When I saw many 5 star reviews for the Light Line Cafe, I was suspicious as to whether they were legit reviews, but after my visit here, I had no doubt that this little place was worth all 5 stars. We walked in and were right away greeted with smiles and told to sit anywhere. The server got the drink order and came back in less than a minute. After ordering, it took, what seemed like, five minutes for the food to arrive. My plate was simple, yet everything was cooked so well. The meat was moist, hash browns were crisp, eggs were fluffy, and my toast was generously topped with butter. My soda was always refilled before I was out. I must have received five refills. The hosts were so polite, and one lady vaguely remembered me from a visit long ago. Service was quick even though it was a rush hour. I love that, with the exception of the chairs, everything looks original from the 1930s or so. Great ambiance with a fantastic view of the Airport runway and watching planes take off and land. Such a wonderful cafe.

Braz Coffee Shop – Menu with Prices – 108 E Dakin Ave, Kissimmee

This was the fourth time I came for breakfast at brass Café, and I always enjoyed it so far. Again this morning I ordered my café latte and my breakfast a total of $10 worth. My coffee wasn’t that hard so I asked for a 2nd cup after I finish the first one, by that time I had received my omelette. The youngster at the counter wanted me to come up and pay for my second cuppa coffee and I said well, let me eat my hot meal first and I also would like to have a take out dinner. He refused and told me that the bus would not except that. I am a 73-year-old lady, recently widowed with a bad back, heart disease and COPD. Even though I paid a tip I still had to get up for my first cuppa coffee and get it from the counter because apparently he would not bring it to me, So what do I tip for? Bad service? The lady who cooked omelette has always been very kind polite and sweet but she was. In the kitchen area. Needless to say I ate my breakfast without anything to drink I did not get my second cuppa coffee so I did not order my take-out order. Needless to say I will never come back usually I brought neighbors or friends which I won’t do either. So you lost $$ And a customer today because of a rude youngster who has no manners!

Lucky Penny Cafe – Menu with Prices – 950 Pacific Ave, Tacoma

I was vaguely aware that there was a restaurant housed where Lucky Penny is but I didn’t pay too much attention to it until an acquaintance of mine that works at a nearby coffee shop recommended it to me. I was excited to try something new and it was a short walk from where I work so a visit here was easily to pencil in during my lunch hour. The entrance to the cafe is inside the World Trade Center building so you have to go in the main entrance off of Pacific and in the lobby turn right. The place seems very popular! There are about three or four tables out in the lobby to eat your meal at but most customers take their orders to go and most likely eat their breakfast or lunch back at their desks at their nearby work. Lucky Penny is teeny tiny so it can fill up fast but they have a good list of menu items and a good variety of snacks like chips and drinks like soda in the can or bottle. If you don’t get your order to go and you sit at one of the tables in the lobby chances are someone from the cafe will serve it to you when your order is ready…that doesn’t mean waiter service though. Once you get your order you are on your own then. I got an excellent BLT, probably the best one I’ve had in quite a long time here. It was fresh and the bacon was good quality and not so fatty that that is what you are mostly eating. The bread and veggies that came with it were very fresh as well, always important to me. I will definitely keep Lucky Penny in mind for future lunches since it was very enjoyable and I am eager to try some of their other sandwiches that they offer!

MKT Distillery – Menu with Prices – 5373 1st St, Katy

I came here to eat with my husband and friends and we were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. We had to wait 1 hour for our crawfish when he told us it would take 10 minutes. We watched 3 other tables( that arrived after us) receive their crawfish before we did. When we asked for butter he said that we wouldn’t need it. When we finally received the butter it was fake butter that was barely edible. We also asked for corn and potatoes to go with our order and we never received it. Additionally we order 2 links of sausage and received 1 link. The owner stated that the one sausage ring was 2 links together (that makes no sense)

Nordstrom Ebar Artisan Coffee – Menu with Prices – 2613 Preston Rd, Frisco

This one’s my favorite coffee shop it’s right outside of Nordstrom’s and part of Nordstrom’s inside Stonebriar Mall. It has a good variety of coffee I like the dark mocha but the plus about this coffee shop is the drip coffee is unlimited refills. Not all the employees here will inform you of that but there was a really nice lady I wish I could remember her name but she let me know one day and ever since now my hubby goes and gets the refills when he’s with me.

Hibachi Of Japan II – Menu with Prices – 7335 Radio Rd #105, Naples

If I could I will give them 0 stars review!! The lady who served us was very unfriendly and very na..sty So we were waiting for our food and in the mean time we got some drinks She screamed at us why we got the soda from the soda machine We asked her if we have to pay it because in so many places you don’t have to pay for soda and she still Continued to be very rude After she left from our table she went and talked about us with the other employees and in the same time she was looking at us because we were the first table. Finally after 40 min of waiting we were served (trying to be nice because she throw the plate on the table in front of me) The food was not delivered in the same time so pretty much on person on the table was eating and the rest of us we were looking at the person that was eating. I want to leave but you don’t get your money back or at least not with the attitude that this la lady had. When I ask if I can talk to a manager they told me that the manager was not there, was not available plus you don’t know their names because nobody has any ID’s so you can know who talked to… I hope it was just a bad day for some of us but most likely I will not go back

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 703 Brandon Ave SW, Roanoke

I just went to tropical smoothie cafe for the 1st time and will be going back there after any workouts that I possibly can! I got the peanut paradise smoothie because the young lady on drive-through told me it was her favorite so I figured why not try it. And she was not kidding it is an amazingly delicious smoothie.she said to add the pea protein and it will make it taste like birthday cake and she was not Lying. She was very informative and polite which I appreciate! Also I got the Caribbean jerk chicken wrap and it is A-may-zing!!

