Honestly, I don’t know where to start between Bed Bugs eating my partner and myself and the rudest customer service I have ever recieved. I would rate this place a zero star. My partner and I have multiple bites all over our bodies from a night stay. The management when we called them to complain did not want to move us rooms. The night manager made a snide comment that we were trying to getter a better view. I showed her the bites on my arm and she still pushed we keep the room that there are no bed bugs in Washington and that they have never had a problem/complaint ever she called an engineer over to have him state there are no bugs and the could not get someone to inspect the room. Finally, she agreed to let us move rooms at this point my partner just wanted to move hotels as this was 1 in the dawn and we had been itching like crazy and unable to sleep plus the lack of customer service for a supposedly 4-star hotel was a joke. We moved rooms and she called to let us know that the team found a bug but it was not “bed bugs” it was something else. They refused to let us know what they had found. At this point, we decided to go see a doctor who confirmed that we had bed bug bites. I went to the hotel asking to have our things laundred. Called was told the manager was not there went to the location the day manager Melissa was a joke who explained they didn’t have bugs and that she could not do anything about our stuff or the 4 days we paid. That they were doing an investigation and would “let us know”. I explained that we were now out medical fees and laundry fees and now I have bites all over my body. She tried to state that it was someplace else that gave us the bites even tho they showed up the morning after our first stay. This who thing has been a nightmare we’re management refuses to communicate and shows that this place is lower than a motel 6 on a bad day.

Lido Beach Resort – Menu with Prices – 700 Benjamin Franklin Dr, Sarasota

HOTEL HAS BED BUGS!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!! During our first night stay at Lido Beach Resort, I woke up with new bites on my arm. I thought nothing of it the first night, perhaps it was a mosquito I told myself. After going to bed inspecting my body, I woke up the second morning with a brand new cluster bites on my hip and my husband had multiple on his legs (14 to be exact), I then became VERY concerned. I have never experienced bed bugs before, so, we left the resort freaked out thinking we left the horror behind us. Once we arrived at home and unpacked our things, we went to sleep for the night. I woke up-yet again-with new bites. The following night, we go to sleep and the next morning, not only do my husband and I have new bites(again), but my daughter AND son do as well. I immediately called Orkin and had a bed bug expert come to the house; he confirmed we had bed bugs based on the bites as well as the blood spots on each of our sheets. We had to use special EXPENSIVE equipment to heat treat each room of our house to at least 118 degrees to ensure any bed bugs or eggs would be dead. Again, this is over $1,000 treatment process…EXPENSIVE. Not only did we have to pay to have this done, but we also had to PREP for this treatment. This required us to move all furniture in each room 6″ from the wall, every piece of clothing needed to be taken out of the dressers etc. and brought to a laundry mat to be cleaned. Not only did I call an expert to have this handled, but we called Lido Beach Resort directly before we even did that step. The first time I called, I spoke to a man who took an “incident report” down and told me he’d send someone to check the room right away (Room 209) and would let me know the findings; I never received a call back. I then called again, and was transferred before being sent to a voicemail. I then had my husband call after treatment and he was put on hold twice and then was transferred to a voicemail, which he left a message. He then hung up and called back and again and was transferred to voicemail again. It had been DAYS and we have YET to receive a call back from the resort. We are clearly being dismissed or ignored and this is NOT OK!!!!!!!! DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM OF BED BUGS AND NEGLIGENCE FROM THIS RESORT!!!! STAY ELSEWHERE!!

Margaritaville Resort Orlando – Menu with Prices – 8000 Fins Up Cir, Kissimmee

Updated review. This place is waaaaaay out of touch with what luxury service is. I gave them ample time to follow up and rectify the situation but it is abundantly clear that this hotel could give a rip about the people that stay there in less you were staying in very large groups were in the most expensive room in the hotel. Long story short they allowed me to book a room through Booking.com. But when I got there it was not available so when I got up to my room after I dragged everything up there I found out that they had booked me a room that was not what I had paid for. It took several tries to get them to give me a room, it was until I called Booking.com and they used their leverage to get me a small discount and allowed me to check out a day early. Heads up Customer Service called me the manager called me and everybody wanted to explain to me what a great deal it is to get $200 off total off of a $450 a night room that wasn’t what I paid for. More offensively the first offer was comedy club tickets, which they offer complementary. I would never stay here again because you never know if they’ve made the mistake of over booking the hotel and you won’t get a room or not get the room that you paid for or who knows what? In my last conversation with one of the management they bold face told me that they couldn’t guarantee that that would not happen again. So why would I ever stay there. If they are that disorganized to not know who is booked rooms. They shouldn’t be charging that type of price. Also just a heads up about this hotel if you are not staying in one of the most expensive rooms you are a football field away from the front desk and parking. When I was there there was only one bar open, no outdoor bars, it was very difficult to get a drink.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chattanooga Downtown – Menu with Prices – 407 Chestnut St, Chattanooga

