This little cafe is within Frisco’s newest, and cutest neighborhood called The Grove Frisco. The salads and sandwiches are awesome! My girls love the cookies. The atmosphere is gorgeous! It’s a beautiful place for brunch or lunch and then they have casseroles and such to take home and bake for dinner. Brilliant concept and incredible location. Take first right going east after Main and Independence, take that road back, you’ll see signs.

Gourmandise To Go & Catering – Menu with Prices – 1000 Main St, Salt Lake City

Pretty exciting to see these guys expanding! The location is still close to downtown, so those of us living in the South half of the valley still have reasons NOT to give in to the urge to come here every day to stare at the beautiful deserts! But it is a little easier to get to (on Main Street) from the freeway and parking shouldn’t be a problem as this location is situated in a strip-mall with plenty of space. A few things to keep in mind: While the actual bakery is huge! and you can drool at the windows that look into that work area, they do not currently have everything here that can be found on the downtown menu or in the larger desert counter at the downtown location. -read – NO MARZIPAN CAKE!!! …yet ? Also, there is a seating area but it is much smaller than the downtown location. So, as the name suggests, this would be an ideal spot to grab a quick sandwich and mixed fruit tart to go. A tasty and indulgent lunch! Then there’s the hours. 10am-6pm makes sense for the neighborhood. Probably not a ton going on in that area into the evening, and its not exactly the neighborhood I’d dream of taking a nice Summer walk through. So until SLCs gentrification takes over and hip-i-fies this area too, I suppose closing at 6pm makes sense. At that point, I’ll just drive a few more minutes to the 300 East location. Glad they’re here, and I’m looking forward to delicious cakes and pastries…I mean quick and healthy soups and sandwiches…for lunch.

The Majestic Menu with Prices 911 King St, Alexandria

Well I made it to the Majestic. I’ve been meaning to get here forever and for some reason never made it. Finally here and I’m so happy we Made it !!!!! The Majestic is located on King Street in Old Town Alexandria Virginia. It’s a classy, nice and fun American restaurant. We were there for the Saturday brunch. First of all the brunch concept is great it gives you a kinda respectable way to drink alcohol in the morning. Speaking of alcohol we got the Majestic Mimosa Flight and let me tell you these are the best we’ve ever had. My favorite was the passion fruit, elderflower and my wife’s favorite the lavender, honey. Of course I had to have a beer as well. So, this started our dining experience perfectly. It was a beautiful day we we decided to eat outside, they don’t have a lot of outside eating and we felt lucky to get a table. Our waiter was fantastic, you could tell he enjoyed his job and he took good care of us throughout our meal. I was in my burger mood so I ordered the Majestic Burger and my wife the Prime Rib Omelette. The food came out pretty quickly and my burger was incredible, yummy, tasty, happy and delicious. While the Tun Tavern in the Marine Corp Museum is still my favorite burger of all time, the Majestic Burger zoomed into 2nd place among my favorite burgers. My wife sampled it and loved it too. Now the Prime Rib Omelette, it’s huge, it’s loaded with prime rib, it’s also happy, delicious and tasty. I sampled it and it’s a winner for sure. So, let me sum it up for you, I believe this is one of the best restaurants in Northern Virginia, trust me on this. It was a great atmosphere, incredible food, supreme service and the best Mimosas on the planet. Where it’s brunch, lunch or dinner you can’t go wrong here.

Union Tavern – Menu with Prices – 1914 E Sprague Ave, Spokane

My new favorite spot – I have been several times so far, afternoon and early evenings. I have found close, free street parking each visit. Service is consistent, attentive and conversational without being intrusive. It’s a breath of fresh air, just across from Bennidito’s in East Central. It has the look and feel of an established neighborhood anchor managed by hometown varsity. The interior is gorgeous, clean, exposed brick, vintage signs (including palmistry reading sign from prior reality at this location), and an incredible back bar that must be new to this space but feels like it was here for generations and recently refinished. They have “Power hour” from 3-4 pm M-F with 1$ Bud, BL and Konanee and $2 craft beer drafts. What?! Their food is also good – today I had the French dip w house fried chips – it was quite satisfying. Another good indicator – they serve popcorn to the table!

FRIDA southwest – Menu with Prices – 500 Paseo, Oklahoma City

Incredible experience at FRIDA Southwest. From the moment I saw this building from the outside, I knew I was going to be in for a treat. I love the tall windows that let all of the beautiful natural light into the space. My friend & I came her for a special evening & we both left extremely happy. Our server was very knowledgable, kind & suggested various dishes that we might be interested in trying. One of those suggestions was the Queso fundido, which is a MUST! It’s served on a cast iron skillet with an assortment of roasted peppers & onions. It was so good that we ate it with a spoon. No shame here. Our entrees consisted of the chicken tortilla soup & the BLT salad. I was very impressed with the table side pour service for the soup. I visibly saw that quality of ingredients in the soup before the liquid was even added & apparently this is a popular method of serving quality soups that is practiced in popular restaurants on the east & west coast. When I took my first bite of this soup, I couldn’t believe how wonderful it was. The blend of spices, textures & flavors was out of this world. I’m meticulously still trying to figure out how to recreate this soup at home. It was THAT good. The BLT salad was also equally incredible. It’s a perfect amount of salad (not too much & not too little) and the quality of ingredients really paired well with the soup. Our server recognized that we were celebrating that evening (low-key bachelorette dinner) and gave us the choice of a complimentary dessert. I couldn’t resist & chose the Mexican hot chocolate cheesecake. Let me tell you this: the cheesecake was gone in about 2 minutes flat. SO GOOD. I already can’t wait to come back & try new dishes. Thank you for bringing this incredible concept to OKC. I’m very happy that there is finally a place that blends Santa Fe/Southwest cuisine to our city. Two thumbs way up for FRIDA!

