Great experience overall! I came here for the first time to celebrate my friends birthday. We had a reservation and I wanted to surprise my friend with a cake. They were more than happy to put the cake in the fridge while we ate dinner. Also, parking was easy to find. Free parking on the street after 6pm, 2-Hour parking before 6pm. Our waitress was consistently checking in on us, clearing our table when she could. The menu was full of items, big variety. I decided to try the Asian pear sake cocktail and wasn’t disappointed! It had a more subtle sake flavor than I anticipated. We each got a different roll (pictured) and they were all so fresh. I was actually amazed by the rice, it was the perfect texture. After our dinner, they got the cake out for us and even put it on this classy cake stand to take out. I brought candles and they lit them as well. Everyone we interacted with was so polite! I’ll be back!

The Original Momiji Sushi Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 4590 Silverton Rd NE, Salem

Such a a cute place! Went here for an after marathon meal. What I liked about this place said it was close to our hotel and that there were tons of reviews on yelp. We ordered the Gyoza and theAsian pear sake to start our meal. What I liked about the Goza is that there was a lot of meat in there and it was ground perfectly. The Asian pear sake was great and was very smooth and fruity. The volcano roll and the rainbow roll were very jampacked with a lot of flavor. The prices were super reasonable and our book very cheap for Japanese food and with great flavor! The one thing that really surprise me about this place was the Chicken Katsu. The chicken was fried perfectly and the crust was also perfect not too thick not too thin. And then when you pair it up with sushi rice, cucumber, seaweed salad, the sauce and the Katsu… It was perfect.

Specialty Cakes – Menu with Prices – 1560 Wabash Ave, Springfield

If you want the best cake for your event, check out Specialty Cakes! They offer so much more than just cake but for our wedding we were looking specifically for cake. Cake tasting is probably the most exciting and anticipated event during the planning process! Specialty Cakes delivered with excellent flavor, presentation, easy process, and wonderful workers! Even though we all wanted to go taste more cake, we knew in the first few bites that we were sold. Who says a wedding cake has to be a boring white and chocolate cake? This place offers so many great options. My husband and I couldnâ??t make up our minds, so our wedding cake included 4 different flavors, White, Lemon, Strawberry, and Banana! They also made us an amazing Rumchata adult sheet cake and a Spice/Red Velvet sheet cake for all of us to enjoy! Our guests were incredibly happy with all of the options and raved about the flavor and design of our cake. We could not be happier with our decision on working with Specialty Cakes, they were tremendous with our whole wedding!

Juniper Restaurant & Bar – Menu with Prices – 185 Keefer St, Vancouver

Juniper crept up on my radar once it was suggested that it was the place for drinks after hours… with their cocktail menu and beautiful space, I was thinking this spot in Chinatown would be good. I feel the photos don’t do it justice. Right near Bao Bei and on the western edge of Chinatown, the place is beautifully done. We’re talking subtle relaxed tones of grey highlighted by vibrant blues and soft woods. Light filters in and it makes everyone look good. Need a first date spot… this would be it. There are many cozy spots and 2 dining spaces that you sit, sip, and enjoy in. On a sunny Tuesday afternoon, the bar area was filling up slowly but still allowing for nice conversation and chill moments. Service here was friendly and prompt… they were always trying to see if there was another drink to be had or something off their happy menu we would bite into. We primarily had eyes set on drinks as dinner was coming up else where. I did spy a charcuterie board pass my table and it looked really good. So taking a few pre-dinner bites is always welcomed. Painkiller cocktail – They do cocktails really well here… flavours first but never skimping on the alcohol. Sweet tropical pineapple with a citrus kick hits you first in your sip. The mellow softer taste of coconut, rum, and a subtle warm spice of nutmeg comes afterwards. It’s sweet but not cloying… the little umbrella makes this obnoxiously cute. 4/5 Black Beauty cocktail – This became my favourite after the first sip… darker garnet colours sits pretty in the glass. It’s not as sugary as painkiller but the blackberries keeps it fresh and sweet at first. Then the hit of peppercorn and something earthier creeps in… loved the spicier notes that round this out. The addition of egg whites makes this a creamier texture. They mention there is lemon infused vodka and more lemon juice itself… it’s subtle but it just gives it more of that summer nights cocktail feel. 4/5 Amazing drinks and a gorgeous atmosphere… whats not to like and enjoy.

The Wok and Roll Teriyaki – Menu with Prices – 1700 S College Ave Suite D, Fort Collins

Well, the reviews for Wok & Roll certainly are divided, almost like our current political situation. While I am mostly a centrist politically, I do find myself at an extreme opinion here. This was my first visit to Wok & Roll at this location — I used to go to the other location on occasion and while not the most authentic Japanese food it was at least a decent healthy meal. What I got when I stopped by this location was mostly inedible … the smoked sake chicken was so, so dry, and tasted of smoke but not sake, the vegetables were boring bland, and the yakitori chicken steamroller was at best lukewarm in the middle. My dog didn’t even see the point of finishing my leftovers. Why do other people like this place so much? I don’t get it.

Price Cutter Bakery – Menu with Prices – Springfield

Ordered a cake and cupcakes for my daughters birthday. When I picked them up, they were better than I had anticipated and a very fair priced! I will go here from now on! The cake tasted as good as it looked!

