My boy Yoko Steve sold his business on the plateau so since then I’ve been on the hunt for a new Teriyaki spot. Ive tried places all over the Eastside (wont name them) and let me tell you, T&MO is by far the best. Great quality and value. Nice Staff and Owners. They work hard to make sure the orders get out in time usually about 12 minutes turn around if you call it in. Lastly, as a business they seem committed to keeping the prices reasonable and affordable for the local community. Some other places charge like $13-14 for a lunch plate half the size… C’Mon Man #espn I drive past a few other places because T&MO is the place to Go!

Direct Seafood Outlet – Menu with Prices – 1643 Cypress Ave, Melbourne

Jerry and his crew are amazing! This is a fun and friendly business that I frequent at about every 2 weeks or less to stock up and the seafood is very good – I am quite picky coming from San Francisco. My favorites are the Scottish Salmon, Scallops and Snow Crab Legs. Of course I have eaten many other tasty items that are also of high quality – this is my go to seafood shop and the prices are reasonable. I have tried seafood from around at different places and it doesn’t come close to the quality at Direct Seafood. If they weren’t here, I would not be eating much seafood since I haven’t been able to find quality outside of this place and I won’t eat it if it isn’t really good. This place gets packed on weekends and is out of control on holidays – its that good. The good news about that is that means the fish is always fresh! The stuff is flying out the door… I’m so glad when Jerry took this business over that he stayed committed to high quality seafood. He is great business man and his employees are so nice, very customer service oriented. I love this place. P.S. crab claws are tasty too.

Noodle Palace – South East Asian Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 1310 Petaluma Hill Rd, Santa Rosa

If I had written a review in 2011, (why didn’t I write a review in 2011?!) it would have been five stars: delicious food, reasonable prices, friendly staff. But now, in 2019 draw a big fat permanent sharpie line through “reasonable prices”. They charge extra for every single thing they can. I went here last month and when I asked to see a breakdown of how one order of pho, one order of spring rolls, a Thai Tea, and a banh mi totaled nearly $40, I saw this: -The prices on the menu aren’t current. Everything seems to be a dollar (or two!) more -Paying nearly $9 for spring rolls is a mistake I will not make again -Thai Tea is $4 if I recall correctly. Again, way too many dollars! -$.50 charge for dipping sauce. $.50 to $1.00 charge for each to-go container!! This is absurd and not posted anywhere on the menu or otherwise! -$3.00 charge to pay with a card. This used to be one of my very favorite restaurants that I would recommend to anyone and everyone. I no longer recommend this place to anyone unless I want them to feel tricked by the hidden fees. These people should start a credit card company.

Loving Hut Glendale, AZ – Menu with Prices – 3515 W Union Hills Dr, Glendale

I have never seen such unmotivated customer service. I drove 30 minutes for their frozen vegan shrimp and when i didn’t find any in the freezer, i asked the employee helping me if i may know when they get their next shipment. He then asked what i assume is to be the employee in charge, and she said they just received a new shipment last night but has no clue what it is. I stood in silence, wondering if any of them where going to even offer to look. After a moment of silence, I then asked if there is by chance a packet of frozen shrimp for purchase. The employee in charge then said “I have no clue, and we are really busy for mothers day so we may not even have time to stock the freezers. I also don’t have a set of keys to unlock that freezer.” I honestly couldn’t believe her response. She had given me 3 excuses in 1 statement. I myself, came in on Saturday with my son on the day before mother’s day and I can promise you, it was not busy at all. When she noticed how taken back I was by their unprofessionalism, she added “you can call us Monday or Tuesday to see if we have restocked the freezer. ” I am clearly a committed customer if I was willing to drive 30 minutes just for 1 purchase and the head employee couldn’t make the same effort. They sure made my mother’s day.

Marcos Deli – Menu with Prices – 707 N Broadwalk, Hollywood

I understand that running and operating a business costs money. But reselling frozen foods you buy from a grocery store is not what I call good business. Then not only that but for the price of 8 wings I could buy a whole bag for 10$. I got sick off the 2 wings I ate. The fries were absolutely aweful, then you charge 3$ for a water. Inflating prices is not the American way. In the end I had to pay for food I didn?t even eat. I was very displeased.

Ward’s Seafood Market & Take-Out – Menu with Prices – 1001 Belleair Rd, Clearwater

Been going here forever. BY FAR the best fishmonger in Tampa Bay. They always have local line caught whole fish at reasonable prices. The staff here is friendly, fast and knowledgeable, and they have a ton of people working at any given time so you never have to wait long. I contact them via text weekly for live crawfish availability and the response is always prompt. Have recommended this to hundreds of tourists, local and seasonal residents and have never heard anything less than stellar about Wardâ??s in 20 years. This is how to run a locally owned business. Now if we only had Jimâ??s Meat Market open back up weâ??d have our prized butcher back, but Wards is and always will be a local treasure. They also support local fishermen. This is a business that cares about supporting the local community and providing a superior quality product at a fair price on a consistent basis.

Papa Pizza Pie – Menu with Prices – 1105 S Euclid St #H, Fullerton

We don’t order pizza a lot, but we order several times a year for the past two years (only online) and our pizza has always been on time or early and still ready to eat, and tastes really great! It’s not loaded with a ton of oils from the cheese or meats on top. We love that you can make the pizza any way you want. It’s such a plus! Type of sauce, cheese, etc. It’s wonderful. Also, if you want to tip in cash, have it ready for your delivery person because they left so fast (probably to get his deliveries out on time) we didn’t give them the tip we had. Thank you! (Lastly, the price is very reasonable. I had a 2-topping medium pizza for $12.11 + $2.99 delivery fee. That’s a great price to choose my own toppings and delivery to downtown Anaheim. For those who feel like it’s cheaper to get a gigantic pizza from Costco for $9.95. You’re absolutely right. It’s cheaper, it’s larger, it’s supreme with everything. I don’t want a cheese, pepperoni or supreme. I want my own creation and Papa Pie is a local business owner. Of course it’s more expensive. Try owning your own restaurant. Costco closes at 6pm and doesn’t deliver. But Papa’s delivered my made to order pizza at 8:30pm. My husband and I believe in local businesses in our community. We’ll get Costco pizza another day.)

