Had a serious crawfish fix these past few weeks and knew exactly where to cure it ? I’d tried this place out almost three years ago when visiting town. Wife and family stopped in again this past Saturday evening after attending a festival down the road in Gonzales. Got two pounds crawfish while my wife got her preferred boiled shrimp. It was seasoned perfectly and the potatoes and corn picked up the crab boil only slightly. That’s how it’s supposed to be, in order to cleanse your palate with bites of each for the next tasty crawdad as you’re eating it. The service was outstanding, as it was my previous time there. Didn’t catch their names, but a blonde-haired girl took our orders seamlessly while another girl, with dark hair, was on the other register. Excellent experience and I’d go back again for more in a heartbeat!

Crawdad’s of Dallas – Menu with Prices – 2701 Fondren Dr, Dallas

Crawdad’s catered our company event and I’d be glad to recommend them to anyone considering Cajun food/crawfish boil as a party theme. They have a great catering menu and there is more than crawfish. We ordered crawfish for 30 and got a really good price per pound. For parties, you need to order 1 week before the event to ensure you get the most recent market price. We opted to get our crawfish cooked and ready to eat although you can hire them to cook the live crawfish at your location. If you get it precooked, it’s much cheaper. The food came in Styrofoam coolers that kept the crawfish hot until serving time. They were medium-large sized crawfish with lots of Cajun seasoning. The new potatoes were super creamy and the corn was so sweet and tasty. Definitely check them out! They’re the only crawfish caterer that will deliver to DFW locations.

Bay Seafood Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 23201 Aldine Westfield Rd, Spring

Dim lighting which is fine on a hot day and otherwise nice setting for the place. Bathroom a mess with one toilet that did not flush. Crawfish prices were not in the menu. Waiter started 5 pounds for $25 so I got 5. Menu said corn and potatoes included with crawfish and shrimp, waiter said not true and menu didn’t say it. Crawfish didn’t taste like they were all boiled together. Also came with corn and extra potatoes waiter took back because she said its not supposed to come with crawfish. Asked for extra seasoning it had been wet. Got bill it said $35 for crawfish. Waiter said that’s what she said and you can read it for yourself on the sign which is at the register so if you’re eating there you won’t see it until you leave. Didn’t even look at us when she was taking about it then turned back and continued talking with coworker. She knows I didn’t see sign because I asked her if they had crawfish and them I asked how much. She didn’t have anything to write down order. Asked several times what I was having so she could remember. Either she’s new or they are telling customers anything to make money. Either way she is the reason for my dissatisfaction and 2 stars. If waiter was better I would’ve gave 3 stars because boudin balls were delicious. And shrimp embrochette was ok would’ve been better if jalapenos were fresh.

Dino’s Donuts Menu with Prices 929 E 81st Ave, Anchorage

Me: do you have any kale donuts? Girl behind the counter: No Me: do you have any vegan donuts? Girl behind the counter: No Me: do you have any sugar free donuts? Girl behind the counter: No Me: I will have one of every kind… to go. I don’t want healthy donuts. I don’t want good for you donuts. I want a good old fashion morsels of deliciousness made by a crew who knows how to get 5 gallons of flavor in a 3 ounce pastry of perfection! Dino’s nailed it! Outstanding Donuts, outstanding customer service, outstanding variety. Donuts are the last thing on the planet that I should be eating. If my doctor found out, she would say it and then she would do it, (you can figure out what IT is). sometimes the bad boy in me just needs to come out. I have the freedom to decide whether to rob a bank or go get a donut. In an effort to keep the peace and stay out of the federal penitentiary, Dino’s is my go to place when I need to break bad. Eat hearty my friends.

Bodacious Pizza LLC – Menu with Prices – 309 Aragona Blvd Suite 105, Virginia Beach

