First of all What is everyone comparing this BLAND, TASTLESs, WHITE BREAD, too? No matter what they call it on the wrapper. It all taste the same. Also most market are dominated by their Tasteless wonder bread, I call it that, because in a blind taste test you would not be able to tell one type of bun from the next. Also for and area with such a low minimum wage. You really do work for Franz bread. They are always the most expensive choice. The people who have posted about them being Bargain Quality Product, need to really try some other bakerys out their. They will quickly see what I am saying. Even their Doughnuts not only fall apart ; and are flavorless too for the most part. When you really come down to it. The only thing Quality, Premium, about the bakery Brand FRANZ products IS THE PRICE THEY CHARGE YOU!!!

Franz Bakery Outlet Store – Menu with Prices – 430 E Casino Rd, Everett

So happy that Franz took over the old Hostess Building. It’s similar to what Hostess had to offer only a WHOLE lot healthier. They still have a items similar to Hostess, like the Little Debbie line, but nothing like Wonder Bread… Franz has bread that’s better than what Hostess had to offer. Franz even has discounted, Multi Grain organic bread! I give Franz extra points for not double packaging their Multi Grain bread like Orowheat does… I really don’t need to get rid of more plastic bags… I was there on Opening day… they did a lot of work cleaning up the property… all looks good. I wish Franz much success at all their new, former Hostess, locations in the Northwest!

Park Place Donuts Menu with Prices 4515 Matlock Rd # 115, Arlington

I’m extremely picky about doughnuts. Until today, I had never eaten one that comes anywhere near holding a candle to Shipley’s. All doughnuts are compared to Shipley’s and they just don’t cut the Mustard so I normally don’t even bother eating them if they aren’t from my favorite chain. That all changed today! Park Place has the only donuts I’ve ever had that rival my favorite chain, and they are very reminiscent of Shipley’s. The quality, flavor, and consistency are all top notch. The price was right, and they had my favorite brand of chocolate milk, Oak Farms. It is just a great tasting, even consistency, flavorful chocolate milk. I purchased three doughnuts: one glazed, one cinnamon sugar, one chocolate iced. When I looked in the bag after I left, the employee who helped me had snuck in three doughnut holes too! They were all scrumptious and melted all too quickly in my mouth despite trying to savor them as long as possible. On top of that, the staff was very friendly, quick, and attentive. I was greeted the moment I walked in and they helped me immediately. There were several other customers there including an older gentleman who was walking pretty roughly with a cane. He bought a huge box of assorted doughnuts and after he paid, one of the employees helped him out to his car, secured his box of deliciousness in his back seat, helped him get in and watched as he backed out to make sure he left safely and then turned and waved to me as I drove off. THAT is customer service. My hat’s off to this establishment. Great product, great price, great service and caring employees. If you love doughnuts definitely stop by when you’re in Arlington.

Franz Bakery Outlet – Menu with Prices – N, 3024 N Monroe St, Spokane

Great staff! When I call ahead, they set aside limited quantities of gluten free multi grain bread loaves for me! All kinds of Franz products, some fresh, as well as lots of day olds, most at discounted prices. Regular flavor Cyrus O’Leary pies are all just $5.99 each. A punch card system earns you free goodies.

Strapworks.com – Menu with Prices – 3900 W 1st Ave, Eugene

Ordered a 1″ strap with fixed loops at each end including a cam buckle. The order did take a little longer than expected ( about 2 weeks ) although customer service did respond quickly via email when I inquired. The product itself was quality and the buckle held firmly. I use these straps for a makeshift TRX system for working out so I trust the quality with my life! The price was about 35 for 2 straps. 2 quality handles with a carabiner were only 20 from another company on Amazon. The TRX system is about 150-200 so I think this is a much better deal and quite effective. I am sure there are other companies with similar products but this would be hard to beat for the price and quality.

