My experience here was worse than the one I had at Community in downtown Fresno. I had issues there too but it definitely made me appreciate them more after the garbage at St Agnes. No sense of urgency. My water breaks, husband and I rush to the hospital, tell them I’m in labor (contractions are 5 minutes apart), they say, “okay we’ll be right with you”. And have me sit there and wait for almost 10 minutes. Fucking for real? Glad the babies head wasn’t poking out or anything, just sit there and take your time. Comparison: At Community, they weighed me and hooked up an iv asap and checked dilation – 0 waiting time, they were urgent. Have to ask for water 3 times in a half hour time span because no one seems to care enough to get it. This sort of thing happened throughout my stay, where they would either tell me that they were going to do something (perform tests, get food, medication, etc), and they either didn’t come back, or took a long time (1+ hour) to come back. After delivering, they said they had a room for me and would be back “shortly” to take me. About 2 hours later, they came in (only because my mother stepped outside to ask where a restroom was). So they likely forgot about me. Comparison: After delivering at Community, they wheeled me to a room less than 20 minutes later. They tell me that my ob is at the hospital on-call and he will be right up to deliver me. 5 minutes later, some random dude never met before comes in to deliver me. They ask how I plan to feed baby. Breast and formula. Now they spend 10 minutes on scare tactics. Pretty much my baby is more likely to get fat, sick and die if I don’t breastfeed. When I eventually ask for formula (they don’t allow you to use your own), I get another 5 minute scare tactic speech. Comparison: Told Community the same thing with my first pregnancy and they were fine with it. Delivered at night. They originally tell me I will be able to leave the following night. The following night comes, and now I can’t leave until the next morning. 10am next day, they say they will get the discharge stuff ready. 1pm rolls around and I ask what the hold up is. Like I want to waste another fucking day here. Finally leave at 2pm. Comparison: When Community told me I could leave the following day, I did actually leave. No issues. There was one nice nurse that was actually attentive and seemed to care. And the food was good. But I pretty much never want to go back here again.

Palm Court of Guyana – Menu with Prices – 17116 Hillside Avenue, Jamaica

Called the restaurant and placed an order for delivery. Person taking the order said food should be at my place in 20mins since I’m 2 blocks from the restaurant. Called back an hour later after the food still didn’t arrive. A man picks up (the owner or manager) and says the last order he has in the system for me is from March. I asked him if he could inquire with one of waitresses about the order and he says “don’t you think they will lie about taking the order”. I’m stunned!! What does that have anything to do with anything? You have to question the integrity of the people that work for you, for something as simple as taking a phone order? Or maybe that was just an excuse because he felt a customer’s business isn’t important enough to even ask his staff. Then he goes on to tell me they don’t deliver past 8pm on Sundays. Sat here hungry for no reason!! They obviously didn’t care!!! The man didn’t even apologize, just put forth lame excuses… they obviously don’t care about the people that keep places like this in business. DONT EAT HERE!!! DONT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!! THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I’VE SEEN FROM A RESTAURANT!!!

Hide A While Lounge – Menu with Prices – 9469 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga

What i need to say about this Bar is that at a random decision was made last night to ask me and my friends to leave . so the weekend before we where hanging out with no problem. So the reason why we where asked to leave is because we are bikers that are in the upper age of 50 and we where told up we couldn’t be in there because we had a vest on . and too top that off i dont drink alcohol and one other member is sober also . we stick too ourselves my friends where there long before i got there and they yes they do drink . they spent there money and they where having a good time .and just so you know . bikers dont look for trubble . 9 times out of 10 its a regular civilian that causes trouble we avoid it . this is a clear sign of discrimination based on how you look . if I walked in there with plain clothes would that change who i am i am a biker and i love my life this is discrimination at its best this is not a kool bar dont get kicked out because your wearing the wrong team color

The Eliza Jane In The Unbound Collection By Hyatt – Menu with Prices – 315 Magazine St, New Orleans

