Awesome local restaraunt. Usually not very busy at all so walk-in orders aren’t slow. There’s a wide variety of options on the menu, my personal favorites being the burger, quesadilla and hot wings. They are also very affordable too compared to other similar places in town. The owning family is very very nice and sweet and provide excellent, home-like customer service! Definitely give this place a try. You can also call orders in ahead early to eliminate the wait!!

New York Gyro Menu with Prices 513 N 7th St, Allentown

This place is fantastic! We r here traveling from Ohio n I wanted something delicious to eat. I passed up soul food, Caribbean, and Dominican options just to try this place! The shop is clean, modern, and very lively. Carlos n his team work hard n fast to get orders made. Although he n his team were extremely busy…they weren’t too busy to be personable, allow u to try certain menu items, and talk n provide excellent customer service with a smile. They are connected on all platforms i.e. Food delivery services, social media, etc. So they are constantly making orders fresh n biz is definitely booming! If u r pressed for time I suggest u call ahead or order online. This place was definitely worth the wait. Whenever we r in town we will automatically look for NYG!!!

Aloha BBQ Grill – Menu with Prices – 9810 Indiana Ave # 800, Lubbock

First of all, we LOVE the food. The price is right and portions very large. HOWEVER, donâ??t waste time calling in an order ahead of time. I called in our order 30 minutes ahead of going to pick it up. After I paid, the very unfriendly woman put it at the END of the line of orders on the counter!!! I asked her why my order was placed at the end and I had called it in 30 minutes ago. She told me because all of the other people were ahead of me!! I waited another 30 minutes before my food was ready. I said, â??Just so I understand, it doesnâ??t help to call ahead?â? She said no. I was fuming, but will eat there again because the food is so delicious. I would suggest for them to put a message on their answering machine that they do not accept phone orders. Iâ??ve never had this happen with any other restaurant! Iâ??m sure they have had people call in orders and never pickup, but if they choose to do business like this, the customer needs to know their order will be placed at the end of the line when they pay, or accept payment over the phone. The lady at the front also needs some lessons on customer service. Itâ??s a good thing they have delicious food; they would have been out of business a long time ago.

Bundts On Melrose – Menu with Prices – 4147 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach

I absolutely love this bakery. I’ve been here several times and have always had great service. I’ve bought many boxes of Bundts as gifts and every time i give them they are loved and everyone wants to know where to get more; fortunately that information is on the box. Today On my way home from work i decided to stop and get Bundts for my brother and neighbor only problem was that i got off work at 615p and work in Costa Mesa. Traffic is always a issue. I was still on the freeway by 6:50p so i decided to call Bundts On Melrose and ask if they would wait for me because i could be there by 7:05ish. The gentleman that answered the phone said sure I’ll wait for you. I got to the bakery around 7:07 and he was there waiting for me. THATS WHAT I CALL EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Besides the fact that there Bundts are a crowd pleaser there service, attention to detail, and patience are a customer pleased. I will never buy mini Bundts from anywhere else. Thank you so much again.

Ray Ray’s Italian Beef & Sausage – Menu with Prices – 1715 Miller Rd, Kalamazoo

My family is from Chicagoland, so Italian Beef is a revered treat. My mom has a lake house in Kalamazoo, so I intended to pick up some beef sandwiches for a weekend party at her place. I called ahead to place my order so I wouldn’t have to wait – I was on my way into town and would arrive around 7:30pm (the posted hours indicated they close at 8pm). After I finished placing my order for 8 people (they were out of a few things that we wanted), the person on the phone changed his mind and told me that they were closing early (on a Friday night) because of the “heat wave”. Who closes early because of a heat wave? Don’t we have air conditioning in this day and age? The call taker was not polite and confirmed that he had spoken with the owner before deciding to close. I won’t give Ray Ray’s another chance. There is another place near the mall that has a good Italian beef sandwich and it’s managed properly and the staff isn’t rude to customers.

Grill N Chop – Menu with Prices – 2401 E Baseline Rd Suite 102, Gilbert

Alright, alright, so hear me out Yelp friends. The first time I came here the food took 15 minutes to come out, I was slightly irritated being I was on my lunch but, let me finish…it is because yes, they were busy but also because EVERY DISH IS MADE TO ORDER! I love that! Their food is super fresh and spot on from the three times I have came here. Upon my first visit, the super nice lady working the counter informed me (I didn’t complain BTW she voluntarily stated this) their food is literally cooked and made to order so it can take some time and to call in ahead of time for future references, note taken. Next time, I did call in ahead and my order was ready I when I got there. Chicken teriyaki bowl was amazing and they will give you extra sauce without taxing you for it. They serve white meat chicken and the prices are so affordable. Third time I just walked in, ordered and said I would wait in my car and be back in in 10-15 minutes to pick up my meal, this meal I asked for no rice and she said if I wanted to I could do the do the low-carb option for 99 cents more and do all veggies…twist my arm, score!!! Sooo good, Here’s the kicker, before I could make it inside she actually found me in the parking lot and delivered my excellent quality teriyaki chicken to my car ? Customer service gets 10 stars! Only future info I can provide on the negative side is the the cabbage was very white, like whiter than me if you could believe that so maybe ask for fresh and not so much cabbage with more broccoli if you opt for all veggies ? they are still a solid FIVE in my book though.

