I was just in the area visiting my friend and wanted BBQ for lunch. Googled and this came up. Although it was empty when I pulled up, I ordered everything (almost)!! I haven’t have BBQ in a while so I had to be greedy and try everything!! Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, mac & cheese, fried okra, hash and rice and banana pudding for dessert. Oh and I didn’t forget the sweet tea!! I wasn’t disappointed at all. If your ever in Augusta stop here and eat this man’s AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS BBQ!!! I wasn’t disappointed! Stop in and even challenge him to a game of bones or bid wiz!! ð???

Undisputed Craft House – Menu with Prices – 1881 Saul Kleinfeld Dr, El Paso

I had read about this place so i was anxious to check it out. I finally did last night…was kinda disappointed. I was given a beer menu that was January’s….then another one for February. Im guessing the beers keep changing because they didnt have the one I picked for January’s menu. Had a young girl that wasnt too helpful in helping me in picking the beers. I asked her what i mostly drank and wanted to see was similar to my choices…she had no answer. She wasnt rude, but not helpful… When I walked in I noticed that the place was too lit. Thought it was bar not a Barnes n Nobles. The crowd seemed pretty chill and the music playing had variety which was a plus. Not a bad place but was expecting a lottle more.

Fresh Smoothies & Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2450 Creston Ave, The Bronx

I would like to think it was because I came in 15 min to closing but that shouldnt change the attitude that you have towards the customer. I walked in and the ladies were talking they looked at me and continued talking. Very disrespectful didnt get greeted or anything, so I said excuse me and asked for what I wanted. Then I told her ill buy an orange juice aswell only for the simple fact that I wanted to see the machine working she stated that the machine is off and the juice was premade that defeated the purpose of wanting the juice so I didnt get it, but They have a lil process that’s done to meet customers satisfaction they serve you an ounce or 2 of w.e. smoothie you ordered to taste for perfection incase you want to add anything or change anything but as I get my sample the lady started to pour it in the cup, didnt wait for my opinion. It wasnt as cold as I would have wanted it to be but didnt wanna start anything I just said it was fine. The one moping gets mad because my boots were dirty she told me to stand by the door and the other lady tells me to come over to the cashier to pay and the one mopping gets mad. I just think for a first time experience on a Friday night it should have been a little better.. I’ll come again another time maybe I’ll change my rating but as of now very disappointed

Kava Hookah Lounge – Menu with Prices – 1007 W University Ave, Gainesville

Got there around 230iish and it wasnt packed but there were a decent amount of people there. Unfortunately we had to wait almost 45 mins to get a hookah and there wasnt a place to sit! The music was hip hop and rap (mainly trap) so it was deff a turnt up atmosphere. They didnt sell any drinks though ð??© once we finally did manage to get a seat the hookah was almost out and they were about to close. By that time they were finally coming to give us another cole but it kinda was a waste â?â??? just wish they wouldve had more hookas available and more seating space or even a dance floor maybe. Other then that the atmosphere was nice and we enjoyed the music.

Tommy’s Detroit Bar & Grill – Menu with Prices – 624 3rd Ave, Detroit

We’ve been coming to Tommy’s Bar & Grill for years, it’s a great place to go before, after, or even during a game (you don’t need to be a sports fan to enjoy the place). You are always greeted w a smile and a warm, endless bowl of free popcorn (don’t forget the butter!). The menu and drinks are reasonably priced. The burgers, our favorite, are made fresh and nicely seasoned; there are all sorts of toppings available to change things up. Even those looking for healthy options won’t be disappointed; from sweet potato fries to salads, there is lots available. Don’t be surprised if Tommy stops by for a quick chat; be sure to ask him about the long history of the bar, and area, it’s quite colorful. Parking is available next door. And last but not least I must mention Tommy’s free shuttle bus that on game nights runs back and forth to Little Carsars Arena, dropping you off closer than you can park, generally; it’s always a good time. We never go anywhere else when we are in town for a hockey game! Kathy & Tom from Sarnia, Ontario.

Luichi’s Hot Dog’s – Menu with Prices – 603 Montague St, Rockford

It’s amazing how difficult it is to find a decent Italian Beef/Sausage combo in this town, even though there seems to be an Italian restaurant on every other corner. Most have boiled meat placed on a grill for a minute or so and slapped in a bun before they’re even cooked. Luichi’s does it right. Cooked to perfection, with the right amount spices and Giardiniera, these sandwiches are what I’ve been searching for. It’s a bare bones place more or less suited for carry-out but there are a few tables if you decide to dine in. Forget the chains….. stop at Luichi’s.

