First time i am at this location, order a bottle of wine, wings, tenders, salad and a burger, we start eating watching the seahawks game and my husband was eating the burger and in the middle it was raw like running blood, i talk to the server about it and her answered was “that is grease” and then i told her that he didn’t like it like that ,can you please cook it more ,and she said that was how medium well was prepared and then laughed sarcastically at my face pulling the tray of my hands, i pull the tray back and ask her what was so funny about that. The server never asked how he would like the burger prepared. When the burger came back I ask to speak to the manager but there was no manager on the scene, the guy that was running the food say he Was the assistant manager ,I explained him the situation and he apologize saying he will take out the burger from my bill. At that point I didn’t finish my dinner and didn’t watch the game because of the uncomfortable situation the waitress put me in. She came back with the check saying i will not take out the burger because i saw you are writing a yelp review… at that point i was furious so i stand up and walk to the bar ,then the waitress made this comment to my husband “this is your wife.. i am so sorry for you” . She crossed the line. The bartender was really nice to talk to me and he told me if i want a discount besides the burger, i told him i was not complaining about the money, it was about respect and service, i pay my bill and left. I was so disappointed of the service i was provide. When i was talking to the bartender i was crying of anger. I can believe she disrespected me the way ,what she did that is so unprofessional i will expect that someone will contact me and give me a follow up please. At this point I don’t know if the server Mikayla did all that as a racist matter ,because i was talking in spanish or because i am mexican. I call this morning to the restaurant to try to speak with the manager, but no one answered.

Drinks Lounge Menu with Prices 4511, 2001 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin

So where do I begin, I LOVE this place ! Never once have had bad service, food and drinks are SO delicious. They have great specials also !!!! Been going here for about 5 months. I first met the bartender , (I don’t know his name ? , he has long hair ) he’s awesome !!! Everyone else is awesome as well. So today though, worst service I’ve ever experienced in my years that’s I’ve been going out to eat. So I go on a Thursday because they have Thursday specials on wings, I order for my friend and I , I get 2 waters and that’s that. The woman with red hair (don’t know her name because she would not give it. ) she comes up to me and Rudely asks “Do you not tip or what?” I was very flabbergasted and asked “excuse me ?” She said you didn’t tip, do you not tip?” I then answered “no , I don’t tip when I order at McDonald’s,” she then replied “This isn’t McDonald’s is it ?” Anyways I’m a little timid sometimes so I didn’t say anything , my friend then told her ” How do you know she wasn’t going to give you a tip after in cash?” She did say something but I didn’t hear, then my friend told her “you don’t even know us , what’s your problem? She then replied “actually I do, y’all come all the time and y’all don’t tip”. (that’s a huge lie I tip EVERY TIME , I love the bartenders there so why wouldn’t I ? And also if I didn’t tip, don’t you think she would’ve called me out ok it like she just did today ? ) any who, my friend told her “you know you’re very f** rude, can I speak to your manager and she replied ” I am the manager with a huge smile on her face” then he asked ” what’s your name ?” She then answered ” I don’t have one with a huge smile “. Mind you, this is in front of EVERYONE. Oh yea she also told the cook something and he came out here looking like he was ready to bash me or something. My friend stopped him right away and said “this has nothing to do with you, SHE was being very rude” then the cook just went back. So yea I’ve never even had a yelp but I had to make one for this occasion. I STILL LOVE DRINKS LOUNGE, just not so much the bartender. I also read a review on here about the SAME situation , a customer was called out for not tipping , what kind of service is that ? How do you know I wasn’t gonna tip after with cash ? Very rude and want able to get her name because she wouldn’t give it but yea I still give DRINKS LOUNGE A 5 STAR RATING !!!!! This Bartender gets a 1start though. It was awful. Owner, if I didn’t tip the last 3 times (so you say) why didn’t you ask me the second time then, even the THIRD time ? I always tip, ask every bartender there. Just wanting to know ? I always get food there , I do now remember the bartender with the red haired too, I did ask for a to go box and she said that y’all weren’t aloud to give out to go boxes. I thought that was very odd and she still was able to get one for me, so I remember specifically tipping for that extra service. You should be able to pull up recent transactions correct ? Again very poor service from Bartender . If a customer asks for your name or manager you would expect to get it correct ? I got neither .

