I really, really, REALLY want to love this place. The vibe is awesome. The staff is very friendly, but… The food…that is the reason for the 3 stars. The food is delicious, but…whenever we order smoothies, 1 or more ingredients is always missing/out of stock. My wife and I visit after the gym for delicious post workout treat. The first 2 times we visited, super on point. Sine then, at least 10 visits, when I order The Recover, cherries are always gone, half the time I’m eating peanut butter instead of cashew butter. One time I was casually watching and the gentleman making the smoothie forgot to add protein and maca root (which I paid extra for). Another time, they had zero ingredients and we had a different smoothie all together. My wife loves Hempnotic. Most of the time it’s correct, however, lately something is always being substituted. I want local businesses to thrive. CSRA has enough chains. I live in North Augusta and drive passed a Tropical Smoothie Café to come here. If this trend continues with Humanitree, sadly, I’ll have to go somewhere else for our post workout treat.

Vida Juice Bar – Menu with Prices – 1290 University Ave, Rochester

EVERYONE STOP AND READ THIS REVIEW. Vida Juice Bar is delicious, using the freshest ingredients at the fairest price. I’ve sipped delightfully on the Protein Shakes, Vanilla, Choc PB banana and PBJ, and Choc PB banana is my fav. Excellent service, Ugur Mengi is awesome! Also, I’ve recommended Vida Juice to my friends and they love it too! Located conveniently in a great space within Ruckhouse Athletics where I spoke with Chris Greene and he gave us a welcome tour! I plan to return for a workout and of course, a post workout shake! Thank you, I will be back soon!

The Smoothie Room – Menu with Prices – 25 W Crystal Lake St Suite 163, Orlando

Arrived around 6:00pm or so, which wasn’t a busy time. I had the “Chocolate Factory”, which had almond milk, almond butter, dark chocolate, organic cacao, banana, and peanut butter. I usually dislike peanut butter in any smoothie because it usually overpowers all the other flavors. This smoothie has a nice balance of all the ingredients and it actually has made me more open-minded to smoothies with peanut butter. The cashier was new and she was friendly, asking what type of smoothie I would like. She recommended 3, “Health Nut”, “Butter Face”, and “Chocolate Factory”, based of what I told her. I thought “Butter Face” was a funny name. She and the other employee were nice to answer my question on what “maca” was, and if I could have a menu copy. Right now, the prices will change, so she said I am welcome to just take a picture of the menu. I’d definitely come back here for a smoothie fix! Delicious smoothie and great customer service. The ambience is relaxing too with the art decorations. The prices were reasonable too, for the quality.

The Healthy Spot – Menu with Prices – 3422 W Hammer Ln e, Stockton

I was looking for something refreshing, yet packed with protein after working out, and thanks to Yelp, it led me here! Sorry Jamba Juice… Kinda tucked away in the streets of Stockton, CA, The Healthy Spot is located in some plaza (sorry, not familiar with the city). Anywhooo, I like the chill vibes from this place. It reminded me of a barber and/or vape shop, so expect homies to be chilling with their homies at this spot. Nothing wrong that because it just shows how supportive people are They have a bunch of things to choose from on their menu, which made it a bit difficult for me. They have a loooooong list of shakes (which is why I visited) and the the fact that peanut butter plays the Number role in 90% of their shakes, post-workout shakes, etc. etc., Peanut Butter lovers… good luck trying to fine THE ONE. After 5, maybe even 10 mins, I finally chose the OREO COOKIE shake and added peanut butter! Man oh man, talk about delicioussss!! It may look super sweet but it’s not! It was THICCCCC yet easy to drink. This shake was the perfect blend of Oreos, peanut butter + getting your protein! Yes, they offer meal replacement items, but tbh, this smoothie that I ordered became my dinner. I love how I didn’t feel like crap after drinking it. I felt refueled, refreshed, and 100% satisfied. So if you happen to crave a shake, I highly suggest trying The Healthy Spot! Lastly, a big ups to the cashier who was patient with me, answered all of my questions, and for giving me advice on what would be ideal for me to order.

