Huge fan of Curry Pizza Company (#1) on Shaw. Discovered this one opened up a little closer to work so I had to give it a shot. My rating is not based upon the quality of food, but in the customer service, or lack thereof, that I received Sunday evening. Opted for the “curry-osity” special designed to give people a chance to explore the menu by choosing a half and half pizza, as well as 10 wings in which you pick two flavors as well. I ordered a half butter chicken/ half chicken tikka. In having entrusted the cashier with my order I opted for no receipt, which perhaps was my first mistake. Upon receiving my order, which came fast and hot, I decided to preview my pie while waiting on plates and sides of ranch and curry sauce (mix them together, it’s amazing for dipping sauce) only to discover my entire pie was butter chicken. So of course I’ve no receipt saying I ordered half and half, and there’s now no record of my order. â? Now in working in customer service and formerly in a pizzeria, the common route to take is to let the customer keep the mistake pie and give a new one, especially if they’re being polite and not pitching a fit on their mistaken order. I was offered to surrender my pie and wait for a new one, but why throw this one away? You can’t serve it to anyone else. I suggest I keep it and just make me like a small chicken tikka or equivalent to make up for the half. I’d already spent 38 and change on a pizza, some wings and a garlic bread, and waited 20+ minutes no problem. Now the guy at register (different guy this time-guy that took my order was nowhere to be found) rang me up and charged me for a small chicken tikka pizza. So I’m down another 14 and change and waiting on another pie. I’m not in it for the free food. But come on, you telling me this is how your shop is run? Over 50 bucks and displeased customers, on an “introductory special” to try and get people to try your food. I think I’ll stick to the one on Shaw. The workers are more polite, know what they’re doing, and actually pop the bubbles in the crust so you aren’t left with large portions of a pie with just bread. Not to mention better toppings to crust ratio. Maybe it’s just inexperience, i dunno.

Chicago’s Pizza With A Twist – Menu with Prices – 1885 S Virginia St, Reno

Do yourself a flavor (see what I did there) and check this place out! You wouldn’t expect Indian food and pizza to work together but Chicago’s pizza harmonizes it perfectly. My friends and I indulged in chicken tikka masala pizza, kebob pizza, butter chicken pasta, and gulab jamun. One of the main reasons I wanted to try this place was because of their butter chicken pasta. It was totally different from what I expected but I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was. The chicken tikka masala and kebob pizza were delicious. I’ve never had pizza with so many ingredients that worked so well together. None of the ingredients overpowered the other. Each bite was an explosion of flavor. Out of the two I liked the chicken tikka masala more but I would definitely order both again. My friend even said that it was the best pizza they ever had! Pizza has never been one of my favorites but getting to try their twists has definitely made me a fan. We ended it on a sweet note with gulab jamun which is one of my favorite desserts. They served it warm which made it even more decadent. The workers are very friendly and eager to help if you’re overwhelmed by the menu and confused on what to get. I can wait to come back to try other things on the menu!

TandoorZ Kabob and Grill – Menu with Prices – 1025 S Mason Rd Suite# 120, Katy

Hands down the best Chicken Tikka and Chicken Tikka Biryani in all of Houston. Discovered this place on Yelp while I was visiting family in Katy. My wife and sister decided to try it out for the halal Chicken Tikka Pizza which is very hard to find in Miami where we are from. First day, we had the Chicken tikka pizza, supreme meat pizza and Chicken Tikka Biryani. Each item was just perfect! Lots of meat and Biryani was not ur regular microved rice from before. You can tell that they make it fresh in the day. The Pizza crust was just right with lots of meat on it. The owner is a very nice gentleman originally from Karachi and he makes sure that everything is being taken care of properly even after they have served you the food. (This is very rare in Pakistani resturants that someone checks upon after serving) The simple and professional customer service and the delicious food, made us immediately decide that we need to take some Biryani for our road trip back home to Miami and that is.exactly what we did after a few days. The owner made sure it was properly packed for us. Next night when we stopped over at a Hotel on our way to Miami, nothing was more joyable to enjoy Biryani after a 11 hr drive and another 7 hrs to go the next day! If you dont like the hustle bustle of main Houston and want to stay away from the traffic and potholes lol, go visit this place!!! Wont disappoint you ever !