Rinconcito Superlatino 2 – Menu with Prices – 8901 SW 157th Ave, Miami

RANT ALERT… sorry, not sorry Worst Customer Service Experience EVER. Dear Owner/Manager, If you want your business to flourish PLEASE retrain the people that take care of the telephone orders. I first want to clarify that the reason why I resort to the Internet to write this review is because when I went to the restaurant to pick up my order, I asked to speak to the manager, one of the girls answered “for what?” After I repeated that I needed to talk TO HIM she answered that “he had gone out to buy something and wasn’t there at the moment.” I said ok and asked for his name, she answered Juan, and I said “ok, I’ll call him later.” Knowing that the likelihood of him NOT being there (or his name even being Juan) is seldom to none, I won’t even bother in calling since “Juan” will probably never come to the phone. Now, why did I want to talk to the manager in the first place, you may ask… at approximately 4:20pm (1/25/18) my mom called this restaurant (which we often order from) to place an order(all the interactions with BOTH ladies were obviously in Spanish, since, as others have said, they don’t speak english). When they answered, my mom asked what were the specials of the day, she asked her to hold and placed the phone down, WITHOUT placing us on hold. We were listening to her talking to other people for about 4 minutes, but patiently waited. When she finally comes back on the phone she asks again how could she “help us” we asked her AGAIN, “what are the specials of the day?” This time she told us what they were…. I said I wanted the ropa vieja and she asked what sides, I said white rice, but then I said “wait the ropa vieja is the one that has sauce, right?” (I often confuse ropa vieja with vaca frita), I didn’t get an answer so I repeated my question, then I noticed that she had placed the phone down again, because I heard her talking to someone else, she comes back on the phone and repeats “what sides?” By this time my mom had answered my question, so I told the lady I wanted white rice and yuca. She asked, “anything else?” And my mom asked “out of those specials which ones you think is softest meat? because I need a soft meat for my mom” (my 83yo grandma). The lady simply repeated the specials, I could see she was not paying complete attention to us. So my mom asked her “yes but which one of those do you think is softest, it’s for my mom.” Here, she very rudely answered, with these exact words “mire señora tengo la ventana a full so si quiere decida que quiere y pueden llamar para atras” (basically decide what you want and call back). I couldn’t believe my ears, but my mom, who obviously is more patient than I am told her “I was simply asking you which meat you have that is the softest today” she said “ok you want carne con papa?” My mom said “ok, do that with rice and boniato” … and she told us the total is $19.78. That was it for the call. I was obviously furious. I worked in Publix for 4 years, and now have been working at one of the Hospitals with the highest patient satisfaction in Miami (there’s no need to say the name, most will know). My customer service expectations are obviously a little high. But anyone that has ever worked serving the public, be it at a grocery store, a hospital, or a restaurant, knows very well that every customer’s time matters even if you’re serving them over the phone (maybe even more then). This lady tending the window and the phone obviously never had proper training on how to treat the public, or on phone etiquette when it comes to talking to customers. what happened when I went to pick up my order, I already mentioned at the beginning of the review. Dear, Mr. “Juan” if you want more details on this specific visit to your restauran

The Original Barrio Fiesta of Manila – Menu with Prices – 818 N Pacific Ave & Arden Ave, Glendale

VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER. Before I ordered the Kare kare, I asked how many ox tails was included the waiter, I think his name is Jay or jr. We’ll he told me that it came with 2 big ox tails and some tripes and beef briskets. He mentioned if I just want the ox tails instead of the other meats, it would be the same price of $24.00 for large. But when he was explaining it to me, that he’ll put more ox tails, he said it will be extra. So I think he wasn’t telling me the truth. So I ordered our food -crispy binagoongan , kare kare, pinakbet. And rice. When the food finally came, my wife and I were very very disappointed that kare kare didnt have the big ox tails. That he said it would. We didn’t want to complain right there, so I called and ask him why is there only 2 small ox tails. I asked him where is the big ox tails, he said he never said that and he said there’s 2 in pot. He had an attitude bcuz I questioned the food. He then said he will get more ox tails. When he came back he brought over 1 small ox tail in a very tiny, small pala yok. What a joke , I knew his was making fun of me bcuz I complained. He also was asking me if I was good when he brought the small ox tail. I didnt want to make a scene. We as paying customer either Filipino or other ethic background be treated with respect . I was respectful towards him . I paid my hard earned money to eat good Filipino yet I got very very bad customer service and the was not great at all. The reason we went to this location is bcuz the one in north hills was busy. I told my family and friends of my bad experience here. They just lost a good paying customer. This facility needs to learn people skills. I do not recommend this place even if they giving food for free. Oh almost forgot, I called the place to speak with the manager, Jay answered. I ask for manager he said no one available. I asked for managers name. He would not give name. He asked why I wanted to speak to manager I replied I wanted to complain about customer service. He again had an attitude on the phone. So I just hung up on him.. For Jay being in the customer’s eyes. By giving poor customer service gives us Filipinos a bad name.. I even left a 18% tip of bill $64.70. knowing if I didnt he would be talking bad about us shame on you Jay Treating customers poorly. Had to pick 1 star or I can’t post. Zero rating:(!!

Fujiya House – Menu with Prices – 1489 Carl D. Silver Pkwy, Fredericksburg

I went there and ordered NY steak and shrimp. Steak to be cooked medium rare. When it was plated it looked yellow and pink. I told my friend something wasn’t right. I tried a small bite and it was soar and smelt rancid. The cook told the waitress and when she came to table she said “what do you want me to do about it”. I told her it was bad and I couldn’t eat it. She just looked at me and said again “what do you want me to do about it “. I had to tell her to throw it out and take it off my check. Never did a manager come to table but I could see the waitress talk to him across the room and he just patted her on the back. I pray someone checked the other steak in back and didnt serve anyone else the NY steak. I will never go back and plan on never recommending this place again. Bad steak and bad customer service.

Essential Thai Cuisine Menu with Prices 2415 W Lincoln Ave H, Anaheim

I hate to give them a bad review since this is my favorite thai restaurant. I have been going here for more than 10 years now. As I said, it was my favorite thai restaurant until just about an hour ago. I came in here earlier today because I was craving for their yummy wonton soup & fried rice. The food came out appetizing as usual… but then I noticed an insect leg floating on my soup. I immediately spit the soup out. It looked like a cockroach leg. It was so disgusting. I brought it to server’s attention and in fairness to her she was very apologetic about it. She offered me a new one but I had to say no because I already lost my appetite. She took my food away & told me to wait so I can talk to their manager. I was just going to let it go but this random girl from the kitchen came out and asked me “what happened to your food?” So I told her that there was a cockroach leg on my soup. She just ignored what I said and then asked me if I still want to eat my fried rice. She had no remorse or anything. I had to tell her that I will have to come back to talk to the owner. She answered me back saying “Well, he is not here so…” I was extremely surprised on her response. I didnt want to make a scene so I just walked out.

The Lost Cajun – Southlands Menu with Prices 6105 S Main St, Suite 104-F, Aurora

Our first experience with Lost Cajun was years ago at the original Frisco restaurant. With the expansion of locations we were thrilled to get one in Southlands, we love the food. We have never had a bad dining experience there until last night. Our server was a pleasant, eager to please guy who somehow added a $13 item to our final bill when the card was run. He apologized and went to find his manager who had apparently stepped out…more profuse apologies. The manager reappears, server tells us the transaction is being deleted. Twenty minutes later we?re still waiting for a corrected check. The manager is wandering around, didn?t come talk to us, the server kept talking to him, the manager reamed the server…we?re still waiting! Server was so upset and frustrated, he offered to pay our bill, we told him no way. Another five minutes goes by the manager finally appears at our table, tells me the incorrect check was deleted, hands me his card and comps our meal. Thank you but we offered to pay, we were upset mostly at the way our server was treated. He clearly needed his manager?s authority to correct our check but was ignored and chastised instead! I felt so bad for him and I told the manager I didn?t appreciate how he was treating his employee. No apology from the guy. It wasn?t about the comp (we tipped our server still) it was the entire process or lack of in correcting the check and the treatment of his server.

