The place is very clean the menu is clear nothing to guess. For the mango lovers out there the Chamango is very refreshing especially on the a hot day its sure to keep you cool. You can spice it up with Chamoy or keep it simple. I give it 5 out of 5

Hug Life Anti-Dairy Ice Cream n’ Stuff – Menu with Prices – 14241 Euclid St C115, Garden Grove

This place was recommended by my bf sis and I was a bit hesitant at first because usually an ice cream place would have a few vegan selection. But Hug Life had an entire store devoted to vegan. I’m glad I tried this place because you can’t tell that they use almond milk, coconut milk, non-dairy. They brew their own coffee and tea so I sampled Viet coffee and Thai tea. I expected the Viet coffee to be more creamier like ca phe sua da. The Thai tea is decaf and tastes just like Thai tea. Then I went fruity and tried the mango chamoy which is a sorbet. Very good. But my final choice in a small cup 50/50 meaning two scoops in a small cup of banana boy and matcha monsta. Banana boy is exactly like banana bread. The matcha monsta is matcha with oreos. At first, the matcha sample was yummy but when I got the scoop, the oreos was too much and I could no longer taste the matcha. The bf got the mango chamoy drink. I think the guy went crazy with chamoy and tajin. I ended up scooping the mango instead of drinking it through a straw. Don’t forget to check in to get a free topping!

Green Crush – Menu with Prices – Fashion Fair Ln, Fresno

Came here around 8pm and the mall closes around 9pm I believe. No big crowds to contend with, but not fully dead either. I’ve been wanting to try this place since they opened and finally got around to it. There was no one in line or waiting so I walked up and looked at the menu. There were 4 employees clustered and talking at the counter in front of me near the register/ menu. No one said anything to me. Didn’t greet me, ask me if I’d been there before, nothing. I kinda already knew what I already wanted, but maybe a friendly greeting and menu recommendations? There was another employee on the other end behind the juices talking to a girl in front. When I walked down there to look at the containers of juices the girl walked away and he offered me a sample. I said sure and explained that I had never been there before. He gave me a sample of a cucumber mint drink after asking if I liked mint, cucumber and lime. It was good and quite refreshing, but after he gave me the sample he started shouting free samples to try and attract other people. :/ So I just asked if I had to order at the register and he said yes. I walked back over to the register and they didn’t react until I actually stood in front and tried to order. After I ordered my drink (Spicy Pineapple Picante Crush $6) it was ready almost immediately which was nice. It’s quite large (32oz) and they give you a good amount of mango dipped in chamoy spiraled around a straw. The actual juice was very good and refreshing with bits of pineapple in it. The mango on the other hand was disappointing. I have seen someone drink one of these Picante Crushes near me before and I had noticed her mango looked hard and unripe. Harder mango will obviously work better in presentation because it can hold itself up, but dry, unripened, hard mango just doesn’t taste that good. After a while I just took the mango off the straw and stuck it into the drink and I think that helped soften/ rehydrate it a bit. I personally found the chamoy a bit overwhelming on the mango, maybe because the mango wasn’t sweet so it was just salty. I know people love this place and I honestly did love the actual beverage part of my drink. Maybe my lousy customer service can be chalked up to it being the end of the night. I will probably try this place again sometime in the future, just hope the service is better. TLDR: Actual Picante Crush drink is good, but not the accompanying mango fruit. Customer service lousy, but maybe it was just a bad night.

