Cute little Italian restaurant offering fairly price pasta dishes. All of the pastas range from $13-$16 and come in good portions. The sole waiter is an Italian guy who is really pleasant and friendly. The place is really small and therefore, if you’re not lucky, you may end up waiting a long time. We were a group of four and ended up waiting for one hour and a half. The waiter could have seated us much much earlier if only he had seated other parties of two in a different manner, and combined two tables together. For that reason, poor table management, we ended up having to wait outside for 90 minutes. Overall the food is great and reasonably priced (almost cheap for New York). However, because of the overall wait and experience, i think a 4 star rating is fair. On a side note, I would also like to warn everyone that the restaurant has NO bathroom. Therefore, you should come prepared!

Yoshi Shabu Shabu – Menu with Prices – 1801 N Greenville Ave Suite # 400, Richardson

The reservation system here is very poor. We made an online reservation for a party of 7 at about 7:45 PM and were not seated until about 9:45. We had called the restaurant multiple times to confirm our reservation and each time they told us it would be fine. They said that we would be able to be seated by 9 PM and even after arriving at the restaurant, they continued to tell us that we would be seated soon while we waited for over 30 minutes and we watched as they seated other groups. Once we were seated, we placed our order and the waiter demonstrated how to use the various sauces and condiments. He was extremely poor at portion control. The first pot had noticeably more condiments than the last one. Sometimes he didn’t even bother to put and in the last one (mine). The food came out in a reasonable amount of time but the portions of mean were very small for what it was worth. The food was okay. I definitely liked the middle sauce the best (I believe it was miso and peanut?). I did like the unlimited veggies but I had to keep asking the waiter for more because the portions that they gave of each thing to start, besides the cabbage, were so small. Overall, I felt like this restaurant was overpriced and the service was poor. I most likely would not come back.

Jimmy’s Egg – Menu with Prices – 550 N Webb Rd suite b, Wichita

This was my first experience and my last if I have anything to say about it. When we were first seated we chose a table over booth as only 4 of our usual group showed up and we thought we’d sit somewhere we could add another table just in case and told the waiter this as he was following us around with the coffee pot as we decided on a table. 20 minutes later I had to flag him down as he hadn’t even stopped to check on coffee/drink refills. He says he thought we were waiting on others and as we said, we might but anytime we have been in that situation before the wait staff always checks on drinks and asks if we are still waiting to order. My water was never refilled, fortunately I drank someone else’s. I ordered a side of hash browns and a side of biscuits and gravy. Another 10-15 minute wait to have him come out with food and say the biscuits were not ready so within another 10 minutes I am out of breakfast and still hungry, still waiting on him to notice my lack of water. He comes out another 15 or so minutes later to say the biscuits were still not ready and here we are, done with our breakfast, I’m still hungry and he has yet to notice my water which is when I say cancel the biscuits and gravy and point out my lack of water. He says he’ll get me more, I said I had to drink someone else’s, he says, at least you have water. He then brings out the tickets, of course my biscuits and gravy are canceled but he then says he took off the coffee’s for the inconvenience. DUDE! I drank water!!! (everyone else had coffee)

Pho Cali Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 120 S Harbor Blvd, Santa Ana

Food: 7/10 Service: 2/10 Dining room: 7.5/10 The thing that kills it for me at this restaurant is the fact that the customers will wait 5-10 minutes before even being seated, even while staff can see them. During my visit today, I watched 8 staff members working the dining room, and only one waiter actually greeting and taking orders. He would not seat or recognize new customers as he ran around the dining area. I saw several families leave impatiently because they were not noticed at the door. It seems there is no management of any kind, and the other staff seem to refuse to do anything other than bus tables. We also waited 15 minutes to get our check to leave, as our waiter seems to intentionally avoid eye contact. I saw several groups decide to seat themselves due to the negligible behavior. Food was swiftly delivered and tasty, but the total lack of customer service is ridiculous. If you plan to come here, just seat yourself, because they won’t.

