I used I love this place. USED TO. Now that this place has gotten too busy for its customers, the slacking is showing. Besides the declining customer service, the food has gotten bad too. The past few orders have been very disappointing. They have a “breakfast bowl” that comes with eggs, your choice of meat and cheese and home fries. The last time I ordered it, it came with French fries; without them even bothering to call to say that they “run out” of home fries on Saturdays (which is what someone literally just told me on the phone not 5 mins ago) and they don’t bother to make more. How about take that item off of your menu then??? Who the hell wants French fries when you’re expecting home fries? Besides that, they’ve sent burnt bacon, iced coffee spilled in the bag, delivery people with attitudes. It’s very sad because this place was great when we first started ordering from them. We would order every Saturday for breakfast and never once had an issue. The funniest was when I made a complaint and they had the delivery guy ask me why I complained. Really?? So the owner or manager is too much of a coward to ask themselves?? Sorry, but you LOST a very good customer.

The Bean Whole – Menu with Prices – 2155 E 2100 S, Salt Lake City

Coffee snobs… hear me out! I am a coffee snob, I admit it. When I go camping in the Colorado Rockies, I have my pop-up camper, a fishing pole by the truck and my french press on the counter. Yes… I take my french press, my ‘The Bean Whole’ coffee and grinder with me on my trip to the mountains. The Bean Whole coffee is bought by me and given as Christmas gifts to tons of people here in Colorado. It is one of my favorite things to drink that contains caffeine and keeps people around me safe. This man is my hero. He started roasting his coffee the old fashioned way (ask him, it’s a funny story) and then started experimenting. It grew into a business that he works at part time, he is open on Saturdays from 8:30am-2pm. It’s his passion, his shop is tiny, his smile is HUGE and he LOVES what he does. Go out and help a local man who knows what he’s doing and doing it right! P.S. Try his cold brew, it’ll change your life.

Taqueria Maravatio – Menu with Prices – 2618 W 59th St, Chicago

i honestly used to come here all the time their food is delicious but i must say, lately the service has been horrible. the girls there waitress and cashier have horrible attitudes. i understand we are human and sometimes we all have those bad days. but if youre going to work in a field in which you need to be a people person and have good customer service skills, you need to be able to put on a happy face when greeting a customer and serving them appropriately. not once did these girls come to our table to see if we needed anything. not once did they ask how our service was or our food. we had to get up 3 times walk to them to get something we needed utensils, a cup and our to go container. it also seemed as if they were rushing us out. when i got up to get a cup she handed me my receipt and total.. uummmm we werent done eating and she wanted me to pay already. they were speaking pretty loud to each other it was obvious they were speaking about us because they were cursing! so unprofessional. i honestly felt horrible because i took a friend with me and on the way i was telling her it was one of my favorite spots. we will not be returning. due to their unprofessional services and how disrespectful they were to us! i hope this review helps them realize they need to be equal to everyone when servicing them. polite and professional. instead of stocking the soda and cleaning out the coffee machine take a few minutes to walk to yiur customers table and ask how their food is. is there anything they need. and if there is something you didnt like about your customers save it until they are out the door. it makes you and the business look horrible.