Bombay Pizza House – Menu with Prices – 4922 Paseo Padre Pkwy, Fremont

After my first visit I am a fan! I’ve had this place bookmarked since I heard about their chicken tikka masala pizza so on our way back from down south we made it a priority to add this to our stops back up. Their pizzas take at least 20-25 mins so I recommend calling in ahead for takeout. The location itself is inside a plaza so there is free parking and they have a lot of space so you can come with large groups. There are plenty of sports posters and TVs lining the walls so I can imagine how fun of a place this would be during a sports game, especially since they have beer to serve. | WHAT WE GOT | + Tandoori Wings (5 piece order) – YUM! The wings were so flavorful and definitely have a spicy kick. They give 5 or 10 pieces but with everything else we ordered the 5 piece was enough. I only wish the wings were a tad bigger but they were tasty. + Large Half Chicken Tikka/Half Pepperoni Pizza – Can’t go wrong with their classic pepperoni with the pepperoni slices curling up once they go through the over. The chicken tikka also did not disappoint and I was surprised to see how well the crust held up to all the toppings because it is one heavy slice. The green onions and tomatoes are new toppings but worked well with the seasoned chicken and white sauce. + Garlic Sticks with Cheese – These are classic and were perfectly garlicky and covered with cheese in each bite. Overall, all items were SO GOOD. They were piping hot and flavored oh so well. Service here is also super friendly and accommodating to give us anything we would need and any additional condiments. Definitely coming back!

Manhattan Pizza – Menu with Prices – 1600 Ronald Dr, Raleigh

Friday, 10/04/19 was my first visit to Manhattan Pizza. When we were in the area before we noticed this pizza shop and said one day we need to stop here. So, we stopped by here for lunch. It was nice and clean with a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered a small half pepperoni and half extra cheese pizza. And needless to say we were not disappointed. The young lady that took our order was super nice and polite. After taking our order she washed her hands, and proceed to make our pizza. And it was great! Now that we tried their pizza, I want to go back and try their Stromboli.  This is a place that I would recommend you to stop in and give them a try, I think you will like it too.

Curry Pizza House – Fremont – Menu with Prices – 39070 Fremont Blvd, Fremont

Being a huge fan of pizza I see it as a duty to try as many different types and restaurants I can. However, I have often been left unsatisfied by Indian fusion pizzas (such as curry pizzas). I thought maybe they just aren’t for me, then came Curry Pizza House a buck to the trend. It is not only the best curry pizza I’ve had, but it is also among some of the best pizza I’ve had overall. I’ve been quite a few times and the staff is usually quick to take your order. However, they aren’t very quick to clean the tables after guests leave. Once you order, expect a reasonable 15-minute wait for your food. My personal favorite is the Chilli Paneer pizza, it has a great balance of spice, paneer, and veggies. The fresh cilantro really ads depth to the flavor of the pizza. I’ve also had the Shahi Paneer, Palak Paneer, and Achari Gobhi. However, none are as good as the Chili Paneer, though they are worth a try. The prices are decent, considering you get a whole heap of toppings, a large pizza will feed about 3 people. Overall, Curry Pizza House is a standout restaurant among both Indian cuisine and pizza. It is a must try for everyone, I would definitely recommend you try it.

Papa Joe’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 10555 Indiana Ave, Riverside

This is the first time I’veâ?? ordered from this pizza place and I’mâ?? a FOREVER customer now. I was shopping around for pizza prices becauseâ??â??e I’mâ?? so tired of spending 25+ dollars on mediocre pizza and feeling ripped off. â?? When first calling the manager was very nice and polite, the pizza arrived and the deliveryâ?? man was so nice and polite as well and to my surprise handed me a little bag of cheese and peppers which most large corporationsâ?? don’tâ?? give out anymore â??.They’reâ?? charging for them which is ridiculous to me especially after spending almost $30 for crappy pizza. The pizza boxes were really fancy and the pizza was AMAZING. After gobbling down 2 pieces, i had to call the manager again and let him know how impressed i was and thanked him for such a great expierence. i will no longer over spend with these large chains again! Thank you Papa Joes for feeding our family tonight!

