I am only leaving a star since I dont have any other option, I don’t tend to leave bad reviews but this time I need to. I called at 5:40 and ordered fried dumplings, tang-shu-yuk and Ra-joyuk. The lady mentioned to come and pickup in 20 mins. I arrived at 6:00 and paid, she asked me to wait few minutes that the food will be right out, she was apologizing multiple times for the delay. I understand sometimes there can be a delay. I asked them if they forgot and she neglected… so I waited… she apologized again and again. 6:25 and still my take out food wasn’t out. While I waited I saw multiple tables getting the same food I ordered….seriously don’t apologize and take the food thats ready first for the person who has waited standing for 50 minutes rather than taking the food to the table but no. Their way of managing was horrible but yet she just apologized again and again. I used to really like this place, close to home and good food but now I don’t plan to eat here again, it really sucks they have wasted my dinner time as now I have to find another place to take out food. They just turned a very royal customer away..

Palm Court of Guyana – Menu with Prices – 17116 Hillside Avenue, Jamaica

Called the restaurant and placed an order for delivery. Person taking the order said food should be at my place in 20mins since I’m 2 blocks from the restaurant. Called back an hour later after the food still didn’t arrive. A man picks up (the owner or manager) and says the last order he has in the system for me is from March. I asked him if he could inquire with one of waitresses about the order and he says “don’t you think they will lie about taking the order”. I’m stunned!! What does that have anything to do with anything? You have to question the integrity of the people that work for you, for something as simple as taking a phone order? Or maybe that was just an excuse because he felt a customer’s business isn’t important enough to even ask his staff. Then he goes on to tell me they don’t deliver past 8pm on Sundays. Sat here hungry for no reason!! They obviously didn’t care!!! The man didn’t even apologize, just put forth lame excuses… they obviously don’t care about the people that keep places like this in business. DONT EAT HERE!!! DONT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!! THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I’VE SEEN FROM A RESTAURANT!!!

The Chocolate Fetish Menu with Prices 36 Haywood St, Asheville

Ok I know this place is really good but I had to give it a 3 stars based solely on service. My husband & I wanted something sweet & happened to walk by chocolate fetish which we decided to try. We walked in & was taking a look at all of the variety. When we decided we were ready we waited for a few minutes for someone to notice we were ready when that didn’t happen I asked one of the girls if they could help us & she said to give her one moment she was helping another customer. So that was fine we waited patiently until she was done. We literally waited 10 minutes! I looked around for her & she was helping someone that came in after us but oh well we just got another staff to help us!! The chocolates were good but the service & the wait wasn’t with it.

Hot Box Cookies – Menu with Prices – 1013 E Broadway, Columbia

The cookies are pretty good. The service is very slow as there is always ONE person trying to do three jobs. The poor young lady working every time I go into the store is taking orders from a line of customers, then has to pack the order, answer the phone and tell the person on the phone that the manager is not available and that she canâ??t answer that question. We waited for ten minutes to have our order taken and another ten minutes just to get our cookies. What? The cookies are ready in the oven! Oh, not only do we wait for 20 minutes, we are notified that the cookies we want are sold out and we have to make another choice as the young lady canâ??t bake the cookies because she has to take orders, pack and answer the phone! This is seriously bad service and working a staff member in an unsafe environment. Leaving a teen alone in a store is very unsafe. Where is the manager? Is there a manager? No delivery drivers on site? The establishment was dirty as well, front and back because why…. there is only ONE person working!!

Cacciatore at Heller’s Kitchen Fort Collins – Menu with Prices – 1939 Jessup Dr Suite 110, Fort Collins

The pizza we got here was amazing. It was the spicy Italian sausage. As well as the calimari was also excellent. The only reason I am rating it at four stars is the situation that came up on this visit. We had ordered through slice and received our email confirmation that our order would be ready in twenty minutes. Upon arrival at the restaurant. I was told that they did not receive that order and that they had shut down online ordering for the day. At this point I had already paid for the food and was quite upset. Once the hostess seen this, she went and got another employee. That person proceeded to tell me that they were still taking orders through slice but had shut down the other online ordering. So I stood there for about five minutes or so before the second person came back out and told me that they just received my order and were getting g ready to make it. Mind you that I waited over thirty minutes before arriving at the restaurant after my order. So at this point I sit down at the bar because it’s going to be another twenty minutes before my order is ready. I order a beer and wait for my food. Once my food arrived they tried to charge me again. Thankfully a manger or at least someone who knew what was going on spoke up and told them that slice orders are already paid. So in total I’ve spent probably forty-five minutes at the restaurant for a mix up. Then once everything was cleared up they still charged me for my beer even though I was there for so long. Mind you there was another gentleman that waited almost as long as me with the same issue and they comped his beer. I really enjoy the food here and they have some good brews on tap but I really feel cheated in a way. I really think they could have done better with this situation.

