We got 4 different items from the menu and they were all delicious. The girl who works here is very young but she seems to have a lot of experience. She was really friendly and nice with the kids, which is a plus. Seems like This Food Stand is a newly established cause it is really clean. I think this place is a little bit too fancy for where it is located and that’s why it is a little bit expensive but it is worth the price!!!!

Miches De La Baja – Menu with Prices – 1151 W Carson St, Torrance

My friend and I came here from Palm Springs, definitely not worth the wait. We first entered and we were greeted by a employee cleaning the dining area, which was nice. But the woman cashier was just HORRIBLE! She had 0 people skills. I never got her name, but it was the girl with the sleeves. Nothing wrong with tattoos (just describing her). I mean who works at a seafood restaurant and HATES shrimp? When that’s what they mainly serve. The restaurant was clean, but the food was mediocre, I could make better shrimp cocktail. You had to doctor it up by adding ketchup and salt and the works. I will say, we had the shrimp quesadilla and that was FIRE. Soooo good, so if you come here, try the shrimp quesadillas for sure! My friend wasn’t impressed with the whole restaurant either. Overall, I wouldn’t come here again. Not worth the drive or time.

Le Macaron French Pastries – Menu with Prices – 6901 22nd Ave N, St. Petersburg

Iâ??m surprised to see the bad reviews here. We went tonight and purchased a box of 8 macarons. They were delicious! The variety was fantastic for a week day and all of the desserts looked beautiful. They also serve gelato and fancy chocolates. The two ladies that helped us were informative about the flavors and patient with my young daughter who took forever to pick out 8 different macarons. The store is located in between Macyâ??s and the food court, so pretty easy to find. We were happy and we will go back again next time we need a special treat. The only reason I didnâ??t give them a full 5 stars is because they are pretty expensive. I realize that they have a â??French pastry chef,â? but we had a French pastry chef in Alaska too. She didnâ??t charge this much in price inflated, ingredients cost a fortune, frozen tundra Alaska. Sooooooo no excuse for these prices other than greed.

Cassave Restaurant Taqueria-Bar Menu with Prices 3290 Adeline St, Berkeley

Hey, I am always amused by the bad reviews on Yelp. “Someone came in and asked us for money, and she was over our food”, “I’m allergic to mushrooms”? I don’t suppose you told them you are allergic? I can’t take a review like that seriously. My Review: The pricing is strange. Somethings are cheap and some things are way too expensive. If you want to have a bar you need to hire a “real” bartender. Trying to teach servers how to bartend is a recipe for trouble. The food is delicious, but some items are “escalated”, Trying to make street food fancy can work, but you have to be careful how far you go. I really want this place to succeed, so I hope they work out their kinks. I will leave the owner with this thought: You can sell at a high price and have few customers, or a lower price and have lots of customers.

Natty Adams Menu with Prices 12 W Montgomery St, Baltimore

I bought a medium-fancy peak-lapel suit and two old-fashioned vests from Natty several years ago, and they are still the most impressive and comfortable items I own. The suit is a go-to for weddings, academic presentations, and haunted Christmas parties. The vests look nothing alike and each bring a unique jaunt to the ensemble. And I wear the suitcoat regularly with jeans; it really is an all-purpose mood-raiser. These items were not, in fact, overly expensive, given that off-the-rack suits are only a hair cheaper, fit less well, degrade more quickly, and can never match the custom swag contained between the covers of the Adams swatchbook. The fitting process itself is fascinating; who knew there were so many choices to make? Natty treats the almost never-seen linings of pockets with the same care and good humor that he treats lapels and waists and, well, everything. I cannot heartily enough recommend Natty for all of your high-quality clothing needs. (Actually, I can technically only recommend him for your high-quality suit needs, but I know his pocket square game is newly strong, and he probably sells other useful items.) Look him up!

Fork It Over Catering – Menu with Prices – 2400 Union Ave, Memphis

I love the concept of this place, not to mention the convenience. Fork it Over is located in the Cooper Young district, in a cute little house on Young Ave. They are essentially caterers, providing packaged meals that they will either deliver or you can pick up. Here’s how it works. You go online and see what their menu options are for the week. You can order just one meal or meals for everyday if you want. You choose your entrees and two side items to go with each of them. And the options are wonderful! For instance this week they are offering Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps with Broccoli Slaw, Stuffed Flank Pinwheels with Spinach & Feta and Tilapia with Smoked Paprika. Some of the sides are Sesame Broccoli Stir Fry, Parmesan Polenta and Peas with Mint Butter. Sounds delicious, doesn’t it? Meals are about $12.50 per person. Not bad for really good food, delivered right to you door.

Mama T Parenti’s Delicatessen – Menu with Prices – 1037 W Philadelphia St, Ontario

I’m not one to post reviews but I felt prompted to do so this time. The first thing I noticed as I walked in the small restaurant is it’s super clean like no other place I’ve ever seen and I can literally eat of the kitchen floor(A clean restaurant is a big deal for me) The place has a very simple and small menu which guarantees all food is fresh. I ordered a pastrami hot sandwich and it was very delicious and soft. The bread was toasted to perfection. Service was quick, no fancy computers just paper pencil. The elder couple that works there are very nice and friendly this place definitely has an old school service and old school vibes , i will be back for the long term.