Sandy’s Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 6940 Space Village Ave, Colorado Springs

Excellent customer service! Made to feel at home no matter who you are. Been there twice now and everyone I have talked to were nice and made sure I was comfortable while I was waiting for my order. Restaurant was busy and staff energetic, keeping the place clean and in order. Some of the breakfast items on the menu are absolutely HUGE!(They have smaller portion options) For example, my first visit my 6 egg(Yes! Six eggs!!!) Denver omelette was full of ingredients and tasty… worth every penny! The second time, I tried the Country Fried Steak which wasnt gigantic(but you get 3 eggs with it), was great and didnt taste like it came out of a freezer package and was worth the try, as well. You get country potatoes and toast with breakfast or you can forgo that to opt for 2 pancakes or 2 french toast or 2 biscuits and gravy for an upcharge. I opted for the biscuits and gravy… They were only ok the first time, due to a strange sweet taste, but were super the 2nd time and I was happy I gave them a second chance. Even with that small inconsistency, both visits were 5 stars! I’m ecstatic that I found this place on Yelp. It’s going to be my stop to grab breakfast from now on. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed. Just know… they do not have all day hours… more like, brunch hours. ***Edit: Saw reviews stating that it’s cash only… They take credit cards now.

Lychee Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 23450 N 19th Ave, Phoenix

This review is based off of my main dish. I ordered the spicy tuna roll. Which is difficult to mess up. Its spicy so theres a kick present. But its ever so slight. I had to amp it by adding wasabi to each bite. I ordered the General Tsos Chicken. Which on the menu has an indicator letting you know its spicy. It wasnt. It tasting literally like maple syrup. There was no spice present. There wasnt even a smokey flavor. It was just sweet. I couldnt eat another bite without an adjustment made. So i asked for a side of chili oil. Even their chili oil had literally no spice to it. And i used the entire portion of chili oil they provided me with. Probably because its very old or just poorly made. It didnt even make my chicken any better. I picked at the veggies at the plate, requested my check and left. The service was prompt, courteous and friendly. But I guess I feel that I dont go to a resturant for service necessarily but instead i go for the food. But thats just me. I dont believe I will be going back unless its for their Thai Iced Tea. Which I hate to say it was the only tasty thing I ordered. Disappointing considering its a new spot. But Im hoping they make adjustments to their menu otherwise they may not last. Especially since Panda Express is just up the street with better flavors.

Sharifa’s Hookah Lounge & Bar Menu with Prices 730 Broad St, Augusta

We are new to Augusta but not new a hookah we’re from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and patronize lots of different hookah lounges within our home town. We went to Sharifas and was very disappointed. First of all they only have one hose hookahs so you have to share and switch tips if sharing a hookah within a large group. Also me and my husband sat for well over 15 minutes while are coals were heated up which nobody gave us a Time expectancy. The gentleman that served us or took our order was very friendly very sweet. After we waited over 15 minutes my husband and I decided to ask for a refund because it was taking too long while the Owners sat in the front smoking hookah we’re just sitting in the back looking around like what’s going on. The gentleman that served us decided to give us a refund while the woman that was sitting with him I’m assuming his boss started arguing with us very unprofessional as she sat in the chair smoking hookah with her leg over the arm of the chair started berating us for wanting a refund and talking over my husband as my husband complained about the time it took to heat up the coals and there was no communication. I asked a woman to stop talking to my husband that way and she says to me” I wasn’t talking to you”! Any other day this would have ended badly but I have matured and learned to choose my battles the gentleman stayed quiet the whole time handed me cash which we paid for with a card at the beginning of the transaction. I said thank you I took the cash and we walked outside trying to get my husband out of there as soon as possible because him and the female we’re going back and forth arguing. When I got outside I realize they shorted me a dollar so I went back inside and gave the money to the gentleman and said he had shorted me a dollar the gentleman took the money back quickly went to the register to give me the right amount the female owner was still talking stuff and says give him an extra $5!!! just to be smart I did not take the extra $5 she was implying that we were broke. When actually it was a service that caused us to ask for a refund and leave their establishment. I would give this place no stars. I know that Augusta is small and there’s not a lot to do the find another hookah bar you will be disappointed.

Birdie Bowl & Juicery – Menu with Prices – 3313 Hyland Ave, Costa Mesa

Came here during my lunch with my coworkers and enjoyed every minute of it! Very refreshing and filling as well! Its a nice break from all the grease and fried food i was eating and i felt so healthy after eating it even though im def not LOL please give this place a try sometime if you love acai bowls! Pros: – Staff is very friendly here! She was really patient with me when I was ordering my food! her friend was the customer before me and they were talking for a while but i didnt mind and she kept apologizing to me for that so it was awesome of her for being aware of that but tbh, i didnt mind! – Theyre menu has everything for everyone! you can definitely find something here for you that youd like and you can also do add ons as well! I ordered the Pitaya colada but i subbed the pitaya for acai! i LOVE toasted coconuts in my acai bowls and cranola as well so this bowl was screaming my name! – When you pick up your order, they have extra toppings at the station too! They have agave, brown sugar and honey! I LOOOVE honey on my bowls so i kept coming back after eating each layer of my bowl. a lot of places don’t offer this but i appreciated that birdie has this for their customers! Mehs: – i wish my bowl was a little bit sweeter! maybe its because im the most unhealthiest person in the world but i got tired of my bowl after a while because it wasnt sweet enough! Cons: None

