Came here at 4 in the afternoon, and got a plate with two entrees and rice. There was a bit of confusion with the menu and the person at the register did a poor job to explain it. She also kept snorting and stuff around the food, which was pretty gross. I had to go with my third choice of entrees because the first thing I wanted from the entree list didn’t count (I guess) and the second one I asked for had been replaced with something else. I got a can of coke to go with the food and hopped in my car. I took one bite of everything as soon as I got in, and it was not what I would call warm. By the time I got home, five minutes later, it was all cold. Very disappointing. As far as taste goes, it’s pretty mediocre. Nothings stands out about it. I’d probably rate it 2.5/5, but since it was cold, I’ll give it 1/5. I don’t want to eat cold food. I had to heat it up on the stove because I don’t have a microwave. As far as the place itself: it’s a medium sized room that holds a counter full of entrees; a small, heated cabinet of baked goods; a cooler full of soda, water, and other drinks; and a variety of random store-bought cookies and snacks spread across the front of the counters. I don’t really know how the cooler of soda and cabinet of baked goods really makes this place a ‘Cafe,’ so the name is kind of misleading. It’s honestly much more like a family-owned Panda Express. The place itself is new and clean, but not what I would call inviting. It’s pretty close to my house, so I might go again to try the baked goods some time.

Pho Original – Menu with Prices – 4747 Flintridge Dr, Colorado Springs

I ordered the veggie pho through Doordash. The food arrived 10 mins earlier than expected.. but when I poured the broth on the noodles, it was very cold, I’d guess refrigerated at how cold it was. I’ve never seen/had pho served cold. It’s usually so hot it could cook the meat that’s served raw. I call the restaurant to see if maybe I’m missing something but the response I was given was “what do you want, you want to come here so we can heat it for you? Just microwave it.” Ordering food to only have to heat myself isn’t why I ordered the food. I’m giving 3 stars because half of my order was great, and the pho eventually after 7-8 mins in the microwave did taste fine. My broccoli and carrots were practically raw though when I’ve normally had them soft and chewable, not crunchy. Not sure what happened with this order but the customer service wasn’t right either. I’ll stick with Pho Luu

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea Plymouth Green Menu with Prices 3393 Plymouth Rd, Ann Arbor

1. Nice study space with free wifi 2. Friendly staff! 3. Wide range of food and baked goods, supports local businesses, e.g. Washtenaw Dairy, Crust, Avalon 4. The drinks are not good. There are plenty of tables – the ones closer to the entrance are normal tables, there’s a fireplace area with armchairs further in, there are higher tables with high chairs in the back, and there is an outside seating area as well. The outside walls are entirely glass windows, so it’s really well-lit during the day, and in the evening if it gets too dark you can ask the staff to turn up the lighting. There are two bathrooms, one male and one female. There is also free wifi – the sign the the password asks that you buy something every 30 min after the first hour of using it, though I’m not sure how enforced this is. They display a rotating selection of artwork from local artists that is available to purchase. The coffee is very weak and the drinks aren’t good. The straight-up cold brew tasted like straight-up water; the staff was extremely nice when I complained and make me another cup with a different batch, asking me to taste it first to see if it was ok, but it was only barely stronger. The dreamy cold brew was extremely sugary, and the French Vietnamese au lait tasted like diluted condensed milk with a very tiny hint of coffee near the end ? Most of the baked goods they offer aren’t anything special, but they sometimes have pastries from other places that are quite good. The cinnamon swirl scone (from Avalon) that I got was really delicious – really tender and not dry or hard at all. They sometimes also have doughnuts from Washtenaw Dairy and cinnamon rolls from Crust, which you can heat up in the microwave near the back. The cocoa mint bar is a dense brownie with a white minty cream layer and a chocolate layer on top – I didn’t really like it. 1/5 drinks +1 for stocking Avalon and local products +1 for good service and being a good study spot

Savory Bake House – Menu with Prices – 3008 36th Ave S, Minneapolis

Come here for unique, flavorful baked goods. I usually stop in on Sunday mornings when I am in the area and whenever I go I find something new and completely unique to this bakery. Everything I have tried has been great, but I especially love all of their savory baked goods. However do not make the mistake of coming here late in the day. I have arrived to find most of the goods picked over and I once even found the shop closed because they were all sold out! Also, do not expect to come here, sit down with a cup of coffee and your baked goods while watching the world go by. There is nowhere to sit in the tiny shop so you’ll have to take your baked goods elsewhere! Definitely put this small bakeshop on your bucket list!

Ice cream is great how ever i dont understand how they can charge 3.00 for a hot dog that is just thriwen in microwave microwave just makes them rubery o have owned hot dog stands in nyc and denver for 13 years and have never microwaved a hotdog

Tree Story Bakery & Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2550 Pleasant Hill Rd #415, Duluth

