The deli products are normally fresh and well-priced but get a taste before you purchase, especially in the Florida “off” season, when turnaround is a bit slower. Carefully check the labels on everything else. They often sell shelf food, even cans and bottles, which has expired or is near expiration (i.e. fresh veggies). Some of the staff is very pleasant but others are impatient and not very helpful. Still, you can’t beat their shrimp salad, nova and other deli products when they have been freshly made. Delicious.

Country Kitchen-Le Page Bakery – Menu with Prices – 276 Warren Ave, Portland

This place is terrific. You can get most all of your bread products here at a steeply discounted price. They have a large assortment of various kinds of bread products. You can get bread, Bagels, buns, pastries, cookies, donuts. The two ladies that work here are very accommodating and are very personable. They remember our family even though we don’t come to the store but maybe once every 3 weeks. Even though this is an outlet and the bread products are approaching their expiration date, the items have not expired and we can grab a half dozen or so and simply freeze them. I have never been dissatisfied with any of the products that I purchased here because they were stale. However, there are several brands for which I don’t personally care to eat. The store is very easily accessible off of Warren Ave and has ample parking. We usually visit the store once a month and would recommend that other people shop here as well. Austell International Farmers Market LLC. – Menu with Prices – 3565 Austell Rd SW, Marietta

happy i found a closer farmers market to my house… fresh meat and sea food… affordable prices… clean environment… helpful employees… they have a very good variety of jamaican products that i need… been here twice already and definitely will be returning… UPDATE: changing this from 5 stars to 3 stars because the milk i brought last week was spoiled… the expiration date is for 7/16/19 and today is only the 7/14/19 the other morning i had a small bowl of cereal and i notice it smelled and taste a bit funny but i looked past it because it wasn’t ready to expire… this morning i went to go pour some out and the odor was sour and it was white chunks coming out… very disappointed because i really like this farmers market… now i have to wonder what other expired items they are labeling wrong…

Kroger Bakery – Menu with Prices – 4650 Forsyth Rd # 112, Macon

This store is running a scam that that works as follows: There is a section with single bottles and cans of beer that, although not clearly marked, are intended to be sold as mix & match 6-packs. Not realizing this, I purchased 2 individual cans on two occasions, and for each can, I was charged the price of an entire 6-pack — almost $20 for two cans. The cashier didn’t alert me to the fact, and didn’t even bother to consolidate the two cans to charge for one 6-pack. So in all 4 cans cost me almost $40. In both cases in which we were overcharged, we failed to notice because we bought a large number of other items. I only discovered the scam when, attempting to purchase 2 bottles, I was informed by cashier Kierra that it would be rung up as if I were purchasing two 6-packs. Thank-you Kierra!

Anew You Raw Juice Bar – Menu with Prices – 14602 Huebner Rd, San Antonio

5/17 I went in to get a “fresh squeezed juice” like advertised on the sign. When I left I noticed a sticker labeled 5/15 in the juice. It wasn’t clear if the juice was made on 5/15 or expired on 5/15 so I called the store back. The lady working was really nice but put me on hold to ask about expiration. Long story short, it left me a little uneasy. Fresh squeezed juice has a pretty short shelf life and for almost $10 I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t get sick. I drove back to the store and the lady working kindly made me a new fresh one. This is what I got. I’m no juice genius but I had to throw half of it out before I got to the juice. Not worth my $10. They definitely need to work on their cleanliness. No gloves were worn, the fruit seemed like it hadn’t even been washed being there were stickers on them, I questioned if they even washed the juicer prior to pressing my juice. On top of that, their fresh bottles were in a trash bag in the corner. Ewww.

Sam’s Deli & Grocery – Menu with Prices – 87 Jamaica Ave #8, Jamaica

I love this store. Best deli on Jamaica Ave! The staff are great, very friendly and helpful. I’ve been living up the block for 16 years and been coming here for 16 years, the only deli that I will ever go to on the Ave. Sandwiches are delicious and big and fresh to order and the salads are delicious! I highly reccomend this place!

Tutto Italiano Menu with Prices 1889 River St, Hyde Park

This place has the most amazing Italian subs. Freshly sliced deli meats on freshly baked scala bread, with generous portions. They also have fresh eggplant, olives, cheeses, sliced deli meats to take home , various different subs, home made frozen pasta dishes, excellent red sauce all good. They sell bottles of wine, unique soft drinks, snacks, Bakery items, candies. They even sell hats and ravioli makers, very unique things. The food is just so good, smells great when you open the door! Just be prepared to wait in line, it’s usually very busy. But worth it.

