Le Petit Moscou – Menu with Prices – 323 Ontario St E, Montreal

Brand new neighborhood bar in the plateau! The theme is Russian so drinking was spirited and friendly. I was able to chat with many of the patrons, who were all local to the neighborhood and most worked in the industry themselves. My impression was this is where your bartender or server go to drink, unwind, and hang out together when done serving you drinks and food- way fun to get an inside peek of local life! The bartender and owner were extremely attentive, personable, and all around great to spend time with. Drinking games and shots were plentiful but in typical Montreal fashion everyone was well behaved and pleasant in their banter. The cocktails were delicious and I’d strongly recommend choosing from one of the many Moscow Mule variations. Decor was on point, vivid red, trendy, and dimly lit. I highly recommend you stop in for a drink and a chat!

Luminary Distilling – Menu with Prices – 8270 Peach St #300, Erie

If you’re looking for a drink this is by far Erie’s best place to go. Luminary distills it’s own vodka and wheat whisky. It also makes its own apple and peach moonshines, and limoncello. You can go in for a sampling or try an assortment of specialty drinks. On my visit I tried a traditional Moscow Mule as well as an Italian Mule made with its limoncello. Both were outstanding! My guest we with a Cranberry Mule and a Mocchatini. They we’re out of this world. The drinks are all craft made. There are no ore-mixes here. Even the ginger beer is locally brewed. Though they don’t sell food, they let you bring it in. And Brooklyn Pizza delivers (which we tried) rather quickly. In all, a great experience and I look forward to going back again.

Alchemy Aqua Vitae – Menu with Prices – 140 N 8th St, Lincoln

Highly impressed with alchemy. This place puts the former establishment that resided here (Doc’s place) to shame. They have done an exquisite job in remodeling the entire venue. Think gothic style/Halloween/Harry Potter themes. It is one of those places that makes you feel like you AREN’T in Nebraska but tucked away in New York or Chicago or some other big city. Also kind of reminds me of the Berry and Rye in Omaha. They offer speciality drinks, including an assortment of martinis, Moscow Mules and classic twists on old fashioned and manhattans. Prices are on the high end (8/9 and up for a drink) but worth it for the quality of drinks you receive, great service and ambiance. They are not stingy on the amount or alcohol in your drink. I got a grapefruit jalepeño mule and loved it. A great drink to sip and enjoy while conversing. The mule glass was decorated with octopus legs on the handle. My husband got one of those strong whiskey drinks I cannot handle but he seemed to enjoy it. Others tried the Reese’s peanut butter cup (dessert shake) and a martini. Everyone seemed pleased with the experience. Staff would continue to check on us even when we did not need anything and were getting ready to go. They seem to have a specific type of uniform but I could not piece together what it meant. A great addition to the Lincoln Haymarket scene. I will be back to try more fun drinks with friends!

The Thirsty Donkey Menu with Prices 4100 4th Ave S, Birmingham

I really enjoyed my experience here with a couple of good friends! First off I’m really glad a tropical/carribean themed restaurant has opened up in avondale. It really is a nice touch and adds to the variety of eateries in the location. The spot is very noticeable but just like every eatery in avondale you have to rely on street parking, so keep in mind when it gets very busy. The interior for its small size can be a little roomy and also includes outdoor seating which is a very nice touch. The server we got was very informative and extremely friendly to us as well as the managment. Now what my friends and I ordered were the sloppy Juan, fish and chips, pimento cheese and a order of wings. We also ordered a couple of cocktails they serve too. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and pack full of flavor besides one dish. They also bring the food out in a really quick speed which is very nice. Now the sloppy Juan is a vegan (or sub for pork)chorizo on a vegan roll with loaded guacamole. This sandwich is AMAZING with a little bit of a spicy sweet kick. I highly recommend getting this if you love a sloppy joe but with a slight twist towards it. My friends ordered the fish and chips and wings. The fish and chips were shaped round, it was also flaky and came out steaming hot but was a little small in size and portion. The tartar sauce that was a choice to come with the fish and chips was a great addition but if you dont like tartar sauce they have other options too. Now the wings were very disappointing. You get eight pieces of assorted wings which are marinated, baked then fried. The wings come in six different sauces and were small in size and were very dry. The sauces wasn’t flavorful one bit and was just a let down. The cocktails were absolutely on point and enjoyable. We ordered the Irmaria and tuff mule. Irmaria is mixed with light & dark cruzan rum and your choice of coconut, banana, mango or pineapple cruzan topping. Tuff mule is with light rum, lime juice and ginger beer. Both of these drinks are a must and both are highly refreshing. Overall my friends and I had a wonderful time with really great service and really good food (besides the wings) and great refreshing drinks! I highly recommend when the weather cools a bit to sit outside and eat or drink with the nice choice of music. (Edit: the pimento cheese was tasty too! It was one of our favorites and a fan favorite there to enjoy.)

Petty’s Meat Market – Menu with Prices – 1616 S Babcock St, Melbourne

Best meat in town. Freshest meat in town. Best prices. Staff is very helpful. Every single item in this store is amazing in many different ways. I’ve gotten fresh salads and pastas from the deli. We get the family meat pack and that lasts us almost the entire month. Very nice selections of wines. We started collecting Marilyn Merlot years ago. They have some very rare and delicious and exotic seasonings. Highly recommend this place to all local residents. Travelers and visitors please understand this is not your typical “butcher shop”. Its a million times better and they keep the place clean and beat and organized. Staff always willing to go out their way to help customers.

