2 days in a row I have ordered delivery from here that’s how impressed i am. So, I’ll start with the price..truly cannot be beat! My mom and I ordered 2 small dishes and an appetizer for 21 dollars! We were hooked because it was delicious and delivered not even kidding in 10 min. The next day, we had family over and decided to order from here again and a meal which is usually $90 was $50 and beyond delicious!! Of course this time we ordered large dishes and The beef lo mein, And crab Rangoon are just a few of my favorites! The small portions maybe too small for some people so i would look at my picture so you can judge for yourself. Medium and large portions are great too!

Thanh Huong Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 534 Sargent Ave, Winnipeg

Been eating here for years…it feels like it’s under the radar a little bit as everyone seems to know more about Viva (on the same street). But they’ve been around for a long time and their food is legit – great flavour, generous portions and decent prices. At first glance, their prices seem higher than other places but they offer larger portions so it all works out. I’ve always stuck with the Vietnamese dishes here but there are the tons of other stir fried dishes that I have never tried. Their vermicelli (bun) bowls are great all around $9-$12. I like #33 which has egg rolls, grilled pork and grilled ground pork with the veggies and vermicelli ($9). I always get #11 which is the pho tai – medium rare beef slices in the pho ($8) – big bowl filled with lots of thin vermicelli that have that perfect consistency and lots of beef. Hands down the most generous beef portions in the city. And of course the pho comes with the plate of veggies – bean sprouts, lime and thai basil but no chilies. The soup is delicious though it is a more oily that I prefer but great balance of flavours. I love ice coffee ($4.50) but I don’t love their version as much. A little too much condensed milk which made it really sweet and the coffee isn’t as flavourful. Food service is extremely fast and lunch isn’t packed so you can eat your meal fairly quickly. They are probably one of the hardest working Vietnamese restaurants out there as they are open DAILY. Many Vietnamese restaurants are either closed on Tues or Wed so this is a great option and there’s always plenty of parking on Sargent Ave. M-F: 11am-10 pm Sat: 11:30 am-10 pm Sun & Holidays: 11:30 am -9 pm No delivery available. They take debit and credit as well.

Manpuku Tokyo BBQ Dining – Menu with Prices – 1870 W Carson St, Torrance

Dining here was my first time trying Japanese bbq and I was very satisfied! My boyfriend and I came around 7:30pm on a Saturday and we were seated immediately. We ordered: the selected special wagyu chuck flap ($15/each “flap”), prime short rib kalbi (14.50), kobe rib eye (32.5), beef tataki (13.50), and one of the signature beef tongue dishes (I don’t remember which one because they were out of the one that we originally ordered), and garlic rice (8.00). The selected special wagyu chuck flap was my favorite. It is super thin slice of beef, about 6 inches long. They prep the grill with a piece of fat and then grill the flaps for you. Then, they prepare a raw egg dip for the dish. After its done cooking, they use the meat to wrap around a tiny ball of rice (about the size of a ping-pong ball) and dip it in the egg sauce they made. Super tender and flavorful. The kobe rib eye and prime short rib were also both amazing. These ones you grill yourself so you can have it however you like (rare, medium, etc.). We had most of our slices medium, but we did try cooking each type at different levels. We concluded that they tasted best medium/medium rare. Both these dishes were also very soft, full of flavor, and easy to eat. The beef tataki and beef tongue didn’t quite make it to my favorites list. The beef tataki comes with 6-8 slices of rib eye with marinated onions and white dashi. The onions and dashi were the perfect sides for it, but the beef was just too chewy. I was chewing for minutes and it would not budge – I just had to give up and swallow the entire thing. The beef tongue was not as chewy as the tataki (thank goodness) but still more chewy than the previous dishes. The slices of beef tongue are topped with garlic and green onions which provided a really nice flavor to it, but I just prefer my beef softer. The garlic rice was great! It comes in a stone pot and you can either serve it immediately if you like softer rice or wait a white for it to get crispier in the stone pot. I like crispy rice so I let it sit for a while before serving it. There is enough for maybe 2-3 people. I definitely recommend getting the rice! It is super flavorful – I’ve never had garlic rice taste that garlic-y before. Overall, my first experience trying JBBQ was great! It is a little pricey (our bill was a little over $100) so it’s won’t be a common meal for me, but I will definitely be back in the future!

Sahara Mediterranean Cuisine Menu with Prices 5661 Hamilton Blvd #3, Allentown

My wife and I ate here for the first time, and had a great experience. The servers were very helpful and personable, as well as welcoming when we walked in. We ordered the appetizer sampler (fried cauliflower, chicken shawarma, hummus, and grape leaves), which tasted fresh, very warm, and had large portions. Our entrees also came with large portions and freshly cooked food. My wife had the chicken kabob platter, while I got the beef and lamb kabob platter. Both came with a generous portion of hummus and pita bread (which was brought out first to us), a salad, grilled vegetables, and rice. This was definitely an awesome find! Very nice people, quality authentic food, and large portions for a reasonable price!