Pasteles Cristina – Menu with Prices – 130-09 95th Ave, Jamaica

I ordered 12 pork because my inlaws were coming in and knew they would appreciate eating these for Christmas. I was very confused when looking for the place because I assumed it was a restaurant. It’s not. But don’t let that scare you! The people were very friendly and nice and patient as I was one block ahead and then one block behind at 9 on a Wednesday morning. If I had known it was a home I wouldn’t have gone so early because some people like to sleep but again they were all absolutely kind and patient. The pasteles were $2.50 a piece. They came in a nice snap top bag with heating instructions in English and Spanish. Very simple just boil them for 40 minutes flipping them once halfway through cooking. My family and myself loved them. They were delicious, not greasy or fatty and very filling. I ate one and was getting full but ate a second because it was so tasty. We served them with hot sauce. I’m so pleased with my purchase and happy to know that this family makes them all year long. I will definitely order more all year long. I highly recommend if you are unable to make or find these that you call and place and order and pick them up from here because they’re excellent. Great experience.

Mercedes Flowers Menu with Prices 2125 Goodrich Studio Only, Suite B, Austin

Not typically one to review, but after years of remarkable service, this is way overdue. My wife has lived in Austin for 25 years, orders flowers for clients and friends regularly, has likely used every, or almost every, local florist in town and has arrived at the point where she ONLY uses Mercedes. So it follows that that is how I found ’em :). I’m not a flower guy. Like them. Just don’t get the big deal. That said, I can absolutely tell the difference in quality and presentation when comparing arrangements from Mercedes to those from other shops. You pay a bit more, but the value added substantially outweighs the incremental cost. Worth noting, too: multiple instances of some of the best customer I’ve ever experienced. More than once, when I’ve had a special request or short notice order, the owner has made it happen and then followed through with a phone call/text to give me an update or let me know that the job was complete. And I know that it’s entering the mainstream after Amazon began doing it with their package delivery, but I think Mercedes Flowers was one of the first small businesses to take a picture of the delivered arrangement and email/text it to you right as it arrived. Peace of mind knowing that/when it got there and exactly what it looks like. This business was ahead of the curve and it goes to demonstrate where the owner’s head is at when it comes to customer service. All in all, Mercedes Flowers sets the bar when it comes to a well-run, customer-centric family business. Keep it up, y’all, and thanks.

Bobo Seafood Market – Menu with Prices – 2800 Montgomery St, Savannah

If you want seafood in Savannah, go to BoBos. This is our go to spot when the family comes down. Our first trip here we picked up 3 clusters of crab legs and a small sized low country boil and payed around $30 bucks! Swear it’s the cheapest and the BEST crab legs you will find in Savannah. I feel like I’m robbed going anywhere else, and how could you not? You’re going to PAY LESS and eat so much better going here. Each time the family comes into town we go here and pick up the works. This past weekend we ordered 15 clusters of crab legs (roughly 1.5 lb per cluster) and a medium sized low country boil (sausage, shrimp, blue crab, corn, potatoes) and the total was $180. SERIOUSLY. I couldn’t make this up. Fed the whole family (11 people) and I had lunch for 2 days lol. TIPS: get your seasons and hot sauce on the side. Often when they put it in its too over powering and takes away from the good natural flavor. It’s still cooked in a good bit of seasons so I promise you’re not missing out. CALL AHEAD AND ORDER. Call and tell them what you want and how long until you’re there. This place is super busy but the will accommodate for you perfectly. I called 6 hours ahead on my big order for the family and told them 6:30. At 6:30 I walked in, paid, and walked out happy. So definitely call ahead. It’s not in the best part of town but honestly don’t even worry about it. Everyone there is after the same thing, BoBos delicious seafood. I promise it is worth it to come down off the main streets of Savannah to pick it up and go have a picnic at Forsyth Park! It’s a perfect date!! BoBos all the way, best spot in Sav!

