THIS RESTAURANT SELLS ROTTEN FOOD!!! DON’T EAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This review is for the restaurant. I was really looking forward to this place after learning bambu drinks opened in Fresno. We usually stop by Bambu in LA every time we’re in town. I Couldn’t wait for the renovation to complete to try some Vietnamese noodles with my family. We even brought along our relative. I ordered seafood egg noodle soup, OH MY GOSH….as soon as I bit into the imitation crab meat, a foul, sour, and rotten taste and smell exploded into my mouth. I couldn’t even spit it out fast enough. I asked my brother in law to try it in case my taste buds was off. He too couldn’t spit it out fast enough as soon as he took a small bite. I took out all the imitation crab meat and placed it into a small bowl, called the waiter over and told him the imitation crab meat was rotten. He took the bowl and left without saying anything. I couldn’t take another bite knowing there was rotten food in my bowl. I saw the waiter again as he walked out of the kitchen towards my table with a bowl in his hand. I suppose he was going to replace the imitation crab meat, but I didn’t want it anymore. I asked the waiter to change my order to Pho steak to be on the safe side. He asked again to make sure if that’s what I wanted and I said yes. He goes off and comes back with my egg noodle from the previous bowl but now placed in pho soup. At this point I just literally face palm and the waiter kept looking at me knowing what they did but didn’t do anything. I didn’t want to make a scene with my relatives and kids there so I didn’t say anything else. Now I regret it, I should had said more. IF I COULD GIVE THIS ROTTEN PLACE A ZERO STAR I WOULD!!!

Tom Yum Thai Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 233 Regent Ave W, Winnipeg

Been going there for a long time. Went back( today, they changed owner, new menu.) I ordered crab blossom, Thai rice noodle soup and pad Thai. So disappointed, the Thai rice noodle soup is just imitation of viet pho with really sweet soup, pad Thai was really sweet and crab blossom came with really sweet sauce. Over all its not an authentic thai resto. It’s a restaurant for foreign who doesn’t know what’s real Thai food is….. Everything just extra sweet. I had a long day n the meal was disappointing.

Yummy Poke Pensacola, FL – Menu with Prices – 5046 Bayou Blvd, Pensacola

Order: Build your own poke bowl -Base: Sushi Rice -Protein: Spicy salmon (raw) and Ahi (raw) -Sides/Mix ins: spicy imitation crab, edamame, seaweed salad -Sauce: spicy lime ponzu and spicy mayo -Topping: fish eggs -Crunch: shredded nori Average price for a poke bowl (~$11 starting price) I had only the 2 scoop protein bowl and it was more than enough for myself! They don’t skimp on any items so it is very worth the price. (They put so much imitation crab, it was as much as another scoop of protein!). The fish was fresh and not “fishy” tasting. Only con I would say to the bowl I made is that the spicy salmon and spicy imitation crab were already very saucy, so when i added in spicy mayo it made my bowl TOO saucy. I would say either omit spicy mayo if you get any “spicy” proteins or to tell them to do a light drizzle. Overall, I would definitely go there again!

