Wow, just tried this place for the first time and all I can say is INCREDIBLEâ??an absolute neighborhood staple. The falafel sandwich is to die for, but itâ??s the topping options that make this place. They offer a variety of pickled veggies to put on any sandwich and they are absolutely delicious. Even more than the food, the staff is beyond friendly, attentive, and helpful. Last note, shell out the extra $1.50 for the Cajun fries over the regular fries…theyâ??re insanely good. I love this place and will definitely be back time and time again.

Renee’s Place – Menu with Prices – 1425 E 25th St, Cleveland

Very good food and great service! Came to this restaurant to celebrate my friend Rhonda’s birthday last week and had a great time. Notable items were the big juicy butterflied shrimp and the fresh and crispy chicken wings breaded in-house and served with a sauce of your choice. The Cajun butter wings were so craveable, I could eat a whole plate! We even got extra to go ? I had the make a review as this restaurant has recently opened in the location previously occupied by Mardi Gras and it did not have a Yelp page yet! So now you know Yelpers! Stop in at Renee’s! Cajun Butter. The staff is very attentive and friendly, they really made us feel welcome and relaxed! I will definitely come back for their wings and seafood so another review to come soon. Cajun Butter. I hope they forgive me for transferring some of their photos from their Facebook page, as I couldn’t take my hands off my food long enough to take a picture! Cajun Butter. I will have to check out their cocktails and perhaps one of their weekend live music and stand-up events. Oh, and did I mention their wings? Very good, and my favorite is with Cajun Butter. ?

Dixie’s On Grand – Menu with Prices – 695 Grand Ave, St Paul

My fiancé & I both love Cajun food. We happened to stumble across this restaurant on our walk toward Grand Ole Creamery. I’m glad we decided to visit! The baking powder biscuits are delicious! The jambalaya has the perfect amount of spice, and had a variety of different proteins in it. The rice was cooked just right. The Mason Dixon Po-Boy is jam packed full of brisket! The Creole Mustard added to the sandwich was so flavorful. It also came with an au jus. It was a delight to dunk the sandwich in it. I liked that I was able to sub red beans, and andouille, and rice, in place of fries, for no added charge! My only complaint is that they ran out of gumbo. But that just means I’ll have to visit another time! Cajun food is not super popular in the Twin Cities, so it was fun to check this place out.

Twisting Roots – Menu with Prices – 5469 Chambers Way E, Jacksonville

WOW! I was thinking it was going to be good but not GREAT! The lady (boss?) was welcoming and asked if I wanted to try a sample. But as I was browsing their menu the Bikini Bottom sandwich caught my eye. Shrimp and crawfish combo sounded like a win-win situation. My order came with a side of Cajun style fries and a drink. The fries were super crispy and had a flavorful spicy kick, what cajun fries should be! The sandwich surprised me, I read that it had a southwestern coleslaw as a topping but I didn’t think much about it since I’m neutral when it comes to coleslaw in general. Coupled with the surprisingly crispy battered fried shrimp-crawfish it made the sandwich so good. Loved the crunchiness of the seafood with the crispiness of the slaw combined with the soft bread. Great trinity of textures and flavors on my palate. I highly recommend this food truck even if you have given them a try, I’d say try another sandwich and see what other flavors they offer ;)!

Georgetown cafe – Menu with Prices – 891 Georgetown St, Lexington

After months of hearing how good this place is from several different co workers we stopped on the way home. One of us got the small order of bourbon chicken and noodles on the side, the other got a Philly cheese steak sandwich and Cajun fries. The portions are more then generous. The food came out piping hot and the service was quick. I have to say it was really rea lly good! I’ll definitely be back again. It’s a no frills store front but looks are deceiving! The guy at the counter was more then helpful and pretty friendly.

Sillie Philly Chicken & Sub’s – Menu with Prices – 4723 Monkhouse Dr, Shreveport

Today was my first time eating here and I ordered the loaded Cajun fries and a Philly cheese steak sandwich. The loaded fries were INCREDIBLE!! However, the Philly cheese steak sandwich I did not care for. The bun was not a Philly bun it was more like an extra large hot dog bun, the meat, cheese etc did not taste like cheese steak at all. It did not have any flavor and the cheese was not cooked and melted into the meat well, it sat unmelted on top of the meat. I will eat here again because the establishment was clean, the person who took my order was kind and professional and I can always try something else!

Nik’s Steak & Seafood Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 2129 Farm to Market 2920 #250, Spring

We came today to eat and it was packed full. Food must be good if there’s a lot of customers right? There was 1 waiter who had to cover all tables, the venue is small. But I thought that was a little unfair. We ordered the Cajun shrimp and onion ring appetizer. Cajun shrimp was doused in hot sauce and some Cajun season sprinkled on top. This was very disappointing. Who ever created that menu item should take it off. I was very disappointed when it came out. Presentation sucked and it was no where near what you’d expect. Onion rings were 5 stars this is the first place that had genuine taste, texture, and crunch of a true onion ring. Pork chop and side salad, the pork chop was delicious! I don’t know how they cooked it but I loved it. The side salad was pretty good for a regular house salad. Probably cause they add onions. I do love some onions. Hamburger and fries, the burger was seasoned and pretty tasty. We will be back to give it another try ?

