Food was good, although the service was horrible. Walked in at 8:50 PM August 31 2019 order number 34 and was greeted by 3 girls with a look of disgust and inconvenience. (Find another job if working Saturday nights is so painful.) I placed my order to dine in and sat down. As I sat and waited I could see the only priority for those 3 was to close up and leave. I watched them give the same look at 3 other customers. Flipped the sign closed at 858 and laughed after they told the last customer they were closed. At 910 my food was rushed to me in a to go bag. When I told her I ordered for her she sighed like it was such a big deal. I then said it’s fine I’ll eat in the to go containers. After opening the container I was missing sauces and 2 pieces of chicken. Each time they made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. Finally I ask for a manner and a young man comes out. I asked who the GM is and he told me Damien. If so I look forward to talking to you Damien.

House of Sweat Orlando – Menu with Prices – 985 W Fairbanks Ave, Orlando

Personal training with a personal touch! I became a client of Damien’s purely off referral, and as we all know, referral business is the best business. I was hesitant to meet him because the idea of a trainer can be intimidating…so much potential judgement – not even the case with Damien! I felt a sense of comfort and support from the minute we met. Our initial consultation consisted of an overall endurance test, which left me more than out of breath – yikes! But I knew after our initial meet and…sweat, that I would see results if I made the commitment to keep coming back. Damien’s training method is a combination of custom-tailored workouts and diet monitoring. Trusting him and his expertise in health and wellness has allowed me to see significant changes physically, mentally and nutritionally – more than my own individual efforts have ever achieved. Hours and availability are flexible; so whether you are an early riser or prefer sessions later in the day, you too can be accommodated. I can’t give enough praise and local love to this hidden gem. Above all else, Damien is more than a fitness guru, he is a friend. If you are tired of not seeing changes or just tired of your own excuses, make time in your schedule to head over to House of Sweat. It will not only help you push past your limits, but it will change your life!

That Wing Place Menu with Prices 360 Boniface Pkwy, Anchorage

Tonight I decided to branch out from my normal wing place (Buffalo Wild Wings, sue me), and try a local wing joit. To be fair, the biggest motivators for this decision was that they delivered, and that they offer a different selection of sauces (I’ve gotten into a baaaad Spicy Garlic habit and needed some change.) I’m a boneless wing girl, and like my wings very crispy! Now, onto the review. I placed an order for delivery and the man that took my order was polite and to the point, a trait that I really value in wait staff. One weird thing was that when asked if I could do four flavors for a Double Portion (20 wing) order, I was told I could only get 2 flavors unless I wanted to “mix” flavors. Alright, whatever, I’ll go with two. They quoted my order at 60-75 minutes for delivery, with the actual delivery time coming it at about 45-50 minutes. The driver was nice, too. No problems with staff. My order consisted of two flavors: Buffalo Blue Cheese, and Buffalo Ranch. I was excited to try them as they are not usually flavors found on my long worn BBW menu. Upon opening the containers I was met with some, er, disappointment. To say the least. With no exaggeration there were probably two tablespoons of sauce in each container. Okay…. I guess we will just need a little extra ranch to dip these in. Nope! Turns out not only were the wings underwhelming in flavor, they were soggy! Wish I could say I’m coming back, I really do want to support a local business, but that is just not the case. ?

Saint Louis Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 8624 Natural Bridge Rd, St. Louis

When this establishment first opened service was beyond slow so they overfilled the foam containers with food. Now they give you Tupperware sized delivery containers filled with rice and a scattering of the entree on top. Smaller size containers and more rice keep their costs low and your value as well. My second time trying delivery. The first time the foam container was filled with lo mein and just a bit of entree in the corner and the delivery driver got lost. I will not be patronizing them any longer. If you consider this the best in St. Louis, God help us all.

Luau Maui Hawaiian BBQ – Menu with Prices – 1060 E Harriman Pl, San Bernardino

This visit was quite possibly the worst I have ever experienced here! We placed a “to go” order and one of the things this restaurant is known for is their Hawaiian sauces. We got our order home and it looked like it had been thrown into the packaging. Then the food had zero sauce on any of our food. We looked to see if they put the sauce in separate containers and there was nothing. I had to drive back to the restaurant and tell the cashier that I needed sauce so I could eat my order . She just gave me this smirk like I was bothering her or something. She never offered even a simple apology, nothing but the smirk, oh yeah and we ordered an extra side of their famous macaroni salad too. This was the worst tasting salad I have ever eaten. I have eaten many salads over the years, by the way! We couldn’t eat more than a couple of bites and then threw the rest away. It was bad! And, it too was thrown in it’s container. I was very unhappy to have spent as much as I did on what ended up in my trash.