Probably will get yelled at for the 4 star review. I’m tougher to please w/the NOLA hotels since I am a native. The hotel is beautiful w/historical significance! There’s a whole story about Eliza Jane in every room or you can just google it. We originally booked 1 night, Friday, June 28. Then my wife and I realized, over alcohol of course, that it was too nice of a hotel for just a night’s stay. We booked a second night and had a choice of a merged reservation, staying in the same room OR switching to a better room at a lower rate. Well, DUH, we took the better room at a lower rate. All I heard from everyone staying there was “This is my go to hotel when I return.” I didn’t hear anyone complain, but me. Remember, I’m a native NOLA, living in another state now. Valet parking is $43 w/tax a night and the garage is 5 blocks away. So allow 15-20 minutes to have your car retrieved for check out. When I arrived to check in I double parked on busy Magazine behind 2 vehicles that had their hazards flashing. I waited for the valet to show up for a good 5-10 minutes while my wife checked in. Still nobody showed up, now the traffic is getting stupid at rush hour. I called the front desk and explained the situation and was told to go around and park in front of those two cars. Once I did that the valet showed up and told me those cars are for departing guests. Um, how does one know that, especially if you’re a tourist? I know better NOT to leave a car double parked on busy Magazine Street during rush hour, much less anywhere in NOLA. The valet explained to me he was the only one at the stand and could not leave his post until another co-worker showed up. Nobody should have to wait on a busy street for a valet. I could’ve just parked up the street at the corner lot for that service. I believe the front desk guy’s name is Juan? My pet peeve in any room is how clean are the air vents! They were NOT clean! Takes 2 seconds to clean. My favorite item in the room was the shower curtain, makes me homesick, and a lamp located in the lounge of my second room. The beds are extremely comfortable in both rooms. I love the matching bath & sink faucets by Kohler and matching hardware for the window treatments. Yes, I’ll return!

Valentino’s – Menu with Prices – 4451 N 26th St, Lincoln

Dont think I’ll ever order at this location again. Was told 45 minutes ordered at 7:58PM and called at 9:14PM to check on order guy told me any second it should show up at any second. Got the pizza at 9:40PM. Asked the delivery guy what took so long and he said there was 4 other deliveries. Okay I get that he had 4 other pizzas to deliver but no one can pick up a phone and tell us they are going to be late. On top of that pizza was cold. Called and talked to manager and he gave me 25% off and wouldn’t own up to mistakes that were made. Also never did get a sincere apology or I hope you will still order with us. I normally dont write reviews but just so people know their food might be late and cold.

Swamp Daddy’s Cajun Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 421 N Phillips Ave, Sioux Falls

For about a year I herd nothing but awesome stuff and I was excited to try it out. My mom had gone and got the catfish and she said it was amazing. We decided to get take out one night and called ahead so I wouldn’t have to wait so long. They opened at like 530 and I called at like 515 and they asked me what time I would be there and I said 20 minutes they said ok. I got there right when it opened and respectfully waited an extra five minutes because they were already so busy. It was a nightmare to watch them. They Only had spoons for utensils, there was only two people working. I got up to the register and gave them my name for the Togo order. They never took my order when I called it in. I was pissed off because i waited in this long line only to find out they never took my order. They were struggling to push out food and I waited and waited. I got there at 535 and did not leave until after 6. They made the food and yet it was a complete disaster. The fires were cold and soggy and after waiting a total of 55 minutes for a Togo order I was hoping for one saving grace and just did not find it here. The catfish was mediocre and tasted like it sat in oil but the one thing that managed to be good was the catfish tacos. Their Jambalaya looked like dog vomit and the rice was terribly overcooked. Basically mush. I told the staff that I had waited for a very long time and no one seemed to care so I dont care to return. I wish I could give this place a second chance but I would have to find my appetite first.

Fong’s on Forest – Menu with Prices – 3018 Forest Ave, Des Moines

Heard about this place the first time I visited Des Moines but wasn’t able to try it because they didn’t deliver or let you take-out whole pizzas after a certain hour. So when I ended up back in Des Moines for another visit this was a top priority of mine. Called in around 11pm for take-out and was happy to hear they were still taking orders. For two 16″ pizzas they said it would take about 30 minutes. When we finally got back to our place to try them out I was very excited. The pizzas are littered with crispy wontons and generously doused with a sweet chili sauce, which takes over your taste buds. In comparison, the crab rangoon base was more difficult to taste, which I found to be a little disappointing. Still good pizza, and definitely worth checking out. I’d be interested to try some of the other unique flavors, but I guess I’ll have to save that for my next trip to Des Moines.

