I absolutely love their breakfast options! I know it’s funny to hear me say it, but I really do love going there for their breakfast menu. I live around the cover so it’s super convenient for me and my family to walk down. We love the environment and the vibes that the workers give us. They are super nice to my daughter and always seem so happy to serve! I’ve never had a bad experience for as long as I’ve been going there. The only downside is that 8 out of 10 times I’m craving a sandwich and they are closed on Sunday! Oh well. I still love this place!

Mr. Deli And Mrs. Too! – Menu with Prices – 2023 Linglestown Rd, Harrisburg

I was really craving a bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich for breakfast for a change up of my Saturday morning errands routine instead of something like McDonald’s … I wanted to try something new and this was such a good find! I didn’t anticipate the location to have as much seating/dining-in space as they did, but I got my order to go at the register up front and it was a quick turnaround. The service was good friendly – and you could tell that the gentleman at the front recognized a few of the in and out-going customers. The sandwich was hot off the grill, hearty, and so good – will definitely be back! Only small downside is that I love strong-brewed coffee and I just wasn’t a fan of this specific location’s coffee that I had alongside the sandwich this morning – that’s no reason not to go there for all the other good things though!

El Buen Sabor – Menu with Prices – 89-20 163rd St, Jamaica

I was walking by looking for breakfast and this was the only spot open and ready to serve at 8:30 in the morning on a Sunday. Thank goodness for them! They serve all types of breakfast options including a Honduran/South American style of breakfast with beans and avocados. The place is simple, clean and takes credit cards (which believe it or not is a rarity in this section of Jamaica Queens). If you’re in Queens and need some early morning eats, this is probably your best bet!

Valentino’s – Menu with Prices – 2701 S 70th St, Lincoln

We arrived at the restaurant about 2:30 on a Sunday and were told that on Sunday’s they serve breakfast buffet and dinner buffet but no lunch buffet. We were also told that the breakfast buffet had ended so we paid $31 for two dinner buffets. All we really got was the leftover food from breakfast/lunch. The pizza was cold. The pastas were cold. The gravy had a crust on it. The hot desserts were all almost gone and not very warm. Even the cinnamon twists were cold and hard. I would not recommend going to this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. We may go back and try it sometime for dinner…but maybe not!

BreadHive Bakery & Cafe – Menu with Prices – 402 Connecticut St, Buffalo

I’ve had a few people rave about the breakfast sandwiches here, so I finally got to give them a shot after a night out in Buffalo. I now understand the hype! I came here with two others on a Sunday morning around 10am. The shop on the inside is small but had a few booths and tables. They have a good outdoor seating section though, which was perfect on this warm, sunny morning. When we showed up, there were a few people sitting outside and a couple inside and we virtually didn’t have to wait in line at all. The menu, in my opinion, is perfectly sized with a variety of breakfast sandwich and lunch sandwich options, a wide variety of bagels, pretzel rolls, and other types of breads, as well as pastries and desserts. They also appeared to have a good amount of vegan items on the menu too. The staff behind the counter were very conscientious and easy to talk to. So I was told to try “The Aaliyah” breakfast sandwich (scrambled eggs, house breakfast sausage, cheddar cheese, butter, and maple syrup) on a bagel for my first time here. So I ordered that on a Rosemary Salt bagel and a cup of coffee. The price for the sandwich and coffee came in just under $10, which I thought was pretty fair. Afterwards, I sat outside and sipped on my cup of joe with my party and it seemed like maybe ten minutes passed and each of our sandwiches were ready. So first thing I noticed was how big this thing was! The amount of egg and cheese was perfect! What really sets this sandwich off though is the breakfast sausage: it was cooked perfectly and had a little spice to it (maybe sage?) and was tender and just so fresh. The maple syrup helped to balance the flavor out between the egg and breakfast sausage and it was not dumped on the sandwich, it was just the right amount where you could tell it was there. I’m not a huge bagel guy, but man, that Rosemary Salt bagel was phenomenal and had a nice chew to it. I’m glad they wrap the sandwich when they serve it though because it feels like the fillings want to slide right off. The sandwich itself though was perfectly sized though as that with a cup of coffee set my day off right and left me very satisfied! I’m very impressed by this little place! I would love to come back and try one of their lunch sandwiches but would be just as happy to order another “Aaliyah”. ?