Wife and I were here this past Saturday, and the Hostess greeted us promptly, and we seated ourselves after having to get 2 Menu’s ourselves. After letting the Waitress that we wanted Water to drink, we looked over the Menu’s to see what we wanted. Wife decides to get a Cheeseburger, and I see they have Chicken Parmigiana Subs. We let the Waitress know what we wanted, and we waited about 10 minutes before our food is served to us. I take a few bites out of my Sub, and noticed that there was very little Tomato Sauce on my Sub. It was Dry due to the little amount on it. My Wife notices that there is a Couple sitting not too far from us as I mention the Dryness of the Sub, and she see’s that the Woman at the other table is eating Spaghetti, and the Tomato Sauce was non-existed as well. If a place is going to serve Tomato Sauce on their food. it should be there in to where you can enjoy it very much. As for my Wife’s Cheeseburger, she said it was good with some spices in it which she could not place. The only thing is that there was no Ketchup for her to put on her Cheeseburger, and that there was no Onion on it as well. As for the Sides that comes with our Dinner, we had got the Red Potato’s. When we get them, they are served in a tiny cup that is on the plate! What is that about?! It was enough for maybe 3 – 4 Bites before they were gone. If you come here, just stick with the Pastries, even though we didn’t get to try them yet, don’t order the Spaghetti, Chicken Parmigiana, or anything else that has Tomato Sauce with it, or the Red Potato’s as well for your side.

Cajun Seafood – Menu with Prices – 2707 Granby St #104a, Norfolk

Not the place for crawfish. Originally was really excited to get some crawfish take out, especially for only $5.99 per pound but was really disappointed with the quality. The crawfish looked huge but the tails inside were small and shriveled- as if they were previously frozen then over cooked. For 2 lbs I barely had enough to fill me up and the seasoning wasn’t flavorful and barely coated the crawfish. Would come and try the crab legs next time but definitely recco against getting the crawfish again.

Continental Flambe – Menu with Prices – 936 E New Haven Ave, Melbourne

This has always been my favorite restaurant for special occasion. Last night for Valentine’s dinner was very disappointing. We arrived at 8:45 PM and was seated at a small 2 top table. It was so brightly lit it was painful by a hostess that didn’t known how to smile. No one acknowledged us with anything other than the menu. 10 minutes past and we got water. 15 minutes past we got bread. 20 minutes past we ask for service (please bring the wine list and serve us). 30 minutes past we finally have a bottle of wine. 40 minutes past we finally get to order. We had a different person for every step, so don’t know who was supposed to be our server. The food was fabulous once served. I know they were busy but you should never be too busy to at least be acknowledged . It was like no one knew who was supposed to be serving us. Please correct the lighting and the service if you want to remain my go to .

Cooney’s Crawfish – Menu with Prices – 4535 Moss St, Lafayette

We have been ordering from Cooneyâ??s since they opened on Moss St. Crawfish and shrimp are delicious. Everyone is very friendly and courteous. When I placed my order for 3 sacks of crawfish to take to El Paso to boil for our son and some of his Army buddies, I asked about transporting them for 15 hours in order to keep them alive by the time we got there. We picked up our crawfish yesterday, prepared with ice and towels and met Mr Brown. He personally knows one of the soldiers we are feeding today from Crowley. Mr Brown would not let me pay for the crawfish and asked that we thank each one for their service. My heart is so full. Thank you Cooneyâ??s for supporting our troops!

Crazy Cajun – Menu with Prices – 16000 Stuebner Airline Rd Suite M, Spring

1. Service – our waiter was a guy that goes by “T”. He’s pretty cool and came by often to check up on us. His other teammates were very helpful also. They anticipated what we needed and provided us with refills/crawfish disposal bins even before we asked for it. Just service alone was outstanding. 2. Price – bought 5lbs of Crawfish and a basket of wings with 2 water and paid about $58 for two people. Minus the wings, we paid about $10 per pound for crawfish. Expensive in my opinion. Market price is $4.82 per pound this week. 3. Ambiance – contemporary looking. They have a bar and lots of TVs for game night. Nice place to hang with your boys. 4. Food – we’ve been to the other locations for Crazy Cajun (Hollister St and Jones Rd) and I feel this place was subpar compared to the others. LEMON PEPPER WINGS were overly seasoned and super salty, and the GARLIC SENSATION CRAWFISH were not so fresh and soggy. Perhaps it was this one visit or maybe the chef had a bad day. 5. Cleanliness – this is a brand new restaurant, so the dining area appears clean as what we can see. Restrooms are ok. I may come back to test it one more time, but I wouldn’t want the same experience.