DALIA’S DULCERIA Y PALETERIA MICHOACANA – Menu with Prices – 7310 Staples Mill Rd, Richmond

Love, love, LOVE this place. Upon entering the store, we were promptly greeted with warm smiles and greetings – already an instant win in my book. There only seemed to be one person there that spoke English but she was very patient, answering our many questions as this was our first time here, even with a small line of customers behind us. She allowed us to try as many samples as we wanted before making our decision as we were overwhelmed (it’s a good thing!) with lots of delicious choices. My BIL ended up getting two scoops of ice cream (bubble gum abs cotton candy) – he loved both flavors. My sister got the mangonada – which came with 2 scoops of their mango ice cream, fresh mangos, their chili and chamoy sauce and a tamarind straw. I think the person who made hers was a little heavy handed on the chamoy sauce as it was unbearably sour and overpowered the fresh mangos and tastiness of the mango ice cream. We did a little “sour dance” after every bite. Despite it being extremely sour, you could tell that the mangos were fresh and the ice cream was delicious (we tried to scoop them without the chamoy sauce). I got the frutas aquas frescas – it’s kind of like an icy smoothie. It was delicious; light, refreshing and not too sweet. The mixed fruit cake with papaya, apples, melons and a bunch of other fruits she named that I can’t remember. Keep in mind that they don’t have all of the ice cream flavors on their menu nor the aquas frescas as they rotate them every week (I originally wanted the avocado ice cream and the watermelon aquas frescas but they didn’t have either). I was still happy with my third choice and would definitely be back to try others!

La michoacana newhall – Menu with Prices – 23762 Newhall Ave, Santa Clarita

I’ve been coming here at least once a week for the past 3 weeks. It all started with Mangonadas. Which is a cup with 2 scoops of your choice of sorbet, topped with chamoy, Chile, fruit, and spicy candies. I love having mine with either mango, pepino con Chile, or limon ice cream. They’re very refreshing, and the perfect amount of spicy, sweet and tart. Then I started getting paletas. I actually went today and bought 12.. if you buy 12, you get 1 free. So far, I have loved the pineapple, coconut (water), Cinnamon Toast Crunch, fruity pebbles, banana (tastes like the liquados my mom or grandma would make when I was little), mango con Chile, nuez, and so many others. I guarantee you will enjoy any flavor you choose. They’re all handmade, and SO DELICIOUS! I have also tried the hot Cheetos with cheese.. and wow. So good! There’s so many other things on their menu I want to try, so I’ll have to update my review later. Lastly, the place is very clean. The employees are all very nice and welcoming. I am excited to see that Canyon Country will be opening a location too!

Chaiyo Food Truck – Menu with Prices – 44 E 7th Ave, Eugene

Secind visit , trying to ket them redeem themselves. I went there my first time asked for the green curry bowl, the mango coconut sweet rice and a Tai Tea. The mango rice was cold refreshing and delicious, when you order your curry they ask you what spice level you want; I said mild to medium heat. When I took my first bite of the curry it was so hot it made my throat tighten up and took my breath away. I’m not a fan if hot food but I don’t shy ways either, I add Cheyenne peppers to my smoothies regularly, my daughter on the other hand loves heat, so when I got home I gave it to her cause I was unable to tolerate it, I even tried getting a spoon if the rice and just dipping the edge but it was just way way too spicy to even enjoy. So, I give it to my daughter and she was sweating while eating it, and said it was on the edge of too hot for her! I tipped huge the first time cause I was excited for the experience and we chatted about there food and all that good stuff. This time I went for just the mango sweet rice dessert cause it was so perfectly refreshing and lightly sweet, perfect for a hot day type deal, and I decided to give the spring rolls a go,. I order he he flips the thing around and then hawk watched me to see the tip scene part, this time I decided to wait to tip til I get the food and not with my card. I push no tip, he looks at it turns then tells my order to the cook. Kinda made for an awkward moment, lol, it took about 10 minutes to get the order and the mango coconut rice dish was hot ð??ª , not the mango part or the coconut milk but the rice, and it changed the whole dish. Wasn’t looking for a hot sweet. So with that said , I gave them 2 stars because the food is so very inconsistent, I can’t expect to get the same thing twice, or be able trust the spice levels etc. They aren’t inexpensive, so to buy food you can’t or don’t want to eat is disappointing. They have potential and if you like super hot Tai food that’s the spot