David’s Catfish House Pensacola – Menu with Prices – 131 N New Warrington Rd, Pensacola

We will never go back to Davidâ??s Catfish House again. We came in with a family of 8 around 7pm and was told it would be a 20 min wait. Great! No worries, we expected a wait. Once we got seated the waitress brought up that they had a table of 35 come in and so they were quit busy with that. It took the waitress 20 minutes to come ask for our drinks. After that long we were ready to order. After another 30 minutes passed some of us finally received our salad just to have the waitress say â??Oh we are out of lettuce so itâ??s just spring mix ha haâ?. An hour after we got to make our order we finally got our appetizers and when I complained to the manager he tried saying â??Oh well the first 20 mins you were here you were out there waiting for a table so it hasnâ??t really been that long.â? I explained to him that we were very unsatisfied and were about to just leave if the food didnâ??t come soon. The manager assured us that the food would come out very hot and fresh any minute now. Finally, an hour and 28 minutes after placing our order we received our food. It was NOT hot or fresh. We ended up leaving, just walked out. We werenâ??t the only table complaining either, 2 other tables were openly complaining.

P.F. Chang’s – Menu with Prices – 5511 Crosslake Pkwy, Waco

My wife & I were in there a week ago and was her 2nd time to P.F. Chang’s. Her 1st experience was at the Dallas Northpark location where she fell in love with the food. So while we were on the Waco area, we went to this location. We ordered lettuce wraps, spring rolls and the black pepper chicken. After we were nearly finished eating the 2 appetizers, the waiter came back and asked if we would like to order something else. We said no, just waiting for the Singapore Black Pepper chicken. He had that “Oh Crap” look in his face, and said he would check on it. I saw him talking to the chef (or ?) and a few minutes later said, sorry it’s taking so long, but it’ll be out soon. Meanwhile, the table next to us who was seated and ordered after us had their food. The Singapore Black Pepper chicken came out, my wife took 2 bites and I could see disappointment in her face. To me, it tasted okay, but was not quite like we had in Dallas. I just wrote it off as, P.F. Chang’s Waco isn’t up to par like Dallas. But my wife wasn’t eating it. The waiter came by and she’s how things were, I started to say something, but decided it was best not to. I just replied, “It’s okay!” Several minutes later, a woman comes to our table and identities herself as the manager. (I’m going off of memory here) I think it was Sylvia. We told her if our disappointment in the Singapore Black Pepper chicken. She looked at it and said, “that’s my favorite and it doesn’t look right, let me get that remade for you.” The replacement came out and you could VISUALLY see the difference. The taste was HUGELY different. So what happened, the waiter confessed to having forgotten to submit the order for the Black Pepper chicken, so when he realized we were waiting, he talked to the chef and told him. But the chef tried to RUSH the order and the quality and taste suffered. We were not in a rush. I’d rather wait and get there quality P.F. Chang’s is known for, than it be rushed. So the main reasons I’m giving a 5 Star and not 4 or below, is when done RIGHT, the food was excellent. But the biggest reasons, are kudos to Sylvia the manager for comping 80% of our meal, her understanding, her true dedication to “Customer Service” and making it right. The other part is for our waiter who later came and apologized and owned his mistake and not blaming someone else. All in all, the food (when corrected) was fabulous. The staff and management are respectable. Mark