First Watch – Durham – Menu with Prices – 5307 New Hope Commons Blvd Ext, Durham

Probably the rudest waiter i’ve ever had, middle-of-the-road food couldnt save the poor service. Decided to go somewhere new on saturday morning. Coming into the restaurant we were received with a mild greeting and seated. Our waiter arrived and asked what we’d like to drink. No welcome, no greeting, if there were specials we didnt hear about them, he did not even give his name. Because i dont have his name I can only say that he was working 7/6/19 at some point between 12 and 2 pm, was tall, overweight, slicked back short black curly hair, and he had a face like he didnt want to be there. he was waiting tables in the booth area near the windows away from the front door. We ordered our drinks, hot cocoa for them and I order sweet tea. He came back a few minutes later and wordlessly dropped them on the table, the water glasses were on the table, they remained unfilled. I was with my wife, mother-in-law and her aunt, english is not their first language and they are very picky eaters. They spent about 5 minutes reading the menu before he came by and asked what we were ordering.. I look over and my mother in law is literally in the process of squinting at the menu when he asks us this.. My wife is still reading a menu and her aunt still has one in her face as well.. no one had a menu on the table, no one was staring around idly, no one flagged him down, in no way shape or form was there a cue for him to ask us our order.. dude didnt even ask if we needed more time or had questions.. because theyre foreign theyre often uncomfortable ordering food, my wife hurries both of them through the menu while the waiter essentially stands there with an irritated demeanor and toe-taps. he takes the order and hes gone. I couldnt follow his interactions with the other tables but they didnt look like they were any better. what makes it worse is he didnt seem all that busy or rushed, while that doesnt excuse his behavior, it would have at least made it understandable. our drinks ran out and shortly after, our food arrived and it was pushed onto our table. if there was a utensil, cup, hand, cell phone, purse, whatever on the table, it was shoved out of the way by a plate.. at this point it was comical how much this dude did not give a damn. the plates were shoved onto the table and he was gone. The hot cocoa cups were empty, the water glasses still werent filled, and my tea was just ice. No drink refills, no mid-meal check up. He came by, asked if we would be splitting our check and that was the last of him. oh yeah, i forgot about the food.. Overall the food was “okay” but completely forgettable.. hell, ill only remember this place cause the waiter was a terrible host..

5-Taste Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 3701 S Harbor Blvd #F, Santa Ana

Does anyone know where is now “Sushi near me? That’s why we came here but decided to give it a shot and try this new place. Tasteless. I ordered Seafood Malatang – it was 2 shrimp, 3 pieces of fish and 2 pieces of imitation crab. At was simply thrown to hot water. No flavor, no seasonings, no even salt. “Ramen” noodle was straight from instant noodle, but at least that comes with some seasoning. Another order was rice combo with fried chicken that actually almost had no chicken in there, it was just fried breading.

Wayo Japanese Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 2119 S Glenstone Ave, Springfield

We were in the mood for sushi and wanted to try a new place. We came on a Friday evening around 8pm and the place was quiet. We were one of two tables. After tasting our food I was shocked that this place wasn’t packed out. We started with Miso soup and Crab Rangoon, both were delicious. The Miso soup is one of, if not the, best I’ve ever had. The Crab Rangoons were stuffed with cream cheese and real shredded crab meat, fried to perfection and not overly crunchy. For our entrees we had the Chicken Yakisoba and the Rich & Famous roll. The Yakisoba had great flavor. The veggies were cooked perfectly and enhanced the flavor of the dish. Most noodle dishes are more noodle than veggies and meat. Not the case here! The Rich & Famous roll is definitely rich with flavor. It was plated beautifully and not overly doused with sauces. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. If you enjoy Sushi, this is the best I’ve found in Springfield!

Noodle House – Menu with Prices – 4800 Baseline Rd A-110, Boulder

One of the more authentic places for Asian food in Boulder–this is exactly what I’ve been looking for in this town. And the boss lady is an absolute gem! The restaurant is extremely clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The name of the restaurant is Noodle House, but they also serve hot pot–seems like it’s the only place in Boulder that does. They have lunch specials daily for both noodle dishes and hot pot combos too. My boyfriend and I got the beef noodle soup with the house noodles. The house noodles are delicious–you can taste the homemade freshness through the texture and consistency of the noodles. The beef noodle soup is flavored nicely and in a very authentic way. The mild spicy has the perfect amount of kick to it. The beef is also cooked to a tender perfection. Super flavorful and well seasoned. The only thing I didn’t love about the beef noodle soup is the fact that it includes broccoli instead of something more traditional like bok choy, but honestly this is all around a decent bowl of beef noodle soup. Not Taiwanese style, but good. The owner is the sweetest woman and honestly feels like a mother figure with how kind she was. Can’t wait to come back and try the hot pot when it gets a bit cooler. Noodle House, you’ve won my heart.

