First time, I ordered the hangover burger without bacon. I didn’t like it because it has a fried egg that’s cooked all the way through which doesn’t make sense to me. If you’re topping my burger with an egg, I want my yolk to run. Halfway through the burger we noticed there was bacon which sucks since we don’t eat bacon. We called and right away the offered us a replacement but we asked for a normal cheeseburger and the owner delivered it himself to our apartment which was amazing. You don’t see that kind of customer service often. The cheeseburger was AMAZING. The combination of cheese, onions, lettuce, etc was so nice and felt much simpler and tasted much better. Second time we dined in and ordered the southwest burger. This is when I learned to not order their specialty burgers. The guacamole was NOT FRESH. tasted like someone got the pre made guacamole mix. And yet again, the cheeseburger was AMAZING. this is just my opinion and many may disagree but I would really recommend just a good old fashioned cheeseburger. Also their fries and fry seasonings were amazing as well as their milkshakes and customer service. Please check this place out.

Sammy’s Po-Boys and Catering – Menu with Prices – 901 Veterans Blvd, Metairie

I have mixed feelings about my experience here. First let me say that this establishment is not affiliated with the Sammys on Elysian Fields…which is why I came here in the first place. We ordered a full sized 10″ dressed roast beef poboy, cheeseburger on bun and fries. I have to say that the roast beef poboy was very good and juicy. The only thing I was on the fence about was that the meatbwas more shredded/debris like than actual sliced roast beef. On the one hand this is a good thing because it makes it easier to bite through and less mess. On the other hand, I’m not new to roast beef poboy eatin’, I expected to get messy.. I also expected sloppy warm slices of roast beef to bite through as well. I still enjoyed it so I would order this again. So on to the cheeseburger. Very disappointed in this order. First off it was wrong. We requested no mayo and add pickles. We got the opposite. He ate it anyway.. Like a quarter of it. I could see he was really not enjoying his meal. So I took a chunk of his patty and began to taste it. It was entirely way too bland and just tasted off..not rotten or rancid..just not cared about and just thrown together. I felt bad that this ruined his meal and appetite. After that, I feel that they put more effort into what they’re known for and less over stuff like cheeseburger and fries. So maybe next time he would do better ordering one of their specials. Oh and the bathrooms.. It’s a shared bathroom with the rest of the bldg and kind of creepy in a feel like being watched way.

Willy Burger – Menu with Prices – 6191 Hwy Blvd #101, Katy

Took my little sister to Willy’s Burger’s the other day and we’re officially fans! We weren’t super hungry so I ordered a kid’s cheeseburger meal, chili cheese fries, and a strawberry milkshake. Their meat patties are delicious, lots of flavor and cooked perfectly. I usually don’t like burgers unless there’s a lot of toppings so if the cheeseburger was that good, I can’t wait to come back to try their other burgers. Fries were thin and crispy, the chili tasted great. The strawberry milkshake was just like any other that I’ve had. Service was quick and professional, but we also went when there was barely anyone at the restaurant. I love the old school vibe Willy’s gives off, it reminds me of a 50s diner and the neon sign gives it a retro feel. The only downside is that parking can be a hassle. Even though it wasn’t busy at Willy’s when we went, the plaza was almost full since it shares the lot with so many other stores. I can see it being a challenge to find parking when it gets really busy. Overall, Willy’s is “Willy Willy good” and I will be back to try other items from their menu. Definitely worth going to if you’re craving a good burger!

Mama Dee?s Coney Island – Menu with Prices – 340 E New Circle Rd ste 140, Lexington

Overpriced . Or maybe the girl working just overcharged. As their menu states upgrade any item to a meal with fries and drinks for $3. A dbl cheeseburger, chili cheese fries and can of pepsi was nearly $14. A chicken phili, SUPER cold undercooked cheese fries, 2 hotdogs incorrectly made and a koolaid was $17. Was so hoping for a great little place, instead highly disappointed and waste of over $30! Response to owner: If the gentleman at the counter wasnt already on the phone with a customer complaint and being what I would consider rude (but I dont know how the caller was speaking) obviously having a rough night I probably would have. The little girl behind the counter was friendly so we found it best to just toss half our food and leave. We evem mentioned to her that we specifically asked for plain hotdogs for our 2 yr olds and she acted offended/taken back. But I seriously would love to know how our food prices rang the way they did compared to what your menu stated. As we didnt get a itemized receipt nor were we offered a receipt in general using our debit cards.

