Wow, let me just say disappointment will NOT HAPPEN here. This food is AMAZING, and amazing is an understatement. When I walked I was a little skeptical, but then I got my food and was blown away. I never write google reviews unless it made an impact on me. The salad was DELICIOUS, and the lemon pepper wings OMG!! The owner is very sweet, his hospitality is impeccable. This place is like a hole in the wall, right now theres not really much for seating but there are plans in the future to have seating. If you’re hungry and staying in the hotel close by you need to try this place out. We will most DEFINITELY come back and check it out. Prices are fantastic for what you are getting. Go check them out, what are you waiting for!!

Ria’s Bistro & Bakery Menu with Prices 113 State St, Albany

A cute little place that is about as “hole in the wall” as you can get. My lunch plans fell through so I came here to explore. It was a hot summer day and inside was only slightly better. There was seating for a dozen or so people, and another amount of the same waiting around. A few had a place their orders, but most were waiting for their’s. I ordered the “Assembly” sandwich which consisted of “Fresh Buffalo mozzarella, romaine, tomatoes with homemade basil pesto aioli on French baguette.” I added grilled chicken, and with four cookies (for my coworkers… honest!) and a big of chips it only came to $13 and change. It was pleasantly large, though not as big as a foot-long from the sub place. It was much better. It wasn’t the easiest sandwich to eat but it was very tasty. I had to wait $12 for my food and they have a sign warning of the wait. They make everything to order, and I don’t know if that means grill the chicken too upon order. It was stuffy inside, and the radio speakers struggled during my visit. Perhaps because it was in a basement, or maybe a loose wire, but it kept putting out static. I dealt with it while I was there, but no one should have to listen to the Eagles and Van Halen on a regular basis in that environment. Maybe a CD player? A cute place overall, and I will tell my coworkers all about it.

Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort – Menu with Prices – 505 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd, Fort Lauderdale

We arrived at this hotel earlier than check in time so we knew we were going to be waiting for a little bit (keep in mind this was about 11:30 am) we go up to the front desk to check and they say that the guests before us just left and that the hotel room would be ready as soon as it was cleaned (which takes about 30 minutes to a hour) keep in mind we have a suite and there is a main area and another separate bedroom area. So all 6 of us have been waiting in the little sitting area for about a hour and a half (1 pm) the rooms should be done by now since at most they could take a hour to clean. So we go to the front desk and ask if the room is ready, they say no it is still being cleaned. At that point we knew they were just lying to our faces. We waited a total of 4 hours and 30 minutes for them to clean a room that I alone could have cleaned in 30 minutes. We got into the room at about 4:30 pm and found out that we wasted our whole day in Fort Lauderdale waiting for this hotel room. When we got to the room there were only 3 towels, no extra blankets, pillows, or sheets for the fold out couch. The hotel staff is full of lies, making us think that it would just be another few minutes when really it was hours. Awful experience at this hotel, for a hotel that cost 560$ we only got the resort fee back for all that happened to us today which was 36$! And a free breakfast, donâ??t forget about the free breakfast. I would rate this hotel a -15 if I could. Lots of other waiting, calling, complaining, and overall problems happened that day with the hotel but were taken out of the story to make it shorter.

O’Connell’s Irish Pub – Menu with Prices – 42 Drayton St, Savannah

We found this hole in the wall just a block and a half from our hotel, and we had a GREAT time! It was a Tuesday evening in the summer, so there were just a few of us at the bar. The bartender was fantastic. I am normally a scotch drinker, so I asked for some recommendations on some Irish whiskey. He obliged, and I tried a few of them. Another patron introduced us to pickle backs, so we tried those as well. (FYI, I think they are over rated. We are whiskey sippers, not shot drinkers, but to each his or her own!) We met another couple, also from out of town, and they were very friendly. Very friendly place, GREAT service, and a huge selection of Irish whiskies. What’s not to like?!?

Mr Peralta Mariscos – Menu with Prices – 3900 Osage St, Denver

Here it is: 1. The food was stupid good. The specials are expensive which makes them intimidating. But it is a massive amount of food and amazingly good so I recommend you do it. When I say a lot of food, if it’s $25 and serves one…it really serves two big eaters. Anything that says it serves 2 really serves 4. 2. It’s a hole in the wall. And it’s local and family owned. 3. The prices are SURPRISINGLY high for a joke in the wall. Don’t worry. See point #1. I can’t tell you how good the dish I got was. I don’t remember the name but it was a cast iron hot pot with the name deluxe in it. Amazing food.

