Well.. we came here in between dinner and the next stop with high hopes for a great cocktail. The smell is very odd. At first I wasn’t sure if it was who I was sitting next to, the bar mats, or the entire space. It’s the space. After waiting a good ten minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, the bartender was extremely short and unhelpful. I appreciate the fact there are not tons of printed menus laying around, however due to the bar being long and slim, not everyone can read the ONE drink board. When asking about a recommendation, I was promptly told to go read the board. Awkward AF standing at someone’s table to get close enough to even read in a dark crowded bar. Anywho. After all that, decided to go with an Old Fashioned. So much bitters, it was completely unpalatable. It’s a rare day that I will leave an unfinished drink, and this was that day. Could not even choke it down. Based on the other reviews, I may try this spot again on the event this was a one off experience.

1864 Tavern – Menu with Prices – 290 California Ave, Reno

The style of this bar is absolutely amazing! From the old chandeliers and couches to the ornate pillars, it screams vintage class. It’s one of the few bars I’ve been to around town that actually has enough places to sit! There are tons of couches and armchairs and the space itself is quite large. Although if it’s a busy night, it can be a bit hard to move around the bar as there are people standing when all the couches are taken up. The ladies room is a bit hidden back in the far corner as well, making it hard to get to if the bar is crowded. But the bartenders are phenomenal! They are quick, efficient, and wonderful at their jobs, taking multiple orders at a time without making you feel rushed and getting through a crowd of people’s drink orders quickly. The drinks are all very creative and the few I’ve actually tried and well balanced, with just the right amount of liquor! They have so many different types or accoutrements as well if you trust the bartender to just make you something from the hip. I really enjoy this space for hanging with an intimate group and maybe playing a board game or two. The atmosphere is moody and classic and just gives off a really great vibe.

Rook & Rogue Board Game Pub Menu with Prices 206 W Magnolia St, Bellingham

This is a very unique restaurant/pub in Bellingham. The owner is from Orlando, who thought Bellingham is “the place” to have a Boardgame pub and started it. They have 1300 board games on site. Many of them are free to play, some are $5, and some serious big games are $10 to play. If you are serious game player, you may want to pay $50/year membership to play $5 games, and $100/year membership to play $10 games. Membership comes with a free on entree meal on your birthday and free dessert. They have tables with a game board built in (I heard they paid around $2500 for the table). You can keep playing on the table till the food is ready and when food comes, they’ll install the table top on the table to eat, then after eating, they’ll remove the table top for you to continue playing the game. Some games like “Twilight Imperium” will take 13-17 hours to finish, therefore you may want to reserve the table for 2 days to complete the game. “Dark Tower” electronic board game came out in 1981 was on the $10 shelf. This game is discontinued and not made anymore, but you can still play at this place ? There is one boardgame pub in Seattle, but they say each boardgame pubs has its own characteristics and none of them are the same. Even if you are not into a board game, would be fun to try out once in your life ? ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã?ã?ã?¼ã?«ã??ã?¬ã?¤ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??å?é???ã???ã?ã??ã?é£?äº?ã??ã?ã?ã?æ???ã?å?§ã????ã?ã??ã?¬ã?¹ã??ã?©ã?³? 1300?é¡?ã???ã?²ã?¼ã? ã?ã?ã??ã?ã??ã?å¤???ç?¡æ????ã?å?ºã?ã??ã??ã?ã?????ã?ã?·ã?ªã?¢ã?¹?ã?²ã?¼ã? ?ã?å??ã??ã????$ï¼?ã??ã?«ã?$10ã??ã?«?ã???ã??ã?ã???ã?ã?ã??é??50ã??ã?«ã??ã??100ã??ã?«??ä¼??ã??æ????ã?5ã??ã?«ã?10ã??ã?«å??ã??æ?¾é¡??ã?ã?æ??ã??ã?? ?ä¼????ã?ã?èª?ç??æ?¥?ç?¡æ???ã?é£?äº?ã??ã?ã?ã??ã?¶ã?¼ã??ã?ç?¡æ?????ç?¹å?¸ã?ã?ã??ã??ã??ã?ã?? åº???ã?ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ç?¨ã??ã?¤ã??ã?³ã?°ã??ã?¼ã??ã?«ã?ã?ã??ã?ã?é£?äº?ã??ã????ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã???ã??ã?ã?é£?äº?ã??ã?ã??ã?ä¸??ã??ã?¼ã??ã?«?ã??ä¹?ã??ã?é£?äº?ã?ã?é£??çµ?ã??ã?ã??ã?ã??ã?¼ã??ã?«?ã??å?ã??æ????ã?ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ç¶?ã?ã??ã??ã????ã?ã??ã??ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã?¤ã??ã?³ã?°ã??ã?¼ã??ã?«?ã?2500ã??ã?«??ã?ã????ã?ã?? ã???å»?ç?¤????ã?ã??ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? “Dark Tower” ã??ã?æ??ä½??ã??çµ?äº?ã?ã????13æ??é???ã?ã?ã???è¨?ã?ã???ã?ã?? “Twilight Imperium” ?ã?ã?ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã?ã???ã?ã?? ã?·ã?¢ã??ã?«?ã??1?ã??ã?¼ã??ã?²ã?¼ã? ã??ã??ã?ã?ã???ã??ã?ã?ã??ã??ã?ã???ã??ã???å??æ?§ã?ã???é?ã????ã?ã?? ä¸??ã?ä½?é¨?ã??å?¼??ã?é£?äº?ã??ã???ã?ã?ã?¬ã?¹ã??ã?©ã?³?ã?ã??