Joy Love Burgers – Menu with Prices – 6630 FM 1463 Suite A100, Katy

Went there for lunch today with a friend. It was our first time ever in any Joy Love Burgers’ store. Heard so much about the Mason Rd one and then Yelp sent me notification yesterday about the FM 1463 location as Hot place for you ? Well the store is kinda small for the lunch traffic which I believe is being generated from all the good reviews. By the time we finished ordering and getting our drinks a booth opened luckily. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with Jalapenos and Fries and my friend ordered a Cheeseburger with Fries. It took 10 – 15 minutes for the order. Service at the counter was good, they were helpful and courteous. My Bacon Cheese Burger tasted very good juicy because of the vegetables not the burger patty, Bacon was crisp and crunchy. My friend did not have much issues with their burger. All they said that this cheeseburger was one level above the McDonald’s Quarter Pounder ? meaning they liked it. The only thing I had an issue with was that why are these new burger stores smashing the patty flat squeezing all the juices out. I think the Bacon Cheeseburger I got could be more juicy if it was prepared without smashing the the burger patty flat during the cook. Also it is pricey for the type of burger.

URBAN, Restaurante – Menu with Prices – 18505 NW 75th Pl, Hialeah

So my review is a bit mixed, but ill keep it short. The place: A Wynwood in Miami lakes, modern, clean and cute. The food: When we speak of the food itself, just that, the food is great and worth going back for. HOWEVER: The service we received was terrible and the reason why we haven’t returned in the past 2 years, and probably never will. I would like to think the waiter was new, but based on how the night went, I can tell it was the waiter and the management. First we ordered beer, it was HOT, who serves/drinks HOT beer? Upon complaining, they said there was nothing they could do…. ok.. I guess? Then we ordered our food. I ordered a hamburger and my boyfriend said that he wanted a chicken sandwich, which the girl said “oh youd like XYZ sandwich then” and he agreed to her “chicken sandwich” suggestion. We wait for our food about 30-40mins, which is quite a while considering they were simple foods. My burger was great, I had a mushroom and cheese hamburger. This came with waffle fries which were surprisingly great (I dont like waffle fries) and it was all very good with me. My boyfriends “chicken sandwich” ended up being a FISH sandwich, which he cannot eat. We asked our waiter if we could please return it as we had not ordered this sandwich. Instead of comprehending and moving on, she decided to argue with us and tell us that we had given her the wrong name of the dish… like really? we told you the type of food and YOU suggested the name, yet its our fault? really? after arguing with us, she took it back and got his order (all with an attitude). I was almost done with my meal when he received his. AGAIN! she took his order wrong! AGAIN, we ask for it to be returned. This time we did not want to replace our order. Instead we asked to speak to the manager. After arguing with us AGAIN, she ran off to her manager. The manager comes back, and we expected some form of apology, not a free meal nor anything else, just an apology. NOPE, the manager was just as difficult to speak too and didnt take responsibility for the experience nor his employee. In the end, my boyfriend didnt get eat and we were charged for my food and the beers.

Great Steak – Menu with Prices – Citigroup Center Space F005, Chicago

Had a regular cheese steak & fries. This variety has more bread than meat, and from my experience, limited au jus. The sandwich still has a lot of integrity, but it’s not like you won’t get your hands greasy eating this. Though not quite visible, the taste of cheese really cuts through. Fries were great crunchy and delicious.