This is probably the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. If I could rate zero stars I would. Do NOT stay here. It is a waste of money. Let me start off with the construction. They are currently renovating the outside of the hotel. My girlfriend and I did not get any sleep because the painter’s lift that hangs from the roof was not secured down overnight and was banging up against the wall all night long. I’m talking about LOUD slams into the wall over and over again. One of the elevators was down in the hotel and the hotel was full.. so you can just imagine what a nightmare it was trying to get up and down to your floor. The elevator was always full, so guests and employees had to use the stairs. My room was right next to the stairway, so we had that sound all night long as well. We could hear people talking in the stairway, the door to the stairway slamming, and people walking up and down the stairs. The rooms are TINY!!! I’ve stayed in a bigger room at a motel 6. They advertise the rooms with pictures of a nice big jacuzzi tub. One of the reasons I booked this hotel. Guess what? Hardly any of the rooms have this tub. We did not get a tub. False advertising. The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything in the rooms next to you. They do not have enough room for parking at this hotel. We had to park in a overflow lot across the street that was not gated or watched by security. Why did I pay $11 dollars to park when it wasn’t even on the hotel property and my car was not protected? This hotel is a absolute JOKE! I’ll never stay here again and I’ll tell as many people as I can to not stay here.

Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North Menu with Prices 5151 San Francisco Rd NE, Albuquerque

Don’t use this hotel for your wedding block! . . Sara Davidson was the nicest lady ever when we booked our wedding room block 11 months in advance but things quickly turned ugly when we tried to modify the room block. She referred us to her manager who was very rude throughout the whole process and we landed up having to pay for 70% of the rooms in our room block even though we cancelled 6 months in advance! . . I reserved 10 rooms, 11 months in advance of my wedding in Albuquerque. Later, my family and I had to move to another city so I moved my wedding as well. I notified the hotel 6 months in advance that I wished to cancel my room block. They did not let me cancel my room block and made me purchase gift certificates for 7 rooms for about $950! The gift certificates could only be used in 2018, on a weekend, not during balloon fiesta or other large event in Albuquerque. They told me anyone could redeem them but when my family tried, they were turned down. I landed up having to use all the room stays and each one was pretty crappy. We could only reserve rooms by calling Zach Sturgeon and he was so hard to get a hold of! When we stayed there in the summer we could not sleep because the rooms stayed so hot and the air conditioners didn’t work. We had the AC turned all the way down to 65 degrees F and still the rooms were about 80 degrees F. Maintenance came and looked at them and said that they were working fine. It was miserable! Then, their pool was dirty and freezing! Free breakfast was supposed to come with each room stay but 2 out of the 7 times we stayed there, the manager of the hotel said we could not have free breakfast. . . I wasted so much money on this Hotel and the customer service was bad. I will never stay here again if I can avoid it. I looked up the room rate each time we stayed and it was well below what I payed for the gift rooms. I feel taken advantage of and I hope this does not happen to anyone else.

Holiday Inn Miami Beach-Oceanfront – Menu with Prices – 4333 Collins Ave, Miami Beach