Sweet & Sour Snack n Deli – Menu with Prices – 1191 Ruben M Torres Blvd, Brownsville

Was told it was closed because of an event which was fine but then was asked what I was ordering ( was my first time here) but I ordered fresas con crema waited for the lady which seemed nice and desserts for event looked good but was handed literally a cup of just strawberries with whip cream on top I couldn’t have been more shocked most likely won’t be returning I usually don’t write reviews like this but if you’re closed put a sign up instead of giving a low rating item

Potato Corner Menu with Prices 3811 S Cooper St, Arlington

I found out about Potato Corner through Groupon. And I got the deal where I purchased a Groupon for $6 and it can be used for $10. I figured I’d scope out the Parks Mall next time I stopped by and see what it’s all about. It’s located right across from the Food Court on the second level. In the middle of the mall. The girl that was working was very friendly and told us up from the deal how you can choose a potato, pick whatever seasoning you wanted and she even gave us a sample to see which seasoning we liked most out of BBQ and Sour Cream & Onion. (they were out of Garlic Parmasean) which probably would’ve been our pick. But we got an order of 6 Chicken Fingers with 2 sauces for $5.99. The size of the chicken was was fine, and she said she could even season them, which I decided that’s seasoning overload for me and didn’t go there. And we got the Mega Loopy fries, which are just Curly Fries, with the BBQ seasoning which really was the best combo we liked.

Sam’s Gyros y Tacos – Menu with Prices – 3095 Fort Campbell Blvd H, Clarksville

I went in to get an order of fries for a friend and decided to get a Bulgogi Gyro for myself. I was going to get a Combo and let my friend, whom I was dropping off the fries for, have my fries. So I asked if they could put the fries into a separate container? Simple Enough?? Well I was told I couldnâ??t do that because my order of fries and the ones I would order separately were two different sizes. After trying to figure this reasoning out I finally said fine just give me a second order of fries. . I was a bit upset that they couldnâ??t figure out how to put the fries in a separate container, but afterwards was happy that they didnâ??t because my order was Hot, Fresh , and delicious. My Gyro was also delicious, so I have to say it worked out Okay . . I would recommend them, but a word of advice. Keep the order Simple

Buffalo Wings – Menu with Prices – 485 N Grande Ave, Tucson

So I’m being bias and cheering for small business. I should give it 3 stars, but I like small businesses to succeed. What was good about this place was how the wings were fried to a perfect texture and flavorful sauces for a good price. Where they could improve in a crowded market of wing restaurants is what I mostly saw. When you first walk in it appears to be an old converted Churches Fried Chicken or something similar. The service was pleasant enough, but the lady taking my order had a hard time with hearing the drive through on her head set. If you’re not able to hear orders from a customer across the counter from you that’s a problem. I understand it’s small business and they’re trying to figure out what they need to do so I hope they work it out soon. I’m able to hear the order is a 70 wing order. I am concerned they won’t be able to knock out my 20 wing order that I ordered before the drive through order. They made good on my order and completed it pretty quickly. Due to my 20 wing order, I was able to try two different flavors. I got the lemon pepper and their hottest. They don’t offer any dry wings, so I got my sauce on the side. The sauces are very good, but not a lot of choice. The hottest sauce was hot, but not that hot. The lemon pepper was solid. More sauces and rubs would be an easy way to expand their menu with not too much cost. The blue cheese dressing was good. Wings were smaller than I would prefer, but for the price not bad. My order was packed in two Sam’s Club styrofoam containers. This wasn’t ideal because the hot wings melted portions of my box. A sheet of wax paper could have prevented this, but small, new business. My containers were damaged when I received them, but were functional enough. I hope this place is successful.

Meat Masters, Inc. – Menu with Prices – 2020 S Fry Rd g, Katy

I have been here several times and enjoy their meat. The last time I went and will go again, was today. I walked in and they were having a very friendly conversation with a couple of regulars which is fine. I was greeted with a not so warm what can I get you. Another regular walked in and everyone in the back greeted them like family. It seems I was rushed out of the door, I had handed the butcher some frozen sausage to be included in my order which I never received. I felt like I was rushed out of the door. It felt like I was putting them out. I won’t do that to them again. Problem solved. No steak for you!!!