The Mug Shot Coffee and Eatery – Menu with Prices – 205 S Sierra St #104, Reno

A little conflicted about this place. I like the location and the decor/ambiance inside. Seems like a place you could hang out in for a while and do work or chat casually with friends. Not super crowded both times I’ve been there, which is nice. Per the name, there are lots of mugshots of celebrities on the wall, which is fun. The have a mix of breakfast and lunch items, but the emphasis seems to be on breakfast. They have a super fun waffle/oatmeal/yogurt toppings bar with a lot of options. They also have a lot of options for coffee and tea. The one thing I don’t like is there isn’t a great option to just get a simple breakfast sandwich, like egg and cheese on bread. Their breakfast sandwich comes with meat and avocado on the choice of a bagel/croissant, which is lovely if that’s what you’re looking for but I’m a simple girl (and vegetarian) and don’t need all that stuff on my sandwich. Unfortunately they charge you the same price either way, so it ends up being $9 just for an egg and cheese on bread, which is kind of crazy. I can literally walk a block away and get an egg/cheese on an English muffin for $3. Also there is a discrepancy between the menu and what’s in their POS system because the menu board says $8 for a fully loaded sandwich and the system rings it up at $9, which I pointed out to the cashier. I think I’d come back again if I’m looking for a big fancy breakfast, but this unfortunately won’t be my go to daily breakfast spot, which is a bummer because I literally work a block away.

Number e food – Menu with Prices – 1308 Burrard St, Vancouver

If you’re going to be good at anything passion for what you are doing is the number one driver for anyone to have success abd be called a master. no matter what industry or service this must be Number 1 and Number E has just that. Number E does it right. I came in this morning for a breakfast sandwich as soon as they opened the doors at 10 a.m. There wasn’t a breakfast sandwich on menu so the owner suggested to get a BLT and add an egg. Done! In between his sandwich making I asked him what the shops name meant.. He gavr me a very simple story “I knew this older man that ran a restaurant that I frequented and this man only had letters to order the food on his menu. English was not so good, the food was and yet he found a way to serve the people with the food he’d love to serve the people with that’s what you get at Number E.” Great sandwiches and great people that love what they’re doing and they put their passion into the sandwich. We as patrons surely get rewarded here. He handed my sandwich and left me with these words, “it’s going get messy. Let gravity do it’s work.” On to the sandwich: the bun is very soft, sprinkled with Himalayan rock salt. The vegetables were deliciously sauced up (I am not usually a fan of veggies) and are good. The egg fits perfectly in the sandwich bun and the rest of the ingredients is perfectly and meticulously layered in the sandwich. Lastly but one of the most important component the egg (add-on) which perfectly is cooked and just oozes once you bite into it. Amazing till the last bite

Milkcow Cafe – Ice Cream | Tea | Dessert – Menu with Prices – 1517 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena

I had the best Sunday ever since my day ended with Milkcow desserts! I never liked other places for their milky soft serves but fell in love with the milky soft serve at Milkcow. 1)M3 Milky Cube The milky soft serve with honeycomb is my favorite because it was not super sweet. But it was super milky! I fell in love with their milky cube!! If you want your soft serve sweeter, it is adjustable with the type of toppings you can choose from. 2) Watermelon Sandwich Be careful when you hold it! It’s pretty heavy since the watermelon slice is huge! You don’t want your beautiful watermelon sandwich to drop. The texture of the soft serve was amazing and has a generous portion size! It is easily shareable with your friends and family if you want to share or you can just eat the whole thing by yourself if you’re a lover of desserts like me! 3) Uji Matcha Latte with Cheese Foam The drink is not only beautiful but has strong matcha flavor compared to other matcha drinks I have tasted. I can taste the high quality of matcha that they use. Also, the cheese foam is smooth and not too heavy which matches very well with the uji matcha. The interior of the store is very nicely decorated and has seats for you to sit inside so you can enjoy your delicious desserts and drinks. I can definitely see how the employees take their time to ensure that your desserts and drinks are the highest quality possible. I even saw one of the employees carefully inspecting the watermelon slice for the watermelon sandwich to make sure only the best ones are served to their customers. Try MilkCow when you’re looking for a dessert place for their drinks, soft serves, and more!

Kettle Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 5503 San Bernardo Ave, Laredo

I give this restaurant 2 stars for effort. My family and I went after Sunday church service looking for a hearty breakfast but instead had a mediocre experience. We sat near the booth that had the dish washer behind it which didn’t matter at first until he wet us and didn’t even apologize when i confronted him to take it easy in the water because we were getting wet. After that nothing but loud slamming dishes like if we had bothered the guy which seemed to be the manager or owner as well. Our order took about 20 minutes which is ok because Sunday it was busy than usual. So it is better to go during the week for a nice quite breakfast. We finished our breakfast and were ready to pay literally stood by the register which was left unattended and it right by the door mind you and no one seem to notice me. All the servers and employees just kept looking at me and passing me by until 8 to 10 minutes later someone finally acknowledged me and charged me. Hire more staff at least for the weekends and please have someone at the register at all times and the place could use and update