Stash House Market – Menu with Prices – 430 Northwood Rd Suite 1 & 2, West Palm Beach

The first time we went here when the place just opened the food was good but I’m not sure what happened. The food is overpriced, needs salt and we were served undercooked hard rice. They give you tiny portions and my husband and I left hungry. The cocktail tasted like slightly flavored water with no alcohol. We ordered the sushi, the takoyaki and the mac n fondue. The takoyaki was the only good thing. The sushi had undercooked rice and was hard. The mac n fondue was $16 and was hardly anything on the plate. The bread was was stale as well and they only give you 4 tiny pickled veggies, some tiny crumbs of cauliflower, 1 olive, 1 cocktail pickle and a tiny pepper. I wish I was exaggerating here and I really did want to like this place. We ordered the sake cocktail with aqua fava and I had to ask the waitress if there was any alcohol in it. I drink sake all the time and there was no taste of sake at all. It really did taste like a slightly flavored water. I can see why this place usually doesn’t have people in it. The seating is uncomfortable, hard chairs. They have only 4 beers and were out of 2 of them. Hopefully they can work on their food and get back to what they were when they opened as we need more good vegan restaurants in the area.

IPPINN UDON – Menu with Prices – 1880 Mendocino Ave D, Santa Rosa

Delicious, fresh, authentic! We need more fast causal dining experiences here in Santa Rosa. Except, this place is even higher quality than most fast casual places. The ordering process is fast. All of the food is pictured inside and outside the restaurant on the window. I love this, you know exactly what you are getting. You place your order when you first walk in, grab a tray, serve yourself tempura to go with your meal, then you pay. Udon noodles are thick and so tasty with a great mouthfeel. They make them FRESH. You can see them making them when you walk in. Most entrees come with fresh vegetables in the soup. I highly recommend the Beef Cake Roll (I’m 90% sure that’s what it’s called) it’s a flavorful crepe with beef, sauces, and crunchy greens. It is AMAZING. I dream about it. You pay at the counter and they bring your food out to you FAST. Such large servings, I always bring home leftovers for later. The soup tastes even more amazing the next day. This place is fairly priced! We got two Udon noodle soups, beef cake roll, onion pancake, two shrimp tempuras, and sesame seed balls for 34 dollars. I appreciate the quality for a fair price! All the workers are pleasant, the cooking is done in front of you, everything appears clean. We go here weekly, and stop by at Quickly next door for dessert.

Waynedale Bakery Inc – Menu with Prices – 2613, 2610 Lower Huntington Rd, Fort Wayne

One of the little Jewels that i was pointed to when looking for a new bakery (since Richards bakery is now pizza RIP) This place is a dream come true if your looking for SOFT, DELICIOUS, AND FRESH Baked goods! They do Splendid Custom Orders and the craftsmanship is TRULY TOPNOTCH!! Best of all is there attitudes, these women work hard and still greet everyone with a warm friendly smile, and have a way about them that really leaves you feeling you left your occasion in good capable hands. And one you’ve treated yourself to one of the many treats they have available you’ll wish you’d found this place sooner!! Try them out! You won’t be disappointed!! And spread the word as well, I wouldn’t dare to dream of losing such a amazing place. Don’t need another Bakery gone. Pictured is my mom’s banana flavoured birthday cake (yes banana flavoured it was amazing almost like banana bread but cake with banana flavoured icing) i requested it cause my mom really loved bananas, and she loved it (sooo much she thought it was a shame to cut it lol) but omgggg it was sooo good!!! But seriously these people are great!! Totally give them a try! 100% worth it for a fresh, custom made birthday cake!!

isushi cafe midtown – Menu with Prices – 3301 NE 1st Ave #107, Miami

Went for lunch yesterday and ordered 3 sushi rolls – the shrimp tempura roll, the Miami Heat roll and the spicy salmon crunch roll. All were good and came relatively quickly. The Miami Heat roll was my favorite. We were seated quickly when we arrived but the waiter said that he was not notified of the Yelp check-in offer of free Sake and told us that the promotion had not started yet. I asked the waiter to check. Sometime after our foid was served, the waiter brought two shots of sake saying that he would give it to us but the promotion was not to start until next week. Strange because a Yelp check-in offer is not a promotion but a notification that a Yelper is in the house!! I guess the owner should educate his staff on what Yelp is. Lol!! We were going to order dessert but after clearing the table, the waiter took several minutes to come back with the check and we had to get back to work. While the food was good, the service was lacking, especially since the restaurant was empty when we arrived and there were only two other customers when we left.

Sushi & Co. – Menu with Prices – 3170 Peachtree Industrial Blvd #155, Duluth

Beautifully decorated restaurant. Nice quiet location in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Food arrived promptly and service was very attentive. Plating was so stunning. Every dish we tried was flavorful, fresh and delightful. The staff attentiveness make the dining experience top notch; our family felt like we were eating in a fancy five star restaurant. Not to take away from the chef or the decor; this beautiful restaurant has a gorgeous dining area, soft classy music and soft lighting. Can you tell I enjoyed our experience?! We ordered at least 9 dishes from both sushi and regular menu. Every single one of them was a masterpiece in both flavor and presentation. My sons who are foodies loved the dishes, the wood ware, and the cool little pitcher in which their Dad’s sake was served. We are glad we chose Sushi and Co. to celebrate his birthday. He left the restaurant happy and satiated. Thank you for restoring my faith in good quality food and service.

Dragon Express / Pho Vietnam Express – Menu with Prices – 678 E St, Chula Vista

I was looking for pho in the area and came across this place. The reviews all seem so great so I decided to give it a try. All everyone sayd about this place is that its in a run down ghetto place. Thats definitely not the case. I ordered orange chicken, shrimp fried rice, y eggrolls, and large pho. My total came out to $35 a bit more than what i usually pay at my regular pho place. It was good but it wasnt the best like everyone says. Rice kinda tasted like it had been cooked since the morning and just sitting under heat. Orange chicken was ehh. The egg rolls where good. The pho was a big portion but it wasnt all that tasty it was missing lots of flavor. I was extremely disappointed since I was sick and pho was the only thing I was craving. I dont think i will be giving this place a second chance. I’ll most likely stick to my original pho place even if its a bit further.