Cowtown Brewing Co – Menu with Prices – 1301 E Belknap St, Fort Worth

I used to come to Cowtown Brewing all of the time because it is right down the street from where I live. They had great BBQ and great flights. But clearly something has changed. I went there night before last, on Wednesday and ordered food for a friend and I. The food was ordered to go and placed at the bar. I waited there and my food took a little while, but thatâ??s fine. When it did come out, it came out on a tray to dine-in, but the order was correct. I kindly asked if they could make it to go, they took it back to put it in to go boxes and I thought no big deal. It was probably 15 minutes and they still hadn’t brought it back out, so I was getting concerned because they literally had to put it in a box. Now, by this point Kim or Ken, I can’t remember his name, noticed my frustrated look and went to check on it. He went to the back and then when he came out the food was not even correct. I was missing sides, the food for two different people was put in the same containers, the food at this point is cold and dry after he opened every box and then had another server open every box to double check that I was actually missing stuff when I repeatedly insisted it was incorrect. He became frustrated and said he couldnâ??t pull up my ticket because I already paid so he couldnâ??t tell me what I ordered, even though I KNOW WHAT I ORDERED. So then he went back to get the rest of the food, at this point this food had been sitting around for 30 minutes. He almost suggested microwaving it and I lost it. I’m pregnant and it was late and I was already waiting forever and so I just asked for my money back. He wasn’t concerned and made it seem like I was causing this big inconvenience when I paid 44 dollars for cold dry meat and missing sides, no sausage in the mac and cheese and then brought the sides out in a single container when they were for different people. I was getting so frustrated because no one was offering to do anything, like I’m supposed to just deal with it. I ended up leaving in tears after he slapped 40 dollars on the bar and just said to take the food and heat it up at home. He then said he wasn’t a bad person, but it took me crying because of how rude and dismissive everyone was. It was a slow night and it would not have killed anyone to have made sure the orders were coming out fresh and correctly and to make sure their customers, the ones paying for them to be in business are taken care of, especially very pregnant very hungry customers. Will NOT be back.

D?Edge Jamaican Flame – Menu with Prices – 94-14 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica

This is pretty much the only option for healthy meals on the go in this area. They have a good hot table during lunch. Lots of well prepared Caribbean food. Despite the sign, do not expect WiFi. The ambient music is 70’s midwestern Lite-FM, but the few available tables are clean, so stay and listen to your own music. There is also a busy juice bar. They play fast and loose with the prices here so ask lots of questions about the cost – even though the answers may change depending on who you speak to. They used to have fair pricing depending on the weight of what you scooped up from the steam table – like everybody else. But they charged a little more for fish, which seemed fair. Then they removed all written pricing and you paid whatever the person up front felt like charging you. This must have gotten them into trouble because they closed for a while and then reopened with a new pricing scheme: $7 for very small containers filled with anything except fish, $12 for a medium container without fish, etc. I didn’t see where the posted sign revealed how much fish would cost you. But it does say that they will charge you $2 if you overstuff your container and “the staff has to clean up behind you.” Odd. I eat a light lunch and used to enjoy having a mixture of fish and veggies with a little rice for $5-7. Now, I feel like a sucker for loading up anything except protein in that much tinier container that they are now charging $7 for. It’s all quite weird and I always leave feeling a little taken advantage of. But that’s what you can get away with when you’re one of the only decent hot & quick food purveyors in the area.

Candle Vino – Menu with Prices – 550 W Plumb Ln Ste C, Reno

Perfect place for time with friends. The girls wanted quiet girl time with wine while the guys were having band practice. But this spot isn’t just for the gals. There were several couples of all ages here on a late Saturday afternoon / evening. Juliette welcomed us in and had a table for four reserved for us and all set up, complete with aprons. She took our wine orders and showed us the wall to check out candle containers and the area for scents. And showed us the “menu” for container and fill prices. The menu is set up for first timers and returners. Each menu item shows a picture of the container, lists the container price, and the price and ounces for the wax and scent. So if you are returning with a container from a previous visit, your refill fees are easy to figure. Very simple, but Juliette was there to answer any questions. They offer soy, or soy and paraffin mix for wax. Three sections of scent flavors, and if you still can’t find your desire, they will help you mix one. You even have variety of colors for your wax. Be careful- colors will change as the wax hardens. The wine selection was very nice. It ranged from bubbles, whites and reds. A very decent variety. You can purchase by the glass or bottle. We were easily 3 hours. It took a while to choose containers, there was a variety of shapes, colors and sizes. Then scent. And lots of wine and chatter as we seriously watched the wax set. It really was cool to watch the liquid color cloud up and lighten as the wax hardened. The owner and Juliette were so friendly and fun. Parking is a breeze. Yes, the girls would all go again.