Country’s Barbecue – Atlanta Hwy. Montgomery – Menu with Prices – 5761 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery

As Larry Powell, owner of Country’s Barbecue, stopped by our table I said “Hey Larry, it’s Friday! Where else would we be?”. Mrs. Bunny and I were observing our third consecutive Friday lunch at Country’s Barbecue on the Atlanta Highway in Montgomery, AL. We’ve been coming to Country’s since before there was one in Montgomery. Mrs. Bunny had coupons to some of the burger and sandwich restaurants in close proximity to the office but none of them looked as good or appealing as the food we get at Country’s. Today was Cheeseburger Day. Mrs. Bunny got a loaded Cheeseburger (this time `loaded` meant Cheese and no Bacon) with Fries plus a water and I got a loaded Bacon Cheeseburger (with Cheese AND BACON) and Potato Salad with Sweet Tea to drink. Our medium to medium-well Burgers take a few minutes to prepare but they’re always fresh and hot upon delivery. With a little mayo and mustard our Burgers were dressed and ready to go. They’re juicy and `messy good` and didn’t cost any more than we would have spent at one of those chain burger joints. Meal total was under $20 before gratuity. I already had two helpings of Sweet Tea and when our server asked me if I wanted a `to go` Tea, I declined. I was already full of Sweet Tea and was fully hydrated. Full of Cheeseburger too. Business was brisk at lunch today but there’s always a seat for you. You can smell the BBQ smoke as you approach the restaurant. I was able to return Mrs. Bunny to the office in just under the one hour of her allotted lunch break. As they say in their radio and teevee commercials… “Come on down to Country’s Barbecue”.

Beefy’s Burgers Tacoma – Menu with Prices – 3018 6th Ave, Tacoma

Well… it’s an improvement to the last restaurant that was here which was Fish Fish Fish. Beefy’s is run by the same owner that ran Fish and what seemed to be a disastrous effort to bring fish and chips in this part of the 6th Ave. neighborhood. While that prior experience left a bad taste in my mouth (literally) I came back with an open mind to give this new restaurant a try. Probably the biggest improvement is the service. There were minor slip ups with my meal here this time as well but nothing like before. For example the cashier seemed to struggle to run my card through, I was asked what my name was for when my order was ready and it was not spelled correctly and I got someone else’s order while I was waiting for my burger but the good thing was that all of them were corrected quickly. As far as the food goes? I’ve had better burgers. That is most definitely certain. The burgers on the menu are broken down by deluxe or regular with about three options a piece. I went with the deluxe cheeseburger that had lettuce, onion and a special sauce. The burger was just fair. The lettuce, onion and the beef could have stood to be a lot fresher and the burger was not very substantial… quite small but on the flip side it was very inexpensive. I also got fries as well which I enjoyed the most out of the whole meal and had a hot ketchup that made it enjoyable. To sum it up I just wasn’t too impressed with what I had here and a person could easily get better burgers in town AND on 6th Ave.

Hill Top Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2278 Bay Settlement Rd, Green Bay

Definitely a gem in the rough! A cafe inside a gas station, and not even a separate space – just several tables and a long counter along one wall. But wow!! The prices were good especially considering the big portions. And everything was delicious! Husband had shrimp, perch, and fries. The shrimp were big and the breading on both shrimp and fish was light and crispy. I had a bacon cheeseburger and cheese curds. So much food and I had a hard time finishing the cheese curds because there was so much. We brought a ton of fries home. We went on a Friday evening, and our timing worked out well, just a few minutes after ordering the place was packed and more people were coming in waiting for tables. Several people took food to-go. Staff was friendly and efficient. The food was great. A lot of other reviews mention how good the fries are…and they are right! They know how to make perfectly crispy fries. Simple place that reminds me of a drive-in (i.e. the old Penguin in Manitowoc). I really liked it and will go back again!

Burger Boys – Menu with Prices – 2400 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville

Went here after reading the good reviews on here, I have to say without a shadow of a doubt this was the worst hamburger I have ever had. while he was getting our hamburger ready, I saw he took them from underneath a pan on the grill, I asked him if those were fresh burgers, he replied absolutely. they were not fresh, ordered 2 burgers and needed to wash down with a drink they were so dry. I told him it was our first time here, why on earth would somebody not put their best foot forward to impress, all to pawn off dried up hamburgers and lose a new customer for life. he was very friendly food was just horrible, no flavor and dry as hell, I also think he dipped the fries in water also- soggy as hell, he didnt put the fries in the fryer till after he had completed the burgers???? seems out of order to me-lol would not recommend, at least he got rid of to horrible burgers and fries-wow