This Hotel is a very ran down. The room we stayed in had an issue with the air conditioner, the air conditioner leaked and did not cool the room. The temperature of the room varied from 75-78 degrees. Complained the first night, the complaint that was written down was the air conditioner is leaking. Maintenance came and put a wet vac blower on the carpet to dry, did nothing to correct the issue. After a late night on the town returned to a hot room and slept with the fan that was blowing on the floor into the room to be comfortable. Complained the next morning, at this time they said you can switch rooms, I said we have 5 suitcases, and four people by the time we repack to move we will have lost the day. (as this was the only day for the beach). I said can you have them to repair the a/c. At no time did they say, Sorry but the A/C is non-repairable. I approached the desk again and told them that when we returned from the beach, no one had come into the room, based on how we left the blower. They said sorry we will call maintenance, again, no information regarding the a/c not being repairable. the entire floor was hot as you stepped off the elevators. The last morning I went to say how disappointed we were being a SPIRE ELITE member with IHG, that this issue was not resolved. I asked how could they resolve this issue and they offered breakfast, we had buffet and one week later, upon checking my credit card, we were charged $76.20 for the breakfast that we ate at that hotel. I contacted IHG that contacted the manager, these crabs informed them that we were told that the A/C was not repairable and we choose to stay in a room that the temperatures were at 78 degrees. We have the pictures of the temperature that was showed to the desk. Let me ask, who in their right mind, would make a decision to stay in a room with a temperature of 78 degrees after being told the A/C was non repairable? This is such a poorly ran establishment, and the lack of compassion for the guest is unbelievable. I approached the front desk and straight to the face of the supervisor, I asked how can you tell IHG that we refused to move rooms after being told the A/C was non-repairable. She said you did refuse to move rooms, I said did you ever tell me the AC was non-repairable, she could not answer, just kept saying we offered you to move, we offered you to move. I understand they offered me to move, at no time did they say the ac was non-repairable. Angel the guy at the front desk, when I asked him, if he ever told me the AC was non-repairable, he said no mam, because it was after that we found that out. I said at least you are the only HONEST person at this desk.POORLY RAN BY MANAGEMENT AND POOR ESTABLISHMENT, I am still trying to get the $76.20 charge refunded to my C/C!

LeTap Inn JFK Airport – Menu with Prices – 139-01 Archer Ave, Jamaica

I have to be going to this hotel for months now. When I first got here, the staff were wonderful and helpful and respectful. The pricing was reasonable and accommodating. After a two months ago, the hotel received new staffs . Ever since the new staffs, the hotel in my opinion has been in shambles. The front desk staff tries to scam people out of their money especially black people and especially black females. They disclosed your information to other residents(pimps)in the hotel. The rooms are dirty now. The housekeeping as well has changed,itâ??s not the same housekeeping as before. There are roaches and bed bugs in these rooms now.Donâ??t get me wrong, this is one of the best hotels on Jamaica Avenue compared to others in the area. The area and the location is great such as traveling shopping and sightseeing. Overall itâ??s a shame, but have to move onto a new hotel because this hotel is becoming into a hell hole!

Hilton Garden Inn Columbia – Menu with Prices – 3300 Vandiver Dr, Columbia

Location isn’t great. It’s a ways from anything good. Great view of Menards lumber and rock yard! The room was clean. We stayed in a suite so we had really 2 rooms…like a big bedroom and a front room. A full bath with a shower and a jet tub. A half bath by the front room. Microwave and mini fridge. Now the bed was a king size bed and absolutely horrible to sleep on ( I know now why they have a large tub with jets! To massage you when you can’t hardly stand up from the bed)…maybe “bed” isn’t the best word to call it. So we can call it the torture rack…that’s better!! If you have children they can sleep on the rack of pain….I mean the pull out sofa bed. When you pull out this full size bed you get the very best experience of sleeping on what feels like metal springs with a very thin sheet covering them. The sleeping was absolutely horrible!!!!!! Now if that wasn’t fun enough… we were in town for a Scholarship workshop for my daughter. They reimburse you for 1 nights stay. I usually always book my rooms through Hotels.com because I get free nights after I stay 10 times. I needed a receipt and they advised me …very rudely that I wouldn’t be getting a receipt from them….it was Heather B. The front desk manager. She seemed personally offended that I had booked the room through Hotels.com and she told me, ” You’re not getting a receipt from me.” Very hateful and demeaning. I was trying to let her know that earlier that morning that I spoke to Mitchell and he told me that they would print me a receipt with no problem…..”Well Mitchell isn’t here”, the response from Heather B…..I was getting frustrated at her tone and actions…so I asked for a manager…”I am the manager.”….I did loose my cool and let her know that I would just eat the night…and that I would advise as many as I could to how we were treated. My wife did come back and finally get a receipt. The nightly rate I paid was $190.53, plus taxes and room fees. Almost $600. And was treated like that over a receipt. This hotel has a Hilton price tag and a Motel 6 bed feel….maybe Morel 6 beds would had been better…no offense Motel 6. I was generous in the 2/5 stars…cleanliness of room 5/5….location of hotel 2/5….friendliness of staff -2/5….bed feel and sleep experience -100/5….value for the money spent 1/5. Have a nice day and stay somewhere else!!!