Silver Dollar Pancake House – Menu with Prices – 710 E 6th St, Corona

This place feels like home. Visited here recently for the first time, on a whim. We were nearby at an early Saturday appointment and needed to fill an hour so husband and I headed out in search of breakfast. Looked up my “Saves” on Yelp and this was very close to where we needed to be. It was a “No-brainer” because of the high reviews. I was taken aback by the neighborhood and the condition of the place, not what I was expecting. There were many sketchy people walking about and I wasn’t sure how safe it would be. BUT! the high marks must mean something so we proceeded. We were seated immediately. There was LOTS of seating available but we were given the least popular spot, in the corner next to the bathroom. I am a trooper so I did not ask for a different seat. The smell coming from the bathroom every time the door opened did not help the atmosphere. But this place is OLD and you can not expect too much from OLD pipes. We were greeted quickly and offered coffee and time to decide. The menu choices and prices were both appetizing. I ordered French Toast and husband ordered Swedish Pancakes (his favorite, which he makes at home often). The food was fast, hot, and good sized, taste was okay, not as good as what we were expecting, but still good enough. We both left a little on our plates. The coating for the French toast tasted like straight eggs, so that was a little disappointing. My husband had a complaint to me about the quality of his Swedish pancake, but I don’t recall what it was specifically. Happily though, the bacon and sausage were better than the other items we had, cooked just right, big, and not too greasy or fatty. Coffee was good and the server was attentive with the refills. Mid-way into our meal, the place became PACKED and because of the acoustics and the layout, it was LOUD and chaotic sounding. At that point, I was glad that we were in the corner and not in the center of the room. For me, I saw all the chatter as a good sign of regulars chatting with each other and with the servers. So that’s why I said, “Feels like home.” From the hostess, to the server, to the coffee attendant, each one was genuinely jovial and happy to serve. There was a line of people waiting to be seated when we left. A+ on service B- on food C-D on atmosphere A on price/value We will try it again when we are in the area at the same time.

Galeria Cafe – Menu with Prices – 121 Franklin St, Jersey City

1st time experience : Super cute place on Franklin near the Stop n Shop/ShopRite (I cant remember what it is rn, hah!) Anyway, super affordable breakfast!!! ($4.75 for 2eggs, homefries, bacon) Personally, I think it is MUCH higher quality than Rumba’s on centeal. You get actual homefries instead of French fries, something I will always choose over fries for breakfast. They also had empanadas; I had a Colombian beef and chicken, both were great but the salsa on the side wasn’t anything special. The coffee was amazing, 100% Colombian! Not included in the meal like it is for Rumba’s but it’s in a real mug not a styrofoam cup, yay. WILL be returning!!!

Man vs Fries – Menu with Prices – 2307 International Blvd, Oakland

When I found out about this new place with carne asada fries in the east bay, was super excited! ? Been on the hunt for a decent place and this place is tasty, with a unique spin on it. My first encounter with Man vs Fries was via delivery. My roommate shared her breakfast burrito and asada fries with waffle fries. Not sure the route of the delivery guy on the Saturday morning- but fries were pretty soggy when it got to us. Still, it was a good amount of everything- guac, sour cream, nacho cheesey cheese (this def isnt San Diego), and a side of this tasty queso. Breakfast burrito is massive- we split it into thirds and still a good amount. We agreed it could use something to cut the flavor and heaviness/dryness of the potatoes and meat better (like sour cream or more salsa). Second encounter: At first, I had thought this place might be delivery only, but saw a post of the actual location and wanted to give it a try. Went on a weekday after work (maybe 6:30ish?) . The place was a little tough to find but good ol’ Google led the way. I was lucky to get a spot, but looks like its pretty much all street parking. Empty inside- a pretty large space with minimal decor, but clean! ? Always a plus. Cashier was friendly too. Ordered asada fries to go with straight fries- it took a little more than 15 minutes. Felt a little surprising since I was the only one there, but not sure if they were just backlogged with delivery orders or maybe my expectations are off on this. Left the box open while driving home to prevent the sogginess and munched on some on the way. The fries were waaaay better fresh. Also the straight fries seem to have the same seasoning as the waffle fries (the kind of seasoning that you would taste on a curly fry), which was pretty good and flavorful, and not something I have encountered in SoCal (personally wanted traditional fries but thats okaayyy, these are yummy too). They also definitely stuffed the box with fries as much as possible, which I appreciate. ? The fries were my favorite part of these asada fries. This time around, it was a cilantro overkill and I could barely find the guacamole. ? The meat was good but felt like it could be a little more flavorful. But I would still go back! And try their other stuff. ? or even try the same things and hope I get a better guac to cilantro ratio.

Crystal Mountain Water – Menu with Prices – 275 Quality Cir NW, Huntsville

I’ve had two accounts for many years. I think it’s been around 9 years. Have one account at work, and had one account at home. I had to cancel the home account because the delivery schedule changed almost every month. I would get random deliveries, or not get a delivery at all. Sometimes my empty bottles would sit outside for a month. I just couldn’t keep storing empties until I hit the delivery lottery. My work account has been great, though. And the customer service has been pretty good.