Parkshore Grill – Menu with Prices – 300 Beach Dr NE #104, St. Petersburg

Overall a good restaurant that has good food, good service, and a good location.\n\nI prefer their lunch or Sunday brunch menu over their dinner menu. Shrimp and grits off their brunch menu is delicious. Good selection of salads and bowls for lunch. Service is always efficient and professional. \n\nI prefer to eat outside here. Lively outdoor sidewalk dining along Beach Drive, across the street from the water. \n\nI do think the inside dining room could use a face lift. It feels dated and stodgy. With the exception of a couple of tables in the very front of the house, the rest of the dining room looks and feels like a cafeteria. I sit outside when possible.\n\nAlso, I think it’s a tad pricey for what it is, particularly the dinner menu. Many dinner entrees don’t come with sides and I don’t consider Parkshore that type of fine dining experience.

Beautiful Beginnings – Menu with Prices – 1002 N Central Expy # 511, Richardson

I am not a big reviewer, but have received such great service by Munoz Signs, that anyone looking for signs/banners/posters in the Dallas area needs to give them a call. We had a rush order for yard signs and big 4′ posters, last week and Allison at Munoz Signs not only gave me the best price, but she gave great suggestions for different materials to use so I got the best product for my $$. AND, they produced all of the signs within the rushed time frame. We also used them for our permanent retail sign, and it is beautiful and at a lower price than our previous vendors. Awesome service, terrific products.

Merkado31 On The Beach – Menu with Prices – 216 71st St, Miami Beach

Unbelievable food and service, Jose was incredible and when my wife told him it was her first time trying Peruvian dishes he went above and beyond explaining each dish and provided small samples of chichi morrotta and fresh fried corn nuts for our ceviche. I had the grilled octopus and it was incredible, it is listed as an appetizer but it’s a meal unto itself. We travel a lot and this is one of the best restaurants we’ve found in ages. Follow up – We went again and this time for lunch. Ask your server for the lunch menu, it has loads of choices and is a set price of $10. Lunch includes an appetizer and an entree. The food was once again incredible and the portions were so big we had our left overs for dinner.

The Oaks Kitchen and Bar – Menu with Prices – 2100 Cane Island Pkwy Suite B, Katy

We finally made it over to the Elks today for their brunch. Very very disappointing. Out of five orders only one was correct and it came out 15 minutes before the others. Then two more orders came, waited five minutes the fourth order came in finally a couple more minutes later the fifth order came. They made three corrections on the meals and the fourth person just shrugged her shoulders and just said sheâ??d eat it even though it wasnâ??t totally what she ordered. Had to request several times for refills on coffee. They did not serve hot tea on the brunch menu. The waiter although nice seemed very confused and inexperienced when we had so many issues with our meal. We asked for the manager twice and except for adjusting and re-ordering the incorrect orders he just walked off after that. Hope they get their act together as itâ??s close to home and we would like to try it again. The reviews for lunch and dinner seems to be more favorable so maybe brunch is just not their thing.

City Girl Cafe & Catering – Menu with Prices – 204 Hampshire St, Cambridge

Awesome spot for weekend brunch! M and I came in around 1pm on a Saturday and were immediately seated. I was worried because they don’t take reservations, but there were several open tables. It’s a pretty small space, so I’m guessing if we’d been there earlier during more prime brunch hours there would probably have been a wait. It was also one of the first really beautiful Saturdays this spring and they don’t have outdoor seating so I’m guessing many Cambridge bunch aficionados opted for other venues. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and happy to give recommendations, but not overbearing. She refilled waters regularly throughout the meal which I very much need. We never felt rushed, even when we lingered over coffee and waters for a good 20 minutes after we’d paid our bill. We both had the rosemary brunch punch which was yummy but I’ll probably stick to my go-to brunch bev of a mimosa in the future. M was definitely disappointed there were no bloody marys (beer and wine only), so keep that in mind if that’s your boozy brunch staple. Also, there was a flavored mimosa special that I didn’t know about because it was written on a chalkboard that was hidden behind other patrons. I saw it when we left. They should make sure they tell people about specials if they’re not in the written menu. I couldn’t decide which awesome brunch option to order so I had the breakfast sandwich with caramelized onions (at our waitresses recommendation) and a side of the famous french toast. I’m way more a savory than a sweet person so that was the perfect amount of sugar for me. That said, it was way too much food. I only ate half of my sandwich, but the rest made for a great lunch at work on Monday! Both were delicious! M had the monte cristo sandwich which was served ON the french toast. He said the flavors were all awesome but the proportions were off. The french toast is too thick so they’d be better serving it open face on just one piece of toast rather than a traditional sandwich. He also said he couldn’t really taste the prosciutto because the turkey flavor overpowered it. Decor is homey and inviting. You feel like your friend’s very sweet but slightly eccentric grandmother invited you over for tea. There’s lots of potted plants in the windows and cute signs and pictures all over the walls. I’ll be back to try the biscuits and gravy and maybe to try dinner as well.

Vogel’s Lounge – Menu with Prices – 1112 Arcade St, St Paul

I just moved to the east side from Appleton, Wisconsin and was looking for a neighborhood bar. This place is just like the taverns back home. Older crowd, super-friendly, ice cold beer. When I walked in it felt like home. If you’re a woman, they have a policy that someone will walk you to your car when you leave.