Streets of New York – Menu with Prices – 16838 N 7th St, Phoenix

Look I’m not one to just want to leave a bad review but this is well deserving because of owners don’t pay attention to what their employees are doing and think they they are above the patrons that they work so hard to build over the years then there’s definitely something wrong there.. My son and I just finished a workout and decided we were in the mood to grab some wings to go, from the get go I walked you can get a feel of low negative energy as if saying “I had a long day I don’t need your shit right now just order & leave”. I moved forward politely to order 24 wings and a tall drink about $33 no problem there I’m good with that it’s my choice, I sat down & my son said they’re bread looks good and if they are complimentary I didn’t know so I asked her (Britney is her name supposedly she’s the manager for 13 years) nicely if they were and she replied yes if you’re dining in ok but I just spent $33 for wings and mind you sat down and waited 25 minutes!! What’s the difference again?? HMMM you think there’s common sense here?? Let me be courteous to this customer who son was craving bread and is sitting waiting on his food!! Honestly!! Think!! Then I stood asked for refill the staff which doesn’t surprise me is dry as a prune because when you have a manager like this how you think they’re going to act it all goes down the chain.. her energy is just horrible I’m sorry but if you can’t see it just HOW burned you are Britney WAKE UP that’s what its called when people act like this.. Now as I’m sitting there waiting a customer walks in to pick up his pizza and hands them $100 bills I understand it’s company policy they don’t take big bills but the food has been made and the pizza is there you think that common sense again Britney would tell you this is a customer! Oh let’s see maybe suggest to the customer politely perhaps see if a neighboring shop may change that for you sir because we do not carry change for big bills, common sense and courtesy 101 Britney.. Don’t be upset just make some attitude changes is all.. Customer is ALWAYS RIGHT ever hear that?! Britney imagine the difference the customer would’ve felt.. Instead the staff ganged up on the poor guy and chased him out literally.. the guy was like “so you’re refusing my money and not going to give me my pizza! BRITNEY SERIOUSLY YOU TOLD HIM “YES I REFUSE TO GIVE YOU THE PIZZA!! OWNER IF YOU’RE READING THIS WHICH I HOPE YOU DO FOR YOUR SAKE UNLESS YOU’RE MAKING SO MUCH MONEY CUSTOMERS JUST DON’T MATTER! If it doesn’t matter then ignore this and best of luck. You won’t see me there anymore and you probably don’t care as Britney said. She seems to have a lot pull I’ll tell you that much. BIG BALLS 13 years she says maybe she’s the owner. Britney’s EXACT WORDS were I DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR REVIEW! News flash it’s not for you its for the potential customers.. Imagine me taking valuable time to write this.. Why!? Hmmm.. Judging by your attitude you’re oblivious to your actions. Good luck with that.

Sabatinos Pizza Deli & Grocery – Menu with Prices – 1000 S Geddes St, Syracuse

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE: I ordered a pizza through door dash in my order details I specified half Hawaiian half cheese and it arrived in a timely manner but these people at the pizza shop put ham on one half of the pizza and pineapple on the other side. Like can you not read do you not have common sense. We immediately called the restaurant and three hours later nothing! I’m pissed. Wish I could give it negative stars. Awful.

Mission Curry House – Menu with Prices – 2434 Mission St, San Francisco

4.5 STARS Me: “Hi, table for one please.” Host/server: “For one?” Me: “Yes.” Host/server: “Follow me…” Me: “So, I can’t decide between the Korma or Tikka Masala – which one do you recommend?” Host/server: “The Tikka Masala is the most popular…” Me: “Hmmm, ok…both sound good though, should I order both?” Host/server: “Uhhhhh…” Me: “You know for me and my invisible bf!” Host/server: ( o _ O ) I used to be terrified of dining solo but with age, I’ve grown to love it – I go on my own terms and I don’t have to share. None of that fake “No no, you go ahead and take the last piece” bullsh*t when inside you saying, “Bish, don’t you dare take that last piece!” The only thing that sucks is you’re limited in how much you can order. By the way, the host/server was very, very polite and I think was more concerned that two curries would be too much for one person. Formerly Lotus SF, Mission Curry House is serving North Indian and Himalayan/Nepalese cuisine (there’s one chef for each cuisine). Very vegetarian and vegan friendly. I took the server’s rec and ordered the Lamb Tikka Masala ($14.95) with a side of Naan ($2). While waiting for my order, I received a complimentary basket of Papadum (Indian lentil cracker) with a trio of chutneys: tamarind, mint, and chili. All the chutneys had a great consistency and were bursting with flavor. I find that many Indian restaurants try to stretch out their chutneys so it can be watery and bland. Not here. After tasting the chutneys, I knew I was in for some good quality and flavorful eats! Shortly after, the Lamb Tikka Masala and Naan arrived on my table: https://bit.ly/2WSLm3X. The Lamb Tikka Masala was BOMB! The masala was aromatic, incredibly creamy, and richly spiced (not greasy or oily) – wonderfully savory with a touch of tangy sweetness. I requested it spicy and they delivered on the heat; it was a nice burn but I could still taste all the spices. The lamb tikka morsels were tender and there was a generous amount of it in the curry. The piping hot naan was the perfect accompaniment for sopping up all the tikka masala goodness. The surface was crisp with nicely charred blisters and the interior was deliciously chewy and stretchy. I don’t think I’ve had naan quite like this before; I was lovin’ the stretchy texture. Hands down, it’s one of the best Tikka Masala and Naan I’ve had in SF (after Cuisine of Nepal which makes an amazing Kukhurako Ledo, a cashew curry similar to tikka masala)! I didn’t want to let any drop of masala go to waste and was scraping my plate clean like it was a famine. As I packed up my leftovers, the server asked about dessert. Why not? I ordered the Kulfi w/ pistachios ($3.95): https://bit.ly/2Y1Njr8. It was very dense and hard to cut but it didn’t stop me from killing the entire plate of it. The kulfi had a fantastic, rich milky flavor….really good. I think they use condensed milk for the kulfi but it’s not too sweet which I appreciated. Since the texture is naturally hard, I think a popsicle version would make it easier to enjoy. I ended up giving my leftovers away, then regretted it so I came back to Mission Curry House the next day. This time with a co-worker so we could tackle more of the menu. We ordered the Mission Thali for Two ($49.95) which is a set menu, not a metal platter with a little bit of everything: * Samosa * Chicken Tikka Masala (requested dark meat) * Saag Paneer * Tandoori Chicken + Lamb Kebab * Basmati Rice * Naan * Kulfi (comes w/ Kheer but I asked to sub for the kulfi) We requested everything spicy and once again, the food was delicious and well-spiced! My cheeks turned red and my lips were on fiyah but that’s how I like it. The standout from the Thali was the Tandoori Chicken (leg quarter)…it was j

