We were in the area to go to Kings Plaza and did a detour to check this place out. Its really small so dont plan on sitting here for 1hr its pretty much in and out or a couple of stools.I had a cortado with almond milk and it tasted amazing and probably one of the best coffee drinks ive had.The barista/owner? tried to make it fancy but you cant do much with dairy alternatives.I would recommend if you’re around.

Kaffeehaus Café – Menu with Prices – 1022 Chestnut St, Pittsburgh

What can I say? The owner, Tammy is infectiously positive. She serves a great cup of joe and her specialty drinks are delicious. She is a neighbor as well, dwelling in my neighborhood just up the hill. That said I always enjoy supporting local business especially the closer to home is. She has her own parking lot off Street which is wonderful! She always smiles and laughs which makes for pleasant visit always. I can honestly say I’ve been there over a dozen times and never had bad experience. I usually go for a good cup of drip, or a triple small cappuccino. She does not charge extra for milk alternatives, or syrup believing that at all balance out in the end. This I commend her for and it does bring me back because of my love for almond milk as well as my partners love for milk Alternatives as well. I wholeheartedly support this place and wish you the best in the future one cup of the time for me and everybody else!

Rawmanticchocolate – Menu with Prices – 1053 1st Avenue, New York

This shop is clean, bright and lovely! FINALLY A DAIRY FREE COFFEE AND SNACK SHOP IN MIDTOWN! Coffee: if you’re going in for a coffee this place has oat milk, almond milk, and macadamia, which is super rare! I personally love the almond milk they carry – it’s way better quality than the generic stuff most coffee places serve to you. Bars: I love everything because they’re dairy free – so FINALLY I can have all the chocolate I want without fear. If I had to pick an all time favorite it would be the Carob flavor – really rich and unique! I highly recommend this place – it’s a bit out of the way on 1st avenue but so worth the trip if you’re nearby!

Firehouse Coffee – Menu with Prices – 2185 Cubit St, Eugene

I will start this off by stating that I have been a barista for 3 years so I can get picky about my coffee, but I’m genuinely disappointed in the service I received today. I get it, making q complicated drink can be annoying, especially when it’s blended, but the barista who served me was rude and rolled her eyes at my requests. I asked for a medium blended snickers with almond milk, and a mix of bold and smooth espresso. She charged me 50 cents more for asking for mixed shots, which is absolutely ridiculous. If someone were to come through my coffee shop and ask for half-calf (half decaf half full calf espresso shots) I’m certainly not going to make them pay extra unless they ask for an extra shot. I know that perhaps this isn’t the barista’s fault, but no where on the menu was I informed that I’d be charged more for asking for mixed shots. I feel as if she did it because she could. I also requested almond milk, because I am severely lactose intolerant. I took 3 sips before I was in agonizing pain for the better part of my 2 hour commute to Portland. My drink definitely contained dairy, which I understand as a barista is sometimes an honest accident and it can get mixed in somehow, but after how rude the barista was to me, I don’t feel like making a real excuse for her. I definitely will not return if I see her working. The other ladies have been incredibly kind, and always make my drink correctly, but this experience has turned me sour. The price for a medium blended snickers with almond milk and mixed shots was $6.50, which is nearly a large blended drink at Dutch Bros and is MORE than a venti frappe at Starbucks. I no longer recommend this shop.

balrog coffee – Menu with Prices – 1785 Palo Verde Ave Ste F, Long Beach

I had driven past this place several times and always wanted to stop in, i mean who can’t be drawn in by the name? The shop inside is lovely, and clean with great music, though I hear there is no restroom so be forewarned. The menu is concise and while there are many options to choose from, you don’t feel overwhelmed. Tons of non dairy options, so if you can’t do dairy there is still an option for you! The owner was who helped us, and he was kind and is obviously passionate about this shop. I ordered that Honey Latte, and my boyfriend got a Dirty Chai. Both were FANTASTIC! The way he blends the flavors of the coffee is just so tasty. The owner also let us try a sample of their Lavender Milk Tea, and the flavors almost dance on your tongue. Apparently they brew their base for their milk teas from loose leaf, and it truly tastes so much better than most other tea places. He is also in the works to make a Thai Tea from loose leaf as well! I will absolutely be returning to Balrog Coffee, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a tasty coffee place with a good atmosphere!

Sweetwaters Hahne Bldg – Menu with Prices – 52 Halsey St, Newark

Perfect shop for downtown Newark. Small, quaint and delicious coffee. And the staff are S U P E R accommodating and VERY nice. I usually get the Crème Caramel with almond milk until one of the SUPER DUPER nice baristas (I don’t know her name but will update when I find out) suggested I try the oat milk. It must be popular because when I ordered it recently, they were out of oat milk. I jokingly offered to buy them some oat milk from the Whole Foods next door in the Hanhe building. Instead, it was made with the almond milk. And the same barista suggested the organic agave to sweeten it up a little with a piece of the coffee cake. Hot perfection after the perfect workout at Planet Fitness. I can’t wait until my workout is complete tomorrow for some oat milk PERFECTION! And that awesome barista.

Seattle Espresso Inc – Menu with Prices – 1840 E Warner Rd # 136, Tempe

The entire experience was great!! The gentleman making the drinks was working at a very fast, but very precise pace when I entered. Was very nice when he greeted me. When he took my order, he confirmed it with me before making it. I ordered a coffee made with soy. For the first time ever, I was asked if I ordered soy because of an allergy. For me, this was a blessing, most people dont ask and I have a severe allergy to milk. I thanked him for it. He immediately moved all the dairy products away from where he was working on my coffee and told me he wanted to make sure I wouldn’t have a bad day after having coffee from there. He made the coffee very quickly and it was delicious!! This place deserves all the stars it could possibly get!