Escape Lounge SMF Terminal B – Menu with Prices – 6900 Airport Blvd Terminal A, Sacramento

This is a review for the Escape in SMF Terminal A, Airside. Finally a lounge at this airport where you can work and escape the noise of the airport. Pros Clean, New, WiFi (but why do you want my email!), but best of all it’s quiet and away from the incessant announcements at the airport. Good working table for stand or sit working. If you drink alcohol then there is plenty included in your entry fee. If you want light snacks there are some. On a good day (but not my day) there is a swiss coffee machine making premium drinks. Large collection of soda pop. Very friendly staff. Cons Not sure it was the day of my visit but they seem short handed and need one more staff on duty. That said – those there were friendly and helpful. I suggest they introduce a greater diversity of snacks – vegetarian choices were poor and presumed you wanted fish or green salad. There was no fruit, nuts or potato chips (most lounges go crazy with stuff like that to fill out the buffet with cheap stuff). The only snack item that was not “lunch” was cookies. At the time of my lunchtime visit there was no bread left. Food generally looked like it had sat around a long time. Restrooms being outside the lounge is a shame but its a small place and they are space constrained so I guess it figures. The “premium” experience is spoiled by the lounge exit for the basics though. On my day of visit the fancy swiss coffee machine refused to make decaf or all of its non-coffee drinks. So I also had to leave the lounge and buy coffee at Peet’s. Bummer – decaf espresso and a banana was all I wanted and they had neither! Based on the comments from others this coffee machine needs attention and the staff trained on it! Fundamentally if you regularly use airport paid or premium lounges, you’ll find this one lacking. But not because of the staff – what there was of them was great – they need more of them – frankly more of just about everything – to be worth the door price. Summary Expensive if you pay the door price. The half price Groupon made it OK – it worked out to $6 an hour for me. If you would drink a couple of Peet’s-like drinks (and the machine works) or wine or beers while waiting at the airport then you could get money’s worth. Getting a soup and salad lunch was a bonus – but would have loved some bread. If I was stuck at SMF for more than four hours I … probably … would buy the groupon and use this lounge. Less than that, or if I was feeling slightly frugal, I might just use a restaurant in airside to work and snack and spend less.

Hibachi Express Lakeland – Menu with Prices – 5351 N Socrum Loop Rd, Lakeland

Hibachi Express is something we tried after going to Fancy Q’s religiously. For that, maybe I’m a bit biased and expecting more than what I got. Hibachi Express, as a quick lunch, is great. You get quite a bit of food for fairly cheap. I would, however, choose somewhere else for dinner. At Fancy Q’s you get 3 free appetizers before your meal while Hibachi Express charges everything separately, down to the noodles that come with Hibachi Meals. It makes full meals very expensive, very fast. Past lunch, I’m all Fancy Q’s. I will say, on their own, Hibachi Express is great. The food is good, the establishment is visibly clean and the staff is not overly friendly or intrusive. The only issue: the cups and the soda machine. It could’ve been my luck, but while we were there all of the cups had holes in them. The soda was flat in every machine, leaving water as the only option to drink. Other than that, great place for a quick lunch.

Walmart Bakery – Menu with Prices – 408 Tiny Town Rd, Clarksville

Let me just say after the worst most humiliating experience at another Walmart in town the ladies here where gracious enough to accept my return even though the items where from a super store and not carried there. They where super nice and friendly and very apologetic about my unfortunate experience at another Walmart. The young lady where I took my return was so sweet and kind and not even irritated about having to take back a few dishes. I will be purchasing my food items here from now on with friendly staff. Thank you ladies for not making me drive so far to do what the previous Walmart failed at and tried to redeem the Walmart vibe. I am not a huge fan of having to go to Walmart super centers but they carry items I collect in my kitchen. I will just head over to the kind folks at the KY for those items ? Thanks ladies again!

Yafa Mediterranean Grill Menu with Prices 4004 Little Rd Ste 112, Arlington

I was in the Fort Worth area for business recently for a few days. I like to try smaller local non-chain restaurants when I travel, and I am a pescatarian, which works better with some cuisines. Yafa Mediterranean Grill seemed like a good option.I ordered a small taboili and 6 pieces of falafel for a take out dinner. The food was ready when I arrived, and the person who helped me didn’t charge for the tzatziki and pita bread I requested and even threw in some tahini. Everything tasted fresh and the prices were good (which didn’t matter that much since I was on expense account). The restaurant was small and not fancy, but clean, and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend Yafa to other travelers and locals!

The Gavel Cafe Menu with Prices 75 Ted Turner Dr SW, Atlanta

There are some good things about the Gavel Cafe, for instance, the wraps are always good, and not too pricey, as long as you don’t add fries or anything to boost up the price. The young man who makes the wraps really good but for the most part everything is very overrated and pricey. I work in the building with the cafe. Be prepared to spend $8 to $12 for lunch. they used to have a lady who made the stuffed omelette she was really good but currently the young lady who works the breakfast is not very people-friendly and they keep changing Personnel for some reason. they have a good bit of turnover. Limited selection from grill, salad, soups, hot bar.

Nolan?s Restaurant 4117 south staples – Menu with Prices – 4117 S Staples St, Corpus Christi

I remember eating at Nolan’s as a young girl, many years ago. It was always such a joy to have those wonderful croutons and cheese served with your meal. I understand that you can still order them and pay extra for them however it was nice when they were to serve with the meal. The staff at the Parkdale location are very friendly. I’ve tried several menu items since that’s location opened. I’ve tried their Seafood combo with fish and shrimp oh, well I really like the shrimp sometimes the fish can have too fishy of a taste. The chicken-fried steak is good, however I would change up the fries. Perhaps steak fries would be a better choice for the price you’re paying. The sides are small again for the prices. It is nice to have a self-serve beverage counter. Would I recommend Nolan’s probably so however I think you could find other food in Corpus just as good if not better for the same price. Well I eat there again probably so.