Ashiana Indian Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 10960 S Eastern Ave #107, Henderson

+ LOCATION/PARKING: Ashiana North Indian Cuisine is located on Eastern Avenue just north of the entrance to near Anthem. Located in the Shell gas station plaza sharing the same parking lot with Smile Shop Dental, Sugar Cookie, Zen Coffee Bar, Osaka, etc. This is a mom & pop store kinda hidden in a mall where there has been a lot of different businesses and it is not very visible from the street, but i hope they will get business from word of mouth, they deserve it. + SETTING/AMBIENCE [5/5]: The first thing I noticed when I walked in the door was the homey atmosphere and genuine care from everyone. The decor is very welcoming and the people so pleasant! + SERVICE [5/5]: I came into the restaurant during the weekday. With a staff of one… He was attentive and made sure we had a pleasurable experience. Our waitress was quick with suggestions and helped us navigate the ample menu. + DRINK(s)//FOOD(s) [5/5]: Ashiana’s flavorful food has already attracted a local following. Most people who are used to Indian food often are reminded of South Indian curries spicy… However, North Indian curry has more masala in it. And it has a base of onion, garlic and ginger that is stronger! That’s something to consider when ordering anything. The ownership group is mostly from the Punjab province, and the focus on traditional, homestyle dishes from their native region. I personally ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala. This rich and creamy flavor some Chicken tikka rivals any Indian restaurant! With aromatic golden chicken pieces swimming in an incredible curry sauce, this Chicken Tikka Masala recipe is one of the best you will try! + OVERALL [5/5]: I would come back over and over again…

Mona Lisa Pasta Inc – Menu with Prices – 921 Preston Ave, Charlottesville

I recently moved to Charlottesville and my family and I found this little gem by accident. Omg where do I start? The staff (owners?) are very friendly and happy to give recommendations. We hung out and got a large pizza (plenty for three people) half sausage and onion and half pear Gorgonzola. Both were great but the pear Gorgonzola was the definite winner. Even my dad (who wasn’t too sure about pears on pizza) loved it! When you look in the back you can see the fire that they cook the pizzas over. They have a fun selection of wines to browse through, although you can’t drink any of them on the premises We bought a loaf of sourdough bread and their frozen chicken Parmesan to take home for another meal. The bread was amazing and the chicken parm was soooo good! I would recommend baking it about 5 minutes longer than the instruction, but all in all, very simple and tasty dinner. I wish they could get a larger location and maybe do wine tasting…food for thought you guys!

International Fare – Menu with Prices – 9013 112 St NW, Edmonton

I came to International Fare (Thai food) in Hub Mall last week while on a training course for work. I was impressed at the variety and selection. They offer lunch combos starting at about $8. I opted for a Medium size including 2 choices over rice or noodles. The green chicken curry was EXCELLENT. The massamun curry had too many potatoes that had broken down and just felt super thick/pasty – so I wouldn’t order that one again. You can upcharge to coconut rice for an extra $1 as well. Two of my coworkers also had a meal here and enjoyed their food. There was a hair in one of the boxes of food but it’s hard to say when/how it happened. Maybe even while we were eating? Regardless, I’d come back here I a heartbeat for the green curry chicken! Curry on!