Meshack’s Bar-B-Que – Menu with Prices – 240 E Avenue B, Garland

Another highly recommended place that just proves some people have zero idea what good would be even if it hit them in the face. This may have been amazing 20 yrs ago – but today, compared to the high end bbq movement sweeping Texas (Ive eaten at most of the Tx Monthly top 10-15 joints too), this isnt even dickies level que. Some people like the novelty of a take out only shack with no seating. Fine. Some people like The idea of drowning bbq in sauce ( they prob like well done steak Too). Whatever. Im actually ok With the chaos that is the parking lot here. Running out quickly isnt even that bad to me. It keeps the daily product fresh usually and not a case of chopping yesterday’s leftovers into the 2 nd tier dishes like chopped sandwiches and baked potatoes. But when youre charging top dollar for mediocre beef, with none of the overhead other, much better places, have at the same price point – im out. We ordered sliced beef sandwiches, and knew the dining situation before arriving. However eating this sandwich in my truck, or even on the tailgate was impossible. It had an inch of sauce swimming in the foil. So much that BOTH bottom slices of bread were soaked through and just a wet mess. Even if i took this back to the office I would have had to eat it with a knife and fork because that sauce would be everywhere. It wasnt just a little too much. It was a ridiculous amount. But i know why. The sliced beef was DRY. Sure it had a good smoke ring and the bark had a decent flavor, but the pieces i pulled off and shook sauce off of were void of any moisture other than the actual sauce. The sauce wasnt even good. Very thin and watery. I couldnt put my finger on it but it had a sort of vinegary punch that wasnt pleasant at all. I am convinced it was thin and poured in excess to try and soak into, and mask the dry beef. Theres no other legit explanation for doing that. Serving $8 sandwiches on white bread is also a pet peave of mine. Thats what a hustler with a run down bbq trailer does in a strip club parking lot at 1:30 am. Not an established “legendary” bbq restaurant. At least a legit bun would have fended off some of the sauce for a little bit. To top it off, when we finished eating, i had to haul a gallon of bbq sauce in a paper bag off to the gas station trash and hope it didnt spill because there wasnt a trash can anywhere in sight. Not in the parking lot or out front. Which really made me question why there were so many flies around. Seriously- the flies when we ordered were BAD, but they were out in the lot too. Not worth a second trip, or a first one if you have taste buds or wearing nice clothes you dont want sauce on.

On the Fly Sandwiches & Stuff- – Menu with Prices – 655 W Adams St, Jacksonville

I write this review with a heavy heart. I’ve debated quite extensively whether or not to leave this review but my experience is what it was. I’m not a hater. I have no agenda. I can only express my experience and what happened. Access to this food truck is great! From my office, it’s within walking distance. They also have a limited “dine-in” area where you can sit at tables. Very cool. I ordered the “cheesy wet burrito” or something labeled similarly. My burrito had skrimp and pulled pork. I was explained that the burrito was $10 for chicken, $12 for half skrimp and pulled pork or half skrimp and chicken, and $14 for ALL SKRIMP. I chose half skrimp and half pulled pork. 12 bones later, I waited for my burrito anxiously!!! After a hot minute, I received my burrito. I reckon a highlight of my burrito was the sweet On The Fly sauce on the burrito. However, being a burrito aficionado, this burrito was subpar at best. The only thing making my burrito an actual burrito was the fact that it was wrapped in tortilla. The burrito had skrimp, pulled pork, corn, and beans. 4….separate…flavors. On top was tomatoes, sour cream, On The Fly sweet sauce, and avocado. Next to the burrito was shredded lettuce. The burrito was just ok and edible but by no means amazing or epic. For $12, I expected a lot more; more flavor and more cohesion. I’ll give this food truck another chance by ordering something else but if you’re feigning for a burrito, your desire won’t be satisfied. Please don’t let my review deter you from ordering from this food truck. Most people seem to like this place. Maybe I didn’t order the right food item. I do plan to visit again and try something else and I promise to update my review accordingly.

Big T’s Mill St BBQ Company – Menu with Prices – 242 Mill St, Worcester

We went to Big T’s Mill Street Barbecue for dinner. Bottom line, it was OK. My wife got a pulled chicken slider with roasted veg, and she enjoyed it quite a bit. I wanted to try a little of everything so I ordered their “BBQ Sundae” with brisket, pulled pork and a couple of St. Louis ribs added in. It came with Mac n cheese under the pulled pork and beans and cornbread under the brisket and a side of rice. My lasting impression was that other than the ribs the food was cooked well but no distinct flavor. No hint of smoke. No spice or bark. The mac was cheesy, tasty, and not over cooked. The sauce which was mixed in with the pulled pork made it moist but didn’t add much dimension. The sauce over the brisket was thick and sweet but one-dimensional. The ribs though disappointed, they were cooked well with a good bite, not fall off the bone, but the thing that disappointed was that they clearly reheated them over the grill and while doing so burned them, not charted – burnt – giving them an aftertaste of ashtray. The restaurant itself is gorgeous – really nicely done and a pretty solid bar selection. All in all, out of 5. Good, not to die for, and let down on the ribs but I’d give them another shot hoping the ribs are usually better.