Arbor Brewing Company Brewpub Menu with Prices 114 E Washington St, Ann Arbor

I came here for dinner with some friends the other day. The place is very casual and a lot larger on the inside than you’d expect! It was very crowded, and the wait was 40-60 mins. We didn’t mind because we got beer while we waited. I wished there was more standing room space though because it was so crowded it was hard to find space to stand and chat while we waited. Once we were seated in a comfortable booth we ordered more beer. We all loved the beer! It was delicious. I got the sliders for my meal and my husband got the chicken sandwich. The sliders were less than special. They came with onions and pickles on them. There wasn’t much flavor and they weren’t very unique. They reminded me of a burger I’d get at a fast food restaurant. The fries were average. I think the best part was the ranch – it was milky and good. My husband said the sandwich had more bread than chicken, which was disappointing as well. I’d probably only come back here for the beer and go somewhere else to eat. I was disappointed in the food. The menu wasn’t very unique either. Although it was a brewery and I think it’s hard to expect fantastic food from a bar-type establishment. However I have been to other breweries whose food was fantastic. So I think for a place that was this crowded and popular, I’d expect more from their kitchen. The atmosphere was definitely fun and a great place to come with friends for a drink.

Java Punk Coffee – Menu with Prices – 4029 Tutt Blvd, Colorado Springs

Visited today after finding a nearby geocache a few days ago and then researching and reading reviews. First of all, the young ladies at the counter were very helpful when I told them that this was our first time here. I ordered the London Fog for myself, the large apple pecan cinnamon roll (warmed up) and the Sharable Cracker Board to share with my daughter. After ordering, I took some time to look around and really like the decor for the whole shop as well as for each of the cozy spaces throughout. We chose the space with the loveseat, chair, table and table lamp to the right after entering the main area. Very comfortable and plenty of room. The apple pecan cinnamon roll was very good and I will definitely order the London Fog again. My only recommendation for improvement would be that there be more attention to detail/presentation on what is actually listed on the menu, compared to what is served, for the Sharable Cracker Board. The variety and amounts of meats and cheeses, fresh fruits and fresh veggies are as important as the hummus and crackers. I do appreciate that items were brought out, separately, after being identified as missing from the original order. Would I come again? Yes, I would. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, the drinks are delicious and too numerous to list and I would like to try more selections on their food menu.

The Brooklyn Warehouse – Menu with Prices – 2795 Windsor St, Halifax

Went for supper last Friday, Aug 17th. I arrived first and told them 1 other person would be joining me. I did not have a reservation so they said it would be just a minute. They found me a table very promptly and took a reserved sign off table for 4 near the window and seated me there. When my date came in he sat with me and we were given menus. She asked if we would like a drink while we were waiting for our friend. I look surprised and said there are just 2 of us and then she was surprised that we weren’t waiting for someone. Obviously there was a miss communication at some point. It happens and I realise that they were busy. WELL, a rude blonde haired girl came out and and said to me “You told me there were 3 people so that is why I sat you here!!” She was aggressive and I was quite stunned. The gentleman I was with was pretty close to telling her off. Had I not been on a first date with him he would have. When I tried to defend myself she repeated the above again to me and was pretty obnoxious about it. Needless to say we were moved to a smaller table, which I had no problem with at all. I have worked in a restaurant and have many years experience in the hospitality industry. If I treated a guest like that I would have been fired. She cannot talk to people like this! Otherwise the meal was great we had the brisket which is shaped into a burger and the triple cooked chips. Drinks were good too. I have been here 3 times before and always had a good experience with all the staff. Our waiter was excellent and did a detailed explanation of the menus for us.

