Stopped here before heading to the airport for breakfast. Waited about 20-30 min before being seated and then another 45 min before our food came out so definitely don’t come here if you’re in a rush. But if you’re not in a hurry this was a nice atmosphere; portions were very generous for reasonable prices. A free “scone” was brought out while we waited for our food (more of a beignet) which was delicious and our waiter also brought us some extra food that someone else had ordered and didn’t want because he knew how hungry we were. Our server was very nice, but super forgetful (didn’t bring the hash browns I ordered and asked for Jam for my toast which was also never brought) We probably would have enjoyed ourselves more if we weren’t so hungover, but overall good experience and good food.

Gorditas Doña Tota – Menu with Prices – 2019 Bob Bullock Loop C-200, Laredo

Came here because I’m pregnant and was CRAVING some gorditas. We paid and sat and waited…and waited…AND waited!!! I noticed other ppl who arrived after my family and I did were getting their food. It had already been 30 min since we paid. So i got up and asked about my order. And well low and behold no one got it or worked on it. We didnt even get an apology or anything! And i hate how they jam pack all 4 gorditas into one tiny plate, because then they all get soggy. Ugh I was irrate to say the least. Especially because I had my 4 and 3 year old who were also very hungry

La Culichi Fresa – Menu with Prices – 1517 N Baker Ave, Ontario

Honestly this is the worst restaurant experience i have ever experienced. The first thing i asked for was a margarita(which was on the menu). The server came back & said they didnt have alcohol. Then when i asked for pozole (which is on the menu) she said no once again. Then i asked if they had wings (which is on the menu), i was once told no. We were never given silverware until asked for. Then last but not least, i asked for the fettuccine Alfredo pasta. Waited an hour for it, then the server comes out & tells me they dont have Alfredo. Then when i go to pay for my food, waited 15 min for my check, my gaucamole wasnt in my togo bag that i asked for. Which i was charged for. Then had to wait an extra 10 min for them to make the guacamole for me. I will not be coming back.

Hash Kitchen Chandler – Menu with Prices – 2855 W Ray Rd #4, Chandler

Omg! Overloaded hash hash baby! This place stand for their morning drinks like Bloody Mary Bar and Mimosas. I ordered HK Hash-Carnitas and it was okay, green chili like salsa!? I can’t even tell beside the little tanginess of it. This entree is moody in taste, mixed jumbled up in my mouth. The seasoned carnitas clashed with green chili and fried leek. The Hash Brown and Carved Ham are stacked hash browns, a sliced ham, poached egg with hollandaise sauce and some juice from the ham. Ham is dry and poached eggs are overly cooked:/ I kindly asked for extra hollandaise just to see if it’ll taste better, but it didn’t help either. Super disappointed with these meals. As I was about to go, I have to say something about this issue to my server. I told him how I felt about the meal and it’s up to him if he wanted to say something to the manager. My server came back and ask if I wanted something to order in place of the meal that I wasn’t happy about. I agreed to take the offer as I would feel kinda ripped off if I paid $16 for something it could have been so much better. I finally got my check and my two side of hollandaise 2 oz. is $.99 each. I only asked for extra side, because they barely put anything on the entree I ordered. It didn’t matter to me if they replaced my entree for the fact that they would serve something like this to their customer is sad. My server tried his best and I tipped him accordingly to 18%, because it wasn’t his fault at all. All I can honestly say is that I expect more from this restaurant. I guess, I could try their drinks next time since all of them looks good…? We’ll see.

Canteen Market and Bistro – Menu with Prices – 411 W 4th St, Winston-Salem

We happened in here after deciding against another restaurant. Should have stuck with our first choice. The service was terrible.. slow, forgetful, apathetic. Even the person who appeared to be the manager was unapologetic when the server got an order wrong; an ALLERGY order. The outside seating area seemed like it would be nice, but they only offered us inside. The seating was dark, uninviting, and cramped despite the massive space. They were only serving brunch, and though the options looked good, the food came out staggered and unappealing. For the price point, it was incredibly disappointing. I got the bagel and lox, the bagel was cold, under flavored, and the amount of cream cheese compared to the salmon was nauseating. My husband ordered the corned beef hash and it came out bland and definitely not worth the $13-15 it was. The only thing that looked decent was my brother-in-law’s chicken and waffle, but I didn’t try it so I can’t guarantee. The Bloody Mary bar had 4 bland offerings of toppings. Unfortunate that a place to seem to have such potential is really screwing themselves. Won’t be back any time soon, if ever.