The Legacy Golf Club – Menu with Prices – 6808 S 32nd St, Phoenix

We came here on a whim because of a Groupon offer. We also decided it would be a good place to try because of the good reviews on yelp and Groupon. WRONG! First off, it’s not very clear where the restaurant is. None of the signs say the name of the restaurant and if it weren’t for a pamphlet at the entry we wouldn’t have known for certain where we were. We were seated quickly, the place wasn’t very full so we weren’t concerned about a long wait. After being seated we order drinks and it took a while for anyone to come back around. The man who took and brought our drink order turned out to not be our waiter so despite being ready to order we had to wait for a server. It was 26 minutes before the server came to our order. During this time many other tables were seated. Other people ordered their food as well and we waited. In the hour and six minutes that we waited for food three other tables seated after us received food. One table also ordered and received dessert in that time. Another table got their food, ate it, paid and left before we were served. Now you may wonder what we had ordered? Maybe it was something that takes a long time? NOTHING TAKES THAT LONG TO PREPARE. We ordered their fish taco special, grilled salmon and a quesadilla. We were on borrowed time at this point as it was nearing our children’s bed time and they were starving as were we. We paid our bill and requested to go boxes before our food arrived. Despite that we still didn’t get our bill settled until we were half way through our food. And we also ended up waiting fo the to go boxes. I wouldn’t actually tell anyone to come here unless they were already at the gold course or if they aren’t hungry. Need a drink? This is your place! Want a delicious meal that takes and hour and half to get? Then this is where you should eat. Now you may be wondering why I still gave them 3 stars. Our waitress was very nice in spite of her obviously being over burdened with tables. The prickly margaritas were actually quite good and reasonably priced for a gold course. Lastly, the food was actually very good. The grilled salmon was as close to perfect as I could expect from a standard American restaurant, the quesadilla was actually grilled and the cheese was melted ( since being in Arizona we have noticed a lack of melted cheese) and the fish tacos were fantastic. Will we return here? NO Is this place kid friendly? NO Is there a diaper changing table in the bathroom? NO Will I tell people to go here? Probably not If you do go here use a Groupon or the check in offer for 20% off. Other wise it’s not worth it.

Kravers Seafood Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 2368 Leroy Stevens Rd, Mobile

Food was okay but service was terrible. The two girls working the front talked to my family and I like we were dirt. We had a party of 15 for a surprise birthday gathering… my mom called ahead and they said they donâ??t take reservations but when we get there to let the manager, Abigail, know and she will have them push tables together for us. When we arrived, I let the two girls up front know we were there and they said we had to wait for our entire party to arrive before we could be seated.. even though we knew exactly how many people would be there… After everyone but the birthday boy arrived, I told them we were ready to be seated. They then told me there were no available tables and there would be a wait. Even though I told them 20 minutes before that we were there and ready to be seated. When I asked to speak to Abigail, they wouldnâ??t let me. After another 10 minutes of waiting, my aunt asked the girl up front how long it would be until we were seated… she replied, â??I do not know, would you like to go ask the customers sitting and eating how much longer they will be?â? We weâ??re finally seated after waiting for 45 minutes… needless to say, wonâ??t be back!

deadhorse hill – Menu with Prices – 281 Main St, Worcester

Donâ??t walk in without a reservation, even if there is open tables you will not be seated. I have to down my rating for my most recent experience because we were never seated at a table. We came in at 7:30 and were told we would have an hour wait. But if anything became available at the bar we could sit there while we waited for a table. Meanwhile 2 people left from the bar and there were 4 open tables in the restaurant we figured were for reservations. We stood waiting until 8:45pm, which we then asked if we could atleast take the two empty bar seats because no one had been in them for 20 minutes. Both hostesses had been in the back by the kitchen all this time unless someone walked in. We ordered an appetizer and a drink which were great. The food was fast hot and tasted great. But by 9:10pm with the same 4 tables still empty we decided to leave because we realized we were never getting a seat. And really for our first date night out since having a baby didnâ??t want to eat the bar the whole time. Our bar tender was great, the food was amazing, but if you donâ??t have a reservation they are not really willing to work to hard to get you a table even if you wait an hour and a half.

