The family I nanny for always get these amazing doughnuts that say Happy Birthday & get their names in doughnuts. They looks great and taste amazing! I really wanted some just cause, so I went today & got some. I think the donut itself tastes like a funnel cake, which is awesome. Then they add icing on it and it’s omg so good. Great prices, super helpful and the most friendly people ever. I can’t say enough good words about this donut shop. It was only my first trip, and it was memorable. When ya work with kids and they get so excited over fun, colorful sweets, this place is your lifesaver! Go try them out, but they’re open to 12pm so get there before lunch, so you’re not waiting by their windows saying “open, open, open” lol

Mary Ann Donut Kitchen Menu with Prices 1601 Liberty St, Allentown

Mary Ann Donut is the best! I got married in May & I’m not much of a cake person so I had doughnuts for my big day. I heard great things about this place and knew we had to try them. My husband and I went one Saturday morning got two doughnuts and coffee. The doughnuts were incredible and I knew then that Mary Ann Donut had to make my doughnuts for my wedding. The whole staff is very friendly & helpful. They were so accommodating & made the process simple and painless. I had nothing to worry about when it came to my doughnuts. On top of the doughnuts the baker made me assorted cookies- they do it all! Everything came out amazing & of course tasted delicious! The guests at my wedding raved about the doughnuts for weeks! I would highly recommend stopping at Mary Ann Donut. I wish I lived closer because I would be there every day. Great atmosphere, amazing bakery items & extremely reasonable prices.

Sugar Shack Donuts & Coffee – Menu with Prices – 801 William St, Fredericksburg

VVVVVVVEEEEEEEGGGGGAAAAAANNNNNNNN DOUGHNUTS. I was ecstatic. Oddly enough, though, the employees reminded me of my local Sugar Shack (which RIGHTFULLY closed down) in Cocoa Village back in Florida. Kinda…distant…seemed to be fighting themselves not to be short with us. We’re excited, indecisive tourists ordering a dozen doughnuts, sorry we don’t know what your UNLABELED stuff is called. When we closed out the transaction, the employee said ‘have a nice week’ and we took it to mean ‘don’t come back for a week’. It just came off odd. Wonder if that’s the local vernacular. Instead of ‘have a nice day’ it’s ‘have a nice week’. Oh well. The doughnuts were AMAZING. Every single one was loved by all parties. The kids, the picky adults, the vegan, everyone! Very glad we stopped here. Would recommend!

Duck Donuts – East Cobb – Menu with Prices – Merchant’s Walk Shopping Center, 1281 Johnson Ferry Rd, Marietta

What a great donut shop! I came in very excited to try the new donut shop! I was not disappointed. I have never heard of a make-your-own donut shop until today. What a creative idea! You can order custom toppings, icing, and whatever you want! They also have a menu of types of donuts you can order if you don’t know what to pick. I will admit that it is overwhelming to decide what topping you want, there are so many to chose from! I ended up going with the Cinnamon Sugar donut! The prices are very reasonable. Only $1.50 for custom donut. What a bargain! I highly recommend Duck Donuts for any type of donuts! They also have coffee, hot chocolate, and breakfast sandwiches. I will have to try that next time!

The Donut Tree – Menu with Prices – 16100 TX-121 #120, Frisco

Sausages in the kolaches are tiny. Specialty donuts priced $2.50-$4. Kind of expensive. Every time I asked the lady at the counter for the price of a donut, she would take a piece of paper and look at the price. Because all their donuts priced differently, it is very annoying, unless you do not care about a price. Nothing special including green tea donut. Got my kid donut with colorful icing and a unicorn on top. I thought it was a cookie, but you can not even eat a unicorn, because it is made of sugar that feels like a rock in your mouth. What is the point of making a cute kids donut, if there is a part of it that they have to throw away?

Bon Ton Doughnuts – Menu with Prices – 1225 Belt Line Rd #14, Garland

I have been going to Bon Ton Doughnuts since I was a little kid. While I have grown up and lived other places, bon ton is still my favorite doughnut shop. My go-to’s are the chocolate cake sprinkle and a dozen donut holes but everything is pretty good. Definitely get a kolache if you love them and try the frosted sprinkle donut holes if you want something different. ?