Red Lobster – Menu with Prices – 163 Collins Rd NE, Cedar Rapids

We went early Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was very stuffy. I requested if they could turn down the air, they seated us in a section by ourselves and adjusted the temperature. A few minutes later another couple was seated by us and complained about the fans blowing so a different manager told them she would turn the fans down or off. Our waitress was taking our order at the time and asked if the manager had told the new couple she would turn up the air and I said(the look on my face was why our waitress asked since the manager was very quiet and respectful to the new couples concern) yes, our waitress then left to speak with the manager and explained that I was not happy about the temp and the humidity, so the manager came over and asked us if it would be ok to move us to a different location which had multiple fans blowing and was much better for temp and humidity, easier to breathe. We were very pleased with the new seats and as usual service was AWESOME. But when we went to pay for our meal the manager gave us a discount for asking us to move which was not necessary but was greatly appreciated.

Riley’s Pub – Menu with Prices – 6314 Yorktown Blvd suite 106, Corpus Christi

Bad service over all. Bartender was extremely rude and yelled at my friends if they needed help. Which was obvious they were talking away from the bar area and if they wanted a drink they would have walked up. Tried to talk to the manager and he ignored me and blamed it on the band because it was noisy which she came and interrupted me. My two friends did not want a drink after that. It was not a friendly way of asking it was more of a frustrated way and her hating her job. The owner ignored me when talking to him and then I realized they are a couple so of course he didnâ??t even care what I had to say. Then whatâ??s more pathetic is the owner and his gf bartender I believe SARAH began to argue in front of all the customers!!!. Never again. I went there to see a band not for the bar. All we needed was an apology but we know they could careless for customer service. Snobby and self entitled energy.

Bigo’s Express – Menu with Prices – 1233 E Alton Gloor Blvd #2, Brownsville

The food is really good. But you can not phone in an order. I just spent 20 minutes (litterally) and 6 calls. I was on hold for 10 mins ( 2 separate calls) then disconnected. The other calls I was sent to voice mail. When they actually answered nothing was said. No “hello” nothing. They just sat the phone down and you can hear things on the background. I even had the main restaurant call and they also got no answer. After 20 minutes I finally got to speak to someone and asked to speak to a manager and if course the manager was not there. And not one person there could speak English.

URBAN, Restaurante – Menu with Prices – 18505 NW 75th Pl, Hialeah

So my review is a bit mixed, but ill keep it short. The place: A Wynwood in Miami lakes, modern, clean and cute. The food: When we speak of the food itself, just that, the food is great and worth going back for. HOWEVER: The service we received was terrible and the reason why we haven’t returned in the past 2 years, and probably never will. I would like to think the waiter was new, but based on how the night went, I can tell it was the waiter and the management. First we ordered beer, it was HOT, who serves/drinks HOT beer? Upon complaining, they said there was nothing they could do…. ok.. I guess? Then we ordered our food. I ordered a hamburger and my boyfriend said that he wanted a chicken sandwich, which the girl said “oh youd like XYZ sandwich then” and he agreed to her “chicken sandwich” suggestion. We wait for our food about 30-40mins, which is quite a while considering they were simple foods. My burger was great, I had a mushroom and cheese hamburger. This came with waffle fries which were surprisingly great (I dont like waffle fries) and it was all very good with me. My boyfriends “chicken sandwich” ended up being a FISH sandwich, which he cannot eat. We asked our waiter if we could please return it as we had not ordered this sandwich. Instead of comprehending and moving on, she decided to argue with us and tell us that we had given her the wrong name of the dish… like really? we told you the type of food and YOU suggested the name, yet its our fault? really? after arguing with us, she took it back and got his order (all with an attitude). I was almost done with my meal when he received his. AGAIN! she took his order wrong! AGAIN, we ask for it to be returned. This time we did not want to replace our order. Instead we asked to speak to the manager. After arguing with us AGAIN, she ran off to her manager. The manager comes back, and we expected some form of apology, not a free meal nor anything else, just an apology. NOPE, the manager was just as difficult to speak too and didnt take responsibility for the experience nor his employee. In the end, my boyfriend didnt get eat and we were charged for my food and the beers.