Walmart Bakery – Menu with Prices – 3501 34th St S, St. Petersburg

Nothing about this Walmart stands out in terms of selection of products or customer service except for the fact that they usually have the most register lanes open out of any Walmart I’ve been to so that’s probably one of the main reasons I keep coming back here. Their seasonal aisles are already a mess with the Halloween stuff though, so good luck shopping for that kind of stuff. They also started putting Christmas stuff in the indoor gardening section, so that was a little annoying since I’m still in need of the pots & support stakes that now seemed to have been drastically thinned down to a very tiny selection to make space for a holiday 3 months away still. It’s hard to beat their prices, but the hassle of finding stuff when they move it like this still makes for an off putting experience. I also wish their produce selection had more “fresh” stuff & not things that are are wilting or nearing expiration. I’ve just given up & started getting my salad mixings & fruit at Publix & everything prepackaged & shelf stable at Walmart.

Petty’s Meat Market – Menu with Prices – 1616 S Babcock St, Melbourne

Best meat in town. Freshest meat in town. Best prices. Staff is very helpful. Every single item in this store is amazing in many different ways. I’ve gotten fresh salads and pastas from the deli. We get the family meat pack and that lasts us almost the entire month. Very nice selections of wines. We started collecting Marilyn Merlot years ago. They have some very rare and delicious and exotic seasonings. Highly recommend this place to all local residents. Travelers and visitors please understand this is not your typical “butcher shop”. Its a million times better and they keep the place clean and beat and organized. Staff always willing to go out their way to help customers.

Acambaro Meat Market – Menu with Prices – 320 S, El Dorado St, Stockton

DISCLAIMER: This review is for the carnitas sold here only. Carnitas here are delicious and you can’t beat their price. They have a deli inside and a bakery but I’ve never tried. This is a Mexican market and it looks well stocked with Mexican products but again Ive only purchased carnitas for my kids birthday parties for years now. Carnitas come with complimentary salsa as well.

Lox Stock & Bagel – Menu with Prices – 2439 Battleground Ave, Greensboro

I love my neighborhood deli, and the staff at Lox Stock and Bagel. I have my favorite sandwiches (The Verona and The Italian Sub) but everything is delicious. The tuna, egg, and chicken salads are made fresh every day, and all of their “sides” are as well. There’s draft beer and a choice of traditional or craft bottles on hand. The iced tea is excellent — always fresh! You can expect friendly and efficient service each visit to this dining spot, established in 1977!

Yummy Japanese Steak House Menu with Prices 12330 Crabapple Rd, Alpharetta

The good: They were open on Christmas Eve. They have enough vegetarian sushi, tempura, and hibachi offerings to put together a vegetarian meal. The tempura was very fresh and tasty. The ginger salad dressing was decent. The avocado, asparagus and cucumber roll was freshly made. The not so good: The hibachi veggies were served with a huge amount of rice and not enough veggies. The veggies were hot and fresh, though. The hibachi sauce was too sweet and I think it had MSG. I got sleepy and had a headache within an hour of the meal, and the hibachi sauce seemed like the likeliest culprit. The salad was slightly wilted and consisted of some plain lettuce with a tiny pinch of shredded carrots, and not even a speck of cucumber or tomato. The miso soup was tasty and had finely slivered scallions and some nice bits of seaweed, but no tofu. I was told the miso soup would contain tofu. Also, the soup was served in a 4 oz plastic deli container. Aside from the awful presentation, why such a skimpy portion? This stuff is cheap, be a little more generous with it! This restaurant has a personality conflict. It has plenty of tables indoors and a lovely patio for outdoor dining, yet even if you order eat-in, everything is served up in to-go containers. There are no plates or bowls, only clamshells and plastic containers. The only cups are styrofoam. This makes less work for staff, but also more waste for the environment and less comfort for diners. But the biggest disappointment was that they had NO HOT BEVERAGES…in December. They only have canned and bottled cold drinks available. There is also a water cooler in the back which has hot and cold water. If I were to ever go back, I would bring my own green tea bags.

Guidi Marcello Co Ltd – Menu with Prices – 1649 10th St, Santa Monica

I think this store is a front – for somehting other than selling groceries. Ever notice half the store is office space… is glassed off with six office desk- wonder what they sell in the back? how could you run a grocery buisness with four racks of old supplies from Italy? I mean OLD. Please read the expiration date on everything berfore you buy. I bought flour and expensive olive oil only to find out after I got home it was going to expire in 5 weeks. I tried to return it the next week and the owner went Balistic.!! Litteraly refussed- he pointed to the sign on the wall- NO returns NO refunds. Ask yoursseld what grocery store doesn’t stand behind their food products? and Why? He didn’t know it- but I speak Italian and when he told me F ***YOU- it was a talking fight…never to retun. The place is a joke- buy fresh products at Bay city .the board of health should take a look at the shelve life of their products they are selling to the consumer.