The Jelly Donut – Menu with Prices – 443 Dutton Ave, Santa Rosa

Doughnuts that you can get at anytime of day or night… magic to your ears right? This place comes in clutch after a late night of drinking. Bar closes, youre craving something bad, dont feel like going to shari’s or dennys… DOUGHNUTS !!!! This place kind of specailizes in their blueberry cake doughnuts, which are very good considering im not the biggest cake doughnut fan. They taste like blueberry pancakes. Reasons why im giving them a three is because: 1) they only take cash… they have an ATM in house, however, its always down anytime ive ever gone in there, so getting a friend that has cash to spot me or running across the street to the nearest Atm sort of sucks considering the extra $3 charge to use the ATM just made a $1 doughnut into a $4 doughnut ( or $8.75 dozen into an $11.75 dozen) 2) same as the atm, the bathroom is always out of service , as i mentioned above, after a drunken mission to get doughnuts, one might have to expell once arrived, not at the jelly doughnut 3) ive only been here late night, so this only applies to that timeframe, but, selection is somewhat limited. I prefer risen doughnuts opposed to cake, most of their doughnuts seem to be cake. I love plain glazed, sugar, and straight up doughnut holes, but it seems like they never have them when my friends and i decide to stumble in… less maple cakes that noone orders and more plain risen glazed!!!!

Mr Good’s Donuts – Menu with Prices – 801 S Glendale Ave # 2, Glendale

The Great Glendale Donut Derby continues with Mr. Goods entering the fray. This unit is owned and donuted by a beautiful Chinese couple who know and appreciate that Donuts are an American phenomena. A phenomena that they obviously support with their experience and labors. i bought a dozen of mixed glazed and cake and they went quickly to the secret donut tasting society to which i belong. After tallying all the scores: we seem to unbelievably have a 3 way tie! So it’s Mr Good, Fresh Donuts and Yum Yum in a dead heat. Bear in mind that all 3 are down home, non-fussy doughnut emporiums: no added bacon or strawberry glaze. nothing fancy. These businesses make doughnuts for the masses: doughnuts that you would grab and take to work to make it seem that you are cool and willing to shell out some bucks for your fellow slaves to the Man. In a dream i thought: how did donuts happen? why am i even doing this donut derby? what would my parents say if they knew? Does God like Donuts? So as with most things that are bad for you: Doughnuts seem to have been invented by the Dutch. From Wiki: The Dutch Doughnut. Records show that the Dutch were making olykoeks, or “oil cakes,” as early as the mid 19th century. These early doughnuts were simply balls of cake fried in pork fat until golden brown. If i had to guess i would have thought that doughnuts were from Italy as in dough fried in oil as in Flippers which is Pizza dough fried in oil and dusted with cinnamon sugar. Ok. So we have a 3 way tie in our doughnut derby. Remember that this derby is limited to d shops currently producing in Glendale. More later. My friends are loving this derby btw in that they have become the beneficiaries of most of the dozen donuts. i do try a bit (seriously!) of each variety . there is no way i am eating a dozen doughnuts myself. My 600 lb Life much?? Besides i don’t think that Tom Ford makes size 6X.

Pilaski’s Donuts Menu with Prices 4201 W Green Oaks Blvd #400, Arlington

I love this donut shop but my kids love it even more. They have the best donut holes ever; not because it’s a donut hole, but because of the way they’re decorated. Sorry I don’t have any pics, but I believe there is a pic of these donut holes which are decorated to depict characters such as Elmo,Frogs, the movie “Frozen”, etc.. The service here is great and so is there coffee. That’s right, plain ol’ coffee, with cream & sugar of course!

Donut Palace – Menu with Prices – 1605 W Buckingham Rd, Garland

Nothing fancy but a great little donut shop with many choices of both savory and sweet items. I have tried their blueberry cake donut, chocolate cake donut, another donut that had fresh strawberries in the icing and some kind of bacon croissant thing and all were delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by how cheap they were a well. Definitely my go to donut shop ? P.S I wouldn’t get the cherry donut again just because it had so much food coloring to get that red and cherry flavor reminds me of medicine.

Mel-O-Cream Donuts – Menu with Prices – 525 E N Grand Ave E, Springfield

Okay, I’m sorry to write the bad review for this place. I came here due to the great reviews it got on yelp and I came here super excited about trying this place out – wow any doughnut shop that can top krisy kreme is pretty amazing in my book. Boy was I in for an immense disappointment. Okay, i loved the motif they had going and i really loved the Mel-o-cream t-shirts the staff was wearing. i woulda bought one if i saw that they had em on sale. Anyways……When I walked in the staff was pretty surly. i thought this was surprising considering that Springfielders are usually a really nice and friendly bunch. So I decided to order my doughnuts: I went for an original mel-o-cream. I avoided the cake doughnuts even those are my absolute fave due to another yelpers review, and I got a sugar twist. oh yeah! and a milk to wash the goodness down. I eagerly got back to my ride, ripped open the bag and chomped into the mel-o-cream….and ugh. It was awful. It was old and the icing was all soggy and wet. So i finished that off since i didnt want to throw it out and moved onto my sugar twist. it was a tough doughnut that was dry with little flavor besides its dusting of sugar. I’ve honestly had better doughnuts anywhere else – even those krisy kremes that are delivered to the store and start getting stale were better than these beauties I bought today. *sigh*