Captain Sid’s Seafood – Menu with Prices – 1700 Lake Ave, Metairie

Tourists pay attention, this is important info. If you are coming to Nola and plan to eat crawfish, here is some advice from a crawfish pro. First off, thereâ??s nothing like a home boil done right. If you have friends here that know what they are doing, youâ??ve hit the jackpot, Godspeed. If not, have no fear. There will be some chirps from the cheap seats but The Bucktown area of New Orleans, name ably Captain Sidâ??s, is the go to spot for boiled crawfish in the city for locals. Captain Sidâ??s competitor a block down is 1b to Captain Sidâ??s 1a. I wonâ??t mention them bc this is a Captain Sidâ??s review. Only bad thing is that these are both seafood markets with no dining area. However, if you have an AirBnb, do what the locals do, bring it back, dump it on the table outside and make it a party. Eating crawfish in restaurants usually will cost you a boatload, possibility double or triple the market price. Best months of the crawfish season are March, April and May but you may find some decent mud bugs a month before and/or after peak season. Iâ??d stay away from eating crawdads from July-December, chances are they could be from China, which is blasphemy!

Fisherman?s Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 2936 Lavon Dr Ste 200, Garland

Honestly I’m kind of at fault . When We walked in the place was completely empty during lunch rush hour. We sat down ,service was decent but I had to walk up to the bar just to see what types of beers they had on Tap as the waitress did not know. After ordering our drinks we decided on calamari and crawfish. Calamari was good but lacked a little bit of flavor but overall it was worth the price. Now when we get to the crawfish that was absolutely horrific. They had some garlic layered flavor but no true flavor in the crawfish. I was told by the chief that they are always fresh and that sometimes they mix them with non-fresh ones to fill orders. Half of my crawfish were dead and mushy and after eating four pieces I sent them back in which I took pictures of along with the receipt if anybody’s interested . I then was told I will pay full price and good luck. Lol we left and walked next door to Cici’s NEVER EAT HERE!

LA Crawfish Katy – Menu with Prices – 569 S Mason Rd #102, Katy

Theres soooo many more good crawfish places with better service in the Katy area such as bb’S cafe or yummys crawfish. I only went here because they also offer pho. Their crawfish is not that great and the size is small. During off season they serve frozen crawfish. They also gave me a pretty bad batch of crawfish. I came to la crawfish on mason road on Monday March 11 at 7:30 pm. Nina told me they had 3 lbs of crawfish and double checked with the kitchen and told me I could only order 3lbs because they are sold out. While I’m waiting for my order dan goes to the pregnant lady behind me and tells her they have 3 lbs left. I brought 4 adults and 5 kids with me ready to eat crawfish and so disappointed they begged to go somewhere else. We came from sugar land and memorial city just to come because la crawfish had PhO and crawfish. Since pho shack is run by bad owners we didn’t support their business anymore. Everyone was pretty upset. I asked dan why he didn’t ask if we wanted it because we were at the counter at the cut off when they told us they were out of crawfish we had ten people and they only offered us 3 pounds. I was going to order about 8-10 pounds, and I couldn’t purchase any other food. If I didn’t have 5 kids with us we would have taken our business elsewhere but the kids were already hungry so we were forced to order other food. He responded that he didn’t take my order and at the time they didn’t have more crawfish. I asked him if a crawfish truck went and dropped off 3 pounds, he told me they re weighed their crawfish and found out they had 3 more pounds and only knew the 1 person behind me didn’t get any crawfish. So I was falsely advertised and forced to purchase things like chicken fried rice that no one even ate because we were told there was only 3 more pounds of crawfish. The chicken on the fried rice was like rubber. I didn’t even receive an apology. Nor did he offer more crawfish to me and my party. I refuse to come back to LA crawfish and I will be forced to write a very bad review commenting the bad service, false advertising, bad management and unfair treatment to customers. I asked who the manager was and it was the guy dan so I figured there was no hopes for any kind of apology offers. I’m never coming back and I hope my friends stop coming to LA crawfish. They didn’t even care how pissed off I was I even heard dan telling Nina she’s not getting in trouble for it and laughing about it in the background. I didn’t eat anything because I was afraid they may have done something to my food. Luckily for you guys we still spent over $100 at the establishment because the kids were so hungry and enjoyed the wings.

Yumberry Frozen Yogurt – Menu with Prices – 6876 Spring Creek Rd, Rockford

The froyo itself was good but the girl working seemed rude (no smile no polite banter). And I had paid with a $50 and the girl seemed kind of frantic that I was using such a large bill for my order that was only $11 something, but she handed me my change it was supposed to be $38 something and she said that price so I shoved it in my wallet and didnâ??t think of it. Went to leave a tip at our hotel the next morning and realized the girl had only given me a $20 a $5 and 3 $1s. So she ripped me off by $10.