Noticed a few weeks ago that this little “hole in the wall” place was open. Last night my wife and I went for the first time and upon our experience, it will not be the last. Once we stepped inside we were greeted by a very nice and pleasant hostess. The place was much more roomier than I imagined. And it certainly is no “hole in the wall” establishment. Inside seating was really nice and comfortable but we decided to sit on the patio. Our server (Bobbi D) was very nice and knew the specials and menu well and upon taking our drink orders she suggested the meatballs for an appetizer and what a great suggestion it was. They were delicious and the plentiful marinara sauce that accompanied them is the best I’ve had in any Italian restaurant in town. Along with our appetizer we ordered the fungi pizza and we split the verde salad. The pizza was delicious and with no complaints about the crust. Between the drinks, meatballs and pizza we were unable to even try the salad but we brought it home and we highly recommend it. I think this little “hole in the wall” establishment will easily become a hidden gem of a place to go. This place is definitely going to be the place I recommend to anyone looking to have that first date or anniversary. It’s that nice.

Carniceria Market Latina – Menu with Prices – 24743 Railroad Ave, Santa Clarita

Hole-in-the-wall place (see my pic of the literal hole in the parking lot wall), but friendly vibe. I stopped by here for their carne asada burrito. My clueless gringo-ness got the immediate attention of the lady owner, and she directed me to the grill area, where a young Latina (as in the name!) cooked me a slapdash burrito in five minutes flat. The shock and awe: $3.99! The burrito was spicier than anticipated, but then I doubt this place’s (assumed) exclusively Latino clientele often frequents Baja Fresh. Not amazing, but tasty for a Mexican greasy spoon.

New Leaf Café – Menu with Prices – 4035 Ridge Top Rd, Fairfax

Fantastic food and drinks, and excellent service. I miss coming here as often as I used to. There are amazing choices for all times of the day, plus perfect snacks if you’re in a rush. High quality everything, impeccable setting..what more could you ask for?! I highly recommend. It’s all so great!!!

Tasty Thai Campus – Menu with Prices – 1308 Hilyard St, Eugene

We were staying in a hotel nearby and looking for a place to eat within walking distanceâ??we like Thai food, so this place caught my eye. It’s kind of a hole-in-the-wall that caters more toward takeout, but there’s still seating available and the space has a cute atmosphere. I often order khao pad at my favorite Thai restaurant at home, so I ordered it here as well. First of all, the dinner portion was MASSIVE so I had plenty of leftovers to look forward to. Secondly, the recipe was slightly different than what I’m used to, with a few different ingredients that made the dish unique compared to what I normally get. It was very tasty and I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Thai spot in Eugene.

Cantu’s Tacos – Menu with Prices – 320 Corpus Christi St, Laredo

Omg this place is amazing. A little hole in the wall taco joint bursting with flavor and AMAZING service. My friends got al pastor on corn and asada on flour and I got a desebrada on corn, chicharron on corn, and tripe on corn. All of them were fantastic-loaded with meat, onions, tomatoes, and avocado served with a wonder verde hot sauce and delicious beans. The chicharron was super fresh and very flavorful, the tripe was amazing and tender but not oily, the desebrada was perfect. And the corn tortillas were crispy and wonderful. Highly highly recommend!!!!!

Shish Kabob Cafe – Menu with Prices – 1498 W Spring Valley Rd, Richardson

I love this restaurant it’s one of those hole in the wall greatness, very satisfy with the food. 5 star for the food! Atmosphere: (4/5) * Hole in the wall type of place almost always guaranteed the authenticity of the food. Their wall arts are nice but the windows looked like they’d been shot at lol Food: (5/5) * Very delicious and authentic(in my opinion) you can see their kitchen so you know exactly how the food is prepared. I like the kabob meat comes directly from that meat tower that they broil to perfection Staff: (4/5) * Pretty much only one front of the house staff but not a problem Cleanliness: (3/5) * not so bad Good hang out spot: YES!

Slam’s All American Bar-Grill – Menu with Prices – 892 Broad St, Newark

This restaurant/bar and grill have been many things over the past decades. The most recent iteration seems to be a success. The soup is fantastic, the taco salad perfect. They have a very popular all-you-can-eat fish and shrimp fry on Fridays. I was staying for the week at the attached hotel and am originally from the area. Low prices on plentiful well-prepared food, great service, along with beer on tap will have me coming back on future trips. Myonly critique is the place is very dated. Who has carpet anymore? And the ceiling panels need replacement. I know the economy is down, but put some money in appearance.

LeTap Inn JFK Airport – Menu with Prices – 139-01 Archer Ave, Jamaica

I have to be going to this hotel for months now. When I first got here, the staff were wonderful and helpful and respectful. The pricing was reasonable and accommodating. After a two months ago, the hotel received new staffs . Ever since the new staffs, the hotel in my opinion has been in shambles. The front desk staff tries to scam people out of their money especially black people and especially black females. They disclosed your information to other residents(pimps)in the hotel. The rooms are dirty now. The housekeeping as well has changed,itâ??s not the same housekeeping as before. There are roaches and bed bugs in these rooms now.Donâ??t get me wrong, this is one of the best hotels on Jamaica Avenue compared to others in the area. The area and the location is great such as traveling shopping and sightseeing. Overall itâ??s a shame, but have to move onto a new hotel because this hotel is becoming into a hell hole!