Chateau Avalon – Menu with Prices – 701 Village West Pkwy, Kansas City

This was the only place I could get a room when I had to come into town last minute. It was essentially a Motel 6 with theme rooms, except I think the Motel 6 would be nicer. The front steps are annoying to go up when you have luggage and there is no ramp or obvious signs pointing you to an alternative option. The stairs are also crumbling in parts and need to be repaired. The rooms are themed, but there are none of the things you come to expect in any hotel or motel…no coffee pot, no iron, no dresser, no clock. The rooms look, if not dirty, at least warn down. The caulk on the tub is cracked all over, the walls are dinged and need repainting, the bathroom is a sink and a toilet and you have a jet tub (nobody wants to get in a jet tub in a hotel room that looks dirty) with a shower head next to your bed as your bathing options. Then, the bar was right next to my room and it wasn’t loud because no one was there, but it smelled like dirty bar mats–for those of you who have ever worked in a bar or restaurant, you know what I’m talking about. The only thing that was loud was the music they pipe in all day outside the hotel that you can hear through the windows. So no napping. And then at 11 at night when it was still playing, I tried to call the front desk from my room, no answer. Called the external line from the room phone, no answer. Called the external line from my cell phone, no answer. Called again, no answer. Put on my shoes with my pajamas and walked to the front desk where someone was there to ask them about the music which apparently they forgot to turn off. They did not receive my calls they said. So as one of the other reviewers mentioned, the room phones don’t work. Seriously. I really could not have been less impressed by this place, and my expectations weren’t high as I just needed a bed to stay in for a last minute trip. I can’t imagine how annoyed I would have been if I had paid full price or planned to go here for a special occasion. Save your money and stay somewhere else. Truly, anywhere else would be better.

Sheraton Augusta Hotel Menu with Prices 1069 Stevens Creek Rd, Augusta

Sheraton Augusta Hotel My stay was awful. Checked in om Friday night around 10pm so we unpacked and relaxed. Saturday I get up early, eat breakfast down stairs and then went shopping. My kids were sleep at the hotel (resting before competition day) and they get woke up by room service who delivered breakfast to the wrong room. They called me and I immediately called to see why breakfast was delivered to my room. I was first told someone ordered the breakfast from my room. After having to explain it wasn’t my room it was discovered it was their error. That charge was NOT taken off immediately I realized at check out on Sunday. When I got back to the hotel my room key didn’t work so I had to get it reactivated. Got to the room and my kids said housekeeping has knocked twice waking them up asking if we were staying an extra night (despite the do not disturb sign on door and the fact I booked 2 nights). When I returned another maid knocks so I call the front desk to see what the issue was. I was informed that they were not sure why housekeeping keeps knocking but they shouldn’t be and it will be addressed. I leave to take my youngest daughter to competition ( she had to be there early) returned and my key doesn’t work again and China is in the shower. Leave for competition get down stairs and forget my shoes and when my daughter tries to get in the room, guess what? KEY DOESN’T WORK! We return from competition later that evening and now I’m pissed because the key doesn’t work again. That night (Saturday) the air was acting up, it was either too hot or too cold. Sunday morning I was able to sleep in and noticed all the sunlight coming in. I tried to adjust the curtain but notice something was wrong. Pulled the curtains back and the window frame appears to have a lot if water damage and the curtain was arranged to hide this. At check I asked to speak with a manager and the food and beverage manager was sent to assist me. For my horrible stay I was offered 1,000 points towards a membership at the time I wasn’t a part of. Due to the hotel not correcting their error on room service I had to wait about 45 minutes at check out waiting for them to try to correct it. As of this morning I haven’t heard anything from the hotel!! I call customer service and made a complaint on Sunday as well. Call customer service back last night and a the rep was nasty and hung up. I called back and was escalated to a manager who didn’t say a lot of nice things about the Sheraton Brand, however, apparently there is a new Marriott brand she as excited about the 1,000 points the food and beverage supervisor promised at the hotel has not posted either, had the young lady check. DO NOT STAY AT THIS SHERATON, looks nice on the outside but if the water damage was in my room and caused that much damage, Im positive there are alot of rooms and areas in the hotel that are not in good condition but hidden. There could be mold and all kinds of things. BEWARE!