Joe’s Italian Ice Menu with Prices 2201 S Harbor Blvd, Anaheim

Joe’s Italian Ice is located across from Pho Ha Plus, with its own (small) parking lot and dog friendly outdoor seating (there is some indoor seating available). My husband, our little girl dog and I came by last Friday afternoon, around 3:35 pm. After looking over the menu, we ended up getting: La Bamba, $5.99 (tax included)- This frozen dessert consist of chamoy Italian ice, dole whip, chamoy sauce and tajin. My husband ordered this one and loved it. I don’t like the taste of chamoy or tajin so I didn’t have any. Great size for one person. Reg Joe Latti, $5.99 (tax included)- This dessert comes with your choice of flavored Italian ice and vanilla ice cream. I decided to get strawberry Italian ice. I liked that this dessert also has ice cream inside at the bottom of the dessert too so it isn’t just on top. Loved the strawberry flavor and surprised to see small bits of strawberry in it. The ice cream really goes perfectly with the Italian ice and would recommend getting the latti if you don’t know what you want (you get the best of both frozen desserts). Free pup cup of mango Italian ice- Dogs get free Italian ice and on the day we came, the girl at the register asked us if mango flavor would be okay (she said that is what they give dogs but not sure if the flavors vary). I was surprised to see pieces of mango in the Italian ice and I liked the flavor (my dog seemed to like my strawberry Italian ice and ice cream more though, lol, because food taste better when it’s not yours). —————————- (Total= $11.98 with tax) Wait time to order took a little over 5 minutes. Current Yelp check in offer is one extra stamp on stamp card. Once you get 10 stamps, you can redeem it for a free Italian ice or a Joe Latti (please note that they do accept expired stamp cards). I have to say that the Italian ice here is better than Rita’s. Authentic Philadelphia water ice with flavors made fresh and perfectly sweetened. Love this place and will definitely come back. Please note that there are restrooms but you will need to ask for the key at the window. I didn’t use it so I cannot comment on its cleanliness.

Avalon Meat Candy – Menu with Prices – 9770 S Maryland Pkwy #1, Las Vegas

If you like jerky then you’ll absolutely love Avalon Meat Candy!!! This place has the BEST jerky I’ve ever tasted anywhere. I It is phenomenal! Not only that they are super friendly and give you samples so you can have a little taste of everything!!! Here are my favorites – Honey Garlic, Korean BBQ, Double Teriyaki, Chili Lime, Bar-B-Que. It’s all made fresh so they are wonderfully tasty and bursting with flavor. If you fancy something a little sweet they have the fruit rolls – Mixed Berry, Strawberry or the Pineapple Mango and my most favorite the Chamoy – Chamoy Bears, Worms or Rings. These are a taste sensation – sweet, tangy with a little heat/chili chaser that makes your mouth go “Wow.” You will definitely want to try these! Go check out Avalon Meat Candy, it really lives up to its name. I guarantee you’ll buy up a storm and your family and friends will love you for it. Here’s a hint. Pekes Frutería Y Neveria – Menu with Prices – 2622 W Walnut St #210, Garland

I think this place isn’t on here because I tried to check in but couldn’t find it. Anyways it’s been open for at least a year now. They were a bit fresh when it just opened but they have gotten their roots. When we first came here we got mango with chili. The mangoes were bitter and the chili was chili. We also had their mangonada awhile back and it’s wasn’t too special. This time I got mango and watermelon with yogurt. The mango was good and the watermelon was ripe. The yogurt added a nice sweet taste. My husband got the mangonada and they used the natural shaved ice with chamoy and chili. He said it was good and was better than the last time he had it. Our total for both was $9 which isn’t too bad bc it is a little healthy you know.. they also have other Mexican snack favorites as well..