Pho Lee Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 1030 Adelaide St N #8c, London

Pho Lee was recommended to me by a friend who goes to western university. I’m happy she told me about this place as it was delicious. With a mixture of both Vietnamese and Thai food (our favourites) my girlfriend and I decided to give it a try. I ordered the the Beef Pho with rare beef, tendon and beef meatballs. My girlfriend ordered the vegetable stir fry pad sew (thin, wide noodles) and we both shared an order of the vegetarian cold rolls to start. Everything was delicious, the portions were great and the meal also came with complementary tea. This was a great little touch as it was an enjoyable addition to the overall experience. The pho broth was deep and rich. The bone broth was incredibly clean, cologne rich, and nutrient packed. You can tell it was properly stewed for hours on end, achieving that clean yet bold beef flavour. The Noodles were tender and as always, the pho is served with a variety of sides which allow you to customize your broth to your liking. My girlfriend also loved her meal, it was smokey and had great flavour. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and the sauce within the dish was delicious. The cold rolls are always a great starter. Served along side a peanut dipping sauce, these tightly rolled tender rolls did not disappoint. Overall the food was great, portions were on point and menu is reasonably priced. HOWEVER, we were not served any water throughout the whole meal. Unfortunately, once our food came, we basically did not see our waiter until we finished our meal and asked for the bill. Service definitely could have been more attentive but all and all, the pros outweighed the cons. Our meal came out to about $32.00 for two people which is incredibly reasonable. Definitely a great little spot, fast service and delicious food! Pho Lee is only a 10 minute drive from the university and I will for-sure return next time I am in and around the London area!

M & M Sandwich Shop – Menu with Prices – 2602 N Armenia Ave, Tampa

I usually wait to write a review, but I was sold after my first trip today. I ordered a hot roast beef (open face) platter with fries and slaw, and a crab cake platter with mac & cheese. Both platters were delicious – the roast beef sandwich featured very tender shredded roast beef, and delicious sweet bread. The crab cakes were extrodinary, and moderately sized for the price. Might I add the mac & cheese had me over the moon as well. All of M & M’s pricing is extremely fair

NaRai Siam Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 120 E Cheyenne Mountain Blvd, Colorado Springs

We ordered take out from this restaurant. The first thing we noticed was the price of all the dishes were quite high compared to most Thai restaurants. We figured that the food must be good and perhaps the quantities would be larger. We sure were wrong. The food was mediocre and the quantity was small considering the prices we paid for each dish.We started with Chicken satay which was overcooked and dry.For the main course we ordered Shrimp Panang Curry. For a $16 dish there was hardly any shrimp (maybe five pieces). We also ordered one of the more expensive dishes ‘Lemongrass Beef Short Ribs’ which was $24. The dish was not bad tasting but for the price the quantity was very disappointing. Normally we spend about $30 for similar dishes for two people. Our bill was about $55 and we expected a lot more and were disappointed. We could have gone to a nice sit-down restaurant and had a much better meal for this price than the takeout we received. If you know Thai food, I would stay away from this overpriced restaurant with their small portions and skimping on meat and seafood in their dishes. I don’t mind paying more for a meal, but I expect to receive more either in quality, taste, or portion size. My advice is to try somewhere else. Maybe this review will cause others to post their similar experience with this restaurant.

Coastal Crab Company – Menu with Prices – 2911 S Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne

My family and I headed over to the Coastal Crab Company last night as we were trying to work our way through our Melbourne Yelp list. This was the closest and seafood sounded great. The building was small and we almost weren’t sure we were in the right place, but the inside is welcoming with a few tables and cute decor. The service was top notch from the second we came in until we left. They continuously checked on us as we ate to make sure everything was up to par and even helped another table who was unsure on how to eat a crab he had not tried before. My son, who is 22 months old, is rough in a restaurant at this age. Impossible to sit still, every question has to be shouted, and takes hanger to a new level. The staff were unfazed by him and continued to talk to him. The best part was when they brought out a live blue crab for him to see. He was mesmerized. It was really nice to see as a parent. So on to the food! I ordered a 1.25 lb snow crab boil and my husband had the blue crab boil. We ordered a side of rice and shrimp to go with it. It was more than enough food and tasted so fresh. Not sure if this is true, but I always judge the freshness of crab based on how easily the meat pulls out of the shell. This crab did not disappoint as all the meat came out in perfect lengths. Overall, a really great experience and I can’t wait to go back!

