I never knew this place existed until my husband needed to drop off his work truck at Sanderson Ford. This little hidden gem is in the parking lot of the service department. This review is based solely on beverages, customer service and cleanliness. So my son and I thought we would just wait in our vehicle for my husband but it was a hot October afternoon. Yep a hot October afternoon. Too hot to sit outside and wait. We went inside this cute little diner for something cool to drink. A Coke for me, my son a chocolate shake. The lady at the counter was extremely nice and pleasant. She filled my drink. The cook made the shake. They use Thrifty Ice Cream. How cool is that? I can’t wait to go back and try the food. They have daily breakfast and lunch specials for $4.99. And when the weather is a little more agreeable they have ramada covered tables outside. Everything about this experience was pleasant. The diner was clean and reminded me ofmy favorite New Jersey diner.

Local Diner – Irving – Menu with Prices – 8305 N Belt Line Rd, Irving

Came for breakfast in the morning before going to Las Colinas and then the airport home after a friend’s party in Dallas. It was the perfect way to start to day. The coffee was great, service was great, food was great (ate way too much), and was in-and-out relatively quickly but not too fast, at a good pace. This is a traditional diner with lots of options, but felt like pancakes and a peanut butter shake (they had about 10 options to choose with regular and large sizes, the regular was fine just to have something sweet before we finished breakfast). The diner was relatively small with a place to sit at a bar sitting area, and kept it moving.

Clark Street Grill Menu with Prices 2711 Richmond Hwy, Arlington

This diner have lots of food to choose from. It also serve breakfast. My husband and I ate here for lunch and the food was good. I had a philly cheese steak sub and my husband had a bacon cheese burger. We had the lunch special which came with fries and a drink. The Philly cheese steak meat was tender, but they didn’t season it. It’s salt and pepper on the table. I requested mustard and mayonnaise on mine with well cooked mushroom and light grilled onions. My husband had a well cooked burger with cheese, bacon, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, onions, tomatoes and lettuce. He said his burger was delicious Pro: Clean diner, fast pace, friendly employees, great food, adult beverages and many snacks and choices of entrees for you and your family. Con: I had to wash my hands since I forgot to bring my hand sanitizer. The restaurant only have one bathroom stall for women and the door doesn’t lock. I’m glad that I don’t use public toilets or I would’ve been upset. If I had to do it all over again, I would order a vanilla shake, a cheese burger and fries. If we’re in town and on this end, we may come back. Great place solo or with family and friends.

One Clearlake Centre – Menu with Prices – 250 S Australian Ave #105, West Palm Beach

The company I work for moved into the One Clearlake Bldg in October. Le Gourmet Cafe is in the building on the first floor. The food – breakfast and lunch – is always good and decently priced. The staff is fantastic, always pleasant, greets you by name, and remembers your preferences. Alex left for a bit, but is back now, which was a wise move on however it ended up that he’s back. He creates great food, is on par with seasonings, and is incredibly efficient in the Cafe. I love that they offer daily specials, typically a few hot meals, but also always have healthy options. They will make you nearly anything you ask, and will customize as you’d like. Keep it up!!!!

cold stone creamery – Menu with Prices – 1877 E Williams Field Rd Suite 105, Gilbert

We rarely come out to get ice cream because I have kids that have but allergies. We sometimes go to Baskin Robbins and the owner never had a problem to make sure the ice cream is safe as it could be for the kids to eat it. To my surprise the girl at Cold Stone did give me a warning when I was making sure the ice cream was nut free. She went out of her way to mix the ice cream somewhere in the back to make it. I guess there was a misunderstanding and I thought she communicated to her partner that there was a nut allergy. He made a shake and handed it to my son and she made a shake as well. When she came from the back to give us the shake I said her partner already made my son one. It was evident that she was flustered and left us the second shake. I apologize for the miscommunication it is a little noisy with the freezers and radio and didnâ??t understand what was going on. What I would like you to know is that we rarely go out to get ice cream. We are not familiar with cold stone procedures or menus but I am still appreciative of your efforts to make sure my children were as safe as much as they could be. Iâ??m sorry if you might have to deal with rude people in the world but I say Thank you .

The Downtown Cafe – Menu with Prices – 3712 Washington Ave #2727, Newport News

The food was really good, with a diner menu. Like most diners the breakfast menu stands out with some great items. The staff was friendly, and service good. The prices are very reasonable, with a lunch coding under $10, including a drink. One of the owners was there when we were, and was pleasant and accessable. The only downside was that we were there on a rainy day, and the was somewhat of a musty odor coming from a back room that would benefit from a dehumidifier. I don’t expect this to be a regular issue though.