Vincent’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 500 Henderson Ave, Staten Island

I’m always ordering breakfast, and sometimes lunch from here, the minimum is decent $10, and the delivery is very fast!!! The customer service is great also, if they don’t have something available that I ordered on seamless they will contact me right away. The breakfast sandwich is so easy to order online! Basically giving you ever option possible to add what you will like. The sandwich itself is also very good! My husband enjoys his on a everything bagel, while I always take mine on a roll. Recently we ordered cold cut sandwiches, and they were HUGE!!! Bread was nice and soft, and even though we asked for so much on the sandwich they didn’t forget a thing!!!! As long as they keep up the great delivery service I will continue to order my breakfast & lunch from here. They have so many things on the huge menu that I want to try.

Javahz Cafe Espresso – Menu with Prices – 4330 W El Prado Blvd, Tampa

A wonderful throwback to the neighborhood, Mom N’ Pop coffee shop and Breakfast hang-out of days gone by. The fact that the food is excellent (Three-meat breakfast burrito) and the coffee is delicious (I had the French Roast Blend) just adds icing on the cake. Sure, when they are packed with customers it takes a little while to get your order, but everything is fresh-made. Nothing is sitting under a heat lamp or waiting to be tossed into a microwave! The owner told me they have been in that location for over 15 years, so obviously, quality counts and they have a loyal customer base. If you’re in South Tampa and want some excellent Java, stop by Ja-Vahz for a great, mellow, time.

Maniac Roasting Menu with Prices 2000 Franklin St #101, Bellingham

I am not a coffee aficionado though I do like coffee. I buy from Alexarc at Maniac because he is nice, it is local and organic and fairly traded and smells amazing when I cycle by. BUT the last few days we had a French couple stay in our Airbnb and they WERE coffee connoisseurs and they wouldn’t stop going on about the quality of the coffee. They said a French press was the only way to go and just raved about it. So there you are. If it’s good enough for French coffee snobs it’s good enough for you. Go get it.

Cafe Bonjour / Hi – Menu with Prices – 2054 St Denis St, Montreal

French is a beautiful language and so is English is the business language of the world. Why cant both languages live peacefully in together. Equality is always what we fight for yet a simple bilingual name of a coffee shop is an issue to many. To the owner of this Coffee shop. I support your name as I am fully bilingual and love both languages and its people equally. I wish that the people that are hating on your business for the reason of naming it Bonjour / Hi can see that you cant promote a language by getting rid of another. There are many ways to socially promote the French Language by peace and love that would encourage people from all other languages to want to learn french and speak french. Dont scare away the English people, encourage them to learn the language and to the French people be encouraged to learn the English Language and together we can accomplish greater things together. Quebec can be the most powerful province in all of Canada if we did not have this language barrier separation issue. Enough Said ! Lets go have some great coffee at this wonderful place.

The Marietta Local – Menu with Prices – 148 Roswell St NE, Marietta

We came in a party of 3 on a Saturday around 11:15 and missed the breakfast menu. It was very packed with people both inside and on the outside shaded area. We were greeted and instantly given a menu to look at while we were waiting to order our food. The menu options are plentiful and we decided to get the Chicken N French Toast and Chicken Salad Pita Sandwich + fries. The chicken N French toast was very tasty with the salty/crunchy chicken and the sweet maple/granny apple French toast. It was very good but felt the $12.95 was a high price for the quantity. The chicken salad pita sandwich was unique not only in that the salad had blueberries and loads of grapes in it but also for its thick pita wrap. The pita was very dense and filling and the salad was sweet and tangy. I would definitely recommend this. The French fries were soggy and under seasoned and I discovered later that the cooking staff take a load of already pre-made fries from a large plastic container and plop it on to the dishes. These fries are not freshly made to order and I can see why. Do not order them here. The other sides that other customers ordered appeared much more appetizing and fresh. SUMMARY: Service was very fast given the quantity of customers present and there is a reason why it was packed. There is a strong local Marietta feel and the staff are very efficient and accommodating. The pricing of the food was a little on the higher end and the restaurant is very tiny inside with 1 restroom (I had a wait of 7-8min) but if we are ever in the Marietta Square before 11, we will check out their breakfast menu