Essential Thai Cuisine Menu with Prices 2415 W Lincoln Ave H, Anaheim

I hate to give them a bad review since this is my favorite thai restaurant. I have been going here for more than 10 years now. As I said, it was my favorite thai restaurant until just about an hour ago. I came in here earlier today because I was craving for their yummy wonton soup & fried rice. The food came out appetizing as usual… but then I noticed an insect leg floating on my soup. I immediately spit the soup out. It looked like a cockroach leg. It was so disgusting. I brought it to server’s attention and in fairness to her she was very apologetic about it. She offered me a new one but I had to say no because I already lost my appetite. She took my food away & told me to wait so I can talk to their manager. I was just going to let it go but this random girl from the kitchen came out and asked me “what happened to your food?” So I told her that there was a cockroach leg on my soup. She just ignored what I said and then asked me if I still want to eat my fried rice. She had no remorse or anything. I had to tell her that I will have to come back to talk to the owner. She answered me back saying “Well, he is not here so…” I was extremely surprised on her response. I didnt want to make a scene so I just walked out.

Old Taro Taiwanese Noodle – Menu with Prices – 4370 Thornton Ave, Fremont

One of my (and my mom’s) favorite beef noodle soup places ever! It’s definitely a hole in the wall, so usually on weekdays there is no wait. Occasionally, on weekends during lunch there will be a wait – a lot of families love the lamb hot pots (?), and it’s very family friendly. The place is not big, there are probably only 10 tables total, with 4 seats at each table. The spicy beef noodle soup is so good – it reminds me a lot of beef noodle soups found in Taiwan, and they give 3-4 pieces of meat in each bowl. They also offer the sour mustard greens é?¸è? and hot sauce on the side. Personally, I don’t add anymore hot sauce – it’s spicy enough for me. And recently, they just added “thick” noodles that look like handmade noodles. I love thicker noodles, the texture is much chewier than the original thin noodle. Occasionally, I get the plate of pork ears, since I like to dip them in hot sauce. Price of a bowl of beef noodle soup is $10.25 right now, which is similar to other beef noodle places around Fremont. I come here probably once a week or so, sometimes more. I just got it yesterday for take-out, and I know for a fact I’ll be getting lunch here again in 2 days. The service isn’t amazing, but it’s very efficient. I don’t expect great service at small, family run places like these though. There is no decor, but prices are decent, food is pretty great, and service is efficient. I highly recommend giving the beef noodle soup a try.

Squares Hot Pot – Menu with Prices – 23119 Colonial Pkwy #C13, Katy

This is my first time write a review for any places or restaurants. If there are negative stars I would give it to them. I just went there with my family 2 hrs ago. 4 Adults. So we decided to go with the ALL YOU CAN EAT. Which was 26.99$ a person BUT STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THE HOTPOT SOUP BASE… it was like 9.99$ one time pay. But what is the purpose of paying for all u can eat hotpot but we still have to pay for the soup base??? But since we already sat down and it was our first time there so we decided to try it out. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!! 1) So ordered we got a couple of different meats and seafoods. They didn’t bring out 2 items. We didn’t noticed then we looked at the paper to order more then I realized so I asked for it again. And the waiter was like we are out of that…. ( should’ve told us when then brought out the first time). 2) we ordered egg noodles.. the texture was horrible it was like we were eating hard chewy gummy bear noodles 3. Then we asked for instant Noodle… ( remember there were 4 adults) he brought out 1 serving like literally from 1 bag of instant noodle. 4) we ordered seafood ( brought out a small plate with 5 shrimps, small portion of quids and few sticks of artificial snow crab ) maybe enough for 2 people. 5. Veggies?? Brought out enough for 2 ppl 6. So we table was right there next to the enployees only room. They only had the 2 pcs curtains to cover. So we ordered another plate of meat and I was looking inside that room. The guy who sliced the meat he was on his phone I think he didn’t wash his hand before he sliced the meat!!! AND AS HE SLICED THE MEAT WITH THE MACHINE, HE USED HIS BARE HANDED TO GET THE MEAT AND PUT IT ON THE PLATE. HORRIBLE!!! 7. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!!!! It looked like they were avoiding our table. They only came to our table maybe twice. It was hard to get their attention. And it was not busy! Maybe 5 tables at most! WE FELT LIIKE THEY ARE NOT WELCOMED US THERE THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE THERE. IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME AND OUR LAST TIME!!!