Apricot Coffee House – Menu with Prices – 3138 Losantiville Ave, Cincinnati

I was so excited for this to open! Pleasant ridge doesn’t have a large coffee shop presence like Oakley and Hyde Park. Actually, I think at this time, it’s the only coffee shop. And it’s a pretty good one at that. I love that they have all different styles of coffee there. Their vanilla syrup is made in house (not sure about others), and I love it because it isn’t overly sweet. They offer a ton of milk alternatives if you need them, including oat milk (if you haven’t tried…you must! Super creamy.) I plan on exploring the menu more but I’ve had a latte and drip coffee. Would love to see an iced coffee. I don’t think the cold brew has been working out for them. The owners are really great, from what I could tell. Im happy to support their business, and can’t wait to see this coffee shop grow over the next few years! Parking: can be difficult…if the bank is closed, you could park there but I wouldn’t advise it during their operating hours. Street parking available but not always open.

World Traveler Coffee Roasters – Menu with Prices – 106 N Sunrise Ave St C7, Roseville

This is my second time here and I have to say that my coffee has tasted amazing both times. This location is only open on the weekdays though and I work full time and live in Sacramento, so don’t get to come too frequently. I was told that they are opening up a second location in Folsom though that will be open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. every day including weekends. The chocolate they use in their mocha is non-dairy and they have oat milk available which is awesome. I’ve had both an iced mocha with oat milk and an iced blackberry mocha with oat milk and both were delicious. The pastries aren’t meant for people who don’t consume eggs and dairy though, so I have always passed on those. I have been the only customer both times I’ve gone, so they must be making money other ways than just through their cafe. The interior is small, but there are two tables that fit four people each out on the patio. I’m hanging out on the patio right now enjoying my iced coffee. If you know what good coffee tastes like then you will for sure like the taste of the coffee here.

Eiland Coffee Roasters – Menu with Prices – 532 N Interurban St, Richardson

After reading all of those positive reviews I went to go check this place out with my friend… We were so excited honestly we thought we were gonna try one of the best coffees in Dallas. Instead, we tried the worst coffees we’ve ever had. I have no idea what we were given. I ordered an iced caramel latte and spent almost $5 on it – and it tasted like diluted coffee and diluted milk! My friend got an iced mocha and maybe it was intentional but there was powder blocks on the bottom and every time she took a sip she’d get chunks of mocha powder. I tried it too and I had the same CHUNKS of powder. If that was intentional why don’t they let it be known? TBH the barista boy probably forgot to mix the mocha and espresso- which is like step 1. Ugh I’m seriously so disappointed since this place is right by my house and it tasted like nasty water. They also don’t even have like cut ice. It looked like they broke a block of ice and gave you whatever shapes came out of it. It just wasn’t pleasant at all. Also we noticed the barista take out this “chocolate milk” looking jug out of the fridge and put it in my friends mocha. Also I don’t even know what milk they used cuz it was in this big jug and who knows how long it’s been in there. Needless to say…will never go back here. Don’t recommend this place at all. I wish I had a good experience but damn… maybe it was a bad day? Maybe it was an inexperienced barista? Maybe I’m just tryna make excuses since I read so many good reviews about this place and it ended being underwhelming? I heard their coffee beans are good to buy and people like them. But if they used their own coffee beans to make my simple latte…no thank you.

The People’s Perk – Menu with Prices – 551 S Mendenhall St, Greensboro

Absolutely in love with this little coffee shop. The ladies who work here are so friendly and inviting, and the store is adorable with free wifi. Fresh baked donuts on Monday’s from donut world paired with iced and hot coffee on the regular. They also offer specialty drinks- which are freaking killer. But what gets me is the large 20oz iced coffee for $2.12 after tax. The coffee is delicious and that’s a killer deal. They offer almond milk and soy milk for the non dairy drinkers. This is my go-to coffee shop in the boro.

Theory Coffeehouse & Juicery – Menu with Prices – 2209 SW 104th St Suite L, Oklahoma City

I was super excited to have another coffee place south Oklahoma City but was kind of disappointed. I would give it a 3.5 at the moment. Not sure if we’re supposed to clean up after ourselves and put the cups away, like Panera or there wasn’t enough staffing to clean the table (at the time). With new coffee places I normally get a cappuccino, so I know what the just of it. It was good, the presentation was not. She handed me my cup with spilled coffee on the plate & I’m not talking about a few drops. I’m thankful that coffee places offer non-dairy milk for lactose intolerance people but still…$1 for milk substitution is a bit high. Lovely owner though!

Martin City Coffee – Menu with Prices – 13115 Holmes Rd, Kansas City

This place has been open less than a year and they are so well run that you wouldn’t believe it. It is huge inside with seating options outside in front of the cafe and behind. Behind the cafe is covered so you can be outside even in the rain. The downside is that it is right next to the drive thru speaker. The cafe is spotless and comfortable. The service is above exceptional. We chatted with both the cashier and barista. The barista also ran the drive thru and never once did he seem frazzled. First the food, they have so many hot options as well as local pastries. They have Keto, gluten free and vegetarian options. Protein balls may be vegan, but please inquire. We had the breakfast burritos. Many reviews and the cashier stated that ordering 2 was best so we did that and quickly realized one was plenty. I would stick with one and order a second if you still want it. They are made fresh so you can customize. They are also made with homemade tortillas that are what makes the whole burrito, they are a little on the thick side but almost melt in your mouth. The salsa is spicy, we loved it. The coffee is Intelligentsia from Chicago, my first time having it and wow it is smooth. I had a cafe au lait and my husband had the cold brew, both were perfect. The offer all the dairy alternatives as well. This has officially made our regular monthly rotation of coffee spots.