CLT Nutrition – Menu with Prices – 3917 South Blvd, Charlotte

I decided to try this place because the Instagram photos make all their shakes look super delicious. I’m going to start with a disclaimer: I do not drink protein shakes regularly. So I went with the intentions to see if I would be into this or not. You walk in and you fill out a paper with what drink you want, what booster you want in your tea, and the flavor of your tea. All shakes come with a tea. The idea is, your shake is the “meal” and the tea is the drink you’d get with it. I agree with another review that it is difficult to get through both before one of them melting or the ice melting. I got the Carmel cappuccino and it was pretty tasty. The first third of it was good and then the protein flavor started to roll in. If you are expecting a milkshake then you will be disappointed. The shake is good, but again, it’s a protein shake so be prepared for that. The tea was great! I would go in there for the tea more than the shake! I got peach with cranberry aloe. I went on a lunch break one day to try it out. Honestly it didn’t satisfy me as a replacement, but again, this is coming from someone who didn’t work out before I went and don’t normally drink protein shakes. If I worked out and then got one I bet it would be great and satisfying! For the price, I probably won’t go back since now I realize protein shakes aren’t my jam. It was ~$11 (I can’t remember if I got an extra booster in my tea or not). But the shake is $9 for a small and adding extra boosters can cost you more, so you could potentially pay $12+ for a shake and tea if you get fancy with it. I still think they deserve to be checked out if you like protein shakes or want to do what I did and see if you like them because the employees were friendly and the quality of the protein shake was good.

Morning Glory Diner – Menu with Prices – 2609 Cherokee St, St. Louis

The Southwest Diner sets, to my tastebuds at least, the bar for diner breakfast perfection in this town. My absolute favorite morning meal is their New Mexican breakfast burrito served enchilada style, stuffed with bacon. They have great service, coffee, and boozey breakfast drinks. That said, Morning Glory Diner is going into heavy rotation. The Fried Chicken and Johnny Cakes I ate this morning are still bringing a smile to my face. The chicken was battered and spiced perfectly, and the corn meal cakes, served with butter and maple syrup were delicious. I had a bit of my dining companion’s hash browns, and bacon too- she loved her scrambled eggs. The potatoes were really good, but the bacon was just so-so. If I were King of Missouri, one of my first decrees would be that all restaurants had to serve Wenneman Meat Co. bacon, which is what SWD serves. I did not sample the much raved about house-made breakfast sausage, or biscuits and gravy; an omission I plan on rectifying very soon, and I’ll update this review when I do. The coffee was fine, the portions were ample, while very modestly priced, and the service was excellent. A staffer told me they were in the process of getting a liquor license, so no bloodies or brefast brews yet. I did note that lunch is available after 11 am, and that the usual suspects are the fare on offer. I’ll give their burger a shot one day. The decor was pleasant, and there was a classic Rock-Ola juke box kicking out the classic rock jams at a just right volume. Kudos, to the owners and staff of Morning Glory Diner for bringing a kick ass diner option to South City.

Eastside Diner – Menu with Prices – 7246 55th Ave E, Bradenton

We’ve been coming to Eastside Diner for about eight months since moving to the area because of its convenience to our home, which has been our motivating factor for choosing to eat there. Sadly, the service in the past four months or so has deteriorated to the point that we’d rather drive farther from home to grab a quick meal. We’ve eaten there at least 50 times this year, and every time we go it’s as though they’ve never seen us before. We are rarely greeted with a “Hello” and never once have they said “Hey, good to see you again”. They’re like robots that only know how to seat people and take orders. The servers have absolutely no personality or even show a desire to make your experience pleasant. They don’t introduce themselves or greet you when they approach the table, and just ask you what you want to drink and walk away. We’ve had repeatedly bad service from Kiannah, who is as cold as ice. We’ve never received a smile or greeting or “thank you” in at least a dozen visits where she was our server. On our last visit we felt as if we were imposing on her time by coming in to eat and that she’d rather be doing anything else but serving customers. I honestly can’t even comprehend how they earn enough tips to survive with that attitude. I mean, Cracker Barrel has friendlier wait staff for crying out loud. This is the farthest thing from what I would consider a traditional diner, since I thought neighborhood diners were supposed to be friendly and make you feel welcome (and want to return). For the food, it’s average depending on what you order. Breakfast is probably the better of your choices, and the sandwiches aren’t bad. Stay away from the soups, entrees and gyro platters unless you like institutional-tasting canned food. And if you’ve come to this diner looking for a yummy piece of pie or cake, you’re out of luck! What decent diner doesn’t serve pie??? I sincerely hope the owner will take heed and either train the wait staff to be friendly and hospitable or hire new people that truly want to be there and provide a service (which I realize is almost impossible to do around here, but it IS a service industry). I honestly don’t know how they’ve remained open other than the fact that there are such few dining options (other than fast food) in the immediate area. Despite the convenient location for us, we’ll drive a little farther from now on to get better service and food.