Gator’s Dockside Murabella – Menu with Prices – 105 Murabella Pkwy, St. Augustine

So my wife found a piece of plastic in her macaroni and cheese, not too big of a deal, just wanted a new one. After she completely finished her sandwich, the “store manager” came by and nonchalantly asked if she wanted a new one…well yeah! The new side finally came out. Another 6 to 7 minutes went by and the “manager” stopped by again. I told him they should have brought it out much quicker and he could have been a bit more apologetic about the situation. He basically blamed the server for not letting him know of the issue. This manager was so lackadaisical and careless about the whole situation. I feel he is a big reflection on why, on a Saturday night, the restaurant was not busy and the servers reflect the same attitude. By the way…this is the same “manager” that parks his car in the very first spot closest to the doors and I have seen take a big spit right in front of the restaurant door before he goes into work. What a joke of a “store manager”!

Blvd. Cocktails Menu with Prices 819 S Euclid St, Anaheim

I just left this bar! I wouldn’t recommend this place. The drinks are great. however, the bartender lost my bf’s ID. I was trying to diffuse the situation. Trying to communicate with an intoxicated bartender. & she has her friends there & giving them FREE drinks. After the bartender started being rude for losing the ID. She magically found it. Her friends were being rude. Trying to argue with me a paying customer. & of course i am human i felt harassed & the need to defend myself against another customer (who was the bartenders friend). This place is very unprofessional. The bartender was all over 2 guys, lost the a customer’a ID, then the bartender’s friends try to instigate a fight between the bartender & I. The bartender’s friend was being racist on top of that trying to talk shit on my cousin (who is mixed with Caucasian, & looks full caucasian however she’s mixed with Latina) & calling her a stupid white girl in Spanish. She was surprised when my cousin responded in Spanish right back defending herself. The bartender magically found his ID & said “don’t ever come back”. I am so appalled of the customer service provided but this bartender. I felt victimized. My bf went back to apologized & spoke to the manager trying to diffuse the situation & he was told by the manager “well I’m with my family”. Umm hello, you own a business, the holidays are over. There is no excuse for your unprofessional staff. But I’m sure the the BBB (Better business bureau) would like to know on how this business DOES NOT CARD UNDER ANYONE ON THE NIGHT SHIFT HOURS ON THE WEEKENDS). I would advise not to come here! Sometimes the good deals are not worth the mistreatment you will experience here by the day time drunk bartender. Just saw the review from the owner. Let me clarify since i was very upset when i wrote this. The bartenders friends was the one being racist. Not the bartender. AGAIN NOT THE BARTENDER. I will apologize for that. & i did not once ask for any free drinks & was not rude at all. I literally was sympathizing with the bartender because people do make mistakes. I repeatedly kept telling her it’s okay we just try to retrace your steps & she was scared to get fired. I dont ever want anyone to get fired over a simple mistake. I even remembered she mentioned that her boss has cameras & i asked her to ask her boss so we can resolve this. In all this time. I had not raised my voice nor was I being rude. & when i did hear the only one person within my party trying to be rude. I told her something. Because no one deserves to be disrespected. I don’t agree with the behavior of the one person in my group. As to why I was trying to leave. But i bet you miss that in your videos. However, while this was going on the bartenders friend was trying to add fuel to the fire by saying she(meaning the only intoxicated person in the group) is saying this & that. That’s when i got upset with her friend & felt the need to defend myself & she was trying to say something slick in Spanish about my cousin who does not look Hispanic at all & my cousin also was trying to diffuse the situation but defended herself in Spanish to clearly let her know. She understood everything that was said. & yes you’re right Maria did offer to pay after he went to the DMV & brought back a receipt. Come on who really wants to do that. As to why I was trying to talk to the bartender to remember her footsteps. We were trying to avoid filing a police report if the ID could not be found. Because that would of been worse to go down that route. & the bartender MARIA was NOT really sober. & after all of this, she tells me I’m not welcomed back. Because i got into it with her friend. How professional is that. I completely understand that the behavior of one i