SunRayz Juice + Cafe – Menu with Prices – 9390 Huebner Rd #106, San Antonio

I called this place on a Sunday morning because my body was craving freshm, green juices. Sadly, I couldn’t visit this place as soon as I got into San Antonio. It was only about an 8-minute drive from my hotel. I made sure sure to call them beforehand and they assured me that they had all of the juices available. You bet I was happy to find their all-green juices + their detox and antioxidant shots. Also, because I ordered a bowl, I got a free coffee (used the Yelp check-in offer). I bought 6 juices (got 1 free) and it was more than enough for the next 2 days. The oats & apples breakfast bowl was perfect the next day (just refrigerated) and it was plenty enough to share with my husband and daughter. My order came out to about $75 and it was money well spent. The two staff members in there were super nice and super helpful with everything. I could not wait to dig into those juices. My body thanked me about a million times each time I drank one. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Usually with cold-pressed juices, I add flaxseed, spirulina and chlorella to them to help complete my daily green juice regimen. The shots were perfect because they had ginger. It was such a cute shop, too. When I came in I was greeted and each staff member was busy, hard-at-work creating the fresh juice experience. I read that that this was a locally-owned and operated business. Of course I would support these businesses over others any day of the week. Thank you (from me & my family) for being awesome and having all of your incredible juices for me.

The Neighborhood Cafe – Menu with Prices – 947 State St, New Haven

I wanted this place to be good. It should be packed all the time. But I’ve given it multiple tries and have been disappointed each time. My most recent experience was the worst. I popped in at 11am hoping to grab a quick breakfast sandwich and coffee to go. About half the tables were occupied, so it wasn’t overwhelmingly busy. When the person in front of me ordered a breakfast burrito, she was told that it would be a 10-15 minute wait because there were two families that just ordered (not sure why that would cause a holdup, I feel like dealing with families should be typical of a Sunday morning). Despite knowing there could be a 15 minute wait, I ordered a breakfast burrito anyway. I also ordered a coffee. They were out of regular coffee. I don’t know how that happens at a breakfast place. I then waited for 40 minutes for one breakfast burrito. 40 minutes. My girlfriend called me ask if I was still alive. I have seen places 3 times as busy and never waited more than 10 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. I don’t know if they don’t have the right equipment, if it’s disorganized, or something else but it’s absurd to wait that long for two eggs wrapped in a tortilla. Other times I’ve gone there always seems to be something. It’s never easy. I always have to ask them to top off the coffee because they leave two inches of space for fix ins (not a big deal but it’s the same even when I say “just a tiny bit of room for cream”). Happens every time. I’ve also had the owner taken my order while she was on a personal call. She continued her call while I ordered. Didn’t even stop to say “good morning” or “what can I get you”. When I got home, the order was wrong. You always feel like you’re in the way there- like you’re inconveniencing them. I was hoping that it was just growing pains. Hopefully they get themselves organized, it could be a great addition to state street.

Blue Owl Catering – Menu with Prices – 797 E Ray Rd, Gilbert

I will NEVER be able to say enough nice stuff about Blue Owl Catering (but let me try!) 1. They actually RESPONDED to my online request for information. I guess everyone else doesn’t want new business??? 2. We had a pleasant conversation about how to schedule, set-up, and offer options for my event. Hey, it wasn’t a HUGE event…but it was HUGE to me and my employees! 3. They showed up as requested prior to the event to check out the space and discuss logistics. 4. They showed up ON TIME for my event (saving me a lot of stress). Worked through rain issue and were ready to serve my employees a HOT BREAKFAST right on time. 5. My employees and I LOVED the food. We selected four items (biscuits & gravy, breakfast sandwich, pesto sunrise sandwich, and oatmeal to offer for HOT BREAKFAST MONTH. Those B&G were out the door in a HURRY because…DELICIOUS!!! I personally had the breakfast sandwich with bacon and it was truly one of the best breakfast sammies I’ve ever had. Eggs cooked to perfection, crispy bacon and mmmmmmelted cheese on a toasted bun that was the perfect consistency. 6. When (sadly) it was all over, we settled up quickly, they cleaned up and 30 minutes later, it was all a delicious happy memory. Thanks again Blue Owl Catering for making my event special.

Superhero Subs – Menu with Prices – 518 Bergen Ave, Jersey City

This place went from 5 stars to 1star. On multiple occasions I have tried to get a sandwich and the business was either closed, (although their hours of operation suggested otherwise) or they were closing even though the hours of operation said something else. I took a cab 3x to this place only to be let down. 1st & 2nd time – Sunday November 6th,2016 & Sunday Nov. 13th Hours of operation say 11am-5pm I got there at 12:15 pm and the gate was down. 2nd time I got there at 2:35pm and gate was down. 3rd time Saturday November 26th,2016 Got there at 5:45pm and the lady said “sorry we’re closing, although hours of operation state they close at 9pm. I’m super disappointed and disgusted with this establishment and do not recommend!