Top cold grill ice cream – Menu with Prices – 2855 Medical Center Pkwy, Murfreesboro

Stopped in with the family on a Sunday afternoon. The presentation of the ice cream is cool ( no pun intended) since it comes in 4 rolls. I had the zen, which for me was awful, but that’s what I get for ordering something I couldn’t pronounce. The kids got just plain chocolate and vanilla, it was good ice cream. They skimp a little when adding toppings but it was all good. The wife got the java and it was good ice cream if you like cold coffee. The concept is cool as well as the presentation, but I prefer a big choice of ice cream and l like creamy ice cream with toppings that satisfies. The place is tiny and doesn’t have a lot of places to sit. So don’t go with a lot of people

Blind Dog Tavern – Menu with Prices – 50 N Sierra St Suite 102 1A, Reno

Blind Dog Tavern was one of the most pleasant locations to visit during the “Reno Whiskey Hunt.” The Place: The bar was a little hard to find, it’s inside a building center. Their interior was a lounge/bar with big windows facing the sidewalk. They have a pool table and other games. They have seating by the bar, some long tables, and a long countertop in front of the window. The bar area is cool, and they have a great selection of spirits. The Drinks: Their menu has daily specials. On Sundays, they have Happy Hour all day! How cool is that? So we began with the whiskey specials. We had a neat shot of “Eagle Rare,” then the bartender, T is his name, he made us a special cocktail. For the cocktail, he burned wood chips and smoked our glasses. Then he used the cocktail was called the “Boulevardie” or something similar. The cocktail had the Eagle rare, vermouth and other ingredients. When he finished mixing, he put a nice ice cube on the glass. My husband and I really liked our cocktail. We read the menu, and my husband asked for a “Toreador,” a drink made with tequila. I asked the bartender if he made “Pisco Sours.” He smiled and showed me their Pisco bottles. He mixed the drinks and brought it to us. My pisco was amazing! Husband’s drink was really good too. The Service: We had a great experience! T took good care of us. He got us our drinks fast. He made sure we had water and talked to us. I will be coming back to this place! They have a talented and creative mixologist!

Our Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 813 W 36th St, Minneapolis

I am a no frills breakfast type of girl – always ordered the all star at Waffle House, always want bacon / sausage, eggs, hash browns and toast, and an orange juice. I get the same thing at most brunch places I go to! Our kitchen is a small diner that understands the importance of doing the staple breakfast foods justice. Our kitchen is a small diner with a kitchen big enough for only two people and a few servers tops. Because of this, service can take a bit longer than other breakfast places, but they make up for the wait with food portions and a genuine and warm personality. I had the breakfast special and was STUFFED but thought everything was cooked very well. You have to add your own salt and pepper to taste but I loved the hash browns and sausage. One piece of advice, if you don’t want to be sweating and smelling like food, don’t sit at the bar by the grills! Didn’t think about it and my boyfriend was sweating after ten minutes. If you want a good and hearty breakfast after a night out, this is the place to go! There’s some outside seating but it wouldn’t be great for big groups!

Joe’s Diner by the Airport – Menu with Prices – 2895 Fred Nash Blvd, Myrtle Beach

I decided to try Joe’s Diner since I had never been there. The gravel parking lot was full and every table was occupied, so I sat at the counter. It had that old time diner look and feel. The server was very friendly. They have a full breakfast buffet that looked good, but I was interested in lunch. The lunch menu was a typical southern meat & sides. There was a large variety of both on the menu. The server mentioned that the menu changes daily. I ordered coffee, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, greens, and beets. Everything was delicious and plentiful. It was a very satisfying experience. Joe’s is off the beaten path, but I will definitely return.