Country Kitchen-Le Page Bakery – Menu with Prices – 276 Warren Ave, Portland

This place is terrific. You can get most all of your bread products here at a steeply discounted price. They have a large assortment of various kinds of bread products. You can get bread, Bagels, buns, pastries, cookies, donuts. The two ladies that work here are very accommodating and are very personable. They remember our family even though we don’t come to the store but maybe once every 3 weeks. Even though this is an outlet and the bread products are approaching their expiration date, the items have not expired and we can grab a half dozen or so and simply freeze them. I have never been dissatisfied with any of the products that I purchased here because they were stale. However, there are several brands for which I don’t personally care to eat. The store is very easily accessible off of Warren Ave and has ample parking. We usually visit the store once a month and would recommend that other people shop here as well. If this review helped, please hit the like button. Thank you.

Franz Bakery Outlet Menu with Prices 156 Kelly Rd, Bellingham

They’re good people working for this company. I accidentally broke my wife’s favorite preserve and they replaced it. I have bought some amazing breads from Franz. They have special’s that I take advantage off because well, who doesn’t like free stuff. If you say you don’t you lying. Stop by and buy some amazing bread especially, when you need to break bread to share.

Atlanta Smokehouse Products LLC – Menu with Prices – 1700 Enterprise Way, Marietta

I schlepped out here one afternoon last week in search of a certain quantity of high-quality smoked fish to serve at a party. The location is weird–an office park off Windy Hill, in what looks like it could be the headquarters of a mid-sized pool cleaning business. But this is not a pool-cleaning business–it is, in fact, a small but well-stocked retail outlet for all things Russian and pickled, salted, and–thanks be to God–smoked. The smoking, both hot and cold, is done in-house, behind the shop–hence the wacky location. After tasting a few items, I bought a large side (~3 lb) of smoked salt-and-pepper nova salmon ($30), a half-side of smoked butterfish (which I think is actually sable, $27), a cold-smoked trout ($8), and an 8-oz. jar of salmon caviar ($14). The fish was truly some of the highest quality I’ve ever had–silky yet toothsome, with a deep, smoky flavor and a woodsy aroma. The butterfish had a pale, firm flesh, and was cut a bit thicker, which nicely highlighted the slightly springy texture of the flesh. I did not get to taste the trout as it was quickly picked clean; however, the animals I call friends all tell me it was premium. The salmon caviar (the large, reddish-pink eggs) was reasonably good–this is not a product made by the smokehouse, and was middle-of-the-road in terms of the quality they have available. All but the trout were frozen when I bought them, but neither the texture nor the flavor appeared to suffer from that at all. Service was provided by a delightful woman who made honest recommendations and opened a few products to give me tastes, including the whitefish salad and the salmon spread. They were both a bit rich for my taste, and I didn’t love the flavor of the whitefish, but the salmon spread would be killer on a fresh bagel or stuffed into an olive. Other products available include cured meats and sausages, a variety of dairy products including farmer’s cheeses, pickled tomatoes/cucumbers/grape leaves/etc., Russian cookies/candy/canned things/etc. and these amazing frozen chocolate-covered cheesecake confections. (On a side note, do not miss the amazing frozen chocolate-covered cheesecake confections.) Who’s Barney Greengrass, again? Whatever. Atlanta Smokehouse’s quality is unbeatable, period. And the price is terrific. And it’s locally made by nice people. They should be very proud of the product they’re selling, and you should buy as much of it as you can fit into your fridge.

Peace, Love and Little Donuts of Fort Collins – Menu with Prices – 632 S College Ave, Fort Collins

I’m addicted to this place, even though I don’t normally like doughnuts. The price is high, but YUM!! I did find that the decorating quality varies with who is working that day: newsflash, young guys don’t care and don’t do a great job with getting all the icing and toppings on right. One day I went early and the frosting wouldn’t stick because she said it had just come out of the refrigerator. She just kept trying to dip it instead of spreading it on with a utensile… so those ended up not having much frosting. With those prices, it had better be damn perfect, I feel. Even so, I like these doughnuts a lot!!! Please train staff a bit better for consistency.

Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard – Menu with Prices – 11105 Leavells Rd, Leavells Crossing Dr Unit # 6, Fredericksburg

My family loves Ritas & we patronize this location heavily each spring through fall as local Fredericksburg residents. Being a small, independent business owner myself I understand the importance of great customer service, and friendly, fair, courteous service ~ especially in a small community. Each visit to Ritas one can expect a short wait as this location is only a service window BUT the wait as of late is becoming ridiculous! There are 2 windows and most of the time the staff operates from 1 window only as they watch the line grow longer & longer with no sense of urgency. There seems to be no cause for expedited service with the employed staff OR the owners alike. Speaking of the owners……on 4/5/18 my boys and I stopped by during spring break. The right side of the electronic menu board was working, the left side was not; it was roaming, leaving the descriptions of products blank. My 14 y/o son thought what he’d ordered in the past was the Blendini but he wasn’t sure because descriptions of all products was not visible. He ordered the Blendini. Once it was presented to him he quickly realized that was not what he wanted. The unprofessional female OWNER would not exchange it for the desired product. I had already paid & was willing to cover the difference if there was one. THEN we watched her prepare the wrong product for a kid in line RIGHT BEHIND US and exchange her product as requested due to error. Wow! We were baffled. Fredericksburg is a small community and it takes us ALL to either keep a business open OR help it shut its doors. We won’t return for a while and will discourage our peers, colleagues, and family from returning as well. This is beach season….visit the actual store location in Hampton, VA on your way to Virginia Beach. Quality products, friendlier service, and owners who are not greedy!

Hye Quality Bakery – Menu with Prices – 2222 Santa Clara St, Fresno

I’ve been buying the sesame wheat lavash from Hye Quality Bakery for years. I used to purchase from Valley Lahvash, but they downsized the number of crackers you get in each package, while increasing the price. With Hye Quality Bakery being just down the street, I gave them a try. In comparing the two bakeries I found the Hye Quality to have a lighter texture. The Valley Lavash cracker was too hard and clunky. Maybe this is why my grandmother always splashed the Valley Lavash with water before eating? I know that Valley Lavash gets all the fame and glamor. They have been in business longer than Hye Quality. They have a fancy website with recommendations from major newspapers. They have Facebook and a colorful website. Don’t let all that fool you! When you go to the store you are greeted by one employee, who just basically, is a cashier. Most likely they never grew up eating Armenian food, and can not exchange in a food conversation. At Hye Quality Bakery, on the other hand, you are greeted by someone versed in Armenian cuisine. You generally see three generations of family on any given visit. They are personable and friendly, passing down good work ethics to their great and grand children. Hye Quality ships their product world wide, but they bring down home charm to the local customer. Their premises are always spic and span. I love supporting a wholesome company with a great product, at a great price with great family values!

Stroehman Thrift Store – Menu with Prices – 5970 Derry St, Harrisburg

I like the good prices on things like bread, cereal, English muffins, crackers, and on and on. Many times the bread products will have the same sell-by date as the day you are there. Others, like cereal, have earlier dates but if sealed, the are fine and cost half or less than half the price at grocery stores. They don’t have every product every time, but since they do not change the lay-out or crowd the aisles with displays, you always know where to look. Sometimes there are check-out lines, but things move faster because the cashier is no-nonsense and there is a bagger. Besides, you get to meet all kinds of people while waiting in line!

Detwiler’s Farm Market – Menu with Prices – 6100 N Lockwood Ridge Rd, Sarasota

We love coming to Detwiler’s! Everything is clean, fresh and plentiful. The entire staff at Detwiler’s is friendly and knowledgeable. We can’t stop raving about how INEXPENSIVE everything is especially with all the organic products they carry. We love the fresh meat selection and the fresh baked goods. To be perfectly honest, the only thing that we are not impressed with is the ice cream that is served from the open case up front. We were very disappointed with the quality and the taste. But the server was very nice. Our suggestion is to get a better quality ice cream (to compare to the high quality of the rest of the products in the store… Something like Big Olaf or Bryer’s ice cream perhaps. Even a quality like Publix brand would be a LOT better). But that’s the only negative thing about Detwiler’s! (I don’t like mentioning negative things but I think it’s important to know.)