Clandestino – Menu with Prices – 436 St Francois Xavier St, Montreal

I’m writing a review after having gone twice to Boho. The first time I went, it was still a new and secret bar, and I remember it being hard to find because I went there so late. However, the mystery of it was what made it fun! We got in with a bouncer that brought us to the back of some food place (later realized it was the express Venice MTL). My friends grabbed delicious drinks and we checked out the speakeasy downstairs. We didn’t stay long because it wasn’t crowded that night, but I had a good first impression of this place. Now fast forward months later, where I went the second time for my friend’s birthday at around 7:30 pm. She had called a few hours ahead to know if there was space for 10 people and they were kind enough to fit us all despite being last minute. Because it wasn’t late on the evening, the lights were bright enough to allow me to see the whole cocktail bar. This place really sticks to their theme of tropical, from the wallpaper, the music, the drinks to the waiter/waitresses’ outfits. The staff was nice and extremely accommodating. The prices are pretty decent despite being in the Old Port. The food is the same as Venice MTL, and I had the mushroom pizza which was delicious. I must stress that the drinks are amazing, as much the first time as the second time! I had a lot of trouble deciding on which drink to get because they all sounded amazing. I finally decided on the Santa Monica which was so good, and I love the idea of a popsicle inside the drink. Throughout the night, the lights got more dim and the music got louder, which is expected for a bar on a Saturday night. The speakeasy downstairs had a private event so we couldn’t go in, but a great hidden gem from the populated streets of Montreal. I recommend to go here on any occasion and I will be back soon! A true 4.5/5 for Boho!

The Good Fortune Club – Menu with Prices – 25170 I-45, Spring

Went here with 2 other people the bartender Amanda is absolutely rude. Not only is she rude but she didn’t make our drinks right. On top of that we had a customer come push us an tell us that the bartender Amanda couldn’t pour us the shots when she had no idea why we had 3 empty shot glasses in from of us reason being we ordered a drink we were going to pour ourselves into 3 shots an take was utterly uncalled for. She talked to I guess her regulars an ignored us. Will never come back again would love management or owner to contact me to make it right etc. But I highly suggest avoid at all cost especially if Amanda is working.

318 Infused Cigar and Spirits Lounge – Menu with Prices – 7611 Pines Rd, Shreveport

Excellent atmosphere….sophisticated, grown adult environment….one of the biggest walk-in humidors in Shreveport with a variety of cigars to choose from…I love the music and the whole vibe!!! The staff is amazing always smiling working hard and professional!!! Definitely wht Shreveport needed!!!

SakeBomber Sushi & Grill – Menu with Prices – 1705 E Broadway Rd, Tempe

This place is so amazing. The food always tastes delicious and fresh and the staff is always very nice. They recently even added Boba Tea drinks to their menu and the manager was handing out free samples to tables to allow people to try it prior to purchase. I’ve been here multiple times with my boyfriend and I have to say that they’ve never disappointed. A few times when they’ve been really busy the service might be a little slow, but they at least continue to check up on you and give you updates on your food and such, which to me is very important. Things happen, but at least address the issue, don’t pretend like it’s not there. Highly recommend this place. The varieties of rolls are amazing. I highly recommend the “White Castle” or “Crab People” and always make sure to check out what their special roll of the day is as it usually is also quite amazing!!!

Blue Sky Bar Menu with Prices 247 E Broad St, Athens

“There’s some blue sky! Let us chase it!” — Sense and Sensibility (1995) What a great bar! Huge beer selection, including cider! It’s beautiful inside – but a hard place to enter if you have already been drinking a lot in town as there are quite a few stairs. My friends and I entered at the end of our pub crawl and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There were plenty of drinks to choose from to satisfy all 8 of us – shots, beers, cider, etc. We were seated at a table across from the bar and had to go to the bar to get our drinks – only drawback – but being the end of the night, I didn’t care as much. Getting a water back was a bit more challenging. I had to ask 3 times to get an ice water (I like to hydrate while I drink). Our shots were not an issue, nor were our beers. The bartender was helpful and not super speedy, but not slow. I’d definitely return on my next trip to Athens.

Broken Yolk Cafe – Menu with Prices – 16803 Stuebner Airline Rd, Spring

I love brunch, so naturally I was thrilled when I saw this opened a few months ago. I’ve been several times, and so far, I have nothing but positive things to say! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable. The service is fast. The food is delicious. And I love their coffee. They use Farmers Brothers Coffee Company, and I love the taste. Their menu has such a wide variety of options, and I’ve tried a lot of the menu: The Just Eggs with the Biscuit and fruit- the biscuit was a little on the dry side, but still good. The Huevos Rancheros- delicious! Their Classic Eggs Benedict is fantastic. Their Belgian Waffle is SO GOOD. I really really enjoy the Stuffed French Toast. It’s definitely rich, but delicious. My bf got the Carmel Latte, which he liked, but I thought it was too rich. I usually just get a latte, which again, I highly recommend, and their coffee is good too! All in all, I love this spot and will definitely be back for more! Highly recommend!

Desi Subs & Grill – Menu with Prices – 2601 S Military Trail Suite 43, West Palm Beach

This is probably one of the best Desi subs places if not the only one around the area. Have not found any place that can make a better cheese steak in town. They advertise being the best in town and it is 100% true. They also have a really good chicken Tikka sub. Great flavor and always fresh. All of it is halal. The service is fast and friendly. They have a stuffed burger that isn’t listed on the menu and you can stuff it with whatever you want just ask them. The price for the food is very fair. I have no complaints at all.highly recommend eating here.