Richmond Hotel and Tavern – Menu with Prices – 172 King St, London

I WARN YOU DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! At some point me and a friend needed a hotel to stay at so we decided to stay at the tavern. I wasnt sure who to talk to for a room so i asked the gentleman down stairs. He took our money for one weeks stay and gave each of us a room key. During the night i had to go to the washroom. It was small, dark a dismall, to my horror when looking into the waste basket nearest the toilet … USED SYRINGES IN PLAIN SIGHT! I ran from there to my room again… the nights sleep was ok aside from the music pounding my body… The next morning we woke up to some old man creep pounding at our door. Turns out this was the REAL hotel manager. He basically told us to get our shit and get out. We quickly gathered together our things but not before we went downstairs to confront the original man who turned out to be the bartender. He refused to give me back any of the money claiming that i was being stupid. We ran up to our now unlocked hotel room. My friend couldnt find her cell phone. I told her to look under the pillows and sure enough there it was. She knew she left it on the desk and i saw it there too. Once we retrieved the phone and hotel management caught eye of this he started getting more verbally violent. Shooing us out with swear words calling us name’s as we packed in a hurry When we finally escaped the establishment we ran and couldnt have run fast enough!!! I warn you! Dont drink here. Dont stay here and dont support this place The one night i tried was like a scene out of some horror movie!!keep safe!!!

Seoul Street – Menu with Prices – 19 Hammond, Irvine

This review is from my experience at the Norcal Night Market from this month. We picked out Seoul Street bc it looked like one of the few places where the portions were large enough to not feel entirely scammed paying the high prices typically charged at the night market. The line was also not as long in comparison to the other booths. When we got to the front, we placed our order and paid, and the man at the register said “You’re lucky number 100. Okay, come back in 45 minutes.” At first I thought he was joking and waited for a “just kidding”. In reality, he was actually serious. 45 minutes is an insane amount of time to wait for food from a tent in a food market. And even if it can’t be helped, you should’ve definitely told us BEFORE we paid so we could make the decision whether or not to wait the 45 minutes. What if we were almost done at the market had to leave soon? I was already tired and was planning to just grab my food and go. Alas, we were held hostage by that man and his shady business practice – baiting customers to pay before they realize they have to wait almost an hour for their food (not including the wait time in line to place an order). We returned to the booth an hour later and they still weren’t ready with our food. We had to wait a little longer before they finally finished. When we finally got our food, “not worth it” were the only words running through my head. I got the Volcano Ddeokbokki ($13), which was just drowning in overly sweet sauce. I know it’s usually made with gochujang, but I’ve never had gochujang this sweet. There was 0 heat to it as well. The dish was also lukewarm – the cheese on top wasn’t even melted. If this was just sitting out, why did it take so long to prepare? The pork belly fries ($13!) were also cold, and the pork belly was a sad excuse. They were overcooked and just felt like crispy pieces of thin leather. Overall, this was not worth the wait or the money. But what can you expect from the subpar offerings of the night market? It was my mistake not demanding my money back the minute the man expected me to stand around for more than 45 minutes for this disappointing, cold excuse for Korean food.