Keke’s Breakfast Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2427 SW 27th Ave, Ocala

My wife and I tried Keke’s Breakfast Cafe, at lunch, for the first time yesterday, and came away less than impressed. The place was half empty, but were told it would be a couple of minutes before we were seated. To start, the server breezed by us, after we sat, with a “be right back” comment. Five minutes later, she comes back. We ordered iced tea and coffee, which she brought in a timely fashion. We ordered a vegetable wrap and a portobello panino. For the next 25 minutes we waited, with no sign of our server, except at one point we had to flag down the manager to ask for drink refills, but didn’t mention the wait yet. The server brought our drinks and then disappeared again. Finally, the food arrived. The panino was excellent. The vegetable wrap was mediocre at best. They used veggies diced small like one uses in an omelet, which mostly fell out as It was eaten. As we’re eating, the server asks if we’d like drink refills and then forgot to bring them until reminded (no, Oh I’m sorry, just ok I’ll get them.) Bottom line, One good meal, one poor meal and bad service. We’ll give them a try for breakfast and see if it’s better.

Hookah Bazaar – Menu with Prices – 958 Patterson Rd, Dayton

I started going to hookah bazaar in 2011 and still come back from time to time. Its a nice enviorment. The owner mario will usually greet you and ask if you want tea, water, or a soda. He will then ask you what flavor hookah youd like then you can sit down and wait for it, maybe play some pool in the back. Theres a tv and theres also a chord for you to blast ylur music on the speakers. If youre hungry, theres an italian resturant that allows you to order and they bring it over so you can eat at hookah bazaar. A lot of times, hookah bazaar is opened after the bars close for an hour or two (depending on when they want to leave.) If you like hookah, then check it out.

Rachel’s Cafe & Creperie – Menu with Prices – 201 W Walnut St, Lancaster

Full disclosure: I’ve wanted to go to Rachel’s for a few years and it just hasn’t happened. We frequent Lancaster A LOT and just always go someplace different. This past weekend we were going to a concert and I KNEW we had to go to Rachel’s for dinner before the show. We arrived around 4pm on Friday and it wasn’t busy, however there were a few parties on the deck. We decided to sit outside because it was gorgeous and this is a cafe, so it’s just the vibe. We ordered two coffees. One was a basic iced coffee with honey and cream and one mocha Nutella latte. Both were amazing. I am picky when it comes to coffee and this met and exceeded the mark. We ordered a Capri crepe, which was a tomato caprese crepe. I added the side of hash browns for a dollar, because I was starving. My spouse ordered the blackbird which is like a southwest chicken crepe. Our order arrived within 7 minutes, was warm, and tasted amazing!! The crepes were served almost burrito style, so you could pick it up and eat it. The hash browns were seasoned perfectly. We didn’t have a single issue with our crepes. Our server was amazing and super attentive. We ordered the pecan turtle cheesecake crepe to finish our meal and shared it. Let’s be honest, we were full but HAD to have a dessert crepe. Again, came out super quick. It was amazing. It had the perfect amount of filling and super thin batter. The whipped cream was fresh made as well. All in all, we were super impressed and CANNOT wait to go back here again. We plan to take friends with us next time, as this place is too good to keep to ourselves.

Cabrillo Park Cafe – Menu with Prices – 4949 Stevenson Blvd L, Fremont

FIRST THING TO KNOW IS 3%. I will explain at the end. We came yesterday for a late breakfast and there were a lot of people. We did get seated appropriately and they he manager was nice and accommodating. 1. We waited a while to order. Granted they are busy, I get it. 2. They brought out our food and the waitress said somebody took my order. She offered to replace it with a similar one that was there but to add the one item my order had and the replace order didn’t. I opted for my order because it is really what I wanted. Strike 1 3. She brings out a plate, puts it in front of me then realizes it is not right takes it away. Strike 2 Ok, I appreciate the honesty to admit a mistake was made but this is getting ridiculous. 4. She brings out my order and I say that I ordered the omelette with hash browns and not home fries. She then shows me her receipt saying Home Fries. I would never say home fries because I really do not like big chunks of fried potatoes. Then she says do you want the hash browns? I say never mind. This will do. And I say this because it has been a while and my family is finishing their meal. Strike 3, I’m done. 5. She then brings out hash browns and says we want to make you happy. 6. Now for the 3%. They charge you 3% if you pay by credit card. Hey how is not explained when you walk in and it is not on the menu. So I ask the manager and he shows me this tiny sign below the counter that they charge 3% for credit card purchases. Dude. Bump you prices by 3%. I don’t usually complain but this was not a good experience. The food was just ok. My son got pancakes and they were rubbery. He did not even finish them. But the bacon was crispy and delicious. I give it 2 stars for the service and that they were honest. And seeing an added 3% was like a kick in the nuts because not only did I have a bad experience, now I have to pay more for paying with a card. Aaarrggh. I am frustrated just typing this out.