HiroNori Craft Ramen – Menu with Prices – 163 S Lake Ave, Pasadena

The rating is more based on service rather than food. Here we go. We arrived on Sunday around 6pm-ish. We walk in and we were told to put our name down on the iPad and to wait outside. The employee mentioned that we shouldn’t have to wait long because a table had already paid and they should be leaving soon. So the moment we sit outside to wait, we see the table leave. Then we see another party leave. Then another. Oh..2 more parties. It’s been 15 minutes now. Literally 15 minutes and 5 tables have left with more than 2 people and we were still waiting. My bf asked when we would be seated and they said a few more minutes. I just didn’t get it. So we sat down, and our waiter…while he was nice, he has a thick accent and his English was so so. Both my bf and I were looking to order the Tonkotsu ramen combo for $15.05 and when I asked about the rice bowl, the waiter said it was JUST a side of white rice. I was confused..I thought we could choose between the rice bowls they had, and so he said no..just rice. My bf then said he didn’t want the combo and just the ramen. So we ordered that, then the waiter asks which bowl I would like. Wha? You ARE able to choose between the bowls they had, so he confused the hell out of us, and when he reread our order, he only had one tonkotsu combo, but not my bf’s ramen. I told my bf why not get the combo, but since our waiter was confused..he honestly didn’t even want to bother with confusing him more. So I got the combo with the pork bowl. We also ordered a side of their chicken karaage for $5.50 The food came out really fast..the salad was refreshing, the pork was really really delicious and a hefty portion. Chicken was pretty good, but I didn’t like the sauce at all. Good portion, good flavors. The ramen wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. It was missing something. I did love how you can choose between thin or thick noodles (I chose thick) and it was the perfect chewiness. The broth was also thick, but the flavor wasn’t all there. Definitely one of the better ramen places in Pasadena, though!

Chile Pepper – Menu with Prices – 1427 N 45th St, Seattle

Left with full bellies and sniffling noses. Shredded chicken tacos were delicious but service was poor, restaurant was very cold, and restroom was even colder with ice cold water for washing hands. The salsa served was also very cold as if was blended from a frozen state. Only 2 tables occupied on a Friday night so we weren’t sure if it would be any good. With the food as good as it is, this place would be booming with some care for attentiveness and running the heat. It is 40 degrees this evening. Brrr. The waiter was engaged in conversation with the other table nearly our whole dining experience so we had to find our own silverware, our own box, and the cook ended up filling our drinks, bussing our table, and getting our check. Poor guy.

NINETEEN at Awbrey Glen Menu with Prices 2500 Awbrey Glen Dr, Bend

I am giving two stars for the setting. I can’t give it any more (or less) because food and service were not to be, for us two seemingly invisible patrons, last night. I had wanted to try this place, as we live close by and I knew it was a beautiful setting, and we wanted to sit outside on this evening and have a glass of wine and some appetizers. All was on track at first (we were immediately seated at a nice table on the deck). It was not busy, at least on the deck (perhaps because it was a smoky evening). We waited patiently for 5-7 minutes for some attention, as in, from a waiter (at some point I began to note the time on my phone, as it was getting to be a lonnnnng wait for us increasingly thirsty and hungry people). We decided to give it 5-7 more minutes. After about 5 more minutes, a table of 6 was seated two tables away (the table between us was empty). They were immediately attended to by a cheerful waiter, taking their drink orders and chatting them up. We observed this for several minutes, and at that point we knew that this was not going to be the place for us on this night. We re-entered the dining room, walked through, and departed the same way we entered (i.e., the entrance/exit). No one said good-bye…no one cared (sob), we just must have been invisible. We made our way to another close-by establishment (Broken Top Bottle Shop), and were immediately attended to, had delicious food and drinks, and we felt entirely visible!

Ninza Sushi Bar – Menu with Prices – 8428 W 13th St N #100, Wichita

I can’t even explain my experience here. First of all, it took more than the average wait for a normal restaurant. Second of all, there was only one waiter against 7-8 tables. And also, my brother was sitting over at the bar and he gets up to go to the bathroom and the waiter just takes his stuff. He also refilled my brothers water and also knew he was on my ticket. We also had to wait around a hour and thirty minutes for 3 platters of sushi. The sushi was also bland and over-priced.I don’t recommend it as well. The waiter also did a couple things that ticked me off. He got our order wrong, we had to wait 40 minutes for our waters to be filled up again and he forgot the plates and one of the rolls we had ordered. He also said something along the lines of ” We didn’t expect you guys here”. Now that was rude. I don’t usually do reviews but gosh this place just isn’t for me.