Rosati’s Pizza Menu with Prices 210 Doug Baker Blvd Suite 100, Birmingham

Our first experience with Rosati’s about a week ago, my daughter and I ordered a white pizza online at 5:26, estimated time to pick up was 25-30 minutes. We ran an errand next door at Hollywood Feed and then my daughter went in a few minutes before the 30 minute mark while I waited in the car with our dog. At 6:01 she got notification that the pizza was ready. When she let them know, she was told it would be ten more minutes. At 6:13 she still had no pizza. At nearly 50 minutes now, I am livid. I have to leave the dog in the car and go inside to trade places with my daughter who has anxiety and is about to have a panic attack. When I say, “forget the pizza, I just want my money back,” they have to get a manager. I wait. Two people answer phones and take orders from other customers…while I WAIT. They try to tell me my pizza is ready. I tell them I don’t want the pizza I want my money back. I’m told to lower my voice. I remind them that it’s been almost an HOUR now. Manager finally comes with pizza and tells me I can have it, and he will refund my money. I take the refund and leave the pizza. My phone says 6:24 when I get back to the car. If you want to open a new ANYTHING now days you need to be doing it better than everybody else, especially a pizza joint when there are literally five within a one mile radius. Also, I don’t need someone who is still in high school trying to tell me how to act when I have had ZERO customer service. I don’t care how good the food is, no one should have to wait an hour for one pizza. We wound up at Vocelli’s across the street. Shoulda gone there to begin with.

Austell Wings & More – Menu with Prices – 3687 Austell Rd SW, Marietta

Having heard this was Not the place to go after a while We decided to try it out. Delivery? “An hour & 1/2! The guy on the phone seemed to be daring me to say yes. Hungry we got 60$ in merchandise. It came sooner but the orders were not right, fries like rubber & grease. We ate except for one & I went to sleep feeling like concrete was inside me. The patti melt cooked unlike any I ever had caused me to be unable to leave my room & stay close to a bucket. Ijs. Upon calling the restaurant the Mgr. He attempted to over talk me; NOT. He was unconcerned & matter of fact. I asked for Owner they both had the same name hmmm. The owner seemed at the least concerned & said he would talk to him & get back to me. Muhammad I’m still waiting to tell how sick I was but you don’t care. So I had to tell you all of you. Beware they don’t care.

One Grub Community – Menu with Prices – 901 Arizona Ave, El Paso

What a cool place! A 100% vegan restaurant that also has a social mission of providing food to those who need it? Sign me up! Here’s how it works: all tips (and donations) go towards a “Pay it Forward” fund that enables them to enable folks in the community exchange an hour of work in the kitchen for food. It’s great to see restaurants that care about the well-being of non-human animals care about the well-being of the people in the community, too. On Wednesdays through Fridays, they’re open from 11 AM to 7 PM. I believe the menu changes fairly regularly, so if you’re an El Paso local you can visit lots of times and not get tired of the food! They’re located in a church basement, and you order at the counter. When I visited, I tried two different tacos and a “vegan ceviche” torta made from heart of palm, as well as a bowl of beans. This cost around $12 total (tacos are fairly small and are around $2.50 – $3; the bowl of beans was a lot bigger and was around $3.50) and was the perfect amount of food for a hungry person with a healthy appetite to eat while being able to finish everything and not feeling overstuffed. Please go out and support community restaurants like One Grub!

Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort – Menu with Prices – 505 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd, Fort Lauderdale

We arrived at this hotel earlier than check in time so we knew we were going to be waiting for a little bit (keep in mind this was about 11:30 am) we go up to the front desk to check and they say that the guests before us just left and that the hotel room would be ready as soon as it was cleaned (which takes about 30 minutes to a hour) keep in mind we have a suite and there is a main area and another separate bedroom area. So all 6 of us have been waiting in the little sitting area for about a hour and a half (1 pm) the rooms should be done by now since at most they could take a hour to clean. So we go to the front desk and ask if the room is ready, they say no it is still being cleaned. At that point we knew they were just lying to our faces. We waited a total of 4 hours and 30 minutes for them to clean a room that I alone could have cleaned in 30 minutes. We got into the room at about 4:30 pm and found out that we wasted our whole day in Fort Lauderdale waiting for this hotel room. When we got to the room there were only 3 towels, no extra blankets, pillows, or sheets for the fold out couch. The hotel staff is full of lies, making us think that it would just be another few minutes when really it was hours. Awful experience at this hotel, for a hotel that cost 560$ we only got the resort fee back for all that happened to us today which was 36$! And a free breakfast, donâ??t forget about the free breakfast. I would rate this hotel a -15 if I could. Lots of other waiting, calling, complaining, and overall problems happened that day with the hotel but were taken out of the story to make it shorter.