Diplomat Resort Bar – Menu with Prices – 3555 S Ocean Dr, Hollywood

My wife and I traveled to the Diplomat from Dallas Texas between 7/27/2019 and 8/3. I will say that the hotel itself was beautiful and the beach front king room with balcony on its own was nice. However every other aspect was a disappointment. Upon arriving in our room the first day there was a wet mystery stain in our carpet. We called and called and called but couldn’t get anyone to answer from house keeping or maintenance. Finally after having to walk to the front desk to get anyone to respond we were told that is was from the staff cleaning the carpet. I’ll leave it to you to decide if you buy that. They do not have regular coffee in the rooms nor a coffee pot. Instead they have some faux expresso machine that makes a shot at a time. They are ridiculously stingy with the faux expresso pods as well so get used to the idea of either ordering room service for a $15 pot of coffee (yeah you read that right) or just making do with two quick shots in the morning. They do not have 24 hour room service nor can you order from any of the restaurants on property. Instead they have an abbreviated menu that has next to nothing available. Additionally the prices are astronomical, it was $80 for my wife and I to each have egg breakfasts, orange juice and coffee. They add 18% gratuity to everything. My wife and I waited for what seemed forever for the bartender to quit goofing off with I assume were friends and rudely take our order. My wife had a frozen sangria after the forced tip the price of the drink as $19. Imagine how much it must cost to get a buzz in this place! Obviously we drank else where. I expect to spend a little more on vacation but this place is an outright rip off and the service was awful for most of our stay. The halls were full of trash and trays. From the first night we arrived until the morning we departed the hallways were never fully cleared. The maids would just leave the huge clear plastic bags full of trash from the rooms in the hallways all day and evening. We were on the 31st floor, at least two thirds of the time we entered or left the entire floor smelled like weed. To add insult to pot smelling injury the manager with a security guard in tow beat and I mean beat on my door at 11 PM Thursday night to demand I stop smoking cigarettes in my room, apparently someone complained, however as I explained to him. I am a non smoker after he accused of my lying, literally claiming he could smell it coming from my room. I started to get a little irritated. Lets just say we won’t be sharing Christmas cards this year. There is literally NO TRANSPORTATION available from this hotel. The street trolley has been shut down, the water taxi no longer comes to the hotel and getting a cab is a freaking adventure. You can rent a car from the onsite enterprise but keep in mind that on top of your rental fees the hotel is going to charge you $35 a day plus taxes to self park the car. The Boardwalk is to far to walk to in the heat and humidity so plan on solving this issue before you go if you’re still thinking about staying here. On top of the price you pay for your room and those taxes. They will charge you $39.50 a day in additional taxes and “resort fees”. This little doozy of a charge showed up two days after we had returned home. This is the only place I have ever stayed that didn’t charge their fees up front. I was less than happy to see the additional charge to say the least. My stay wasn’t worth the cost of the fees much less the price of the room for a week. I could go on and on and on, but I think you get the point. Hollywood Florida is a beautiful place. The water was warm and clear and exactly what I had hoped. However the decision to stay at the Diplomat ruined our entire trip. I hope I can spare you the experience I had. The renaissance on the boardwalk looked nice ?

Curtiss Hotel – Menu with Prices – 210 Franklin St, Buffalo

Very pretty hotel but…checked in very late on Friday night and the hotel was party city with large groups of people all over. Got to my room on the second floor, crawled into bed exhausted only to find loud party goers in the hall till nearly 5 am. I could also hear every conversation through the walls from my neighbors, loud music from other rooms and babies crying. Am I in Motel 6?? On my last night someone ran up and down the halls at midnight screaming and crying. What the heck. I just want to ad that although my room was “pretty” there was not a comfortable chair in the room. There was a hard chair at the desk in front of the tv, a hard stool in front of the vanity in the bathroom and other than the bed there was not a soft comfortable chair in the room. So if you wish to read it’s the bed or nothing. It would be better to have a comfortable reading chair and ottoman in a corner of the room in which to read or relax. So for me, as I said, it’s a pretty hotel but it needs a lot of upgrades for the ratings it has. Because of the expense to stay here my traveling companions chose to stay in another hotel a block away. Honestly, their room was very user friendly and comfortable. But you make your own choice and gather your own opinions. I just know I will never stay here again.