Emerald City Smoothie Menu with Prices 221 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue

We came here to get a smoothie, as Emerald City Smoothie recently relocated to Park Row in downtown Bellevue. Glad to have it in the area, as it provides healthier smoothies than any other smoothie spot around. We ordered a 32oz. Mango Berry smoothie to share, which is a good size for doing so. There’s also a 24oz. size option. In addition to smoothies, which you can customize to your liking, they offer acai bowls and other health products like supplements, protein powder, pre-workout mixes, etc… There was only one employee working on a Thursday late afternoon when we visited, so service was slow since there were a few customers waiting to get their smoothie. The shop here though is much better than its former downtown Bellevue location, offering more space, which allows for customers to hang out on the couch or at other seating options. I’m a fan of Emerald City Smoothie, so am glad they’ve reopened in downtown Bellevue. There are lots of healthy options here for smoothies, with some including whey protein or boosters. I like that you can customize any of the smoothies, to whatever fruit flavor, boosters, milk options, etc…you desire.

Movita Juice Bar – Menu with Prices – 23866 Copper Hill Dr, Valencia

Ahhh being healthy. The idea sounds nice but in practice it’s so hard to maintain. This place makes it a bit easier! This place has juice in the name and of course I haven’t gotten juice at all yet. But… I have had their smoothies and let me tell you, DANK! I’ve been here a few times and it’s just as good every time I come! I usually go with the peanut butter banana smoothie, once the papaya almond and once the berry. The peanut butter banana is my favorite. And all of their smoothies have a scoop of protein in it. I come here sometimes after my workout if I’m too lazy to cook, which is quite a bit lately.. lol. They also have a meal replacement shake that can act as a meal for you, might try that next. Or maybe I should finally try juice since that is in the name. This place feels healthier than Jamba Juice too. I feel like Jamba loads their smoothies up with sugar but this tastes a bit more fresh. One of my favorite parts about this place is their rewards membership. They have a rewards “card” but you don’t actually get a card. You just give them your phone number every time you go in and after 10 drinks you get 1 free I think. Because who else here loses their stamp cards at literally every place that gives you one? I know I do haha. I dig the forward thinking from them. They also sell protein bars and supplements there too. Vitamins and health pills, no steroids so relax guys… if you want that you need to hit the deep web. This place is all natural safe stuff. A 24oz. smoothie is $6 and a juice of the same size is the same price. Good pricing for sure, Jamba and Nektar would make you take out a bank loan just to afford one drink. Good pricing at Movita, good service, and good flavor. 5 stars!

Delicieux Coffee | Juice Bar – Menu with Prices – 3131 S Market St #104, Gilbert

My absolute favorite healthy juice/smoothie/bowl spot for several reasons: 1. They are located right next to my Pilates studio. So it’s easy immediate access post workout 2. Everything is freshly made using top quality ingredients and so dang delicious. Also unique choices! 3. It is absolutely spotless inside. So clean that I assumed it is a franchise. It is not! They just hit their 2 year anniversary on July 1st 4. The service is unmatched. One of the owners is so gorgeous, so sweet, and remembered the order of my friend and I by like the third time we came in I cannot rave enough about Deliceux and how important it is to keep local small business owners in business. If you go once you’ll go a ton of times! I love the Açaí bowl tropical style. I ate it for breakfast and dinner one day. It’s that fresh and satisfying especially during the 115 degree weather days.

Sunshine Juice Co. – Menu with Prices – 6225 E Virginia St suite c, Evansville

I love the idea of this place most of all. I’ve had some really great experiences here, like the time I ordered the Tropicana banana smoothie with plant protein. That was delicious! Expensive, but delicious. It was nice and blended and not at all the water down version of most establishments. I’m also a fan of the breakfast smoothie, but one time I ordered it and I got this water down smoothie that wasn’t frozen and it had lots of chunks of oats in it, which I did not appreciate. I do not blame the whole restaurant on this one mistake. No, this was just a case of a bad smoothie maker. But, that smoothie cost eight dollars! It was a small! I understand that fresh fruit is expensive but no small drink should cost that much. I’ve had experiences with their juices which I enjoyed very fresh and detoxifying. Be careful about the smoothies. I think I prefer making my own smoothies. The key to all good good smoothies is frozen FRESH fruit. I think this place sticks by that rule only halfway. I would go back I think, but only for the chocolate peanut butter granola. I highly recommend that!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 703 Brandon Ave SW, Roanoke

I just went to tropical smoothie cafe for the 1st time and will be going back there after any workouts that I possibly can! I got the peanut paradise smoothie because the young lady on drive-through told me it was her favorite so I figured why not try it. And she was not kidding it is an amazingly delicious smoothie.she said to add the pea protein and it will make it taste like birthday cake and she was not Lying. She was very informative and polite which I appreciate! Also I got the Caribbean jerk chicken wrap and it is A-may-zing!!