Hungry Wolf BBQ – Menu with Prices – 9865 E Hampden Ave, Denver

We went when this place first opened and loved the food. We decided to take some more people with us to try the food. We sat down and were created by a kind waitress. She took our order, the Catfish dinner and Hungry Wolf Platter. We were told they were out of the beef ribs and they were busy today. No problem. We received our drinks…we waited and waited with no one to check on us. We noticed others getting their food. I asked another waitress to add bread to our order, she asked what our order was, she went to the kitchen and didn’t return. Our waitress then returned and said the kitchen was back up and she apologized for the wait. We were patient…15 min go by and the table next us got up and walked out without getting their food claiming their experience was terrible. Our waitress apologized to them and took their food away. Then I had to flag her down to get the SFSU’s of our food as it’s been over and hour. She went to check and didn’t return after 10 minutes only to tell is that our ticket was lost. We ended up leaving without any food. Although the food is great, the service is subpar. Waitress who doesn’t know her customers food order and the status is unheard of in the restaurant industry and a shame for this hole in the wall. We will not return!

WE HAVE BEEN CUSTOMERS FOR 9 YRS, WENT THE OTHER DAY WITH MY WIFE, WE WENT IN AND WERE STANDING AT THE COUNTER, WE WERE ONLY ONES, THEY SAID BE RIGHT WITH YA, OK COOL… WELL A FEW MINUTES LATER, ANOTHER LADY WALKS IN, COUPLE MINUTES LATER, THE OWNER, WHICH SEEN AND ACKNOWLEDGE US WHEN WE CAME IN, PROCEEDED TO TAKE THE LADIES ORDER THAT CAME IN AFTER US… NEVER EVEN ASKED WHO WAS NEXT, KNOWING WE WERE STANDING THERE ALONE FOR ATLEAST 4 MINS… WE JUST WALKED OUT, AND OWNER NEVER SAID A WORD AS WE WERE LEAVING ALSO…. KINDA MAKES ME WONDER IF IT WAS BECAUSE MY WIFE IS AN AFRICAN AMERICAN(WAS FIRST TIME SHE WAS WITH ME)… NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE PROBABLY WONT BE BACK…..

firehouse subs – Menu with Prices – 6925 University City Blvd Ste. 430, Charlotte

We came as a family after a morning shopping trip at Ikea. It was four of us, two adults and two children. There was one other couple in the restaurant. We ordered and waited twenty minutes for our sandwiches. No one came out to say there was going to be a delay, no apologies, just here you go. I am not sure what the hang up was since no one was there. You get your own drink and chips so it didn’t make much sense. The sandwich was good but I was ready to leave by the time we received our food. I have been to several Firehouse Subs and this by far was not a good experience.

Mr. Delivery Springfield, IL – Menu with Prices – 900 Christopher Ln #8, Springfield

Today, 3 of us were going to have a meeting over lunch. I ordered Mr. Delivery (Sunny China restaurant). It said it would take between 1 hour and 1 1/2 hour to arrive. I was watching the progress bar and I noticed it took 30 minutes for it to progress from order placed to Mr. Delivery reviewing it. Now, mind you, I did get a confirmation email thanking me for my order. I on live chat to ask about why it was taking so long. They took my order number, said they had checked on it and said they apologized it was taking so long, but it was coming. We went forward with our meeting. When I came back to my office, I saw the order had been cancelled. I called to ask why and they said that it was an error on their part that this restaurant wasn’t ready to receive orders, but I was welcome to order from anywhere else. They did have it up and you could order on line. They did not offer anything to me nor apologize for their error. We have used this service a great deal at my office, but will not be using it any longer. When I told him that, he did not seem to care. Has gone downhill since it has gone from Abe’s Delivery to Mr. Delivery. MR This should not reflect negatively on Sunny China. This is a negative review for Mr. Delivery in Springfield, IL