Subway Restaurants Menu with Prices 8906 Brodie Ln, Austin

This is a message to the owners to reassess Sam as a manager. I ordered two wraps which a friendly guy started to work on, while she stood at the register. He heated up the meat and as soon as he took it out she barked at him; â??thatâ??s too much meat! heâ??s not supposed to have that much!â?. The guy making the sandwiches was super calm and friendly while the manager Sam made the situation super uncomfortable. He asked her how much meat should be on and she told him six inches worth. He checks the menu and read to her that it says 12â? worth. At this point Sam is dumbfounded and backtracks to saying thatâ??s not what she has ever been told and then tells him to add more meat… the entire time just standing at the register not helping move the line and giving bad information to her employees and making customers feel awkward. Shoutout to the guy working there for staying calm and friendly and knowing what even goes in a sandwich. He should be her manager and teach her what goes where and how to interact with people. Wrap was delicious but management was rotten.

Bon Beans Organic Coffee, Tea, & Juice – Menu with Prices – 875 E 9 Mile Rd #3, Pensacola

Bon Beans is for sure a coffee shop you can go to every day and not get bored. The baristas offer a great variety of coffee drinks and even more teas. Milk substitutes (almond, soy, or coconut milk) are also offered at an extra price. Make sure to go every Tuesday for BOGO! Out of the numerous coffee shops I’ve been to. Bon Beans stands out for it’s cute and welcoming interior. There are plenty of board games and books to read along with tables and couches to study. The best drink I’ve gotten so far is the cold brew with sugar free vanilla flavoring. I like my cold brews strong and not too bitter; this one was perfect. I would not recommend the dark chocolate flavoring; it did not taste like dark chocolate and instead more like candy and did not hide the bitterness of the coffee well. I’ve also gotten the mocha frappuccino which had a rich milk chocolate flavor; I had hoped the coffee taste would be more apparent. Most recently, I tried the pumpkin spice latte and was not pleased. The latte tasted nothing like pumpkin spice and was exceptionally bitter. Perhaps I have high expectations after having a Starbucks PSL, but I would not recommend this drink from Bon Beans.

Aslin Beer Company Menu with Prices 847 S Pickett St, Alexandria

Let me clarify this rating – 5 STARS – HANDS DOWN – FOR THE BEER! If I could give more I would. This brewery has a cult-like following for a reason! Best beer!! I was so excited to go drink my favorite (and hard to find) beer in their own new brewery space! Their street parking was a tad difficult (nothing that shouldn’t make you not go!) but I was lucky and scored a front row spot! Upon walking inside you can sit to the left in a giant room with giant tables, or hang a right for a smaller space or pop upstairs where there are some nice chairs and even a couch! They have SO MUCH SPACE! When you walk in there’s a space they sell their aslin swag, which was all pretty great! We made our way to the bar and I asked if I could have a sample. The guy seemed a bit put off, but I explained I couldn’t remember the unique name of the beer I was looking for and wanted to make sure before I got a whole glass. The interaction seemed awkward. We also ordered the burratta. We found seating easy. When the food came out a guy, literally, did a drive by and tossed the food in front of us! We started laughing and asked each other if that really just happened!! I saw it happen to another table too! How awkward again!! The place was SO LOUD we couldn’t talk. It was so noisy you couldn’t hear the music and had to yell to have a simple conversation. Because of how loud it was we decided to leave. It was awful. I hope they consider putting up some sound panels (make them a funky color and they’ll fit right in!) so people can enjoy themselves more. While there were some video games and basketball machines for people to play, it unfortunately contributed to the noise. We even went in other rooms and upstairs to see it if was better and sadly it was not.