Kaku’s Sushi & Seafood Buffet – Menu with Prices – 2330 Kalakaua Ave Suite 326, Honolulu

If you liked Makino Chaya then you’d definitely like this place. It’s located in the 3rd floor of international marketplace where Yuatcha used to be. They have indoor and outdoor seatings and you can make reservations online on open table for one of two seatings – 530 or 730 with a 90 min dining time limit. You can definitely get your fill for $35 kamaaina rate which is not bad considering this buffet has crab, made to order steak, baked oysters and sushi rolls. They have a variety of hot items which I think was a good assortment of Asian types of food dishes like orange chicken, beef sukiyaki, tempura, and fried rice. Their sushi bar consists of mostly rolls and nigiri and the only problem I had with this is the flying buggies that was only near the sushi items and the people dining that reused the same plates when they grabbed seconds *barf* they also had a ramen station which we didn’t try (it’s too hot for that) and a little window for desserts which was only crepes. Service was minimal but friendly enough. I noticed that they don’t buss tables as often as they should and those people on smaller tables had piles of dishes in the way. Oh yes. Since the crab is out on the line it is a free for all and you will come across some people that will take all of the crab legs. Honestly! I’m so proud of myself I did like 3 runs! Woot woot! But all in honesty – food is average and don’t expect much for quality items but you’ll definitely want a wheelbarrow to roll out in after your meal is over.

G’s Homestyle Cooking – Menu with Prices – 9508 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica

I ordered food here through UberEats and was not disappointed. The Jerk Chicken was on point, succulent, well seasoned and delicious. The peas and rice was very moist and tasty as well. Even though I ordered the “mini” lunch special and expected a very small meal, the portions were very generous! There was even food left over for dinner. The sweet plantains were indeed sweet and the chicken and beef patty were perfectly spicy and exceedingly tasty. I wish I had time to take a picture of the food but once you dig in, you can’t stop! I consider myself a Jerk chicken connoisseur and they rank very high in my book. A definite recommendation.

Crab Fever Nashville – Menu with Prices – 1907 West End Ave, Nashville

I was craving crab legs so bad so i looked at a lot of reviews for crab boil/steam pot style restaurants and found Crab Fever to have amazing reviews…..so we headed there on a Friday night. The atmosphere is adorable, very nautical, the service was excellant, which is why I hate to give it an average review. My son ordered the Lobster cajun pasta, the lobster was very rubbery and the sauce was too overwhelming but it was a nice size portion, warning – the lobster comes in the shell…….I ordered a crab boil, it had snow or dungeness crab and Alaskan King Crab, i ordered that more expensive one because I wanted the King Crab, unfortunately it was such a horrible texture and taste, the worst I’ve ever had…..the other crab was delicious and perfect! The mussels or oysters, i forget which one it had were abnormally large and rubbery and did not taste good….the clams were great and i didn’t eat the crawfish because i don’t like the looks of it and since i am from ny I did not grow up eating it and I cant get into it……they pour the whole bag on the table, I asked them to keep mine in the bag afraid it would be to messy…..we did have the fried calamari as an app and i can tell you it was the best i have ever had…..so this place is hit or miss…..i feel like the quality of the seafood is subpar and that is what makes it just an average meal….i have had better shellfish at Joe’s Crab Shack……our bill was $100 and that is too much to pay if the food is not awesome, hopefully they can invest in better quality shellfish and improve the quality because this place has potential!!

Chuck’s Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 3610 6th Ave, Des Moines

Used to go here with my parents as a special treat back in the early 2000’s and remember the food being great. Had a kid free evening with the wife and decided to make a visit for the first time in many years. Our server was great, and was tipped well. Dinner unfortunately left a lot to be desired. My wife had the cavatelli which lacked flavor, just very plain. I ordered the New York strip, which had portions that were medium well, and then portions that were medium rare as ordered, as if the grill they used wasn’t distributing heat evenly. The loaded baked potato was good. The wife and I agreed that the pizza at the table next to us looked like a much better option if we ever give it another try.

The B’s Kitchen Vietnamese & Asian Cuisine Menu with Prices 1811 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin

The owner is so kind and courteous, that’s what made the largest lasting impression. The meat and just entire size of these sandwiches is CRAZY generous. I usually would have 2 bahn mis, here I j just need the one. The owner PACKS it with meat — like I’ve never seen that much meat in a bahn mi, but oh my God it works. The bread sings at this place. It’s golden, crunchy, flaky, just perfect. This was all so good that I honestly don’t think I properly chewed my food, and I definitely didn’t have time to take a picture. I really regret not taking a picture for y’all because it was truly masterfully beautiful. The beef bahn mi wasn’t as good as the chicken, in my opinion, but my husband had the exact opposite opinion — so just go ahead and get both. You get an unbelievably great meal, for an unbelievable price, with unbelievably generous portions. Go, eat, and be nice to the kind older man that owns this place. Some places you can just tell people put their heart into.