Wake Technical Community College – Menu with Prices – 9101 Fayetteville Rd, Raleigh

very annoying my spouse went in there 3 times for nothing. she just wanted general information regardinging certification classes. first time she went in there they said they needed her transcripts to he able to speak to somone like an advisor. second time they made her do an application and asked for more information she didnt have with her, why they didnt tell her in the first place is beyond me. third time she sits down with an advisor and they gave her price for a classes but couldnt give her details regarding the programs. throughout this whole process multiple people approached her as though they were selling off of commission. the advisor couldnt even tell her if the courses are for preparation for the certification, do get a certification with these courses and if they even offer the certification test? waste of time. period. and fyi if your going to have advisors and staff trying to sell students atleast have a better process as well as make sure they are prepared with information when questions are asked. Lastly, after all of this can you believe they enrolled her classes! the bs. i swear. not even telling her they enrolled her in classes for an associate’s program when she had informed everyone along the way that she has already graduated with a BBA. cant believe this.

Osaka Sushi – Menu with Prices – 3685 W Henrietta Rd, Rochester

This place used to be good. Now please just avoid it! 1. As a buffet restaurant, this place tries to fill you up with rice, noodle and water, not in a subtle way. I ordered avocado sushi with a smear of avocado, seafood ramen with tons of noodles and two tiny pieces of imitation crab, eel rolls with a paper thin eel on a giant rice ball, etc. They don’t want to sell good food. They are trying to make you feel full. 2. The service is terrible as well. I ordered tempura that I never got. When I tried to order some more, the server told me that I needed to finish the rice bowl. For god sake, I couldn’t finish the eel rice bowl because it’s just a full bowl of rice with two pieces of paper thin eels on it. At least let me order some other food to go with the rice! 3. The worst part is that the food tastes not fresh. The teriyaki eel has gone sour. Again, I left two pieces because I can’t force myself to eat stale food! Overall, I had a lettuce salad, two shrimps, four avocado rolls, eel rice bowl, seafood ramen, four eel rolls. I paid $16 and a stomachache later that day.

SEIYO SUSHI – Menu with Prices – 1721 Washington St unit C, Boston

I was immediately impressed by the decor and their sign on the door that said something along the line of “sushi, craft beer, wine,” (a triple threat for me). From maki to nigiri to sashimi, there are tons of different types of sushi to choose from. However I found myself getting completely lost in the menu and I couldn’t initially figure out why, until I realized later that nothing really stood out to me. I ended up getting the Red Dragon maki, which was good but did not think it was anything special. I initially inquired about the Alligator maki ($15) and whether the crab meat was real or imitation, and much to my dismay I was told it was imitation. Waaay overpriced for an imitation crab roll, in my opinion. We had also gotten a couple appetizers and finished most of it, but then our waitress told us we had to finish the whole thing before she would bring us the rest of our order. We had no idea that they were waiting for us to finish the last two pieces of fish…I felt like they could have said something to us sooner so we weren’t waiting aimlessly! The quality of sushi was high, and ambiance/decor of the restaurant was trendy, but the full experience was very anti-climatic. It was also pretty empty for being a Saturday during Boston Marathon weekend…another sign? I had a pretty strong sushi craving when I came into Seiyo, and it didn’t totally fulfill it unfortunately.