Hillcrest Community Church – Menu with Prices – 1601 Martin St, Nashville

It’s an interesting spot. Pretty off-putting when you pull up (ample parking spots in their large lot). The building has no windows on the front, or in the doors. Once you make it through the door to the right of the painted-on logo you’re in a nice, open space. Lots of seating (large community table, high tops, bar, couches, etc), free wifi, and outlets everywhere. If you’re looking for a place to get some work done this might be your spot. When you order it’s “donations only,” which struck me as weird and kinda awkward. I paid $2 for a cup of coffee, thinking I could also tip but that wasn’t an option…I’ll pay more next time for sure. The thing that’s knocking a star off my review was the coffee itself. It’s just fine. Nothing worth writing home about, but you can get better coffee elsewhere. As Crest is positioning themselves in the “make a difference” space this is kinda what I was expecting (sadly). All-in-all, worth a trip and a fantastic place to post up and do some work/play a board game with a friend. The folks are as well

Habanos Cigar Lounge Menu with Prices 301 Peters St SW, Atlanta

I have to say that I was very disappointed in this place. I googled local cigar lounges and I found people on Local Guide that gave it like 4.7 stars. Well this was not my experience at all. First impressions about the neighborhood was that it felt sketchy. Inside there were plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs but I eagerly made my way back to the walk in humidor that was supposed to be well stocked and found most of the shelves bare or almost bare. The selection was pitiful. And $12 for a third rate stick was ridiculous. When the bartender came in to ask what I liked I told him I didn’t see much! Cold but true. But he asked if I liked a mild, medium or strong cigar I said strong. He promptly suggested a dark Cohiba which I promptly rejected because I just bought a box from Cigars Int’L recently and regretted it. Like many Cohibas poor construction and quality. Next he recommended a Macanudo which by no measure is a strong (or IMO) even a decent cigar. Strike 2. Out of desperation I settled on his third recommendation, an Esteban Carreras which I hadn’t heard of but took a chance since he graciously offered to buy it back if I didn’t like it. Well it wasn’t awful but wouldn’t buy again. I was hoping the Martini I ordered would offer some redemption. Well the only top shelf gin in the place was Hendricks so I went with that and asked for a couple of drops of vermouth and stirred with ice. Well I think he forgot the ice and served it in a rocks glass. Ugh! My advice is if you want a satisfying cigar and cocktail to look elsewhere! Avoid!

Vessel Craft Coffee – Menu with Prices – 208 E Main St #1, Norfolk

I came to try some drinks today while waiting for my order at Slide Thru #FAM right next door. Shout out for being so close to one another that I don’t even have to think about it. Today I tried both the dirty chai latte and the oolong lavender cocktail because why get only one drink when you have two hands to carry both? I mean, right? Well first of all, I absolutely loved the staff there. They were both so sweet and kind to me, answered all of my awkward questions that I had about the kind of coffee and drinks they sold, which ones were their favorites, their hours, etc. I was an awkward mess guys, but they made me feel like I was normal for once. So that’s a HUGE plus in my book. Secondly, BOTH drinks were pretty darn amazing, and I now know what I’m going to get almost every single day of my working career since they are a mere few feet away from my office – literally next door in Selden Market. Thank you, thank you so much for being so kind and having delicious drinks. I saved my peanut butter treat for later because lunch. But I think I’m going to have that now… it’s about that time. Seriously check out their store. Try every single drink, every single food item. Try everything. You’ll love it.

Krazy Buffet – Menu with Prices – 8095 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas

The food is not WONDERFUL but for the price $10/adult it is not bad. Plus you get to have a little bit of everything including dessert. The only thing I hate is service here. Yeah I get it’s a buffet and it’s self serving restaurant but at least keep up with refilling my water!! This happens ALL THE TIME! I’ve came so many times and yet, they always fail to refill water. I have to wave at them to get their attention from just standing there talking to their co workers. Last time I came, the lady gave us our check when we were in the MIDDLE of eating our dinner. We were not even close to being done but we gave her the card anyway. She took the check and gave us the receipt. We always leave cash for tip so my husband just signed the receipt without tipping on his card. The lady comes back quickly to take the check and pauses as she saw that he didn’t leave any tip and looked at him. From that awkward pause, my husband looked at the server and told her that we will leave cash tip. After that, she literally stood so close to our table and stared at us until we left… I made eye contacts with her so many times from how much she was staring down at us… she was so quick about the check but why did she not feel the need to refill the drinks?! It was completely empty lol. I kept on pouring my OWN water to my husbands cup who drinks more than I do.. If it was me, I wouldn’t have left much tip but my husband left her 20% tip. Of course as soon as we stood up to leave, she came by to pick up the cash. I don’t think she deserved it though.. she didn’t do anything but to make us feel like we need to leave the restaurant ASAP lol