Hans’ Homemade Ice Cream Menu with Prices 101 E Santa Ana St, Anaheim

This place brings so many memories!! This was my date spot now it’s my family spot. But sadly today on Mother’s Day service was completely lacking. It was a little busy but they had 4 workers and it was completely unorganized!!! Super unorganized to the MAX!!! Instead of having just one person behind ice cream counter and helping walk ups, they had girl (chubby) waiting tables and taking orders from people coming in. We came in sat down waited 15 minutes for menu. Then she finally asked our order. Simple order brownie Sunday, 2 scoops and a cookie treat. Nope that took another 30 minutes roughly ( as she ignored our order to help more walk ups( mind you they had 3 more workers that could have helped with that. Then she brought our scoops( could have brought cookie sandwich but nope. Another 15 minutes that seem like eternity since our kids were grubbing in they’re savory ice cream. Then finally brownie Sunday comes and it’s missing most the brownie. (I’m an old school costumer) so before the brownie sat at the bottom of ice cream boat. Sadly not anymore, there’s like small chunks scattered on top. Ok but still good just lacking the size I was used too. Never did waitress apologize for taking forever to bring our order. Then my husband went to pay. She helped another lady first apologized to her for making her wait and gave her a discount. She saw my husband and walked away!!! Like comment sense to help him as you were the waitress but nope again another fail. So another worker saw this and helped my hubby. So yea I get it , it was busy but being all over the place and lacking good costumer service is just not acceptable. Leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth and frankly not sure I’ll be back. So sad because I’ve been coming here since the Original owner Hans was here. He’s missed!!

Lillian’s Inc – Menu with Prices – 4711 Forest Dr, Columbia

I was here about six weeks ago, with four friends. There’s a sign at the front that points out “this is not fast food.” No kidding on that! I waited over 45 minutes at lunch, while everyone else at my table was served. I had the incredibly complicated turkey sandwich, not toasted, nothing fancy, just bread, lettuce, mayo, meat. When I asked at the counter, I was told “WE DO NOT DO FAST FOOD!” I explained it was now almost 50 minutes since I ordered (the place had about 7 other people other than our party), and I was told it would be another five minutes. At no time did anyone apologize or acknowledge what had clearly happened: they had forgotten my order, as several people were served who came in quite a bit after we did. When I asked for my money back, since I had to get back to work, the person at the counter rolled her eyes and sighed, like I was yet another jerk who didn’t understand the “magic’ that is Lillian’s She then explained that Easter was “a busy time for them.”

Doug’s Day Diner: BOULDER – Menu with Prices – 2400 Arapahoe Ave, Boulder

Came for breakfast this morning and had one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The hostess did not greet us and just grabbed menus and started walking. We weren’t sure whether or not we should follow her as she didn’t even acknowledge that we had come in and then she turned around and gave us a look like we were the ones doing something wrong. Once we walked to where she was standing she said “which table do you want” in a harsh tone and we were finally seated. We waited for 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged that we were there (keep in mind that there were maybe 10 other people in the whole restaurant and there were at least 3 waiters/waitresses.) a woman came over and asked us if we had been helped and then took our order even though we were not one of her assigned tables. Besides taking our order, bringing us the food, and giving us the check, we never had any other interaction with her (she didn’t even introduce herself to us.) when she brought us the check I was immediately ready with my card but she walked away and after waiting for 15 minutes we finally decided to go up to the front to pay there. The hostess gave our waitress my card and she went into the back. After waiting for yet another 10 or 15 minutes, we finally asked if they knew why it was taking so long and the guy we asked responded by saying that my card was sitting on the table we had left. Keep in mind that my boyfriend and I were obviously done with our meal and had both left the table and the waitress still put my credit card on the table that was completely vacant. Worst dining experience I’ve had in a while, definitely not coming back. Just goes to show that the village coffee shop is always a better call than Doug’s

Taqueria La Suprema – Menu with Prices – 1591 E Date St #4237, San Bernardino

I changed my review because I have given this place a couple more trie. Now I recommend if you want food to go, to call and place your order over the phone. The wait is still ridiculous if you go in person. I do find that they take a while to make the food but it is authentic Mexican food and it’s nice and hot when you get it. We have tried their caldo de res (it taste just like my mommas) super good, also the Chile relleno and the rice is delicious. Oh and by the way I have not seen the cashier that was rude to me the first time ? the new cashier is very friendly and she is super professional. This is the old review, but I did only order the juice and it was in person… So I was excited to see that this Mexican restaurant sells natural juices. I couldn’t wait to come try them. I haven’t been feeling well and I’ve been craving fresh veggies since i ate way too many tamales for Christmas and eating poorly this month. I came yesterday 01/01/18 and well they were busy so I waited about 25 minutes for my “vampiro” juice (to go). Ok so I get it they were busy, but I came again today, for another vampiro to go, kids are waiting in the car with Dad. I waited over 25 minutes, when the cashier finally gave me my drink. I told her that it wasn’t fair that I waited over 24 minutes and that I was upset. She was a very loud blonde girl, instead of apologizing she said “anyway today it’s the last day we are selling the juices and I’m taking the signs off, have a nice day” (she said it super loud and sarcastically) so I got even louder and said “oh ok so I should never come back again”. I was so mad, she could have just apologized but nope she decided to get loud and ghetto with me. No thank you.