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar – Menu with Prices – 11560 Fourth St, Rancho Cucamonga

I love everything about this restaurant and all its locations that I hav been to. First of all they are dog lovers – which I do too!!!! The restaurant is authentic is their trademark and all its charm. You can call your name in ahead of time on most busy times like your Friday date night. Came here on Sunday to have lunch and watch some football. There was a 15 minute wait for a table but my husband is alway great at scoping the bar area for a high table. Guess what – Success… Table was cleaned off quickly and got a drink order in. My opted for a lemonade, thyme, & cucumber drink and it was VERY tasty. My hubby ordered a LD double mango brew as it was delicious. We order some buffalo cauliflower appetizer – again DELICIOUS. Nothing was left on the plate except a few bleu cheese crumbs. Lunch order included squash soup & grilled cheese sandwich with Cajun fries. Their soups are mostly homemade daily. They have a new feature on the menu too – Don’t miss out on this one… Candied bacon!!!! I added this on to my grilled cheese and it was a nice extra to have. I had the other half of my sandwich on Monday and the bacon was even more distinguished & tasteful. Service is alway very tentative & helpful. I would recommend this restaurant for any type of occasion or just to stop and watch a game & have a drink!

John’s Philly Grille (We close early if we run out of fresh baked bread) – Menu with Prices – 20379 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach

Honestly? I never thought this day would ever come. I had pretty much resigned myself that I had found the best Philadelphia cheese steak in Southern California at Frank’s Philly in Costa Mesa. I mean, it was my go-to place, and really felt that there was no other alternatives available. Well, here I am with melted cheese on my face. My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to get a bite to eat when we decided on trying to find a good Philly cheese steak. I suggested our regular haunt, but she said no, let’s try something new. We told my roommate that we were looking for a good Philly cheese steak and was thinking about John’s Philly Cheesesteak onBeach boulevard. she said, “Oh yes, absolutely. Without a doubt, that is the place you need to go!” This place is definitely an old school, hole in the wall sandwich shop. It’s bright yellow, with hand-painted letters, and looks like it was a hamburger stand in the late ’60s. But let me tell you, this place is the real deal when it comes to Philly cheesesteaks. We ordered a 12″ The Works, and asked the girl at the counter if we should do fries or onion rings. She asked us if it was our first time there, and before we could even get the first two letters of yes out of our mouth, she said get the fries. So we ordered the fries extra crispy. Let me just say this: Everything was amazing. The bread that they put the sandwich on was impeccable. Like, I haven’t tasted anything that good since I had a Philly cheese steak in Philadelphia. And the fries, are big. Like steak fries. Definitely get them extra crispy. We ordered the sweet hot peppers on the side, because we were unsure about the heat. But I have no hesitation in throwing them all on the sandwich. They are full of flavor and won’t burn your mouth apart. If you like a good Philly cheese steak the way I do, you really have to give this place a try. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other things on their menu, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be having a Philly cheesesteak for the next several visits. It’s just that good. Bottom line? You are going to love this place as much as I do. As a side note, they do not accept $100 bills. Not really sure why, but there are several signs stating the fact. So if you are a high roller, make sure to have a wad of 20s when you go there.

Snow & Crab – Menu with Prices – 32965 Temecula Pkwy #100, Temecula

My boyfriend and I came to eat here this past Saturday around dinner time and expected it to be very packed- it wasn’t. (We LOVE Boiling Crab, and have been looking for something similar around our area and found this restaurant) We enter and wait for someone. There wasn’t that many people working. A lady who works there approaches us, she wasn’t kind or friendly. She simply asks us “For two?”, turns around, and expected us to follow her. We followed her and she sat us and left us at the table. She seemed annoyed and very uninterested in us or being friendly. We ordered a pound and a half of shrimp and Cajun- styled fries. The shrimp was not even at least mediocre. It had no flavor and it was lukewarm when we got it. The fries were tasteless. It just felt like we were biting into cooked potatoes. To score the food and service at a scale of 1-10 Shrimp: 1 Fries- 1 Service: 2 Not coming here again. The lady was not welcoming and the food was tasteless. Back to searching for a better place with Cajun shrimp.

Old Town Deli – Menu with Prices – 512 N 3rd St, Harrisburg

I’ve been coming here for months for a quick sandwich, soup, or salad for lunch while working downtown. Small selection of choices but of the highest quality and deliciousness. Speaking of small, very limited seating, so get there early or take your order to go. My favorites are the chicken noodle soup, French onion soup and the Cajun chicken sandwich (with quality Boar’s Head meats). I like how their soup, salad and sandwich specials rotate daily, maintaining variety on an otherwise limited menu. Special requests are accommodated by a friendly staff and a very attentive owner. I highly recommend this place for lunch any day during the work week.

ATM (T & T Shell Inc) – Menu with Prices – 6001 Palmer Blvd, Sarasota

Inexpensive and good Located inside the Shell gas station is a deli where they have many already prepared items, most looked fried, or they can make made to order items like what I had, a Steak & Cheese. While I waited for my sandwich there was almost a steady stream of people coming and going, getting something for lunch. Many customers were obviously regulars, chatting with the staff. Good moods all around. My sandwich and fries didn’t take long. There is no seating inside and I didn’t see any outside, so I took my food and headed to someplace to enjoy it. I definitely enjoyed my sandwich, it didn’t look very fancy but it was large and good. The fries not so much, they were limp and kind of oily. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food and if you are in a hurry you can get and go pretty quickly.

Beast Mode Food Truck – Menu with Prices – 603 Jordan Ln NW, Huntsville

Rudest worker Iâ??ve ever met. He served us old hard fries I very nicely ask for fresh fries and because my son ate a few bites of his sandwich i was told â??Iâ??m not replacing thisâ? I said Iâ??m not asking for new sandwiches just fresh fries. Then to replace the Kitchen sink fries my husband had, which is a bowl of fries with toppings, the fries that came with my sandwich and the fries my son had with his sandwich he gives one bowl of fries and the toppings in an extra bowl. I ask if we can have fries to also go with the sandwiches and was told â??You are lucky Iâ??m giving you thisâ? I said â??you are lucky I didnâ??t give you the food back ask for a refundâ? Iâ??ve never met someone so rude when he should never have served fries that were so old and hard to begin with.