Angel’s Donuts And Ice Cream – Menu with Prices – 212 NE 164th Ave #005, Vancouver

Angel’s is practically guaranteed of being rated as heavenly on Yelp because ____________ . A. Holy DOUGHNUTS B. Divine ICE CREAM C. Saintly SERVICE D. All of the above Angel’s tastes like 4 stars, but feels like 5 … and since I love to eat delicious decadent feelings for dessert, well, then Angel’s Donuts and Ice Cream is rounded-up to a full five stars. Here’s why: The doughnuts are classic donut shop offerings including raised & glazed or old-fashioned & cake. You’ll be asked to pick ones to buy which is tough … since my answer to the mix of frosted, sprinkled, and chocolate-y doughnuts is: yes or hell yes. I tried a Bacon Bites Bar which was bacontastic with coffee undertones, a colorful Blueberry Old-fashioned, a cool Coconut Round, and cooler Chocolate Twist. All of them were almost too sweet so consider getting coffee to balance out the sugar rush. Oh, ya … there were gluten free options in a case, but I’ll never be able to tell you what they taste like … never, I said! As for the dreamy ice cream, it’s Umpqua’s from Oregon with about 20 flavors to sample and love. The free samples were served by the friendliest doughnut store employee I’ve ever met. Whatever she ends up doing in live after this part-time job, she is going to be a star! Anyways, I tried two flavors and got two scoops: Bordeaux Cherry and Salted Caramel. Neither disappointed, but, honestly, how could it when, you know, it’s real freaking ice cream. Whether you love Angel’s for the donuts or the ice cream, it’s pretty F-ing hard not to love Angel’s.

Bigmouth Donut Hingetown – Menu with Prices – 1418 W 29th St, Cleveland

Bigmouth Donut is a local donut company in the Ohio City/Hingetown neighbourhood of Cleveland. I have walked by and driven through the area so many times and I always wondered when they were opened. Well, now I know that their hours are somewhat limited since they are not open in the evenings. Their hours are typical of bakeries. They are open from 7am – 2pm (Mon – Thurs.) and 7am – 5pm on Fridays. So if you work during the week between 8am – 6pm, your best bet is too arrive on a weekend (Sat./Sun.) when they are open from 8am – 5pm. DELICIOUS DONUTS — I visited on National Doughnut Day in June 2019. I bought the Lemon Raspberry donut which is a premium, yeast-risen donut. It was super fresh, soft, and of course sweet. I remember eating it so fast once I got to my apartment. The lemon raspberry donut was mouth watering good; I wanted to savour every bite. It wasn’t dry or tasteless like the churro I had La Plaza Supermarket. I know churros and donuts are different textures but the commonality is sweetness. The donuts here will be sweet so don’t worry (granted, I do need to visit Bigmouth Donuts again to try some other flavours). I don’t know how else to describe the flavour of the Lemon Raspberry donut so if you’re reading this, go visit Bigmouth Donut now! PRICE — The donut I bought cost $2.50 which is a typical price for a high quality donut (and NO, I’m not referring to Dunkin Donuts). The classic donuts here are $2 and the premium ones are $2.50. There are more flavour offerings for the premium donuts such as Almond Glazed, Blueberry Cream Cheese, and Pistachio among others. Classic donuts here include vanilla glazed, cinnamon sugar, etc. SEATING — I don’t remember seeing any seats inside but I just looked through pictures on google and saw some stools with a high table. You could buy a donut and bring it with you to Foyer Tea/coffee shop next door. Foyer is a big tea/coffee shop so there is lots of seating there. Sidenote – don’t come here when you’re hungry….haha. I arrived after taking a free spinning class at Harness Cycle next door and I was starving after my exercise session. Since I’m on a tight budget, I bought 1 donut but normally, I probably would have gotten 2. I love sweets especially a tasty donut. **** – 94 total reviews in 2019 – 303 total Yelp reviews – Reviewed on 20 July 2019