Overall…a pleasant place to get some work done or meet up with friends! I first came to this cafe years ago. I vaguely remember anything about it then, but I’m glad I decided to stop in after almost a decade. We needed a place to study and get some stuff done so we decided to give this place a shot. A cute establishment with plenty of seats and cute baked goods I’m definitely looking forward to planning meet ups with friends here! Service: the cashiers can speak both Korean and English. So no worries feeling intimidated by a language barrier with these lovely ladies. The bakery portion of the store is a “serve yourself” style as it is with any other Korean bakery. Most of their baked goods are prepackaged, so you can just grab whichever ones you want and load them up on the basket they have up at the front for you. Only other baked goods you might need assistance with is probably the cakes and such, since they are kept behind the glass cases to keep cool. Food/Drinks: I haven’t tried everything at this bakery, but from the few stuff picked up I was impressed with how fresh and moist the baked goods are. The drinks are pretty good and the coffee seems popular as almost all the patrons had ordered coffee for themselves. The prices tend to run a little higher, but this is only because the baked goods are made in house. Since I wasn’t feeling coffee I ordered a Iced Honey Plum tea, usually made hot, I personally just prefer it cold. It was served to me with light ice, which I didn’t even have to ask for. The drink was actual too sweet so I think they put too much of the tea syrup into the drink. I had to wait for the ice to melt down so it would water down the drink a bit. We also ordered the Black Milk tea, where apparently it can be ordered thicker like a smoothie or served with ice. We decided to just do the ice and it was pretty okay. 4/5- because it’s a decent spot to meet up with friends or study. There are limited outlets, so I would recommend maybe bringing an extension cord. This place is always filled with patrons stopping in for a quick pick me up and meeting up with friends. But for the most part, everyone is in and out so if you’re just willing to wait a few minutes a table should open up. A cute addition they have is that they have a small bookcase up at the front to allow patrons to read. There seems to be a good mix of books in Korean and English so it’s definitely a unique feature.

Golden Wok I – Menu with Prices – 507 N Military Hwy, Norfolk

Great place for the health department to eat. The first giveaway parking in front and seeing the most discussing dirty windows. On entering look at the walls and crud that is on them. Look in the display cabinet for your self… It’s under the dirty counter. Look at the kitchen and ask any roach that you see if the food is fresh… Anyone of the huge roaches should be informative. While I was there a customer demanded their money back due to roaches crawling on the stove.

Gorditas Doña Tota – Menu with Prices – 4345 Old Hwy 77 #300, Brownsville

The food it self really good the reason I giving 2 stars due to air conditioning doesnâ??t work. With this heat is impossible to enjoy your food. The ladyâ??s working here must be suffering. The cook was even feeling dizzy from the heat of the stove. I hope the owner can fix his air unit. Next time I will just order to go.

Martino’s Bakery – Menu with Prices – 335 N Victory Blvd, Burbank

If you’re ever at the car wash in this area, or you just feel like picking up some sweets- this place is great. It’s a lower price point than some more hip places, and you’ll get what you pay for. However, the baked goods here are not to be laughed at during this time where all the small shops are turning into hip coffee places. The tea cakes here are so popular that they have them prepared already by the half dozen behind the counter. I really recommend them. I’ve also had the apple covered cinnamon rolls, and on their own they are good but heated up they are amazing. I’m not sure about the other baked goods- I tend to opt for less “packed with sugar/covered in frosting” type sweets, which I feel like this place has more of. So if that’s your thing definitely check it out (and if not try the two I suggested)! There’s a parking lot which makes picking up some baked goods easy, and the staff is always really friendly (there’s also almost always water to the far side of the counter). This store has been in Burbank for awhile, and I hope it continues to stay for a long time!

Ashley’s Deli – Menu with Prices – 3131 W 11th Ave, Eugene

Not sure why they call this a deli. It’s a Lottery Gaming room, plain and simple. Most of these places sell snacks. They’re all supposed to serve customers free water, soda, etc. Most do not do this any more. This place does, or at least the person working does. Very nice! And if it calls itself a deli, I’m sure they’ll put together a sandwich for you as well. Sell you cigarettes and Scratchers, too. Anyway, the day I went was warm – so the a/c felt good, the place was tidy and comfortable. Having someone come to me with an ice cold soda while I sat at a machine playing was great! Even if it cost me $30 (losing machine) before I had a chance to drink half of it. ð???

Chile Pepper – Menu with Prices – 1427 N 45th St, Seattle

Left with full bellies and sniffling noses. Shredded chicken tacos were delicious but service was poor, restaurant was very cold, and restroom was even colder with ice cold water for washing hands. The salsa served was also very cold as if was blended from a frozen state. Only 2 tables occupied on a Friday night so we weren’t sure if it would be any good. With the food as good as it is, this place would be booming with some care for attentiveness and running the heat. It is 40 degrees this evening. Brrr. The waiter was engaged in conversation with the other table nearly our whole dining experience so we had to find our own silverware, our own box, and the cook ended up filling our drinks, bussing our table, and getting our check. Poor guy.

Caeli’s Sweets, Eats and Bar – Menu with Prices – 726 W Sheridan Ave, Oklahoma City

Excellent service, fresh food and delicious baked goods. The staff are always kind and appreciative towards the patrons. The custom-made poke bowls have fresh ingredients and make for great healthy lunch options. The sandwiches are also very good and I always try the different baked goods that they have each day. You have to keep in mind that this is a family-owned business so not all of the baked goods are available every day, and when they run out, they run out so get them while you can! I appreciate the kind attitudes and fresh food. It’s these kind of businesses that I choose to support because they care about their patrons and take pride in their quality ingredients and service.

Cafe at Revolution – Menu with Prices – 1250 Revolution Mill Dr Suite 78, Greensboro

A super colorful space outfitted with great staff, top notch signature drinks, perfect cold brew, and a variety of baked goods and options for everyone, not to mention, artwork and a general ambience that does not leave one wanting. It’s unique, it’s downtown, and it’s definitely worth it.
