Had no expectations going into this new spot and I was pleasantly surprised by how cool it is! Literally a bike shop and coffee shop mixed into to one awesome place! Greeted right away by the southern belle barista and found out that the coffee shop is not messing around when it comes to there coffee. Felt like the barista was quite knowledgable about the variety of coffees offered here. Lots of seating for a group of friends to get together also couple of outside tables. My coffee was excellent and service was superior! Highly recommend and I will return sooner than later! Don’t hesitate to visit this cool coffee shop

Restoration Cafe – Menu with Prices – 38 N Fort Harrison Ave, Clearwater

This is a pleasant little coffee shop that is affiliated with Clearwater’s Restoration Church. There is little religious imagery and the vibe is similar to many small town coffee shops I’ve been to. The atmosphere is relaxed, appropriate for families, and not at all hipster. There were the usual folks on laptops at tables you’d expect from an independent coffee shop. The drip Kenya we had was excellent and sourced from Hemisphere Coffee Roasters out of Ohio. The barista was very knowledgeable about the coffee, the sourcing, and made a fresh pot just for my friend and me. The only note to consider is that there wasn’t any food available. Other than that, this is a place I can easily recommend for a quality cup o’ Joe.

Downshift – Coffee, Bikes, Beer – Menu with Prices – 416 Campbell Ave SW #102, Roanoke

Best bike shop around, hands down. In the past, I’ve dreaded going to bike shops. The culture can be pretentious and judgmental if you’re not an expert but Downshift completely revolutionizes the bike shop culture. For starters, the shop is just cool. It’s an inviting, open space with lots of places to sit and sip on delectable coffee (highly recommend the peanut butter coffee), or a great beer or have some delicious food while the bike mechanics work their magic. Everyone that works there is so nice that you want to stay and hang out. They also have a cute rooftop patio where you can bring your beer/coffee/food and enjoy the surrounding views. Downshift also offers group rides each week and really want people to learn about biking! They make it so friendly and inviting! Can’t get enough of this place.

Enderly Coffee Company – Menu with Prices – 2620 Tuckaseegee Rd, Charlotte

Doing more than great coffee makes this place great in my eyes. Take a second to go to the website and read about the excellent community work they are doing in the area. I’ve visited Enderly Coffee company on my way through Charlotte onto South Carolina. I picked this coffee place because the website says they are barista and roaster our specialty coffee association certified. I ordered a cortada and compared to other Cortada as I’ve had that specialty coffee places around the country the cortado here is as good as it gets. The milk was silky and the espresso was balanced, sweet, and had just the right amount of richness. The barista was super nice, friendly, and engaging. You can tell he loved his job and put his heart into his work and giving the customer a good experience. Enderly and I was a variety of whole bean coffee and equipment to brew your coffee at home. The atmosphere was upbeat and suitable for most occasions. With the extra patio space there will always be plenty of room for your group of friends, family, or a date. Families with kids and strollers can find lots of room and toys to keep your little ones busy.

Marine Park Coffee – Menu with Prices – 3602-B Quentin Rd, Brooklyn

We were in the area to go to Kings Plaza and did a detour to check this place out. Its really small so dont plan on sitting here for 1hr its pretty much in and out or a couple of stools.I had a cortado with almond milk and it tasted amazing and probably one of the best coffee drinks ive had.The barista/owner? tried to make it fancy but you cant do much with dairy alternatives.I would recommend if you’re around.

Spokes Coffee|Cafe|Cyclery – Menu with Prices – 929 Walnut St, Kansas City

I used to be a frequenter of the old Scooters here on Walnut but one day I walked in and my whole world changed. First I was like.. what on earth.. is this a bike shop, a restaurant or a coffee place… is this the twilight zone?! Then I soon realized – it was all three. Which is nuts. BUT.. It’s different! And I liked different. It was a slow ass day here in Downtown and I was the only person in the shop at the time besides the Barista so I stopped by and just looked around and got to know the place a bit. I ordered a coffee, made some jokes and obscure puns with the cool barista and we immediately became friends. She is now my go-to coffee girl. I would do a name drop but I’m very selfish and want to keep her to myself because she is mine and if she became everyone’s friend then I wouldn’t be so special. This espresso bean is so smooth, you don’t even need anything to sweeten up where as a lot of other beans you need to add something to make it palatable. I’ve come here at least a dozen time since it’s opened up but now I’m excited to see they have a yelp started as well as a punch-out card for all coffee glory. Also – did you know they serve wine? YEA. IT’S ALSO A BAR. Spokes is my new best friend. If you see a crazy tatted up lady wearing yoga pants outside hugging the building outside in the rain – it’s me. 10/10 would coffee really hard here again.