Once Upon A Grill Menu with Prices 1947, 3148 Packard St, Ann Arbor

I met up with a friend and as we were walking in, a group of 6 walked in front of us and as you can imagine, they did order a lot of food. We ordered the following items: – Butter Chicken – Mutton Curry – Fish Tandoori The owner told us it would take longer then usual and sure enough it took a while… we got there at 6:15pm and it took an hour before we got our food. Seemed like the owner was already backed up with few orders, on top of the orders for the group of 6 ahead of us. So what did I think of their food? – Butter Chicken – the dish has heavy butter taste, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying the dish. Pour the curry and chicken on top of the rice and if you like it spicy, order it spicy! The dish really only has two things – curry and pieces of chicken breast. – Mutton Curry – the lamb meat was moist, perfectly cooked and the bones felt off the meat without any issues. They give you a lot of meat in this dish. If you don’t eat lamb because of the smell, then don’t fear, this dish did not have any lamb meat smell. – Fish Tandoori – the name threw me off… expected to be tandoori dish based upon the name, but it was more like blackened fish with grilled veggies on bed of rice. Don’t get me wrong, the flavor department was super packed and the dish was delicious!! Seating is limited to counter top style along the walls, this is mainly a takeout joint. I would recommend you order ahead and take the food home. Looks like the owner is the only person running the joint, so expect some delays. I would highly recommend that you order ahead and pick it up. On the food aspect, the flavors were excellent, I had no complaint on the food itself… the only draw back was the long wait… yes I appreciated the owner saying it would take longer then usual, didn’t expect an hour wait for the food… but at the end, the wait was worth it… next time, I’ll call ahead and pick up the food and eat there. While the wait was too long, I’m giving 4 stars for the food experience. Also keep in mind, some of the items you order, they might not be able to fulfill… we wanted to order BBQ for 2 people and was told that was not feasible, just have backup order plans just in case.

Northern Fish Products Co – Menu with Prices – 3911 S 56th St, Tacoma

In the most unassuming location, this branch of Northern Fish is a great place to pick up fresh seafood. Fred H. really hit the nail on the head with his review. I will supplement his. The quality is very, very high at these shops. As a regular customer for over ten years at these locations, I have never a bad, or even mediocre, piece of fish. The prices are excellent and they run sales and specials all the time. It is worth signing up for their newsletters just for the sale alerts. Perfect example: fresh wild salmon steaks are on sale this week for $12.50 a pound…if you shop for fish, you know this is cheeeeeap! This is one of the only places in Tacoma where you can get sushi quality tuna. They sell the already blocked, frozen kind – which I prefer to work with when prepping for my big family. No bloodlines, no waste, neatly trimmed. No brainer. However, be safe and call ahead to check stock! Excellent shellfish, cod, etc. They also carry quite a bit in their frozen case. Last but not least, they have excellent smoked fish in a variety of flavors here. They will give you a sample if you ask. I’ve never had a smoked fish here I didn’t enjoy. At one point, they had a brown sugar smoked salmon I really liked…I don’t know if they still carry it. Fish lovers: shop here!

Chang’s Fish Market – Menu with Prices – 110 Johnson St, Fayetteville

THIS IS THE BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANT IN TOWN!!! My mom came here, I go here and now my children go here. I do not go to any other place to buy seafood as I am very particular when it comes to this. I use to in times past but I gave up after one bad experience. The only reason I would rarely stop somewhere else is because Chang’s is a ways from where I live but I have found and know that it is more than worth the drive. Their fish is always fresh, hand picked through, they do not sale anything that is not up to their standards which are very high, the customer and their safety is always at the forefront and not the money. I can not express how much I have grown to appreciate their service to our community as a whole. They are very personable, very courteous, and have excellent customer service. Mrs. Thomas makes sure your fish is the way you want them and they are ALWAYS cleaned to perfection. I have never taken fish from there that were not cleaned right. Mr. Thomas is the best seafood fryer/boiler in town. He takes his time with each customer and is never in a rush. He makes sure that your fish is cooked properly if you choose to have him cook them and it is cooked as if it was something he was going to fix for himself or his family. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas take great pride in what they do. They know that many still depend on them and even though it gets hard at times, they always show up, they always give you their best , it is always known and shown how much they love what they do and those that support them You do not have to have your food prepared by them as they sale raw seafood that you can take home prepare or even freeze until you are ready for it which is what we usually do. Even when I freeze my fish because of the quality of it, it still tastes fresh and my family always enjoy it. Please help celebrate them, support a local family owned business that has stood the test of time, they have owned this business some thirty years and counting and I make sure I support them as well as my children and other members of our family. Moons Coffee & Tea Menu with Prices 1605 Juan Tabo Blvd NE # F, Albuquerque

Let me just say, that I was REALLY impressed!!! I’m headed out of town, and always take ‘something NM’ to my hosts, and this time, decided I would take Pinon Coffee. Looked on Yelp to see ‘who’ made the best in ABQ, and the word was MOONS COFFEE & TEA. So, I made the trek into town (I live in Mountainair), and stopped at Moons. WOW!!! I admit, I’m not much of a coffee connoisseur, but this place just makes you want to buy local, and try every blend!!! GREAT folks (met the owner and her daughter). Stream of folks coming in are regulars (you will be too!). Bought some Pinon Nut Coffee to take to friends in CO, and bought some MANY MOONS COFFEE for myself, based on a regular customer’s recommendation. WOW!!! I think my regular morning blend has been replaced!!! It’s AWESOME!!! Thank you for a GREAT experience; I’ll be back. Recommendation: Learned I should call ahead and place my order for bagged coffee; roasted fresh, so best to call ahead.