Fruit-on-Ice Raspados Y Nieve De Yogurt – Menu with Prices – 10 N Broadway St, McAllen

We were treated to a raspa (snow cone) from this place called Fruit on Ice. It’s a food truck that specializes in refreshing snacks with the Mexican touch. My friend had a Mango raspa with chamoy and chile (spicy stuff). He said the combination of the sweet and the spicy made for a great, cold refreshment, perfect for the hot temperatures of the valley. My wife had a mango and strawberry raspa. She said it was tangy yet good. The conhination of flavors made for a great dessert. I had just a peach raspa. It was perfect for someone looking to satisfy their sweet tooth. All of our raspas had either pulp of fruit, fresh fruit, or in my case, a peach seed. That goes to show how unique the raspas are. I did knock it down one star because they don’t offer any sugar free syrup options, but that may not be of concern to others. They also sell corn and have other items on the menu, but I’ll have to go back and try them again at a later date.

Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann – Menu with Prices – 3201 Collins Ave, Miami Beach

This restaurant really set the bar with customer service. Their wait staff is superb. i mean simply phenomenal. However at 18% guaranteed gratuity, I guess I’d be superb as well. So again this was another Miami Spice restaurant that we selected to try out. So happy that we did. As my appetizer I had the oxtail croquettes. It came with two nice sized croquettes and a sauce. While the croquettes were plentiful with oxtails (they did not skimp at all), it did lack flavor. It could have used just a dash of salt. The sauce did give it just a tad bit of flavor but I wasn’t a fan of the sauce. As my entree, I had the ribeye churrasco. Seasoned to perfection is an understatement! I wish they would have used some of this seasoning on the croquettes but I digress. Mine was a little more fatty than I would have liked but it was good overall. A little less fat and it would have been perfect! Now for the dessert, I had the frozen vanilla profiterole. Listen if all I had was this dessert, my night would have ended just fine. The grilled mango, kiwi and orange passion jam had its own party in my mouth. A party that I’d greatly welcome again! The grilled mango and orange passion jam was the icing to this dessert! Overall would I come back again, perhaps next year if they’re on the Miami Spice participating list again. The automatic gratuity is a bit of a turn off for me. But I mean if I’m celebrating an important event, I could see myself coming again

Hangs French Coffee & Smoothie – Menu with Prices – 1146 Fort Street Mall, Honolulu

I think I’m in love. I was in love from the first sip. How is it possible that a smoothie could be THAT delicious?! It’s no surprise since he uses fresh fruit. He doesn’t add ice cream or yogurt or anything to overwhelm your taste buds with harsh sweetness. If anything I think he adds condensed milk to some smoothies. I’ve only ever tried the fruity flavors — peach, pineapple, strawberry, and mango. My favorite must be Mango. This mango smoothie is so refreshing, delicious, creamy and perfectly sweet. If you like mango in the slightest way, you must try it. I can’t stress that enough. The sad part is that mango is seasonal so its available during the Summer months. So what to opt for if mango isn’t available? Peach and pineapple are my other favorite flavors. The peach flavor is so fresh, it tastes like you just bit into a peach. Omg, it’s heaven. Pineapple is just as fresh and has that nice sour/sweet flavor a pineapple has. You’ll never want it to end. It’s located in Fort Street Mall on the side where most of the other restaurants are. Parking can be brutal in downtown/Chinatown! My suggestion, go with another person so someone can drive/watch the car while the other goes and picks up some heaven. Oh and it is CASH ONLY. No problem – there’s a lot of banks and ATMs downtown ? If there was 10 stars to give, I wish I could give it to this place. There is no hype, no overrated reviews here. As their ratings says it all, this place is a MUST when it comes to fresh fruit smoothies. I guarantee you will be satisfied and feel feelings you never thought you’d ever feel from drinking a smoothie. **New Found Favorite: Cantaloupe. It’s not too sweet but incredibly fresh and refreshing to have. It has a more watery consistency (as does the fruit) but that does not take away anything from the flavor. TIP: Try to order WITHOUT pearls. It might just be preference but their smoothies are so flavorful, you wouldn’t want anything to disrupt or hinder your ability to taste the deliciousness of each smoothie — they deserve more than that.