Crane Coffee – Menu with Prices – 15310 Weir St, Omaha

This is my favorite coffee place in Omaha and I regularly drive past other coffee places or go out of my way to get coffee from Crane Coffee. The quality is better than the other chain places and the prices are reasonable. On top of that, the service is also incredibly friendly. My favorite thing to order is their Crane Special, and my son loves their cookies (as do my husband and I, if we are being honest).

Pemberton Farms Marketplace – Menu with Prices – 2225 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge

As someone committed to shopping locally (especially food), trying to reduce packaging, and who eats vegan, I really love having Pemberton Farms available. Their new bulk foods section is awesome and I got a lot of snack foods to last me through the week for affordable prices. I love that I can buy bulk beans, rice, etc. as well as fill up on bulk hand soap, laundry detergent, cleaner, olive oil, kombucha, etc. without always buying the packaging. They have tons of variety of goods and have become even more well stocked in recent months. Staff are always friendly and check out quickly. They don’t automatically give you a receipt – they either ask or you have to ask for it. Cons: They are definitely pricey. They stock more expensive kinds of items, and I assume that they also have higher prices because they’re locally owned. It is my strong hope that these higher prices reflect better wages for the workers as that’s why I’m willing to pay them.

Westgate Entertainment District – Menu with Prices – 6751 N Sunset Blvd, Glendale

The traffic here and lack of signs for parking is insane. Came for the first home game of the season for the Coyotes; so I was definitely expecting some traffic but not the absolute nightmare that ensued for FORTY FIVE minutes. We couldn’t even pull into Westgate for 20 of that because the 4 way intersections surrounding Westgate have the worst light system. If you’re trying to take a left turn into there, DON’T. Because all the people turning right or going straight jam up so bad that when you get the left turn arrow you can’t even turn because everything is so backed up. We just sat in our car in disbelief of the absolute cluster fuck. I even said to my fiancé that maybe we should just park across the street and then walk but at that point we were already committed. You’d think it would get better when you get into Westgate but it just gets worse. People walking everywhere so you can’t even move and the people that are supposed to be directing traffic were just standing there doing nothing. There are no signs saying park here, or parking lot full. And there were so many entrances to parking lots that were blocked off for no apparent reason because I could see open parking spaces. Finally after we had already missed 20 minutes of the hockey game, we pulled into a parking lot using the exit side when a lady comes up screaming saying the lot was full even though we could see spaces. At this point we are incredibly frustrated and just said “well where the heck should we park, we’ve been driving for 45 minutes?!” The lady said they were directing everyone to park across the street. So why even let people enter Westgate to just tell them they wasted 40 minutes of their time? There were no signs saying that and no one was directing anyone so we just gave the lady a $20 which I’m sure she just pocketed for herself and pulled into one of the many available spots. Crazy you can’t come here to enjoy a cocktail for 30 minutes before a game because you’ll be spending that time in your car. Will be avoiding Westgate when I can and will ALWAYS park across the street from now on.

Browns Donut Shop – Menu with Prices – 1348 N Yale Ave, Tulsa

Absolutely the best donuts in Tulsa. Fresh, soft and delicious, what more could you ask? Prices were reasonable, cleanliness was near-perfect and the service was courteous. This is a family-run local business and I am proud to support it. Great job, I look forward to my next visit there.

Velo Bike Shop – Menu with Prices – 2151 6th Ave, Seattle

this pace has been good to me in past. But just the other day one of my spokes broke. I left very pacific instructions to repair other spokes if needed, he got one but missed the other. i have black spokes if you look at it you can plainly see the raw metal he hard missed . their was a gash of metal out of other spoke. thats why the other one broke. he accidentally missed it. I didnt mind but when i called the place and they wanted to charge me extra for the fu*kup he missed. on top of that he charged me extra for relining my back rim, and didn’t even call me to confirm. Now the back rim locks and i have a very hard time pedaling some times. For example when i turn the bike upside down to try to figure out why its hard so to peddle, when i hand rolled my back wheel the crank turns going the opposite direction free style(backwards) ??? but i did make a mistake, I turned my bike in on a Tuesday or Wednesday I thought they said Friday. i left the resit their i thought in a couple of days not two weeks. usually that place has a turn around time of a couple of days or later on that night. but i guess the weather is back and its extremely busy, my bad. I asked why the prices are so high? this other guy said it was because of amazon next door? I was like O.K, that like comparing a target and a strip club together across the street. what dose one have to do with the other? I didnt know if he was joking its probably because its down town.

Jennyâ??s Jamaican Food – Menu with Prices – 7337 SE Foster Rd, Portland

Fresh and authentic and affordable Jamaican food. The menu is simple is straight forward. Iâ??ve tried most dishes, and all are very tasty. Also, great prices! (This cart does not charge for the â??cultural exchangeâ?? via the experience eating at the cart.) I would highly recommend! Located 74th and foster , with other seemingly great spots also! The Only con I can think of, is the lack of tasty beverages like teas, lunches, juices etc Also, check hours before going. Other than that, Cheers to some tasty affordable Jamaican food pdx!