JuiceBar Juice – Menu with Prices – Norfolk

The JuiceBar is on the right corner of the student recreation center (SRC) once you enter the facility. Most of my classes are in the SRC so majority of my time at ODU is in this building. I normally chill in the seating area in front of the bar in between classes. There’s not a whole lot of seating but the couches are pretty comfy lol. I’ve gotten a smoothie here only twice and it was the Sweet Greens (mango, pineapple, banana, spinach and kale) both times. I get this simply because it has the greens nah mean? The smoothie was not bad, tasted a little too sugary for me but it was bearable. They also have a fridge with others drinks and some snacks like cliff bars and chips. I think it’s pretty cool that ODU planted a JuiceBar in the gym. It’s pretty convenient for students and dem gym rats to grab a protein shake or something fueling before or after their workout. At least we know that this school promotes healthy eating (healthy snacking rather). There’s not much good or bad I can say but definitely skip the Tropical Smoothie on campus and walk to the JuiceBar. It’s worth the walk..

Level X Nutrition – Menu with Prices – 5235 E Kings Canyon Rd Ste 103, Fresno

Love this little shake shop! The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Everything I’ve tried so far tastes amazing. They have a large variety and everything you need from pre-workout, post-workout and everything in between. I’m typically a really shy person so I was hesitant to go in because I don’t like it when people pressure me into buying things I don’t want but this was not the case here. They we very welcoming and did not make me feel pressured at all. It’s right down the street from my work so i will definitely be going back! They have coffee also if you’re looking to trade you’re Starbucks habit for a more healthy option you should check them out!

Ajeen and Juice Cafe – Menu with Prices – 221 Riverside Ave, Jacksonville

After a great workout I decided to stop & try a smoothie. It’s so convenient being right in the Winston YMCA lobby. The staff were very friendly & helpful. As I was waiting I was talking to another customer who is addicted to their cheese pies. It looks delicious. They offer smoothies, super smoothies, juices, juice shots, salads & other baked goods like muffins & cheese pies. All their breads are baked fresh at their San Marco location. I tried the Bruce Lee a green smoothie with pineapple, kale, yogurt, ginger, vanilla & banana. They don’t add sugar so you taste all the ingredients. The taste is awesome. A 16 oz is $6.95. They made it while I waited, not long. I stopped by after 1pm and it was not very busy. I plan to return and try their salads & cheese pies. Hope they get the support to continue offering these tasty & healthy goodies.

Playa Bowls – Menu with Prices – At, 945 International Dr, Wilmington

Playa Bowls is located next to Chipotle in Mayfaire. Tried this franchise on its grand opening day. There was a long line of people already waiting before they opened. They were nice enough to give some free cold brew coffee of Lucky Joe’s Jammin’ Jamaican while we were waiting out in the hot weather. The decor and decorations were fun to look at, an island and surfer style. It’s a small place, so there is not much seating when it is busy. You place your order at the cashier and wait for them to call your name when it’s done. They offer a variety of bowls including acai, green, chia pudding, oatmeal, coconut, and banana bowls. Other menu options are fresh juices, smoothies, cold brew coffee, bagged blueberry flax granola, other bottled drinks, and packaged vegan and gluten-free Jonesbars. They have specialized menu items but you can add extra ingredients to the bowls and smoothies for an extra cost. Some of the extra ingredients are whey protein or vegan protein to add a protein boost. My order for the Electric Mermaid Pitaya bowl ($11) was done pretty quickly. It came with fresh chopped mango, kiwi, pineapple, as well as granola, and dried coconut flakes/pieces. The sweetness was perfect, it wasn’t overly sweet. They layered the fruit on top, then the granola, and then the pitaya smoothie blend. Even though the granola was smothered in the smoothie blend, it was still crunchy. The price of the bowls and smoothies are a bit expensive. They do offer a 15% discount off your next visit if you sign up with your phone number on their deal alert. They also offered a card for 10% off the next visit. The bowl was filling for a meal. This is a good place if you’re craving a cold, somewhat healthy smoothie or bowl and are willing to spend the money.