Wing & Fish Georgia – Menu with Prices – 690 Powder Springs St, Marietta

Affordable, delicious, and welcoming, Wing and Fish is one of my favorite places to eat. Their menu hosts a wide variety of selections, from American classics (wings, burgers, and Philly cheesesteaks) to eastern fusion dishes such as teriyaki chicken, yakisoba, and sesame chicken. Furthermore, the staff is extremely friendly, especially the Korean owners who can often be seen at the cash register. They’re extremely loyal to regulars, and remember the names of frequent customers. Their attitude is spectacular and I wish them success in their business ventures. Wing and fish boasts a peach lemonade that is out of this world and while I try to stay away from soda, this particular drink is one I can never resist! The serving sizes are generous to say the least, and they are very accommodating of requests for sauce adjustments. They have TVs visible from anywhere and if the restaurant is relatively empty, will take channel change requests. Usually, the channels are set to sports or sitcoms. In my opinion, wing and fish has very fair prices, especially considering the portion size and excellent service received. If near this area, definitely swing by!

Royal Ground Coffee – Menu with Prices – 2342 Clement St, San Francisco

Hands down my favorite coffee shop! I used to live in the neighborhood and would go as often as I could, now I will literally drive across town just to drop in. Once it had been almost a year since my last visit, and that wonderful lady still remembered my usual! The coffee is superb, and they are so quick. For a while I was doing triple shot medium lattes (y’know, just a little kick) and they always got it just right. Now I’ll go for a dirty chai, which is just as delicious. I’ll usually get one of their breakfast sandwiches too, which are always pretty satisfactory. You can’t go wrong, and they are so nice. Excellent service, lovely atmosphere, damn good coffee. Yes, please!

Rockfire Grill – Menu with Prices – 301 Main St, Huntington Beach

Honestly…. I’m not sure why the rating for this place is 4.5 stars. First of all, as some reviews mentioned, service leaves something to be wanted. I understand the meat and bread are made fresh, so waiting extra time for my burger made sense. What didn’t make sense was how long it took to bring water, drinks, and appetizers. The water is served in small plastic cups. That was annoying because we needed refills more often and it took forever to get more water. Forget soda refills, which at least is served in a standard sized restaurant cup. The burgers were tasty, which was why I gave them three stars. It is a fairly small burger though, required additional salt and pepper and is not served with anything else. If you are looking for high protein, this isn’t the place to go. We also tried the Nashville Spicy Chicken, which is spicy. Very hot. So hot in fact, that it comes with a glass of milk. However, with no mention, we were offered no glass. It was needed, so my husband had to go find someone to ask about it(because no one checked on us) and they said, “oh, we are out of milk”. Also, the table next to us was never cleared the entire time we were there. We came on a Friday night and there were only four other tables with people. So, hey weren’t busy. Which is an indicator of their overall value. Also, I used the restroom when I arrived and when I left and there was no toilet paper either time. Try another spot. Or come solo when you aren’t that hungry and get a burger.

Wharf Casual Seafood Bannerman – Menu with Prices – 3439 Bannerman Rd F103, Tallahassee

I have enjoyed the excellent food and service at the Wharf for quite a few years now. I have also used the Wharf catering service on multiple occasions with rave reviews from everyone at the event I was hosting. My friend and I ate seafood platters for a late lunch today and spent hours talking like we always do after lunch. We were welcome to stay as long as we wanted to and the refills on ice tea kept coming throughout. The fresh shrimp were cooked perfectly as always, and the hush puppies were perfect crisp on the outside, not oily, and soft on the inside. What stood out at this afternoon’s visit was a new server, Krystal. Even though a casual restaurant, Krystal served unobtrusively and graciously as if I were in a top Atlanta midtown restaurant. She is one of the few wait people who really heard me when I said I use a lot of lemon in each glass of tea and I do several refills throughout the afternoon talk with my friend. Krystal is excellent and good table service is definitely part of a good dining experience! I hope the Wharf keeps her on staff because her quality of friendly Southern service really adds to a relaxed and pleasant dining environment. Thank you Krystal and thank you Wharf.

Laura Cooks Menu with Prices 875 N Randolph St # B, Arlington

The name of the deli is a little boring, “Laura Cooks”. Okay, a lot of people cook, so what!? Nevertheless, this place is okay. I ordered a tuna wrap which was a little over $7. It was solid and would definitely order again. Nothing special, but it was fairly large and fulfilled my hunger. It didn’t take too long to receive my wrap which I appreciated. I got my wrap to go, but noticed that if you order soda, it is 75 cents for a refill. I think that’s ridiculous and bad business. Most places offer free refills on soda and rightfully so. Don’t make a special trip to this place if you are not in the neighborhood. But if you want something quick and simple for lunch, and are in the neighborhood, this is a decent place.

Carriage House Café – Menu with Prices – 1015 E Clay St, Richmond

This is my second visit to Carriage House Cafe and it won’t be my last. After reviewing the menu online, I ordered the Valentine Garden specialty sandwich with added Tofurky and the potato salad as my side. The servers were polite and patiently answered my vegan questions (of course I had to slide me being vegan in there somewhere ). The sandwich was neatly assembled and full of flavor. The added Tofurky definitely “beefed” up the size of the sandwich so I’ll be saving the other half for dinner. I’m thoroughly impressed and look forward to my next visit.