Foster Street Coffee – Menu with Prices – 530 Foster St #2, Durham

I visited Foster Street Coffee a couple of times, during lunch time. When you walk in, the coffee shop is open and welcoming. The coffee bar is a few steps away from the door and each time, a smiling barista was waiting to take my order. The coffee shop is bigger than what it looks like from the street. Inside are cozy tables up front of the large window overlooking the street and then a few oversized armchairs that looked very soft (haven’t tested them out yet!) A little further back were some longer tables that looked like they were good for working on the laptop and sipping on your coffee. There was also a conference room with a large table and a TV for more organized meetings. I was impressed because this coffee shop could be a very convenient place to meet at if your organization is located in Downtown Durham. The menu board is simple, clean and elegant. They carry everything you’d expect from a coffee shop. I decided to try a coffee frappe, which is ice cream, coffee and vanilla. It wasn’t overly sweet at all. The coffee flavor came through strong, so it’s not quite like a milkshake. Maybe not good for a kid. It was tasty and I finished it all easily. I think I’ll experiment with the syrup flavors in the future. For my second visit, I tried a vanilla chai latte. I must admit that Starbucks is my standard for a vanilla chai latte. I find they have the best taste to me. I’ve tried a lot vanilla chais in other coffee shops and they never quite compare to Starbucks. But Foster Street surprised me. Their vanilla chai was light but sweet, creamy, slightly spicy and the froth on top was perfect. There was a lot of it. I was impressed with the first sip. It’s just as good as Starbucks chai, for sure. I will definitely make that drink a staple for next time I visit Foster. Each time, the barista brought the drink out directly to me and I thought that was so sweet. I’m happy to have a great local coffee shop in the area.

Porto Rico Importing – Menu with Prices – 201 Bleecker St, New York

I would have give this coffee shop 5 stars. They put 4 express shot in my $4 ice latte. It was the best ice latte I ever had. However, the customers service is surprisingly awful. I would give them 0 star for customer service. Their so called baristas is the worst I have ever seen. The barista is even worse than the ones who work in Starbucks. I am not sure they are even qualified as a barista. I was taking photo of my coffee. The barista got freak out and said don’t take pictures of him and told me to delete from my phone. I don’t know who he think he is because I was taking photo of the “coffee”. Just like the other reviewers on yelp, this coffee shop has 0 customers service even they have great coffee. They’re very unlike other coffee shop. First, They don’t offer a comfortable environment for you to stay. No seats inside of course. Apparently they want the customers to pay the money and go away. Second, this place is not credit card friendly unlike other coffee shops in the city. They have old fashioned machines. They prefer cash. Third, the environment is dirty. You can actually see the dusts around the cashier area. The only good thing about this coffee shop is the good coffee with cheap price. I would still come to here next time but I would just close my eyes and ignore everything and get my coffee out of here.

The Mad Priest – Menu with Prices – 719 Cherry St Suite 100, Chattanooga

Atmosphere: I have visited the other Mad Priest location and while the coffee is excellent at both there is something to be said about a cute atmosphere this place is awesome on the inside and out. Plenty of inside seats for people to work and enjoy their coffee and a super cute outdoor seating area in the alley. Every table on the inside has a chess table I could spend a couple hours in here! Service: I came in around 7:30 am on a Wednesday. Not too many people inside. The barista was friendly and quick. I also ordered food that took about 6 minutes or so. The barista let me know about how long the food would take which I appreciated. Coffee and food: the coffee at both locations is solid. You really can’t go wrong with what you order. I will say the breakfast menu is limited but the bagels are delicious so whatever ? I will be back to try lunch and cocktails! Tip: parking is metered on the street. I took a chance and just ran in but that was just luck!

Hola Cafe Dallas – Menu with Prices – 416 N Tyler St, Dallas

This adorable, modern coffee shop is the perfect place to spend a slow morning or afternoon. The shop itself is not very big at all, but it is beautiful, minimalistic and chic. I ordered their regular iced latte and my friend ordered their house coffee. I’ll say I’m really impressed!! Their coffee is delicious. Although, there isn’t a lot of seating at all inside the shop. It would be hard to bring a group of friends here. It’s sad that this little spot is so far from where I live. But if I’m ever in the area again, I would come back to try their matcha drink!

blank coffee | food – Menu with Prices – 600 S 21st St Suite 150, Colorado Springs

After a long hike, day at the dog park or excursion on the west end, I really love popping into Blank. I’m not trying to throw shade at other coffee spots, but it’s refreshing to finally walk into a well designed space. They even have charging outlets at nearly every table so I come often with friends to get work done. And whenever my friends visit from Denver or NYC, this is the place that makes the Springs look a bit less lame, while having damn good coffee. Oat milk is where it’s at! Someone said their new outdoor seating is dog friendly, so I’m excited to take advantage of that. Coffee with your pups and some Mountain views. What could be better? Anyway, highly recommend!

Yote Social Lab – Menu with Prices – 333 Grandville Ave SW, Grand Rapids

Stopped in for the first time today on my way out from Founder’s and wow! What a beautiful and trendy coffee shop. They have some food and affordable prices. Plenty of seating as well! Fridays they have $1 drinks if you get the app apparently which is really awesome. Best thing I noticed was how friendly the barista was. Will definitely be back! Very cool place and I’m impressed!