Shell Shack – Menu with Prices – 1855 Dallas Pkwy #100, Plano

We went there for dinner last night and received some of the worst service I’ve experienced. Our server was in training and didn’t know enough to answer our general questions. The person that was supposed to be training or helping her seemed to be too busy with bar guests ( there was a bartender) to help our table or server. Our server was very sweet but forgetful as we asked for several items multiple times before her trainer finally brought them out. The food okay except for the fries that came out stale and cold with minimal seasoning and the crab that had clearly been cooked more than once (Shell was extremely soft). I asked if it was possible to switch the fries for another side or what can be done since they weren’t good and I was told the only thing that could be done was that I could have additional seasoning. Our server left without saying anything, and her trainer never introduced himself as her trainer nor told us she was leaving. We sat unattended after her departure for about 20 minutes. I also made sure to ask our server twice about the shrimp and how they’re served. She assured me that they are deveined , but as we are eating our leftovers today 8/27 at 9 pm , I am finding our shrimp to be dirty and none of the shrimp were deveined. This was our first time here.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Charlottesville – Menu with Prices – 375 Merchant Walk Square, Charlottesville

This was my second time at The Alamo, and probably my last for a while. I took my son to see Aladdin. We were one of the first people in the theatre, and were there maybe 30 min before the movie began. Our server greeted us, and we placed our order which was: 2 sodas, 1 popcorn, and 1 pretzel. After about 20 mins a server brought out the pretzel (no drinks, no popcorn). I sat for a few minutes waiting to see if they would bring the drinks, and nothing. So, my son and I started on the pretzel since it was warm. It came with a spicy mustard, not realizing HOW spicy it was my son dipped the pretzel in it and took a bite. It was SUPER spicy, and unfortunately we didn’t have our drinks yet. So we sat a few more minutes. By this time I could see that all the people around us (people who had ordered way after we did) were enjoying their drinks and food. I didn’t see our server for at least 10 minutes. So I grabbed a server who was walking by. She told me she would check on our drinks. Another 5 minutes goes by, and a different server comes out and asks us what we ordered. I tell him, and he says that he will bring the drinks right out. The movie has started at this point, and we’ve been in the theatre for at least 40 minutes, and have only gotten our pretzel which is now cold. Finally they bring the popcorn, but no drink. The server dropped the popcorn off so fast I didn’t even have a chance to ask what’s going on with our drinks. I am seeing other guests getting REFILLS on drinks and we haven’t even gotten the ones we ordered when we sat down! About 30 mins into the movie we get our drinks. No apologies. Nothing. I was going to order more food, but decided that it wasn’t a good idea. I was so annoyed I honestly didn’t even want to sit through the rest of the movie. We get our bill, and were charged for everything. Even though the service was absolutely horrible. I paid the bill, and I still left a tip even though they didn’t deserve it. But, I won’t be back again. I’ll stick with Stonefield.

Tory’s Cafe – Menu with Prices – 1266 S Highland Ave, Clearwater

I didn’t give 5 stars yet because I need to return and see consistency….although it’s certainly not because they don’t deserve it. Good solid food served hot of the grill. Small clean, no frills diner that took us a couple of times to find, but we were persistent. Went for a late breakfast and had zero complaints. I ordered the two eggs and corned beef hash with fruit – eggs perfectly over easy, hash was crisped up per request, and froot was super fresh. He ordered the bagel egg and sausage sandwich and a single biscuit with gravy. The gravy was a bit thicker and the biscuit a bit denser than were are used to, but it still passed muster. The prices are extremely reasonable, the food is fresh without being greasy and cooked to order, and the service was probably the best that we’ve had recently. Sorry, no photos on this one because, well, I forgot and hungry won. We will definitely be back! And when we go, I promise to provide an updated review.

Sugar Factory American Brasserie – Atlanta Menu with Prices 1080 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta

I am a server so I hate to leave a bad review, but my experience here was THE WORST dine in experience I have ever had. I came with my family for my birthday lunch. It was a party of 6 plus an infant. They are not from the area so I thought this would be a fun experience with them…it was not. I hated it for them because they live 4 hours away…they were so excited. I was too, especially because I donâ??t see them as much. The hosts were probably the only ones who knew what they were doing. Our server, I donâ??t remember her name, was overwhelmed I feel like. My family came for okay service and mediocre food. We didnâ??t have enough silverware & there was no high chair for my nephew. We waited about thirty minutes for the high chair. And we waited til after the appetizers were served for the silverware and plates. The appetizer was cold. My family are very modest people, they were not going to complain. The $25 color burgers, or whatever they were called, were okay. We ordered our food and that took forever as well. They didnâ??t even come out at the same time. The food looked like it was sitting for a minute. They were late with 3 of our entrees. They were late with just about everything. We had to keep asking for everything we needed. Overall a mess. Iâ??m not sure what the issue was. I hope this restaurant gets it together. Just be aware when you go eat here. Iâ??ve seen some good reviews, but our experience was just SAD. I DO want to apologize for the servers who sang me happy birthday, I was just very disappointed. This was the first time in my life where I did not want to tip. I usually do about 50% gratuity because I know the lifestyle, but this….no maâ??am.
